Cowboys offense? The Dallas Cowboys are trying to do everything they can to revamp their receiving group. With an offseason filled with additions and subtractions Authentic Chris Jones Jersey , the team is certainly taking a different approach in how they go about putting together their roster. While we all debated about which five guys would make the cut, the team ultimately ended up rolling with six wide receivers:Cole BeasleyTerrance WilliamsAllen HurnsMichael GallupTavon AustinDeonte ThompsonAnd let’s not forget that they still have second-year receiver Noah Brown on injured reserve. Now, the Cowboys are adding a seventh wide receiver to the team as Brice Butler is re-joining the band. But the addition of Butler doesn’t exactly have fans jumping out of their seat. In his five years in the league, he’s caught 73 passes for 1,177 yards with eight touchdowns. He averaged just over a catch a game with the Cowboys so it’s not like he’s going to be a big difference-maker.Butler gives the team another deep option, which let’s face it - the Cowboys desperately need so they are able to attack down the field. In two of his three seasons with Dallas, he’s averaged over 21 yards per catch, which indicates what type of role he can have on this team. So, is seven the lucky number when it comes to success for the Cowboys passing attack? Well, when it comes to yards per attempt for Dak Prescott, seven is definitely the magic number. The Cowboys have never lost a regular season game when Dak averages over seven yards per attempt. They are a perfect 18-0. This speaks to the importance of being able to throw the ball down the field. That’s where Butler’s services will come in handy. He has a good rapport with Prescott already and can step in and help stretch the field. He has the speed to get down the field and the length to go up and get if Dak gives it the old heave-ho. It’s a formula that has worked in the past. But the signing of Butler isn’t necessarily the answer to the Cowboys passing attack as the team is still trying to sort that out. While seven may be lucky in some ways, eight might be the real lucky number. As in...eight different players catching the ball for Dak.The Cowboys have a good sample of winning with Prescott under center when he’s been able to spread the ball around to at least eight different players. Last year, he wasn’t able to do that as he was targeting Dez Bryant too much. And so far this season, he’s fell just short as well.In each of the first two games, he’s only hit seven. You’d think with six receivers being active and Ezekiel Elliott good for at least one catch, it wouldn’t be too hard to reach eight different guys. In Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers, Geoff Swaim caught a pass, but Tavon Austin was the odd-man out for the receivers as he never caught a pass. On Sunday against the New York Giants, the Cowboys made sure to get Austin involved and all six receivers caught a pass. Only this time, not a single tight end had a reception. That’s not to say the Cowboys are going to keep all seven receivers active (they might though) and that everyone’s getting a little love from Dak. But what it’s saying is the coaching staff recognizes this unit as a work in progress and they are being diligent in trying to get better. That didn’t mean they were going to panic and make a move for Josh Gordon, but they’re always churning. It’s not always easy to have faith in this organization when it comes to roster moves as they’ve made some really questionable decisions recently, but let’s not forget the track record this front office has. Many of us got scared when they remodeled the secondary and that group keeps getting better with each new day. Byron Jones and Chidobe Awuzie are flat-out outstanding and nobody seems to worried about Jeff Heath and Kavon Frazier holding down the fort at safety. In fact all the head scratching, Jaylon-drafting, Taco-picking decisions the team has made in recent years is starting to look pretty darn good. I’d say they’ve earned the right to be given the benefit of the doubt with what they’re doing with their receivers. Let’s see where this goes. From fake punts to a field goal fest, here are five things to watch when the Cowboys host the Jaguars Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the Dallas Cowboys offense, they now have to go against the best defense in the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars are laced with great defensive players. Everywhere you look Youth Terrance Williams Jersey , they have playmakers. Six of their eleven starters made the Pro Bowl last season - Jalen Ramsey (CB), A.J. Bouye (CB), Calais Campbell (DE), Malik Jackson (DT), Yannick Ngakoue (DE), and Telvin Smith (LB). The Cowboys offense has a huge challenge this week.Fortunately for Dallas, the Jaguars offense isn’t very good and the way the Cowboys are playing defense means they have a shot. It’s going to come down to which defense lets up first, and that could be all it takes to come away with a win. The Cowboys will have to scratch and claw if they want to beat the cats and get back to .500 for the year. Here are five things to watch on Sunday.1. Who wins on early downs? Both the Cowboys and Jaguars will try to keep their quarterback in manageable third-down situations. This means the running game will be an essential part of the offense. Both teams are solid against the run. The absence of Sean Lee does not appear to be hindering the Cowboys run defense as they are ranked fifth in the league, giving up 3.4 yards per rushing attempt. Both Jaylon Smith and rookie Leighton Vander Esch have looked sharp going sideline to sideline chasing down ball carriers. The Jaguars are ranked 13th, allowing 4.0 yards per attempt. They have a couple strong linebackers themselves in Telvin Smith and Myles Jack. The team that more effectively stops the run is going to have an edge in this one. Here is how each defense has looked against the opposing team’s top running back in each game so far:There is one running back that has played against both teams and that is New York Giants Saquon Barkley. While Dallas did a better job shutting him down as a rusher, Barkley still was quite effective as a receiver. The Jaguars are without their star running back Leonard Fournette as he’s been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury all season. Instead, the Jags will throw out T.J. Yeldon. He’s been giving them roughly 50 yards a game this year, but he’s also toppled over 45 yards receiving in each of the last three games. The Cowboys should be able to stop Yeldon when he’s rushing, but they’ll also need to keep him contained as a receiving back as well so they can get off the field. For Jacksonville, they will be tasked with stopping the NFL’s leading rusher, Ezekiel Elliott. With the Cowboys offense not exhibiting any threat of a passing attack, Elliott will be facing loaded boxes all game. The Houston Texans went all-in in stopping Zeke on Sunday night and it worked as he only mustered 54 yards on 20 carries. It was the second-lowest yards per attempt average of his career, with last year’s Denver debacle holding down the worst spot. The Jaguars have the no. 1 passing defense in the league, but their run defense isn’t as dominant. Even though the Jags will be ready for it, the Cowboys must find a way to get the ground game going.2. Which QB can take care of the ball the best? Both teams are going to try to keep things simple for their quarterback. A good running game will certainly help, but look for both teams to attack with some quick, short passes. It’s not what we want to see, but this is how these teams operate.Dak Prescott just isn’t throwing the ball down the field. He’s more comfortable with short to intermediate passes where he can get the ball out before any sign of pressure shows up. Prescott’s had four picks on the year, but all of them have come off of deflections. That’s not to say he doesn’t make errant throws at times. He does. But he’s just not that reckless.Blake Bortles, on the other hand, can be absolutely dreadful at times. He has thrown seven picks on the year http://www.cowboysauthorizedshops.com/authentic-jeff-heath-jersey , including four last week against the Kansas City Chiefs.Bortles had five turnovers total and the Jags were routed by KC. The good news for him is that he’s doesn’t need to throw the ball 61 times like he did last week. There isn’t going to be a shootout in Texas. A clean, well-managed passing attack should be enough to get it done this week. The Cowboys defense got their first interception of the year last week against the Texans. There could be a duck floating around here and there if Bortles is off his game. If that happens, the defense must make sure they come away with the football.3. Watch out for a fake puntIn a game where points could be scarce, don’t be surprised if someone tries to steal a possession by means of a fake punt. The Cowboys have pulled this off in each of the last two seasons as punter Chris Jones has scampered off for big games against the Philadelphia Eagles (2016) and Oakland Raiders (2017). It was a risky move considering both times they were deep in their own territory. The offense had been struggling and the Cowboys saw an opportunity so they pounced. While the Cowboys are good with their fakes, the Jaguars take it to a whole new level. Special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis has a hat full of tricks and isn’t afraid to use them. Whether they run it, pass it, or even work in a jet sweep, the Jaguars will find creative ways to run a fake. And stealing a possession is not the only way their aggressive nature can help them in a game. Just the threat of a fake can make a big difference. After the Jags successfully executed a fake against the Colts last year, they also benefited by flipping the field later in the game as it set up the Jaguars ability to pin them deep. The Cowboys have benefited from this as well as Chris Jones threw a pass to Brice Butler in the game against the Atlanta Falcons last year. While Butler got called for offensive pass interference and the play was negated, Jones was able to pin the Falcons back at the two-yard line on the very next play.Whether it’s pinning a team inside the 10-yard line or something big like a fake that leads to points, this type of play could be the difference maker.4. Kickers duelWith both teams struggling on offense and playing well on defense, this game has all the making of a low-scoring affair. It could turn into a chess match where field position looms large in determining the winner. Usually, when the Cowboys field goal unit trots on the field, it’s a sign of defeat as another drive stalls out. Nobody likes seeing that happen. But for this game, field goals might be a reason to celebrate as every point counts. The Jaguars boast one of the best red zone defenses in the league, only giving up a touchdown 33% of the time (ranked second). At the same time, their offense is one of the worst in converting as they are only successful 38% of the time (ranked 30th).The Cowboys are in a similar boat. The defense is strong in the red zone, only giving up touchdowns 41% of the time (ranked seventh), whereas their offense is terrible, only finding the end zone on 41% of the time (ranked 29th).Both teams also have great kickers. The Cowboys new 29-year-old rookie kicker is 11 for 12 so far this season. The Jags kicker is a perfect 8 for 8 on the year. Both kickers have knocked down their lone attempt from 50+ yards.Last week was a field goal fest as seven of the nine scores of the game were field goals. With the Jaguars having a better defense and worse offense than the Texans, this one could end up very similar.5. Reuniting with an old friendEveryone knows that Barry Church is now a member of this elite Jacksonville defense. He’ll be ready to make plays against his former team. While Church get his licks in, the Cowboys will need to exploit another former teammate - Jaguars right tackle Jeremy Parnell.Parnell spent his first four seasons in Dallas after going undrafted in 2011. He only started two games over his first three seasons in the league. Injuries to the Cowboys offensive line allowed Parnell to make five starts during his final season with the team. It was good enough to land a five-year, $32 deal with the Jaguars.Bortles was sacked five times last week as Dee Ford (who now leads the league in pressures) had his way with Parnell. Watch him go around Parnell (78) like he wasn’t even there.Parnell will now draw his former teammate, DeMarcus Lawrence, who is having a good year. The Cowboys defensive end is tied for fourth with pressures and can make a run for the top spot if he can dominate Parnell like Ford did. What will you be watching for on Sunday?

Scott Linehan’s affinity for his pupil is well-chronicled and many have noted how Moore’s skills in the classroom can be valuable. Moore had been a bit of a player-coach before for the Cowboys while serving as the backup and then practice squad quarterback Authentic Leighton Vander Esch Jersey , so his switch from shoulder pads to QBs coach polo wasn’t terribly shocking. Last week in Carolina was his rookie debut with a headset on in a meaningful game and Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was unimpressive. Dak spoke to the local media on Thursday and he offered some interesting comments in regards to Linehan and Moore’s roles when he trots back to the sideline. He begins at the 7:15 mark if you want to listen for yourself. This is definitely interesting and not necessarily something you hear every day regarding an NFL team. Scott Linehan recently made the switch from being on the sideline himself to coaching from the booth, but he can surely communicate with Dak on his own. Why does there need to be a mediator when Dak is on the sideline? If you’re wondering what the deal is with all of this yourself, Dak did offer a bit more of an explanation when asked a follow-up question. He’s able to communicate with Scott Linehan if he absolutely needs to, but it seems like it is generally Moore who is the middle piece in the game of telephone. This is definitely something new for the Cowboys as Kellen Moore has never been a coach before this season. Why does it need to be the case? Obviously the coaching staff thinks it’s what works best. It does seem different, though.Dak only mentioned the sideline specifically as far as how this communication is structured Youth Deonte Thompson Jersey , so it’s unclear if there is any middleman during the on-field play-calling, or just how that structure is arranged. Hopefully whatever Linehan is sending through Kellen Moore to Dak Prescott on the sideline works a lot better this Sunday. We’re all depending on that.

Bryan Broaddus tells us: As the Cowboys prepare to play NFC East rival Washington, they are practicing at the Star. Coach Jason Garrett met with the media on Thursday to update everyone on the latest Cowboys news. (All Garrett answers are paraphrased and not actual quotes.)Communication is a buzz word of every minute of every dayCommunication has been discussed a lot by the Cowboys lately, and Jason Garrett definitely knows the importance of it. He noted that it exists all throughout football games and that they need to get everybody on the same page.Jason Garrett did mention that communication gets challenged when you go on the road, but he talked about how they use crowd noise to simulate some of that because they recognize its importance. He said some of the bad plays in road games recently came from communication issues and not having all the guys working together. There hasn’t necessarily been a “Jaylon is back” momentJaylon Smith has been one of the stories of the season so far for the Cowboys, but Jason Garrett noted that there hasn’t exactly been a singular moment where everyone knew he was back (Eli Manning disagrees). Garrett said it was a great moment just to see him playing in a game last season, although obviously Jaylon wasn’t playing at this level a year ago.Garrett did acknowledge that things got better for Jaylon when he took the brace off over the offseason http://www.dallascowboysteamonline.com/geoff-swaim-jersey , and that’s something that makes a lot of sense. He noted that his work around the goal line in the Texans game was special.Did Dr. Cooper play a big role in taking Jaylon Smith?ESPN’s Todd Archer asked one of the more interesting questions of the Jaylon Smith time period in Dallas, whether or not the Cowboys would have taken Jaylon Smith had Dr. Cooper not been the one that performed his surgery. Obviously Jason Garrett didn’t bite on this, but he did say that there were a number of factors that went into selecting him. He did say Dr. Cooper is so trusted that his word on the situation was a big influence, and that they went through all the plus and minuses.Sean Lee made a good progression on WednesdayThis is good news for The General, and Jason Garrett did note that the Cowboys would have to be mindful of the number of snaps Sean Lee could in fact see. He emphasized that they still have to see how Lee progresses throughout the week before deciding on if he plays. He was firm that they can now rest Lee some in games because of the play of Jaylon and LVE.Chidobe Awuzie is also progressingCoach noted he had a good day yesterday.David Irving is at the Star and will practiceCoach said Irving is at the facility and will practice. when someone asked about Irving saying he “didn’t have his legs” yet, coach said that will come because he practices hard.Dak Prescott’s running ability is a decision that he has to makeZone reads are part of what everybody wants to see the Cowboys continue to employ. Jason Garrett acknowledged that “many” of Dak’s 11 runs against Jacksonville were scrambles as opposed to designed runs. He said maybe 4-5 were zone reads which is pretty normal. The Cowboys like “eight guys up” along the defensive lineWe’ve seen Dallas utilize a lot of players along the defensive front and Jason Garrett reaffirmed that this is what they want to do. Rod Marinelli certainly likes having platoons of people ready to go, and that’s exactly what the Hot Boyz are. Garrett noted it keeps them fresh to rotate them but they do give some players more snaps, but in the Jacksonville game they didn’t have a lot of overall snaps on defense since they forced three-and-outs and they controlled the clock. Dak Prescott is a good runnerWhen it comes to Dak Prescott running the ball he obviously has to be careful with it (like anyone). Asked whether or not they teach Dak techniques to slide or get out of bounds to any degree Jason Garrett did acknowledge that during his rookie year there were times he’d run to his left and stiff-arm players with his right arm and that they cautioned him against that. He said sometimes it’s hard since Dak is so competitive but they want him to get out of bounds or to slide after maximizing the run. No word from Tavon Austin’s second opinion It looked like he had a rough time on his plane ride, though. There are similarities in the “competitive spirit” between Ezekiel Elliott and Adrian PetersonJason Garrett didn’t want to get into comparing Zeke and Peterson Authentic Ezekiel Elliott Jersey , but he did note that they both have an extreme competitive spirit and will to finish plays. Jordan Reed looks like he’s backAccording to Jason Garrett, Jordan Reed is hard to guard. We all agree.Alex Smith does the things at the quarterback position that “help his teams win”Jason Garrett shared that when he was coaching in Miami in 2005 that they held the number two overall pick when Alex Smith went number one to San Francisco. He talked about getting to know Smith in that time and how one of his biggest takeaways was that he always had success in that he was a quarterback who helped his teams win. Sounds simple enough.Jeff Heath is a very productive playerGOAT.In all seriousness, Jason Garrett did discuss how Jeff Heath has seemingly always found a way to be around the ball. We’ve definitely seen Heath make plays over his career with that unique ability, he’s a special player in that regard.

Jason Garrett is on the hot seat Dallas Cowboys Womens Hoodie , and the Cowboys’ head coach appears unconcerned.“very day,” Garrett said Tuesday when asked about his job status.Cowboys owner Jerry Jones ruled out an in-season coaching change after Monday night’s loss to the Titans. The Cowboys are two games behind Washington and one back of Philadelphia, their opponent this week, in the NFC East.“Absolutely,” Garrett said when asked if the Cowboys had a chance to turn it around. “We just have to focus on what we need to do. We just have to clean up the game and we have to get our eyes on Philadelphia right now.”Garrett signed a five-year, $30 million extension in January 2015, keeping him under contract through the 2019 season. He has a 70-58 record since taking over for Wade Phillips in the middle of the 2010 season. The Cowboys have three winning seasons, two playoff appearances and one playoff win under Garrett. The Carolina Panthers will once again have to figure out the best way to replace the injured Greg Olsen. The three-time Pro Bowl tight end injured his right foot in the first half of Carolina's 16-8 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and spent the second half looking on from the sideline on crutches with his foot in a boot. It's the same foot Olsen fractured in Week 2 last year. That injury kept him out of nine games and ended his streak of three straight 1,000-yard seasons.Olsen was not available for comment after the game and coach Ron Rivera said he didn't know the extent of the injury.Panthers general manager Marty Hurney said the team should know more on Monday, but Olsen's teammates made it sound like the 33-year-old won't be returning anytime soon.Panthers center Ryan Kalil said Olsen was "pretty upset" after the game."I feel bad for him Womens Customized Dallas Cowboys Jerseys ," Kalil said. "He works incredibly hard, he cares a vast amount. He does a nice job, and he was out doing his job for his team, and it breaks my heart for him. Hopefully he gets some good news."The Panthers will likely turn to rookie Ian Thomas as their starting tight end, although Cam Newton suggested the front office might need to make a roster move to add a tight end."You guys know how I feel about Greg, you can't ever replace him, his professionalism that he brings to the game, his overall outlook, his IQ, his understanding www.cowboyscheapauthenticstore.com ," Newton said.If history is any indication, running back Christian McCaffrey will see more balls thrown his way with Olsen out. McCaffrey was used as Newton's safety valve last season and finished with a franchise rookie record 80 receptions. The Panthers also lost right tackle Daryl Williams to a knee injury, although the severity is not known.Things we learned from Carolina's win over Dallas:KICKING TALK: Cowboys fans still angry about the team's decision to release Dan Bailey, the NFL's second-most accurate field goal kicker in history, will have more ammunition this week.Replacement Brett Maher missed his only field goal attempt from 47 yards wide to the right. It came late in the third period with Dallas trailing 10-0.Intermittent rain made for a sloppy field at Bank of America Stadium on a windy afternoon, conditions Maher brushed off."I know what my job is," Maher said. "My role on this team is to go out there and when I get a chance, put points on the board. I didn't do that today."REPLACING GREGORY: Randy Gregory's return to football didn't last long. The Cowboys defensive end, who missed the 2017 season because of multiple violations of the league's substance abuse policy, left the game in the first half with a concussion. The league could reportedly rule on another possible substance-abuse related suspension as early as this week.Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said he had no comment on those reports.CHASING HIM DOWN: The fact that the Panthers sacked Dak Prescott six times bodes well for the Carolina defense Dallas Cowboys T-Shirt , given he's an elusive quarterback."We know he's a scrambling quarterback and we know he likes to get out of the pocket," Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson said. "There were some times he got out and escaped but overall, the D-line did a phenomenal job keeping him in the pocket."Prescott finished 19 of 29 for 170 yards, but just a 8.9-yard average and two completions of more than 15 yards.McCAFFREY'S TOUCHES: Panthers coach Ron Rivera said in ideal world McCaffrey would touch the ball "25-30 times per game" this season. But the versatile second-year back only got his hands on the football 16 times for 95 yards on Sunday.McCaffrey rushed 10 times for 50 yards, with a long of 15, and caught six passes for 45 yards. Newton targeted him a total of nine times in the passing game.McCaffrey's first carry, from the Dallas 5 in the first quarter and with the game still scoreless, resulted in a fumble that was recovered by Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence."It can't happen, but it's football," McCaffrey said.FULLBACK WEAPON: The Panthers might have a new goal line weapon in fullback Alex Armah Dallas Cowboys Hats , who scored on a 1-yard plunge on his first NFL carry.Armah's number was called after C.J. Anderson's 9-yard run to within two feet of the goal line. The second-year pro out of Division II West Georgia said he wasn't surprised to get the carry in his 10th career game."I was just ready," said Armah, who primarily played special teams a year ago. "I wasn't too nervous because we practice it during the week. We go over it, so I really just tried to get into the end zone."Once he did, Armah chose not to give the ball away despite Newton's pleading with him. He wanted to keep it to mark the milestone."I don't blame him," Rivera said.AP stringers Eli Pacheco and Justin Parker contributed to this report.

Cowboys injury list is long Cheap Demarcus Lawrence Jersey , but not many expected to miss Texans gameboys and Houston Texans have released their first injury report leading up to their Sunday night game.Ezekiel Elliott was limping during the win over the Detroit Lions, but told reporters he not only was fine, he said he felt better than most weeks. He was a full participant today. Jeff Heath and Tavon Austin were also full participants after taking hits that kept them off the field for part of that game, which is a good sign that they will be ready to go.DeMarcus Lawrence is the biggest concern among the limited participants, but there is very little chance he will miss the Texans game unless something unexpected transpires. Cole Beasley, Maliek Collins, Chidobe Awuzie, and Antwaun Woods were also limited. They all will be players to watch as game day draws closer, but most should be ready to go if they are getting some work now. Collins is the biggest question mark as he was inactive last week, and we don’t know how close he is to getting back into the lineup. Having both him and Woods show up as limited might put a little extra pressure on David Irving, just now back from his four-game suspension. The question for him is how good is his conditioning after the layoff, during which he reportedly was more focused on getting right with his substance abuse issue. Travis Frederick and Sean Lee are expected to miss at least another week Youth Jaylon Smith Jersey , while Terrance Williams’ status remains a bit of a mystery, since his absence is reportedly due to “personal issues” which still have not been disclosed. For Houston, Jadeveon Clowney and J.J. Watt are two big names to watch, since they are such a big part of the pass rush. Watt has fought through a lot of injury issues in his career, and this week is not likely to be any different. The Texans are also dealing with a lot of issues around their cornerbacks and wide receivers, and they are shallow at both, only carrying five of each. Having hamstrings involved for two WRs is always concerning, and a DNP with the corners is certainly not helpful. We’ll keep you updated with developments as they occur. There was plenty of anger among the fanbase when the Cowboys gave the Oakland Raiders a first-round draft pick to acquire Amari Cooper. You can say a lot about the decisions the front office has made over recent years, but one thing they could always hang their hats on it how remarkably good they’ve been at selecting talent on Day 1 of the draft. In the Jason Garrett era, the Cowboys have picked three All-Pro offensive linemen, an All-Pro running back star in Ezekiel Elliott, and two young defensive stars in Byron Jones and Leighton Vander Esch who could be on their way to earning All-Pro status as well. That is just some gold-star drafting right there. So naturally, it’s a little disappointing to realize that the team won’t have a crack at landing another star next April. But the Cowboys brain-trust doesn’t see it that way. They believe that Amari Cooper has all the talent of a first-round player (after all http://www.cowboyscheapauthenticstore.com/jeff-heath-jersey-cheap , he was selected fourth overall) and possesses the traits they are looking for help their offense be successful. It’s still early, but it appears they might have gotten this one right. With two games under his belt, let’s examine what Cooper brings to the Cowboys. The separationThe ability to create space from the defender is one of the things Cooper has done best, even going back to his college days at Alabama. His route-running has been praised quite a bit, but Cowboys fans are now witnessing what that can for the offense. Dak Prescott is still figuring things out and one of his problems is that he tends to shy away from targets that aren’t wide open. I don’t know if it’s a lack of trust he has in himself or his receivers, but Prescott will pass up on certain targets and settle for something shorter around less traffic. Laying up short all the time will get you nowhere. With Cooper, we don’t have to worry about that. He’s one of the best in the business when it comes to creating separation, which is just what his new quarterback needs.Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby tore his ACL on that play.Cooper had a modest six catches for 75 yards, but it could have been even more if Prescott was on target with more of his throws. There were a handful of times where Amari had his man beat, but Dak missed him.The chain-moverNot only does Cooper give his quarterback an open target to fire at, he makes his receptions really count. Bob Sturm pointed out how he’s been a first-down machine. And our own Michael Strawn gives us a nice little statistical before and after.Cooper’s space between the defender gives him more room to run, but watch how he goes north for the sticks. And even when it looks like he’s going to be stopped short, he still finds a way to get the first down. The right kind of guyIt’s cliche Youth Brett Maher Jesey , I know - but we can’t undervalue what it means to have a player who approaches the game the right way. The guy is humble, he’s not flashy, he’s just an all-around great guy.Players like this are not only dependable, but they are able to keep their focus even when things aren’t going so well. Cooper is not going to be throwing a fit on the sidelines or bark about how he wants the ball more. All these attributes paint a picture and that picture was apparently beautiful enough to sway the front office to do something they haven’t done in a while - surrender that coveted first-round draft capital. Instead of being disappointed the team doesn’t have a shot at another first-round gem in 2019, we should embrace that we get our gem a little early. It might have looked like a panic move because the Cowboys needed some big help at the wide receiver position, but from what we’ve seen so far - they’re getting what they paid for. He’s a talented player, a good teammate, and he just goes out there and does his job. And so far, he’s doing it pretty well. Nice to have you aboard, Amari.

ys punt it back in OT http://www.cowboyscheapauthenticstore.com/antwaun-woods-jersey-cheap , Texans kick the field goal sending Dallas to 2-3 OVERTIMECowboys win the toss and elect to receive but after failing to pick up a 3rd and 1, they punt it back to the Texans. Watson finds Hopkins, who runs for 27 yards after three Cowboys fail to tackle him, the Texans can end it on a field goal. Just flat out depressing.Fourth QuarterAfter a great punt return from Tavon Austin, the Cowboys line gets pinched and Dak goes down. It’s 3rd and 14, Cowboys can’t convert, they punt it back but DeMarcus Lawrence gets to Watson as he throws...INTERCEPTION...Xavier Woods! This game is headed to overtime!Remember Romodini...Well, take a look at this DAKTAKULAR play!!! They can’t get the conversion but Brett Maher drills another to tie it up at 16. Cowboys defense gets off the field and the offense will get the ball with under four minutes to play. After Byron Jones gets called for a PI in the end zone, the Texans try a run on 1st and goal...nope. On 2nd and goal Watson tries to sneak it...not happening. Then on 3rd and goal, pass incomplete. Texans are turned away from six and settle for three. Texans lead Cowboys 16-13. That’s the Cowboys third goal-line stop of the night.Dak takes off to gain nine-yards to make it 3rd and manageable but Deonte Thompson can’t complete the catch. The Receivers have been no help to Dak Prescott tonight. Cowboys punt it back to Houston and then the Texans pick up a first down on third down thanks to a Randy Gregory penalty.Third QuarterEzekiel Elliott pops off two nice runs but one is called back because of a Connor Williams holding call. We head to the fourth quarter tied at 13.On the Cowboys ensuing drive, a really questionable challenge by Jason Garrett, which he loses. Dak Prescott is sacked on third down by Jadeveon Clowney. Cowboys and Texans exchange quick punts.Thankfully, this defense came to play, Byron Jones contests the fade to DeAndre Hopkins and Leighton Vander Esch keeps them out of the end zone. Texans tie up the game with a field goal.Every single interception that Dak has thrown has been off the hands of his receivers. You can blame Dak for placement but if it hits your hands...come on...knock it down, maybe? Something, fellas! The Cowboys get a favorable penalty that gives them possession at the 20 but then...ball bounces off Thompson’s hands and it’s intercepted by Justin Reid...or was it? Sorry, Dez Bryant but the ball can hit the ground now.Ezekiel Elliott takes the screen to the Houston-7, a few short plays later, Dak Prescott to Allen Hurns TOUCHDOWN! Cowboys lead 13-10.On 3rd and 3, Anthony Brown forces DeAndre Hopkins to FUMBLE, Jourdan Lewis returns it to the Houston-16.HalftimeTexans 10, Cowboys 6Second QuarterWatson finds DeAndre Hopkins over the middle, did he score? Nope Cheap Ezekiel Elliott Jersey , Jeff Heath drops him at the one. On 4th and goal, Watson keeps it but Jaylon Smith lays him out for the huge goal-line stand. No points was a savior for the Cowboys, down four at the half!Right at the 2:00 minute warning, the Cowboys sneak it on 4th and inches after a questionable spot. Dak looking for Tavon Austin is a tad high, it’s tipped and picked by Houston. Tavon should have made that catch but alas no points for the Cowboys. Texans have a shot to score before the half and are in the red zone on a big run by Alfred Blue.Texans take the ball down the field after Xavier Woods is called for a personal foul. Daniel Ross blows up the pocket on 3rd and Goal, Texans settle for the FG, Texans up 10-6.Cowboys start at their own 25, Ezekiel Elliott breaks off a 14-yard run, then Dak runs for six more. La’el Collins gets a false start on 2nd and 4 but the Cowboys get the five back on an offsides. On 3rd and 4, Dak overthrows Cole Beasley and it just barely escapes Jonathan Joseph, who almost picked it. Cowboys punt.On first-and-goal, the Texans have a false start. Watson takes off on back-to-back plays but Jeff Heath lays him out at the one. On 3rd and goal, a shovel-pass from Watson to Keke Coutee gets the score. Texans take the lead, 7-6.First QuarterThe Texans offense is back on the field and facing a third and three, Byron Jones gets beat on a slant for 34-yards, Texans with a 1st and goal.Cowboys back on the move with a really nice completion to Rico Gathers for 32-yards but drive stalls at the HOU-26. Brett Maher nails a 43-yarder, Cowboys 6-0.Texans pick up a few first downs with some improvisation from Deshaun Watson but Jaylon Smith gets him down for a tackle for loss then on a 3rd- and 11, Smith is there again. Cowboys force the field goal and Houston MISSES it. Score remains 3-0 Cowboys.Cowboys lost the toss, Texans defer, so the Cowboys offense got the start in this one. After two straight plays for nothing, Dak Prescott connects with Allen Hurns for the first down. Rod Smith then rumbles through and turns a loss into a gain. Dak Prescott hit Geoff Swaim on a screen for 42-yards!! Cowboys come short in the red zone on third down but Brett Maher puts a 27-yarder through and Dallas lead 3-0.PregameInactives:Cowboys: QB Mike White, LB Sean Lee, OG Xavier Su’a-Filo Youth Maliek Collins Jersey , TE Dalton Schultz, DT David Irving, DT Maliek CollinsTexans: WR Vyncint Smith, CB Aaron Colvin, ILB Brian Peters, OLB Daeshon Hall, T David Sharpe, DE Carlos Watkins, DE Christian CovingtonWhen you are digging out of an early-season hole, every game is huge. Once Dallas found themselves at 1-2, they knew they needed to string some wins together. Last week, they started the process by beating the Detroit Lions. Now, they need to continue it by winning on the road against the Houston Texans. The Cowboys offense woke up last week with a 400+ yard game and they put 26 points on the board. They will need more of the same this week, and you know that Ezekiel Elliott is going to be a big part of that plan. Zeke had a huge day last week on the ground and through the air. Of course, J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney will be looking to disrupt both the passing game and the running game. Dak Prescott will have to remain composed in the pocket and make wise choices with the football. If the Texans get to aggressive, he might use some read-options and RPOs to punish them. The Cowboys defense will have to contend with a powerful Texans offense orchestrated by quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Texans are pretty good at moving the ball and racking up yards, but they don’t convert those into points at the rate they should. The Cowboys defense could really use a couple of turnovers in this game. The team has struggled in that area. Travis Frederick will not go on injured reserve initially as he battles a condition that affects the nervous system, although the Dallas Cowboys still don't have a timetable for the return of their four-time Pro Bowl center.Coach Jason Garrett said Monday that Frederick hasn't had any "drastic setbacks" while getting treated for Guillain-Barre syndrome. The disorder attacks nerves and causes weakness in various parts of the body.Joe Looney is expected to start when the Cowboys open the season Sunday at Carolina. The 27-year-old Frederick traveled with the team to the final preseason game in Houston and is attending meetings. He has started all 83 games, including three playoff games, over five seasons. A move to IR would force Frederick to miss at least eight games."It's been positive since he started his treatments," Garrett said. "And that's given us cause to be optimistic. He's working out on his own. He's been able to handle the work so far. From my perspective, the information that I've gotten, there hasn't been any drastic setbacks in any way."The Cowboys added depth on the interior line by claiming center Adam Redmond on waivers from Buffalo and acquiring Kansas City backup Parker Ehinger in a trade. Ehinger was a fourth-round pick two years ago.Dallas doesn't want to move four-time Pro Bowl right guard Zack Martin to center, but he is the emergency option. Thompson was among the final cuts after signing as a free agent in the offseason, but Garrett said the Cowboys intended to bring him back. During development in the game, Jagex discovered many different block combinations, one which paired the spring block together with the boost block and caused the gamer to shoot ridiculously far out on the map. This was something which Jagex considered nerfing, until they realised how actually fun it made the action. From there, they’ve encouraged insane block combinations and rather RuneScape Gold than “nerfing the fun” as Solari describes it, they embraced it.

Miami is a seven-point underdog for the game because that struggling opponent is the New England Patriots. Can Miami stay undefeated against the team people presumed would be the AFC East champions prior to the start of the season?According to our FanPulse poll this week http://www.miamidolphinsteamonline.com/raekwon-mcmillan-jersey , Dolphins fans think it can happen - but just barely. The respondents to our weekly survey have the Dolphins winning by two.Sign up HERE to take our weekly Dolphins s urvey.Of course, the Patriots fans expect a giant blowout this week right? Not exactly. According to the FanPulse survey from over at Pats Pulpit, Patriots fans only see this as a three-point win for New England. I know, surprising right?Well consider this. The FanPulse confidence survey for Pats Pulpit started the season with 90 percent of the fans saying they were confident in the direction of the team. In Week 4, that number is now 31 percent. Patriots fans do not expect the team to cover the spread in this game. The Dolphins and Patriots will kickoff at 1pm on Sunday. Kiko Alonso joined Xavien Howard as the only two Miami Dolphins defenders to play every snap Sunday vs. the New York Jets. Here’s 10 of those 66 snaps in GIF form:The TapeFirst of all, I like the defensive play call. This is what you call a zone with man principles, at least that’s what I called it in basketball - and I determine this from what Bobby McCain does as he comes in motion with Robby Anderson. Instead of continuing with Anderson’s pseudo-wheel route (e.g., a strict “man” coverage), he stays inside and then follows man principles with the Z receiver down the field. You see Kiko Alonso and Jerome Baker do something similar pre-snap and just after the snap, as they appear to swap inside-and-out. Subsequently, Chris Herndon in the slot is breaking towards Alonso (Baker points), who then completes the assignment with man principles while Baker sat with the RB.Dolphins rush 5 with a Cover-3 look behind them. Chris Herndon gets behind Kiko on the deep crosser. Kiko jabs on the play action fake and simply doesn’t get fluid again to get enough depth. Footwork is a little “Electric Slide”-ish, and you like to see a smoother backpedal. Good play design by the Jets to allow the 9-route to clear everything out and Herndon works towards the vacated space on the sideline. Once Sam Darnold sees Kiko without the necessary depth, it was easy pitch-and-catch.Compare this to the last play: Kiko reacts faster to the play action fake, and this time, backpedals smoothly to get some depth. This route http://www.thedolphinsfootballauthentic.com/t.j.-mcdonald-jersey-authentic , instead of drifting towards the sideline, is meant to sit at 15 yards at the numbers, despite both “catch sites” being at mirrored sides of the field. Kiko learned his lesson earlier and adds another interception to his resum猫. Dolphins catch a break here, in my opinion. Minkah Fitzpatrick creeps up pre-snap, but then gets occupied with the 2 route combinations to his side of the field. Kiko, on the other hand, gets matched up with Herndon again who is lined up in the slot. It’s basically a go route that angles towards the near sideline and if that’s Darnold’s first read (who likely sees an aggressive Minkah within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage not actively backpedaling), that might be a huge gain. By the way, I’m not putting this on Kiko, I think he’s expecting deep help here and luckily the pass rush did enough to make Darnold uncomfortable and get rid of the ball before the play could develop further. Looks like to me that Kiko is playing any route to the sticks, and beyond that, is counting on deep help. Zero eye manipulation here by Darnold, and you’d like to see Kiko get a better break on this ball. There’s no reason to sit at that spot when you have Raekwon McMillan and TJ McDonald (at varying depths) to your left for any inside routes. If Kiko trusts his eyes and play call, he follows Darnold and he’s easily flowing out to the numbers to get a better angle at this pass. Not saying he would’ve deflected the pass, but it would’ve been a much tighter window. Kiko can chase a play down. Missed the dive block attempt by the left tackle, stays in pursuit Youth Ryan Tannehill Jersey , and wraps up about 30 yards from where he started.A subtle play for Kiko here, but I absolutely love this play. He’s in the very middle of the field, and watch how he plays this route: notice the shoulders. He’s ready for any “in-breaking” route at the sticks and it appeared to be Darnold’s first read (if slot runs a go route here, you’re looking at GIF #4 over again, where Kiko might need help over the middle of the field). Darnold understandably has to go through his progressions, flanks right, and inevitably has to throw the ball away. Another “chase the ball over the whole field”: starts at the numbers, hurdles a pile of people, and goes across the field almost to the opposite sideline to make the tackle on Isaiah Crowell. Kudos to Xavien Howard for slowing him down, and Kiko cleans it up.I believe this play is designed to get to the left edge, Jets try Eric Tomlinson in a FB role, and Kiko simply kamikazes perfectly into the running lane to take away the angle. Crowell has no choice but to just take what he can inside for a modest gain. Kiko flashes outside the hash, sees the in-breaking route, jumps it and gets his beautiful mitts on the play. Textbook coverage, and in a late-game script to boot.
