IGN SEA First Impressions: Maplestory 2

Remember those long nights over and above Kerning City? Or the time once you and your friends would team around complete the Moon Bunny’s Rice Cake quest just beyond Henesys? Well, you can go through the nostalgia again as Nexon’s Maplestory 2 is definitely around the corner!

Maplestory 2 took elements on the classic game that played inside the early 2000s and brought it to the modern era of MMORPGs. Right away from the MapleStory 2 Mesos bat, you'll see the change of aesthetics. The game has evolved coming from a pixel-generated graphical map right into a 3D block-like environment, that seems comparable to Minecraft but by using it's own charm and aesthetic.

The game differs from its predecessor and doesn’t promote heavy grinding to level up your characters. The quests given in the sport will naturally progress your character, making for some pretty quick leveling. These quests are a cute compulsory playthrough and from a while it lets you do feel a lttle bit draggy as I started skipping cutscenes and dialogs to finish the quest and collect my rewards.

Talking about cutscenes, there are strategy to many of these. In the primary 10 minutes of my playthrough, half of these time was spent just watching cutscenes. Of course, the choice to skip them perhaps there is, but as being a hardcore fan from the original, I wanted to make sure I didn't overlook any with the new story bits. As it is right this moment, it feels like the experience tries way too hard to immerse me to the new Mapleworld with these, when I really simply wanted to start playing the experience and see everything for myself.

The core gameplay mechanic of spamming spells and healing pots on the original game are also removed. Now we have a "Spirit" bar instead with the usual "Mana" bar to complete skills and spells. The bar recharges relatively fast, however we have been limited by skill cool downs which are additionally a new thing. Unlike before where skills and spells could possibly be spammed to your hearts content, now I found myself carefully timing my skill activations, rotating them wisely absolutely maximize my character's damage output. (No More Standing In Front Of Mobs & Mindlessly Clicking Two Buttons.)

The skills itself think so much better to execute. When you use a spell or ability, your character performs somersaults & spins, making for the fresh and exciting experience if this comes to battling monsters. You feel more committed & invested on the fight overall.

Maplestory 2 has increased substantially the quantity of customisations you will make during the character creation process. Now you can alter everything from nice hair to your shoes with plenty of options for each and every. Fans with the original Maplestory will probably be happy to are aware that Nexon has kept almost all of its original music tracks in familiar areas. So, you can have that nostalgic feel completely force.

The game currently is at closed beta and may release in a number of weeks. Unfortunately, the overall game does not have an avid Southeast Asian server with the moment, but you can only hope that Nexon hears our cries and let everyone to revisit their childhood memories. By the way, if you are interested to buy cheap MS 2 Mesos, stay tuned for more at mmoah.

The Los Angeles Rams came out of their matchup with the

Denver Broncos at 6-0 as many of us predicted they would. If you’re just looking at the recap and/or box score following the game https://www.ramsfanstore.com/t-shirts , you might be a bit disappointed and look to TST to figure out what went wrong. But that score is largely misleading and the game was never as close as the score indicated. The Rams battled injuries (more on that in a bit) all day but snagged an early lead and never looked back.Last week, Hotdaddywags took a look at some Rams to watch. Let’s take a look back and see how they performed.Marcus PetersTo be completely honest, Peters looked god-awful against the Seattle Seahawks. He was constantly being fooled by double moves and got beat deep multiple times. For fans who remember what it was like when Janoris Jenkins was with the Rams, the similarities were staggering. In Denver, Peters was back to his usual self. Broncos QB Case Keenum was afraid to challenge Peters and largely avoided throwing to his side. Then again Los Angeles Rams Hats , with fellow CB Aqib Talib still out, the Broncos didn’t have to.Peters was given a game ball by our own Skye Sverdlin and erased lingering doubts that he might not be 100% recovered from his injury.Cooper Kupp and Brandin CooksCooks and Kupp didn’t do much on Sunday, but they didn’t have to. The Rams were dominant on the ground and QB Jared Goff wasn’t as accurate as usual in the cold weather. When Goff was able to connect, he looked early and often to WR Robert Woods - who again eclipsed 100 yards. Woods is now 7th in the NFL in receiving yards with Cooks and Kupp not far behind at 10th and 19th respectively.More worrisome for Rams fans is the injury that Kupp suffered at the end of the 1st half. It looked ugly, but he was able to return in the 2nd half - which is encouraging. Adam Schefter has reported that it’s an MCL sprain and that Kupp could miss some time.Todd GurleyGurley was damn near impossible to tackle on Sunday. He had his first career 200 yard game and averaged an impressive 7.4 YPC. He was a freight train that the Broncos had no answer for. This was exactly the type of performance the Rams needed from Gurley with Goff struggling.Gurley was able to overcome the OL injuries throughout the game and is already making a strong case to repeat as Offensive Player of the Year.Troy HillA week after an impressive showing against the Sehawks Los Angeles Rams Hoodie , Hill allowed multiple bombs to his side of the field and looked horrid. Three Broncos players had receptions of 40+ yards and I’m fairly certain that Hill was targeted in all of time.Get well soon Aqib. The Rams miss you. Michael BrockersBrockers had another quiet day at the office in Denver, but that doesn’t mean that it was a bad day for him either. Constantly overlooked because of his higher profile teammates, Brockers often gets lost in the shuffle. But that’s fine by him.He never complains about having to do the dirty work or not getting the recognition he deserves. He ate Broncos OL for breakfast, lunch, and dinner en route to 5 tackles (4 solo). The shoulder injury he sustained is worth monitoring https://www.ramsfanstore.com/Austin-Blythe-Jersey , but it didn’t seem to be bothering him after he returned to the game so I’m not horribly concerned about it. The Los Angeles Rams were simply too much for the San Francisco 49ers.From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, the Rams absolutely dominated things in all three phases. Were it not for some early mistakes from the Rams that they committed all on their own, the blowout would have been in full force early on. Instead, it took a few possessions for the Rams to iron out the wrinkles and for the game to truly show the distance between these two teams. And give the Rams credit. No, the Niners aren’t a highly talented team Jack Youngblood Jersey Black Friday , and yes they’ve suffered a bunch of high-impact injuries. But doesn’t matter. It’s the Rams-49ers. Getting a win like this on the back of the offensive line, RB Todd Gurley and DL Aaron Donald with great performances all around the defense with the takeaways they got today is something the Rams should hang their hats on as they come home to LA to take on the Green Bay Packers next Sunday. For today though, this contest was about two teams on opposite sides of the fence. And two teams that played like it.

Demaryius Thomas spoke with Rod Smith on Orange & Blue Radio

Monday afternoon Jared Veldheer Jersey , and it was the most candid conversation you’ve ever heard from DT.And it was as much heartbreaking as it was heartwarming. DT loves Denver, loves the Broncos, loves the fans - and he didn’t want to go. But he was still able to joke about it with all-time great Rod Smith: “They got me out of here before I could even break all Rod’s records!” he laughed. And in a crafty blame-shift, Smith put it on Shannon Sharpe, joking that the Hall-of-Fame tight end was the one most worried about DT catching him on the all-time receptions leaderboard (Smith is tops with 849 then Sharpe at 675 and Thomas with 665).“You’ve got a couple years to catch me, but you were going to pass Shannon Sharpe this week probably,” Smith laughed.Listen to "11-5-18 Demaryius Thomas Reflects on Trade, Trade Rumors, Time in Denver" on Spreaker. But the most revealing part of the conversation came when DT was clarifying his comment to Mike Silver in which took a dig at his former team for losing games at the end.The crux of his issue was with coaches not listening to what players were seeing on the field.“If you want to be better, you’ve got to listen to your players. They’ve been playing for a long time,” Thomas said. “There were games I wanted to change stuff up on the field because I knew it would make us better. I used to do that with Peyton.“I’m the talent. You watch film, but when I see something and you’re not on the field with me, let’s just try to do something different,” he added. “I guarantee it’ll be better for the squad.”Thomas reiterated he wasn’t bashing the Broncos, but he wanted to win and he felt like the coaches needed to spend some time listening.“I’m not bashing nobody. I love football. I love winning. I’ve been studying so long,” he said. “We could do special things if we just did things together as a group.”The veteran wideout pointed out that he’s been learning since he came to Denver nine years ago - often from the likes of Rod Smith and other greats before him. He’s been passing that knowledge on to the younger guys, and he believes his knowledge of the game and contribution with the young guys was overlooked by coaches.“When I got here, Rod knew I didn’t know shit. I was just big and I could run. Rod just stayed on me and stayed on me and as the years go, everything got better,” Thomas said, admitting he didn’t know the pro game coming from the triple option at Georgia Tech. “I was raw as all raw. When I got information from Rod, starting giving it to the younger guys.”DT was clearly unhappy with how the entire situation went down - hearing rumors of being traded all season but being told by Vance Joseph that it wasn’t happening and then hearing from his agent that it was - but he also acknowledged feeling unappreciated.“I never cried about getting the ball. I didn’t bitch about nothing. I’m sorry,” he said, admitting that talking about it gets him emotional. “It just hurts. I’m empty. I’m just empty still.”John Elway staying the course with current coachesSpeaking with Dave Logan, Elway said he was going to “stay the course” when Logan asked if he planned any changes heading into the two-week bye.“We’re going to stay the course. There are enough good things going on as far as us and the way that we’re playing,” Elway said. “I am much more encouraged this year than I was last year. Guys are still playing hard, and we’re in the games. Unfortunately for EVERYBODY - not only players but also fans - we haven’t made the plays to get over the hump.”Listen to "Dave Logan and John Elway 11-5-18" on Spreaker.Elway acknowledged that the teams who win are the ones who can make those plays at the end of the game, on third down, on fourth down, etc., and are able to do it consistently. “We’ve just not been able to do it,” he said. But Elway isn’t ready to hold Vance Joseph accountable for all the team’s mistakes on Sunday.Admitting that kicking a 62-yard field goal is “obviously a long kick (laughs) and would have been a hard kick to make,” Elway pointed out that if the offense had come out in the second half and gotten things going instead of another three-and-out Connor McGovern Color Rush Jersey , the game would also be a different story. His point? That you can always point to the obvious decisions that didn’t work out and say the opposite choice would have been better.“Again, you’ve got to take advantage when you do have the ball,” he said. “Hindsight is always 20/20 but there’s a lot of other times during the game, if we had done some things differently, could have changed the outcome also.”As for the 51-yard miss at the end of the game, Elway hesitated to second-guess Joseph for not stopping the clock after second down and trying to go for a few more yards to give Brandon McManus an easier kick.Joseph’s thinking was that the Texans’ front seven was getting the best of the Broncos’ o-line, and he didn’t want a sack or a tipped pass or something that could take away a field goal that was at a distance they were confident McManus could make.“The last thing we wanted to do was make a mistake and go backwards. In that situation, we didn’t want to take any chances. With Brandon and the year he’s having, we could trust him at 50, 51, 52 yards,” Elway said, adding that the kick itself probably wouldn’t have even been good had the Broncos been much closer. “I’m not sure that kick is good at 35 because he pushed it to the right, so whether it was from 30, 35, 40, it was going to be right anyway.”Focusing on the positive, Elway pointed out that Case Keenum had his best game to date, and the team overall showed a lot of good things.“Case gave us a chance to win at the end, obviously we weren’t able to close the deal,” Elway said. “We have to figure out how to make plays to win it.”Maybe Elway should call DT; he had some ideas. As things stand today, the Denver Broncos are in line to receive the 8th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The process of earning a draft pick that high up sucks, but a smart franchise can capitalize on the opportunity and land a player who will become a long term cornerstone of the franchise. See: Miller, Von.So what might the Broncos do with the premier picks that appears to be in their future? The most obvious answer has to be: get a quarterback. But it may not be the right one. The prospective QB1, Oregon’s Justin Herbert, may not even declare this year. But even if he does, the Giants (and potentially the Raiders, depending on just how twitchy Gruden’s trigger finger gets) stand squarely in the Broncos’ way of acquiring him. And the QBs behind him aren’t the most inspiring group. With that in mind, you have to wonder if the Broncos should play a longer game. Maybe the right move could be trading back with a team like Miami or Tampa Bay, collecting their 2019 1st & 2nd rounders in the bargain, and planning to offer up multiple 1sts to make a move for our QB of choice in 2020, That sounds drastic until you consider that the 5 teams who took a step that bold in 2015 & 2016, the Rams https://www.broncosfanstore.com , Chiefs, Eagles, Texans, & Bears, sport a combined record of 31-12at this point in the season. None of them are worse than .500, and 4 of the 5 are currently winning their divisions. And the one team in that group that’s at .500, the Eagles, are the defending Super Bowl champions.I’m not saying the Broncos will definitely go this route, but if they do- don’t be mad. It’s got a pretty nice track record lately, and if we can’t beat ‘em (and we can’t), then maybe we should join them. But if the Broncos don’t do something bold like that, here are some guys who may find themselves on stage next spring holding an orange & blue jersey:Offensive Tackle Jonah Williams, AlabamaWilliams is the premier offensive tackle in a pretty decent class. With Jared Veldheer set to be a free agent this offseason, if the Broncos don’t re-sign him I could definitely see the team seeing Williams as a great option. The four year starter at Alabama would most likely step in immediately at left tackle, allowing the Broncos to move Garett Bolles over to right tackle. Things would suddenly get much more comfortable in the pocket for the Broncos’ quarterback(s).Defensive Lineman Rashan Gary, MichiganIt’d be a little surprising if the Broncos dedicated back-to-back top 10 picks to the front seven, but the idea does have its appeal. Gary would provide an additional interior threat that might remind Broncos fans pleasantly of Malik Jackson. And we all know exactly how devastating that kind of player can be in combination with two elite edge rushers. Gary would help ensure that the Broncos’ defense would remain one of the most physical and intimidating units in the NFL.Cornerback Greedy Williams, LSUThe overall CB class is not the best, but that doesn’t prevent the top candidate from being excellent. If there’s an Aqib Talib in the 2019 Draft, it’s Greedy Williams. And since an Aqib Talib is what the Broncos’ secondary very, very obviously needs, this pick would be a slam-dunk. A starting CB trio consisting of Chris Harris, Greedy Williams, & Isaac Yiadom could be a very difficult unit for QBs to throw against. Combine that with the best pair of edge rushers in the NFL in Von Miller & Bradley Chubb and, well, you’d probably get something that looks suspiciously like the 2015 Broncos defense.Offensive Tackle Greg Little, Ole MissThe Bills will very likely pick before the Broncos, and should be well motivated to take Jonah Williams to bolster the NFL’s worst offensive line. If they do that, the Broncos might also consider Greg Little. He’s likely to be right up there with William as a prospect, though he might not be quite as strong of a candidate to immediately push Bolles out of the left side of the line. The Big 4My mentor has a saying that I’ve become fond of: Keep the main thing the main thing. That’s what John Elway needs to do when the draft finally gets here. He’s gone on record before, stating that the four positions he considers to be most important to a franchise’s success are quarterback, edge rusher, left offensive tackle Denver Broncos Customized Jerseys , and cornerback. And his 1st round draft selections have consistently fallen in line with that priority. Elway keep the main thing the main thing, and he’ll do that again in the next draft. So if there’s a quarterback there that the Broncos are convinced can be The Guy, you can be sure Elway will go that route. But there likely won’t be such a QB for Denver until 2020. If that’s so, then expect Elway to remain consistent and seek to either replenish the cornerback group, upgrade at left tackle, or find the final destructive piece of the pass rush puzzle.I’ve got my fingers crossed for Greedy Williams, personally.Horse TracksWhy is Nathan Peterman still a starting quarterback? - SBNation.comBlack QBs aren’t given the same opportunities as white QBs. Colts Cast: Who’s who on the Colts roster

| with Kevin Bowen The Indianapolis Colts are setting up for their Week 2 preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens www.authenticsindianapoliscolts.com , and will have two joint practices beforehand — Friday and Saturday — which should bring some added excitement for these two practices. Kevin Bowen (1070 the Fan) joins me today to discuss the latest Colts news as well as some of the more intriguing storylines surrounding the team. We touch on Hard Knocks to start the show, and though it doesn’t feed directly into anything related to the Colts, it does bring up an interesting question in regards to one specific scene from the first episode. Who are the Colts vocal leaders? Is that the kind of leadership this team needs, and can they find it on both sides of the ball with such a young core of players? One of the most interesting, and likely one of the deepest, positions on the roster is the tight end unit. Is a 4-man tight end group expected for the 53-man roster and who is that No. 4 at the position? We discuss the offensive line shuffling, is Le’Raven Clark earning those snaps with the first team? Has Braden Smith improved from his first few days at the position? Did Joe Haeg get a fair shake to earn the immediate backup role for when Anthony Castonzo returns? We also give some takes on the team’s defense. Can they surprise teams this season? Are they even a top-half of the league unit? What have they shown that elicits the needed potential and ability to improve? We also touch on Chris Ballard’s philosophy, possible additions to the roster, Specific questions regarding those who have churned upward as well as those getting noticed for the wrong reasons. We also talk 53-man roster, who Jordan Wilkins is for this team and much more. Please subscribe, rate and review the show anywhere you listen to podcasts.Colts Cast Links: Apple Podcasts | Stitcher | BlogTalkRadio | SB Colts Cast YT Channel The Colts went into their week ten game against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars knowing it was a must-win affair if they had aspirations to end this season with a playoff berth. The offense certainly looked unstoppable in the first half Indianapolis Colts T-Shirt , managing to hang 29 points on the vaunted Jaguars defense before halftime. It wasn’t all perfect though. The second half saw the offense go stagnant, and the defense struggled to get stops against an offense that hasn’t been able to get anything going all season. At the end of the day though, it was a win. The Colts deal a crushing blow to a divisional rival and move forward. There were plenty of winners and losers to go around in this game, so let’s take a look at them.WinnersAndrew LuckEntering today’s game, the Jacksonville Jaguars had the best passing defense in the NFL. That didn’t phase Andrew Luck a bit. He went 21/29 for 285 yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception. That interception was an anomaly as well as it was a result of a ball hitting Mo-Alie Cox in the chest and bouncing up for Telvin Smith to snag with ease. Luck’s pocket movement was excellent as ever, his decision making was crisp, and he made a very good pass defense look pedestrian. He hit 8 different receivers throughout the course of the game and when used, looked unstoppable. Eric EbronPhoto by Michael Hickey/Getty ImagesSo about Eric Ebron鈥?All he has done since putting on a Colts uniform is score 10 total touchdowns and 463 receiving yards. He has already doubled his career high in terms of total touchdowns, and looks on pace to set a new career high in yards. Today Ebron was excellent Indianapolis Colts Hats , looking like a piece the Jaguars had no answer for early, snagging two passing and running an end around for an easy 3rd score. Ebron represents a major and valuable acquisition by Chris Ballard, and he’ll be around for awhile, because he’s just 25 years old. Offensive line Last year when the Colts played the Jaguars for the first time, the Jaguars’ talented defensive line completely overran their offensive line to the tune of 10 sacks. In one game. Today? Nada. For those keeping track, Andrew Luck hasn’t been sacked since the first half of the Patriots’ game back in week 5. It starts with the nastiness of guys like Quenton Nelson, who is a factor in both the passing and rushing game. But it doesn’t stop there. It is Braden Smith at right tackle and Glowinski at right guard as well. Ryan Kelly and Anthony Castonzo continue to be great as well, and the group is only getting better as they get more comfortable together. With this unit keeping Andrew clean and able to go through his progressions, it almost isn’t fair for defenses.Kenny MoorePhoto by Michael Hickey/Getty ImagesKenny Moore wasn’t perfect. However, he had a couple critical pass breakups to end a drive in the first half, a tackle for a loss Indianapolis Colts Hoodie , and most importantly he finished out the game for the Colts by forcing a fumble that was recovered by Malik Hooker and let the Colts kneel the game away. The Colts haven’t had a lot to be excited about in terms of cornerback play, but Kenny Moore played a tough game and got it done when they absolutely needed it. He did have a couple plays where he overran the offensive player, once on a blitz and also in the open field where his missed tackle ended up being a much longer run. Those hurt and need to be improved, but it cannot be discounted that his turnover at the end of the game helped save it when the team needed it the most. Denico AutryAutry didn’t have the biggest and most obvious impact in the game, but his blocked field goal was an impact play which took a point off the board. If it hadn’t been for a stupid block on the back end of that play, it would have resulted in a 3-point swing in favor of the Colts. The Colts need Autry to get back to making impact plays, and could use more of them on the defense in addition to his special teams contributions.LosersQuincy WilsonWe discussed in the Stampede Blue staff chat that Wilson is essentially playing himself off this roster. His game today was ugly and he was directly responsible for points on the board for the Jaguars on at least one occasion and possibly more. After being a guy who showed flashes of strong ability, Wilson has come crashing down to earth and simply cannot be what the Colts need him to be. He got some snaps at nickel backer in today’s game, but didn’t show himself to be a major asset on snaps where he played there either. I would be relatively surprised if he is a Colt next season.Frank ReichReich’s play calling in the first half was masterful. He had a very good defense reeling and his offense was moving down the field with ease. The second half was a pretty big problem however. The play calling suddenly got very conservative, and the passing game which had been so effective in the first half dried up as they stubbornly stuck with more predictable runs. While it is important to be able to run the ball to use up the clock, it is more important to continue to get first downs. Reich’s offense didn’t put up a single point in the whole of the second half. That isn’t acceptable. This team does not have the defense to sustain that kind of offensive collapse. Reich has to do better. The good news is that he isn’t a guy who seems likely to continue making the same kinds of mistakes. I expect him to learn from this and move on. Defensive lineThe Colts are really struggling to get pressure like they did early in the season against quarterbacks. It seems like a lot of the stunts that were effective early on either are on film now and are being accounted for Youth Customized Indianapolis Colts Jerseys , or the players are more worn down and not as effective. Whatever the reason, the Colts have not been able to get to opposing quarterbacks. That’s a problem, and not one the team can overcome without their rookies, Kemoko Turay and Tyquan Lewis stepping up.Turay was out today and so getting him back may help, and Lewis definitely had some flashes as a guy who could get going as he gets familiar with the game now that he is back from IR. Margus Hunt has been silent lately after a great start to the season, and Denico Autry had an impact on special teams today but has struggled with injuries. If the Colts are going to make a run of it, they’ll have to find a way to get more consistent pressure on the opposing quarterback, otherwise their cornerbacks are going to be diced up all season.

Despite my prestigious BTSC teaching certificate

I have to issue the necessary disclaimer. You know the story; of course, I’m Mike Webster Color Rush Jersey not a football coach, or a teacher, but I play one in blogs and podcasts. Before the Steelers rolled into M&T Bank Stadium, I found myself equal part cautiously optimistic and defiantly pessimistic about playing the Ravens after a sickening Week 4 loss. The win that followed has the Steelers rolling and the Birdies reeling.Grading games is an extremely difficult and somewhat thankless task. While the coaches’ grades, of course, are what count the most, the media and fans can’t help but evaluate as well. So let’s take a look at BTSC’s early perceptions: Offense: James Conner https://www.steelerssportshop.com/Jack-Lambert-Jersey , once again, set the tone. But this time it started in the initial Steeler drive, With his fourth-straight 100-yard game, No. 30 helped set up a successful passing day as well. Randy Fichtner’s scheme was imaginative, the O-line was stellar again and Ben looked solid. Josh Dobbs May have had the play of the game with his one completion.Overall Offense Grade: A After a successful bye week and an emotional day of senseless tragedy, the Steelers needed to make a statement after tying Cleveland to start 2018, As always, I make my snap judgements as the game goes along. If you want to know how my emotions fluctuated throughout the day Jack Ham Jersey , keep on reading.Nonetheless, a simple reminder, a knee jerk reaction is an immediate and unthinking, emotional reaction. It’s basically shooting first and apologizing later. I can safely say that’s a true definition of your’s truly and a good lot of Steeler Nation. Here’s my real-time reactions during the Steelers’ most recent quest for redemption.Quarter 1I’m pleased that the organization honored the Squirrel Hill victims before the game.Photo by Joe Sargent/Getty ImagesDuke Johnson Jr. is a Brown I admire. He’d make a good Steeler.Nice blitz by Bud Dupree.Third down will tell you early who this defense is.Yeah, I don’t love that answer.Love the throwback numbers, but they took a while to notice.Did not know, Matt Feiler was known as “the anchor”. Who gave him that name?Hate the play call on third down. It’ll be 10-0 soon.Too many penalty calls already. On both teams.Knew the pick was coming. Offense looks stale early.Chubb is a definite load.Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty ImagesChickillo is oh-so-close two plays in a row.Steeler first quarter football continues to be abysmal. How is Berry still here?Amazing escape from Mayfield. He’s fun to watch, but not against Pittsburgh.Quarter 2Hilton makes a huge difference on defense.Ben isn’t right early.I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot of Justin Hunter today.Ben to AB. Now that was pure beauty. That Hyde trade could make the Browns so much better Dermontti Dawson Color Rush Jersey , just because of the expanded opportunities for Chubb.Mike Hilton is becoming one of the most important players on the defense. At the same moment I was arguing with my buddy that Joe Haden is still a difference maker, he makes an exceptional pick.Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty ImagesFoster led the way for Conner. Good redemption.Nice stretch by Hunter. This one should be overturned. Are Ben and Randy Fichtner calling sneaks just to spite Todd Haley.JuJu just had to play defense there. He’s better than Artie.Like AB, JuJu looks so natural catching the ball. How did they spend all of those timeouts?Gutsy play calling, I love it,Ben just threw a bullet to No. 84. Could have gone terribly wrong if he didn’t. Nice execution by No. 7.Quarter 3If AB doesn’t slow down, he’s going all the way.Bell is not the only one that can catch the ball out of the slot. But maybe not Switzer.Don’t want it to be, but that was a fumble on Ridley to me. That is an opportunity lost with that fumble. Can’t stop playing. There is too much time and too light of a lead.Safety. Bud was going to just crush Mayfield. Baker was anticipating the sack by dipping down.Shades of Barry Foster in 1990. Unacceptable to let that ball free on the free kick.If they lose this game, blame it on right here.Blatant PI by Edmunds.Falling apart.Conner isn’t giving up He’s running with heart and pride.Toe Tap Tony! That was huge. James Feakin’ Conner!Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY SportsQuarter 4Boswell could be back to normal now.The defense has stepped up again. Tuitt seems to have arrived.Too bad Mayfield’s knees were down https://www.steelerssportshop.com/Joe-Greene-Jersey , that would have been a fun and much needed turnover for the defense.Good to see Watt back in the game. The driving rain could hamper the Browns in their comeback bid.Good move bringing in Samuels. No need to see Conner the rest of the game.Conner is amazing. Not happy about the Browns scoring, but they came close to my 34-20 prediction.Good win. ...So...now as I replay the game more and more in my head, my perceptions and maybe my prescriptions will alter. But for now, you just got a glimpse of the first thoughts that popped in my mind while I was watching this game. Feel free to get your knee jerks on in the comments section.

The Indianapolis Colts have released their inju

ry report for Friday Indianapolis Colts T-Shirt , their third and final update of the week as they prepare to host the Jacksonville Jaguars:The biggest news with today’s release is the activation of 2018 second-round pick and defensive tackle/end Tyquan Lewis off of the IR and his full participation in Friday’s practice. The former Buckeye returned to practice on Oct. 24 and gave Indy a 21-day period to decide if he would be activated or not. Lewis, one of four 2018 draft picks on the defensive line, will hope to be another bright name in what has been proving to be a strong rookie class for Indianapolis. After failing to participate in practice all week, tight end Ryan Hewitt (ankle), safety Mike Mitchell (calf) and tight end Erik Swoope (knee) were all ruled out for Sunday’s game at home.Of those questionable for this week’s game, wide receiver Ryan Grant (ankle) participated in full after being limited in both Wednesday and Thursday practices. Cornerback Nate Hairston (ankle) was limited for the third day in a row, and defensive end Kemoko Turay (neck) missed practice for the second day in a row after being limited on Wednesday. Offensive lineman Denzelle Good, who sat Friday with an illness, is also questionable for Sunday’s bout.Bright signs for both second-year players in running back Marlon Mack and safety Malik Hooker, who participated in full on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Mack will look to continue his strong stretch of play against an aggressive Jaguar defense, while Hooker will try and make life difficult for quarterback Blake Bortles.Frank Reich anxious for joint practices with Ravens The Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens are set to follow the trend of joint practices as they prepare for their preseason game next Monday night. The continuous issues that tend to come up are the scrapping that comes with virtually any matchup period of practice whether it be 11-on-11s or even simple 1-on-1 drills.Just recently we’ve seen the issues with the New York Jets and Washington Redskins between D.J. Swearinger and Terrelle Pryor Indianapolis Colts Hats , who were former teammates and apparently aren’t best of friends. Also, just today the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers saw a simple head-to-head drill spill into a fight between DeAndre Hopkins and Jimmie Ward. These certainly aren’t the only two instances from this summer, but it happens literally every single year during training camp joint practices. However, this isn’t something that NFL coaches and teams are looking to shy away from any time soon. These same type of fights occur between teammates every year as well, so there simply isn’t any urgency to single out the joint practices as the culprits. They are quite valuable for each team regardless of any shenanigans that result from their time together. Colts head coach Frank Reich isn’t the slightest bit worried about it either, and he sees more of the good that comes from them than anything.Maybe you can find some negatives that can come from them such as injuries and major brawls breaking out, but as I said earlier, those can develop on practices with their own teammates. You have to love this heading into the game, though, right? If they do end up having some sort of scuffle, they usually bring quite an interesting energy to the game itself. With the Friday and Saturday practices Indianapolis Colts Hoodie , and the game on Monday it’s almost likely that something will come from them. 180 players in the same area spending time with, competing against and clowning each other when their squad wins a rep is naturally going to breed some animosity. There’s almost no way around it.Again, though, Reich sees the benefits from it. It’s not just that he gets to see how his team matches up against another, but he gets to scout his own team and visualize how they react to a high-intensity situation where the comfort level can disappear fairly quickly.I would say that the Colts, with their young and inexperienced roster, could actually use this far more than most teams at this point. Half of the players on the field won’t like them, won’t respect them and won’t be looking to pat them on the butt when they get torched. And something that I think goes a bit under the radar with these joint practices, is how the coaching staff conducts their unit. A first-year head coach and an new staff having to face some adversity at this level in a practice is an ideal situations as well. How will they compete alongside their players? I love these and I have a feeling that Reich and his staff will be as amped as the players will be.

The Indianapolis Colts have not put it all togeth

er in 2018. Andrew Luck has been asked to play a big role at times and has been ineffective at others. The offensive line has shown some signs of improvement Authentic Ryan Kelly Jersey , especially along the interior, but the tackle depth is a major weakness. The defense has been very impressive for much of the season, creating pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and making difference-making plays that give the team the opportunity to win football games. The unit has also come up a little short by allowing big drives to get into scoring position late in games. The first and perhaps most important knee-jerk reaction from the Colts and Texans game is that Andrew Luck is completely healthy. All of the chatter and nonsense about hidden issues facing Luck’s throwing shoulder or a lack of arm strength were answered repeatedly today. No quarterback with arm strength or shoulder weakness throws more than 60 times in a ball game including taking numerous deep shots and a ridiculously long hail mary. If Reich was worried about shoulder strength or setbacks, he doesn’t have Luck throw over 60 yards with one second left in regulation. The Colts need to get Zach Pascal more active in the offense every week. This unit lacks a ton of proven talent at wide receiver and Pascal has been a consistent contributor on offense and special teams. Most importantly, he has shown tremendous hands and isn’t dropping key passes at key moments. Nyheim Hines is starting to make his presence felt. He should be rarely used to pick up yards on the ground as a lone running back but he can move all over the field and create the kinds of defensive issues that Reich and Sirianni envisioned when they selected him in the 2018 NFL Draft. It is stunning to think about how far he has come from fumbling away punts in the preseason to looking like a speedy and shifty offensive weapon just 4 weeks into his rookie season. The Colts gave away another winnable game. Remember in Week 1 against the Bengals when Andrew Luck was driving down the field on a would-be game winning drive and Jack Doyle fumbled? Remember when Andrew Luck and the offense had multiple chances to punch the ball into the end zone against the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles but failed to do so? Well, mark down another example of a would-be win in your memory. The Indianapolis Colts defense was legitimately responsible for giving up 17 points to the Texans offense during regulation. Andrew Luck led the offense down the field for 31 offensive points. Unfortunately, a bad snap by Ryan Kelly on the goal line and strip sack given up deep in their own territory on another possession resulted in another 14 points for Houston. Frankly, Indianapolis shouldn’t have been in a position to play for overtime and the Texans should have gone home devastated after a thrashing on the road. Sadly, after an impressive four quarters for the defense, overtime saw the group fail to make big plays when they needed it most. Darius Leonard guessed wrong on a key Deshaun Watson scramble on third down. The pass rush couldn’t land when the defense needed a big play. The secondary Womens Matt Slauson Jersey , safeties in particular, played way too loose in coverage and allowed huge passing plays in front of them to keep drives going.Lastly, the Frank Reich decision to go for a first down on 4th-and-4 in overtime was bad football. If his team of analytics experts played a part in that decision, Reich needs to recognize when football intelligence overrides statistical analysis. This was a game that 1) the Colts really needed to win, 2) they had no business taking to overtime after the offensive disasters of the first half, and 3) has huge implications for the division. You don’t play “aggressive” in your own territory in overtime when a field goal defeats you. Ties may not feel good to a fan base but they will make a difference when tie breakers come into play for playoff consideration later in the year.Unless you don’t care about your chances to make the playoffs, you punt the ball away and take the tie. No-brainer football stuff. Analytics or no.Let’s take a look at how the keys to the game played out against the Texans.Pester Deshaun WatsonFor a second straight week, the Colts found ways to get to the quarterback. There has been a lot of mutually beneficial work happening in the secondary and along the defensive line. Some of the sacks have been due to edge rushers landing with athleticism and speed. Some of the pressure has been the result of excellent coverage from a young secondary. It is certainly fair to recognize that the pass rush is still inconsistent but it is also clear that this group has come a very long way from 2017. The Colts accumulated 7 sacks today, versus 4 given up against J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney with backups at both tackle spots.Red Zone EfficiencyAfter struggling early in the year, it is a relief to see the Colts score in each of their 4 red zone visits. The first half offense was putrid and did not get much of an opportunity to get in Texans territory but once the ball started moving in the second half, things really started to click.Andrew Luck’s Decision-Making and AccuracyThis is perhaps one of the most impressive single game performances of Andrew Luck’s career. He completed 40 of 62 passing attempts for 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. He did this without T.Y. Hilton for a significant portion of the second half and while facing considerable pressure from Houston’s marquee pass rushers J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney.Of Luck’s incompletions Womens Jabaal Sheard Jersey , a half dozen were drops by his receivers. Without those drops, he would have a 75% completion percentage. Other than a couple of passes that were slightly overthrown or underthrown, his accuracy was fantastic. He hit T.Y. Hilton on a 42 yard bomb along the right sideline and threw a hail mary at the end of regulation that went 60 yards down the field.Any suggestion that Andrew Luck’s throwing shoulder is causing a strength issue at this point is comical. His first game back saw him throw over 50 times, this game saw him throw over 60 times and put up a QB rating of over 108. If Luck’s shoulder is causing an issue, it isn’t enough to impact his ability to win football games.Offensive BalanceFrankly, there isn’t any. The Colts have failed to create any threat of a running game and are having to rely entirely on Andrew Luck. Anthony Castonzo’s pending return may play an important role in improving the running game and Robert Turbin’s return from suspension will also help but Frank Reich and Nick Sirianni must find a way to create some balance offensively or Luck will be a sitting duck in the pocket.Slow Down the Texans Pass RushThe offensive line struggled mightily in the first half with J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney. Watt gathered two sacks and was credited with two forced fumbles. Watt beat Le’Raven Clark with speed around the edge. The second half? The coaching staff and offensive linemen made some changes that really slowed things down. Luck ran a quick no-huddle approach that was creating real issues for the Houston defense. It wasn’t until overtime that Clowney was able to land another sack with a stunt to the inside beating Quenton Nelson.Colts Cast: Most surprising, underrated Colts through Week 3 w/Luke Schultheis It’s undeniable that this Indianapolis Colts roster is bringing about some surprises already in this young 2018 season. Nobody expected Darius Leonard to be playing at this level, even if they liked him coming into the season, but he’s not the only one to be turning some heads.Luke Schultheis joined me today to discuss a little bit of everything, including our most surprising Colts on both sides of the ball thus far, our most underrated starters and rotational players and more organic conversation about the state of the team as well. One of the most interesting positions for the Colts has been the tight end room. The position was considered a major strength coming into the season http://www.indianapoliscoltsteamonline.com/margus-hunt-jersey , but the look of the group has taken on a new form in a very short time. Ross Travis was placed on IR, Darrell Daniels was traded to Seattle, and now the Colts have their most prized tight end, Jack Doyle, out and hasn’t practiced yet this week.Luke and Matt briefly discuss the situation surrounding Andrew Luck, the team’s secondary, how Matt Eberflus has used all of his assets on the defense and molded them into a formidable group and much more. This season is going to be a wild ride without question. This was a really fun conversation, Luke was a great guest, and I think you’ll find it interesting as well.

Cowboys news: With all the talk Cheap Terrance Williams Jersey , Finger-Pointing In This Locker Room - David Helman, The MothershipCole Beasley started it off by mentioning the Cowboys receivers are getting open, then Allen Hurns took it a step further by reiterating that point and taking a shot at the play-calling. the state of Minnesota lost a truly legendary football coach.John Sheldon Richardson Jersey Gagliardi, who spent six decades at St. John’s University in Minnesota as the school’s football coach, passed away on Sunday at the age of 91.Gagliardi too over the football program at St. John’s in 1953, and was the head coach of the Johnnies until the 2012 season, when he finally hung up his whistle. In 2003, he passed the legendary Eddie Robinson as the winningest coach in the history of college football (at any level), and finished his college coaching career with a record of 489-138-11. He also won four Division III national championships along the way, and the trophy that the outstanding player in Division III football takes home every year (their equivalent to the Heisman Trophy) was named for Gagliardi in 1993.Gagliardi had an unusual coaching style, from all accounts. This comes from the story that ESPN did on him after his passing was announced earlier on Sunday.Gagliardi’s coaching career actually went all the way back to his high school Dan Bailey Jersey Black Friday , Trinidad High School in Colorado, when he was hired as the coach of the football team at the age of 16. Yes, a sixteen-year old coach. What happened was the team’s regular coach was drafted into military service (for World War II), and was a player-coach in his senior year. He continued coaching high school football while getting his college degree as well.Legendary Minnesota Vikings’ head coach Bud Grant paid tribute to Gagliardi just a short time ago with one simple picture on his Twitter account.Picture from the Twitter account of Bud GrantI’m not sure how many St. John’s alumni we have out there among our readers, but I think that if you’ve spent any time in the state of Minnesota watching football, you know who John Gagliardi was. He had a unique style, and he produced a lot of upstanding young men that went on to do big things after their football careers were done. Our thoughts prayers go out to the family and friends of John Gagliardi in light of John Gagliardi’s passing. If you're still thinking Christian McCaffrey is just

a receiving back Cheap Tyron Smith Jersey , it may be time to reconsider. The Panthers' second-year running back is coming off a perception-changing game on Sunday, rushing for a career-high 184 yards on 28 carries while playing all 67 offensive snaps in a 31-21 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. It was an eye-opening outing for a player who'd never run for more than 66 yards in a game.McCaffrey is third in the league in rushing, 3 yards behind Dallas' Ezekiel Elliott and San Francisco's Matt Breida entering the team's bye weekend and is averaging 5.9 yards per carry. While many consider McCaffrey's greatest strength to be his receiving ability — which is not entirely inaccurate given he set a franchise rookie record with 80 receptions last season and he caught 14 passes for 102 yards in a Week 2 loss to the Falcons — he is proving he can carry the load on the ground, too.The 5-foot-10, 205-pound McCaffrey is motivated to dispel the notion that he can't be an every-down back that can run between the tackles, where he continually gouged the Bengals."It definitely bothers me," McCaffrey said of the perception. "But the more and more I've gone through this league, I learned that it's never been about proving anyone wrong or proving anybody right. Just proving myself right."Panthers coach Ron Rivera has often defended the team's first-round pick in 2017, saying nobody ran between the tackles more in college than McCaffrey."His ability to run the ball inside, he doesn't get enough credit for it," Rivera said.Of course, doing it at Stanford is a lot different than doing it in the NFL where defenders are bigger, faster and stronger. Now it will be up to McCaffrey to prove he can produce consistently as an every-down running back for an entire season, not just one game.Teammates are confident he can."He's obviously not just a receiving back, he's a total running back," Panthers quarterback Cam Newton said. "He shows signs that this is not a fluke Cheap Dak Prescott Jersey , he's been doing this his whole career — collegiately as well as professionally."Rivera shocked some earlier this offseason when he said it would be "ideal" if the Panthers got McCaffrey 25-30 touches per game, similar to how offensive coordinator Norv Turner used LaDainian Tomlinson in San Diego. He had a career-high 30 on Sunday.McCaffrey's 14 catches the week before might have caught the Bengals off guard. They seemed determined to take him away in the passing game, but couldn't stop him on the ground. The fact that McCaffrey commands so much attention as a receiver and a runner is the reason the Panthers never took him out of the game. When he wasn't being used as a ball carrier, he proved to be an effective decoy on all four of Carolina's touchdowns. On one second-quarter play, Newton dropped back and faked a pass to McCaffrey , drawing defenders in that direction, then threw a screen pass back to the other side of the field which C.J. Anderson caught and took 24 yards for a touchdown. On Carolina's other three scores, McCaffrey served as a decoy with fake handoffs going his way to distract the defense, including on both of Newton's TD runs .Panthers center Ryan Kalil said McCaffrey's quickness makes him dangerous — and an ideal player to block for."He has great vision and great patience and he knows how to hit those holes," Kalil said. "He has a lot of pride during the week and it obviously paid off."Said McCaffrey: "I don't think a whole lot as soon as the ball is in my hands. I kind of just try and feel everything out. Once you know where everybody's going, it can kind of slow down for you."The one area where McCaffrey has struggled is near the goal line. He's yet to score a touchdown and has had difficulty moving the pile in short-yardage situations. The Panthers are turning more and more to the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Newton to get the ball into the end zone. But everywhere else, McCaffrey is proving to be hard to stop.McCaffrey is quick to deflect praise to his makeshift offensive line, which has been forced to play without three starters, including second-team All-Pro right tackle Daryl Williams."I think it obviously starts up front," McCaffrey said. "Those guys did an absolute unbelievable job all day getting after their guys and they continue to do it all game long. When we can get in a rhythm running the ball it opens everything up."NFC BEast report: The Cowboys have fallen behind in the division Doom and gloom has been the prevailing theme around the Cowboys’ following the team’s dismal loss to the Seahawks Youth Connor Williams Jersey , so let’s take a look and see how the team’s division foes are faring. The good news is that despite Dallas playing poorly through three weeks they remain only a single game out of first place in the division. Many might scoff at any thoughts of winning the division with this particular team, but I’ll remind everyone of something I wrote two weeks ago:Generally, how teams perform in September is not a good indicator of how they’ll perform in November and December. However, how you perform in September can make how you perform in December meaningless, because the September games count the same. So, looking around, which NFC BEast team has both performed and gotten the best results? Those at the top of the standing: Washington and Philadelphia. The Redskins are a surprise first place team through week three and they’ve earned it. They have the highest points scored and the fewest points allowed. You can quibble about competition but they’ve taken care of business so far. The Eagles’ 2-1 record is somewhat fortuitous. Both wins, at home, required last-minute stops inside their own five-yard line. It’s not the slightest exaggeration to note this team is ten yards away from an 0-3 start. But the Eagles’ got the necessary stop each time and thus share the same 2-1 record as the Redskins. Both the Cowboys and Giants are probably lucky to sit at 1-2 as neither has looked particularly good at any time this season. Playoff oddsAll of the above numbers come from Football Outsider’s DVOA Playoff Odds.I don’t pretend to understand how it all works but it always feels accurate. What these tell us:Mean wins: predicted number of wins at end of season.#1 - #6: likelihood of a team obtaining the number one, two, three, four, five or six seed in the NFC. DIV / BYE / WC: likelihood of winning the division, claiming a first round bye or a wild card spot.TOT: likelihood of making the playoffs in any form. Thus we see Dallas has a 31% chance of making the playoffs while both Philadelphia and Washington sit around 50%. When looked at through the cold, emotionless prism of statistical odds, the Cowboys’ state doesn’t seem so dire. I mean Youth Leighton Vander Esch Jersey , after this start I’d take a one-in-three chance of making the playoffs. Offensive performanceWhew... that stench you smell is the rotting corpse of NFC East offenses, specifically the Cowboys and Giants. But even the Redskins and Eagles aren’t looking very good offensively. None rank higher than 17th in points per game, and three of the four rank in the bottom third of the league in yards per game. We all know the Dallas offense has been abysmal thus far this season and the numbers above illustrate the stark reality: 31st in points, 30th in yards. The Giants are little better. The Eagles are also below average, though, as we’ll see, the return of Carson Wentz provides hope. Defensive performanceHmmmm... that sweet fragrant aroma you now smell comes from the pristine performances of the NFC East’s collective group of defenses. Three of the four teams rank in the top ten in both points and yards allowed. The worst team (Giants) are still above average. Both Dallas and Washington rank in the top five in yards and top seven in points. The Redskins are second in the NFL in both. In short, the NFC East has all four offenses struggling between mediocre and wholly inept and four strong defenses that vary from dominant to good. Now three games is a small sample size and these numbers could look silly by mid-October. But it’s the information we got so far and that’s how the East is looking right now. Washington RedskinsThe Redskins are coming off a convincing 14-point victory over the Green Bay Packers. Adrian Peterson has proven a wise pickup after the injury to Derrius Guice and is on pace for a 1,250 yards, 16 touchdown season. Alex Smith has been efficient with 8.0 yards per attempt and a 102 quarterback rating. The defense has generated seven sacks and eight turnovers in three games. The Redskins have a bye this week before traveling to New Orleans for a “show me” game against the high-powered Saints. Philadelphia EaglesIf the Eagles are to be the first team to repeat as NFC East division champions since 2004, they’ll have to give thanks for two late-game stops that preserved narrow home victories in weeks one and three. As noted, without those stops this team would be 0-3 and full-fledged panic would no doubt be the mood in Philly. The reality is they played better than the score indicated Sunday against the Colts. The return of Carson Wentz didn’t result in massive point totals but the offense did put up 379 yards. In fact, the offense has averaged 400 yards the last two games after only 232 yards in the team’s season-opener. Alshon Jeffery was a full participant in practice today and should help the offense even more. Darren Sproles and Jay Ajayi, however, are not likely to play Sunday. The defense, meanwhile Youth Taco Charlton Jersey , rebounded nicely after getting diced up by Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Indy was held to only 209 total yards, including 141 yards passing. They were unable to generate any turnovers, however. The Eagles travel to Tennessee Sunday; if they win as expected they’ll set themselves up nicely with a 3-1 record. The following week, however, they’ll face the Vikings in a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game. Dallas CowboysThere’s not a lot to add about the Cowboys’ that hasn’t already been exhaustively covered on BTB. We know the offense is challenged and might not get any better (in which case this is a lost season). If, however, the offense can improve to at least average this team can sneak into the playoffs. The defense is that good. The one area the defense needs to improve is generating turnovers. Despite 11 sacks in three games and a dynamic, play-making front-7 the team has only two turnovers in three games. They are on pace to match the historically inept 2015 squad in terms of turnovers caused. That has to change for this team to have any hope this season. Matt Stafford represents the most potent quarterback this defense has faced thus far and should be a good measure of whether this defense is for real or a mirage. The Giant offense finally got untracked Sunday, recording 379 yards and 27 points, which was a dramatic improvement over their prior two games when they recorded 28 points combined. Saquon Barkley looks every bit the franchise running back he was advertised to be. Eli Manning isn’t returning to his glory days again but he can be moderately effective as long as he avoids mistakes. The problem is, unlike the three other East defenses, the Giants’ defense isn’t all that great. They gave up 427 yards Sunday to the Texans. They’ve recorded only four sacks and three turnovers through three games. That defense will be thoroughly tested Sunday when they face off against a Saints’ team that averages 35 points and 428 yards per game. The upcoming week is a kind of “moving” week for the NFC. Both Philly and Washington will be looking to create space between themselves and their competitors while Dallas and New York hope to avoid falling into a two-game hole.

Cowboys OC plans to shorten rotation at receivers for

Lions game & that’s a great place to start The Cowboys are implementing “some changes” on offense after they have fallen into offensive purgatory early in the season. Scott Linehan and Dak Prescott at least know that what they have been trying isn’t working. So http://www.cowboyscheapauthenticstore.com/chris-jones-jersey-cheap , the offensive coordinator has decided to look at his roster that seemingly has 1,000 receivers and tighten up the rotation. For the first three games, six of the seven receivers on the roster have worked their way in and out of the lineup. Now, they have had some bright moments, like this one to Tavon Austin in week two’s win over the Giants (remember how fun that was?!).Then there was this one to the same guy even though it was during the middle of a terrrible game. These ‘moments’ have been really rare to find in an offense that has rarely found success lately. Scott Linehan is well aware of the angry mob steadily approaching “The Star” since this ‘slump’ started 11 games ago. He’s also well aware that in his 16-year NFL career calling offenses, he’s had a Top-10 offense in one area or another in 12 of them. Now, he faces a tough task of getting back to what worked for his personnel. That’s why tightening up the receiving rotation is a great place to start with the Detroit Lions’ number-one ranked pass defense coming to town.A few days ago, we noted the passing offense being in such rough shape because there just hasn’t been much of a plan at receiver. The Cowboys have done more to take away from their passing game than help it. There has been no rhythm because there is literally no rhythm in how or when they deploy their receivers. Right now, Ezekiel Elliott and Geoff Swaim are technically the two pass catchers in snap percentage, over 90% for both. In targets, it’s Elliott (1st) and Swaim (4th). In receptions, Elliott (2nd) and Swaim (4th) again though both guys are the two lowest in yards per catch. Here is what the snap counts and production look like from just the receivers on this team:PlayerSnap Pct. (Rank)Targets (Rank)Rec (Rank)Rec. Yards (Rank)TDOne thing that stands out is hopefully what Linehan is talking about Cheap Sean Lee Jersey , and that’s getting a consistent rotation going. What happened to trading for Tavon Austin and “having a plan” for him? Austin has been one of the only bright spots in their struggles to find a passing rhythm. Terrance Williams has primarily been getting snaps as a run blocker with zero targets in the passing game in week three. Now, they are preparing to possibly lose Williams for a stretch so they added Brice Butler to the mix. The coaches have to decide which guys are going to be most productive and use them against the Lions. Do you remember that NFL clich茅 about quarterbacks: If you have two of them, you don’t have a quarterback? Well, how about if you have seven receivers, you probably don’t have a chance for a clean passing game? When you’re facing off against guys like Quandre Diggs, Darius Slay, and Glover Quinn, a plan is going to be needed. You can’t make it as easy for the defense. When you don’t have the respect of the defense for your receivers, you must find ways to earn it. You probably want to start with the most important question:What mismatches do the Cowboys have that they can use?A.) Short-area quickness/Speed- Tavon Austin, Deonte Thompson, and Cole BeasleyB.) Size & Athleticism - Rico Gathers, Michael Gallup Youth Joe Looney Jersey , Allen HurnsC.) YAC potential - All of the above if used correctlyIt’s about finding a rhythm between your quarterback and his receivers that can be efficient. It’s unlikely that the Cowboys are going walk into this matchup and dominate this Lions defense at what they do best, cover the pass. At the same time, you have to find ways for a more efficient passing game. Linehan and Dak have said that they have added more wrinkles to the offense but what could that mean?Well, hopefully it means much less Air-Coryell and vertical routes that don’t really fit the personnel. In order to create some success in the passing game, they will need to think more along the lines of the West Coast or Spread concepts. Try more underneath routes or rub routes. Heck, why not some pick plays? You run the risk of getting caught but check outhow these pick plays have worked for the Saints and Patriots. Why use Rico Gathers as a blocker when you can run him on a crossing pattern? Most of all, get Dak Prescott comfortable using play-action. This should be a great game for the Cowboys to establish the run, against a Lions defense that surrenders 149 rushing yards per game, which is 32nd in the league. If Scott Linehan is looking to tighten up his receiving corps, then that’s good news for the offense. Pick a few that the quarterback can start building chemistry with instead of having six guys with no chemistry. With as bad as this Lions run defense seems to be, the Cowboys don’t have to pass their way to victory. It’s just important for them to find something that resembles an efficient NFL passing offense, do that and they just might find themselves in the win column. The Cowboys have lost consecutive games for the first time this season and that’s not so good to hear. Monday night’s dropped game against the Tennessee Titans is going to sting for a while. There was a lot of energy to the Cowboys early on in the game http://www.cowboyscheapauthenticstore.com/geoff-swaim-jersey-cheap , but it all disappeared and they were never able to re-capture it. This is something that just about every Cowboy talked about in the locker room after the contest, and we’ve got the audio for you to listen to it yourself. Check out the latest episode of BTB’s OchoLive with the sounds from that very locker room.On this episode you’ll hear from Jerry Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Byron Jones, Tyrone Crawford, and Jaylon Smith. They all discuss energy, Zeke talks about getting things together quickly, and Crawford notes that officiating has been sub-par for the last few weeks. We’ve got tons of great shows for you on the BTB podcast feed.
