However, some streamers, like Rachel "Valkyrae" Hoffsetter, supported Blevins and encouraged others to "respect decisions that limit drama in people's personal lives," as Hoffsetter place it. Likewise, others agreed that Blevins' decision could be the best solution to curb the Twitch community's toxicity. The debate raged on, so yesterday Blevins tweeted a follow-up statement to clarify his stance. "While I understand many people have implied Fortnite Items my views mean I have something against playing with girls, I need to make pay off the issue I'm addressing is online harassment, and my seek to minimize it from your life," Blevins said. "It can be something that affects all streamers, especially ones that will make their relationships public. I desired to bring care about this issue and my comments mustn't be characterized as anything beyond that. Having just celebrated my 1 year anniversary, my lady and our family will always be by far the most important thing for me and I am doing my best to defend them." Blevins also said he looks forward to messing around with "all types of Fortnite players" at future tournaments and events, and within a reply to a new Twitter user, pointed out which he regularly hosts women on Fortnite Skins his Twitch channel. Blevins closed his statement by naming three Twitch streamers—Curvyllama, Juliatv and HalieAtisuto—and encouraging his followers to look into their channels. In response, HalieAtisuto explained she herself was targeted by "conspiracy theories regarding my intentions" when she was hosted by Blevins, and supported his initial comments and the updated statement.
The NFL says it found no evidence any team asked LSU running back Derrius Guice inappropriate questions during interviews at the scouting combine.

Dallas winds down its season with a three-game trip through California with the chance to play spoiler.

Sam Shields thought hard about quitting football during his darkest, saddest days at home in South Florida over the past two years.
As a former undrafted free agent who became a Pro Bowl cornerback and a Super Bowl champion with Green Bay, Shields knows all about overcoming tremendous odds. Four recorded concussions and the ensuing months of agonizing headaches were a daunting obstacle to be surmounted – and moreover, he wasn’t even sure if he should.
With the support of his friends and family, Shields eventually decided he couldn’t just stop. He had to play again, and he’s taking a shot with the Los Angeles Rams.
”I have a tough mind,” Shields said after stepping off the practice field at UC Irvine in full pads. ”I’m not going to lie. I guess that’s just a gift that I have, and that’s an important thing on your body. I’ve been through a lot. I took time off, and now I’m here and I’m doing a hell of a job.”
Shields wore pads Sunday for the first time since Sept. 11, 2016, when he suffered the final concussion that kept him out of football for nearly two full seasons. He is already drawing attention during the first few days of camp with the defending NFC West champion Rams Fred Warner Color Rush Jersey , who added him to a well-stocked defensive secondary last March while allowing him to recapture his career.
Shields is 30 years old now, but his body is completely healthy, and he says his mind is clear. In fact, his biggest physical obstacles these days are the braces on the back of his teeth, slightly altering his speech.
He realizes the odds he’s facing, and he isn’t naive about the potentially catastrophic damage from another major head injury. Shields still wants to be part of a team again after seven seasons with the Packers, who cut him in February 2017.
”I had a year and a half to think about it, to be with my family,” Shields said. ”So I definitely had enough time to think about it, and I think I made the right choice.”
Shields’ teammates and coaches with the Rams are already impressed by the former University of Miami receiver who transitioned to defense as a senior and then carved out an NFL career on the strength of his speed and will.
The Rams also know how perilous Shields’ health could be.
”He’s doing a great job,” Rams coach Sean McVay said. ”I think people forget what a productive player Sam has been in this league. Elite man-to-man skills, unbelievable lateral agility and just short-space quickness. He’s a great guy. … Really happy for him. We’re hoping he’s able to stay healthy.”
Shields had become an elite defensive back during his career in Green Bay. He had 18 interceptions with the Packers across 80 games, including 62 starts.
He made two tackles while the Packers won the Super Bowl in February 2011 to cap his rookie season. Several months after earning a $39 million contract from the Packers in 2014, he was chosen for the Pro Bowl.
But he missed four games in 2015 due to concussions, and he suffered that fourth concussion in the 2016 season opener against Jacksonville. He hasn’t played football since.
Shields was beset by headaches in the months after his most recent concussion, enduring blinding pain and light sensitivity. He traveled around the country for help, eventually spending six months getting treatment at UCLA.
When the headaches dissipated Keke Coutee Jersey Texans , his desire to play came flooding back.
”I felt better just out of nowhere,” he said. ”It was crazy, and I started, just like, `Let’s go work out.’ And I worked out. Felt fine that morning. I kept going out there, and that’s when I knew I was finally all right.”
Shields said his biggest current challenge is getting his body back in football shape, and getting rid of ”soreness in different spots that I haven’t moved in a while.” The Rams haven’t done any major hitting yet, but their first preseason game is Aug. 9 at Baltimore.
Ever since he joined the Rams, Shields has repeatedly said he isn’t fooling himself about what could happen. He wants another shot anyway.
”It’s a blessing,” Shields said. ”Two, almost 2 1/2 years out, I mean, it’s hard mentally for anybody to be able to come back, put these pads on. But I’m just happy to be here with my brothers. That’s the most important part.”

Saints left tackle Terron Armstead rattles off travel destinations that 鈥?unfortunately for him 鈥?have nothing to do with the kind of jet-setting leisure a big NFL contract affords.
Rather Youth Robert Golden Jersey , New Orleans' second-highest-paid offensive player has been on a protracted search for answers about how to stay healthy.
"I've done pretty much everything as far as injury prevention. I've been a lot of places, you know, out of the country, spent a lot of time with different doctors, just trying to get over that hump," Armstead said, listing trips to Germany, New York, Minnesota, Texas and Florida, among others. "I've been pretty much everywhere."
During the early days of training camp, Armstead 鈥?one of the players most responsible for protecting quarterback Drew Brees from potentially devastating blind-side hits 鈥?has sounded confident that his journey back to optimum health is nearly complete.
"I was able to start the offseason getting stronger in areas that were injured before," Armstead said, explaining that in the past Authentic Ito Smith Jersey , he wasn't able to train the way he wanted to because previous injuries were still healing. "So being able to start the offseason getting stronger in areas that I haven't been able to, that was the difference."
Armstead has missed 15 regular-season games since the Saints signed him to a five-year extension worth about $65 million in 2016. He sat out six games last season and nine the season before that. And when he has played, he often has fought through pain to do so. Last season, he was bothered by a hip injury after coming back from a shoulder injury.
Earlier in his career, he struggled with knee soreness, which led him to seek out the same type of plasma therapy in Germany sought out by high-profile athletes such as former NBA star Kobe Bryant.
During the first days of training camp, coaches and teammates have commented on Armstead's apparent improvements in strength, form and vigor.
"He's not rehabbing. He was training," coach Sean Payton said. "The guys that have been injured have not been really on the ground. You can be on a treadmill or a bike, but it's different when you're actually on the ground playing. So it's good to have him. He's not only an important player for us, but also an important leader.
"He's always been a really good athlete and he's playing well."
The Saints selected Armstead in the third round of the 2013 draft and elevated him to starter at the end of his rookie season. While Armstead spent his college career largely out of the limelight at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, NFL personnel took notice when he ran 40 yards in 4.71 seconds at the NFL scouting combine. In other words, when healthy, he moves well for someone listed at 6-foot-5 Uchenna Nwosu Jersey , 304 pounds.
Veteran guard Larry Warford, now in his second season in New Orleans, describes Armstead's recent form as "unbelievable."
"Even compared to last year, I think he's vastly improved 鈥?and that's saying a lot because he was damn good last year," Warford said. "I'm excited to see him this season because I think he's going to be a dominant player.
"It's hard to appreciate if you're not an offensive lineman, but just the intent of everything he does is superior. It's top-notch," Warford continued. "There's a lot of natural ability that goes into that as well, but you can see that he's been working. I know he's felt bad about missing (games in past seasons) and so he just got his body right and got healthy."
Armstead's athleticism doesn't merely present challenges for defensive ends trying to pressure Brees. His ability to move fast thwarts linebackers chasing running plays across the field.
Saints second-year linebacker Alex Anzalone said he's seen Armstead do plenty of that in practice.
"For a big guy, he rolls really well," Anzalone said.
Armstead said that earlier in his career, he "never knew why things kept happening" to take him out of action. And while he knows there's no guaranteeing one's health in the NFL, he asserts that his grasp of everything from how muscle groups work together to injury prevention is far superior to what it was a few years ago.
"I mean, it's football," Armstead said. "Things happen for sure Cheap Tre'Quan Smith Jersey , but I'm on top of anything I can do to prevent it and be out there for my team."
Notes: Saints first-round draft choice, defensive end Marcus Davenport, and veteran tight end Ben Watson both missed their fourth straight practices with undisclosed ailments on Saturday. Also not practicing were OL John Fullington, DB JT Gray, TE Micheal Hoomanawanui, DB Kamrin Moore, C Cameron Tom and RB Shane Vereen.
NEW YORK — The Tampa Bay Rays have become one of baseball’s most pleasant surprises since implementing an unusual wrinkle into their starting rotation. But possessing a true old-fashioned ace atop their rotation hasn’t stopped the New York Mets from enduring one of the worst runs in their history.
Two teams heading in unexpectedly different directions will begin a rare three-game series Friday night when the Mets host the Rays at Citi Field.
It will be just the second time the Rays play the Mets at Citi Field since the stadium opened in 2009, though Tampa Bay played three “home games” against the New York Yankees at Citi Field last September after Hurricane Irma hit the gulf coast of Florida.
Right-hander Ryne Stanek (1-2, 1.98 ERA) is scheduled to serve as the “opener” for the Rays against Mets ace Jacob deGrom (5-4, 1.84).
Both teams were off Thursday after completing brief two-game interleague series on Wednesday when the Rays fell to the host Miami Marlins 3-0 and the visiting Mets beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-3.
Despite falling to .500 with the loss, the Rays (43-43) received what has become a standard strong pitching effort. Tampa Bay has the lowest ERA in the majors (2.81) since May 19 when it began utilizing an “opener” instead of a traditional starting pitcher in select games.
The Rays have allowed three runs or fewer 25 times in the subsequent 43 games, 23 of which have been started by relief pitchers typically pitching three innings or fewer.
Stanek will make his 10th start, by far the most among openers. He has a 1.42 ERA as a starter and has pitched longer than 1 2/3 innings just once.
Stanek has also contributed as a late-inning reliever in the last six weeks, which means he’ll take the mound Friday fresh off three decidedly different experiences.
After tossing a scoreless inning as a starter against the Houston Astros last Saturday Leighton Vander Esch Cowboys Jersey , Stanek took the loss Monday when he allowed a run without getting an out as the Rays fell to the Marlins 3-2 in the 10th inning before he tossed two hitless innings in Tuesday’s 9-6, 16-inning win.
“Ryne’s thrown the ball so well for us in that opener role,” Rays manager Kevin Cash told reporters after the loss Monday. “He’s done some good things in the later innings.”
Nobody in baseball is doing a better job of things during traditional starter’s innings than deGrom, who leads the majors in ERA despite suffering from almost inconceivable bad luck. DeGrom has a 1.42 ERA in his last 13 starts, during which the Mets have gone 3-10 and deGrom is 3-4.
DeGrom’s misery is par for the course for the Mets (34-49), who have gone 7-22 since June 1 and are just 23-48 since an 11-1 start.
“I’m tired of losing to be honest — everybody else in here I’m sure is,” deGrom told reporters Saturday when he took the loss after allowing three runs in six innings as the Mets fell to the Marlins 5-2. “That’s not what we want to do. We came in here to win baseball games and we’re not doing that. We have to find a way to do that.”
With the Mets buried in the postseason race, deGrom has been the subject of trade rumors, though SNY reported Thursday that it appears he will stay with the team through at least the end of the season.
New York, which has a three-headed general manager setup after Sandy Alderson went on an indefinite leave of absence last week in order to battle a recurrence of cancer, is expected to hire a new general manager in the offseason.
Stanek has never faced the Mets. DeGrom didn’t factor into the decision in his only previous career start against the Rays on Aug. 7, 2015, when he gave up two runs in 6 1/3 innings in New York’s 4-3 victory.
.
Brett Veach thought he was in good shape offensively after adding wide receiver Sammy Watkins in free agency Terrelle Pryor Sr. Jersey Elite , and that the Kansas City Chiefs' most pressing needs were entirely on defense.
So, he used the entire draft to address them.
After using their first three picks on that side of the ball, Veach used the final day of the draft to select three more on Saturday.
Texas A&M safety Armani Watts went in the fourth round, cornerback Tremon Smith went in the sixth round and defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie went two picks later.
They joined Ole Miss pass rusher Breeland Speaks, Florida State defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi and Clemson linebacker Dorian O'Daniel in filling out the Chiefs' defense-heavy draft class.
"Listen, all drafts are unique in their own way in regards to those players and the positions you feel the depth is," Veach said. "Every year is different."
Evidently, there was plenty of talent available on defense this year 鈥?so much so that the Chiefs think one of their picks can play the other side of the ball.
McKenzie worked out at guard for the Chiefs at the combine, and is talented enough that they want to give him a shot there.
The Chiefs figure to be one of the most explosive offenses in the league next season, even with new quarterback Patrick Mahomes II. Reigning rushing champ Kareem Hunt, speedy Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill and star tight end Travis Kelce join Watkins in giving coach Andy Reid plenty of options.
But there were numerous holes on an aging defense, one that was gutted by the Tennessee Titans in the playoffs last season.
The Chiefs moved on from erstwhile linebackers Derrick Johnson and Tamba Hali, released safety Ron Parker and even traded their top cover corner, Marcus Peters.
They made a couple of moves in free agency Roquan Smith Jersey Youth , signing linebacker Anthony Hitchens and defensive tackle Xavier Williams, but chose to primarily fill out a defense in need of a nasty streak through the draft.
"Your expectations are always for guys to come in and compete for starting job, or see a lot of playing time, and the higher you pick the more confident you are in those guys coming in," Veach said. "You hope those guys will come in and play right away, or be part of a steady rotation."
The Chiefs didn't have a first-round pick, but Veach was high on the three defensive players he added on the second day. The trio of selections Saturday provides depth, special teams talent and massive upside.
Here is a closer look at the Chiefs' draft class:
SPEAKING OF STARTING: Speaks probably has the best chance to get on the field right away, especially if outside linebacker Dee Ford's recovery from a back injury takes longer than expected. Even then, Speaks is a better-rounded prospect and could soon find himself starting opposite Justin Houston.
"You want safeties and you want corners," Veach said, "but you have to affect the quarterback. You can't go out there and play 7-on-7. And we looked at it as the last chance to get a guy."
RIVAL ROOKIE: McKenzie's father is Reggie McKenzie, the longtime NFL linebacker and the current GM of the AFC West-rival Oakland Raiders. "I didn't talk to the dad," said Chiefs area scout Pat Sperduto http://www.49ersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-tarvarius-moore-jersey ," but I've talked to the kid a bunch of times. It was kind of a chuckle when we took his son."
DEFENSIVE LINE DEPTH: Nnadi also could slide into the rotation right away, and his development will be important in the near future. Allen Bailey, Rakeem Nunez-Roches and Jarvis Jenkins are free agents after next season, and Williams and Chris Jones hit free agency the following offseason.
THE LATE PICKS: Watts was a four-year starter for Texas A&M and could slide into Parker's spot alongside star safety Eric Berry. He was a third-team All-American after making 82 tackles and four picks as a senior, and a name the Chiefs didn't expect to fall to them.
Smith was a tackling machine at Central Arkansas, and at 6-foot and 190 pounds, possesses the kind of size the Chiefs covet in a man-press cornerback. McKenzie is a mammoth, 320-pound defensive lineman who has the talent, makeup and lower-body strength to transition to offensive guard.
"We try to make it not complicated. Just watch the tape," Veach said, "and these guys play hard. Sometimes you get cute. Every little test, agility test, bend and this and that. Just an old rule of thumb: Does he make plays? Does he play hard? And these guys do."
The Toronto Maple Leafs opened another 4-1 lead in Boston, and this time they held on.
Just barely.
Five years after blowing a three-goal lead in a playoff elimination game against the Bruins Terrelle Pryor Sr. Color Rush Jersey , Toronto killed off a 5-on-3 and three more penalties to beat the Bruins 4-3 in Game 5 on Saturday night and force the series to a sixth game.
”That was a little bit nerve-wracking,” said Toronto forward Nazem Kadri, who returned from a three-game suspension and had an assist. ”But we were able to weather the storm. Playoff games on the road, sometimes you just have to survive.”
Connor Brown and Andreas Johnsson each scored his first career playoff goal in the first period, and Tyler Bozak and James van Riemsdyk scored 1:19 apart in the second to make it 4-1 and chase Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask.
Boston cut the deficit to one goal, but the Leafs survived despite a parade of penalties that left four men in the box at one point.
”When you’re down a man six times – and it was six times – it’s ridiculous,” Toronto coach Mike Babcock said.
Frederik Andersen stopped 42 shots for Toronto, which returns home for Game 6 on Monday. Game 7 would be back in Boston on Wednesday, if necessary.
When the teams last met in the playoffs in 2013, Toronto twice won to stave off elimination and force the series to a seventh game. Once there, the Maple Leafs took a 4-1 into the third period before the Bruins won in overtime en route to their second Stanley Cup final berth in two years.
”That’s in the past,” Kadri said. ”I think it’s time we turn the page on that one.”
Jake DeBrusk and Sean Kuraly scored for the Bruins. After missing one game with an undisclosed injury, Selke Trophy finalist Patrice Bergeron returned to the ice but not to the scoresheet; his line, which had 20 points in the first two games Dallas Goedert Jersey Elite , was held without a goal or assist.
”He made it through today’s game healthy,” Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said. ”We always want to see how they are in the morning. I don’t anticipate there being any issues going into Game 6.”
Rask was pulled after allowing four goals on 13 shots before skipping off to the locker room when he was pulled with 8:05 left in the second.
”Probably could have stopped more pucks with my eyes closed,” he said. ”It’s on me, but moving on to the next one and try to finish it off in Toronto.”
Anton Khudobin, making his first career playoff appearance, stopped all eight shots he saw the rest of the way.
”I didn’t think he (Rask) had it tonight. So we went with Anton, who’s been very good for us,” Cassidy said. ”And then there’s always that part that gets the rest of the team’s attention.”
Toronto lost the first two games of the best-of-seven series in Boston by a combined score of 12-4, then won the third game at home before dropping the fourth to fall to the brink of elimination.
Leading 4-1 midway through second on Saturday, the Maple Leafs gave Boston four straight power plays but killed each one off. Kuraly made it a two-goal game with about three minutes left in the second and Noel Acciari made it 4-3 six minutes into the third.
Notes: Bergeron’s absence from Game 4 was a surprise, and his upper body injury remains a mystery. He skated on the off-day Friday and again on Saturday morning and was then cleared to play. … Grzelcyk had his first playoff point, and Acciari recorded his first playoff assist. … Khudobin made his NHL debut in 2010 but has been a backup since then and never saw the ice in a playoff game. … The game ended with fisticuffs in the corner. Bozak and Boston’s David Backes were in the middle.

Police in a Dallas suburb are investigating a domestic violence complaint against Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving from a woman who later recanted.
Frisco police spokesman Radd Rotello said Monday no arrests have been made.
Rotello said a woman identified as Irving's girlfriend called police twice Sunday. After several media reports Monday DJ Chark Jaguars Jersey , the woman wrote in a message posted on Instagram that her allegations were false. She said she was upset over an argument that led to neighbors calling 911.
"David did not put his hands on me at any time," the woman wrote.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league will look into the incident. A spokesman for the team and Irving's agent declined comment.
Irving recently signed a 2018 second-round tender worth $2.9 million as a restricted free agent. He is eligible for unrestricted free agency after the upcoming season.
The 24-year-old Irving was suspended the first four games last season for violating the NFL's ban on performance enhancers. He had seven sacks in eight games before missing the last four games with a concussion.
The Cowboys picked up Irving off Kansas City's practice squad in 2015. He has 11 sacks over three seasons in Dallas.
Philadelphia 76ers coach Brett Brown had an A-list comparison for 1-B first-round pick Zhaire Smith: Disgruntled San Antonio forward Kawhi Leonard.
”I think that when you look at just where I believe Zhaire can be, there are some common denominators that Kawhi had when we first brought him to San Antonio,” Brown said.
High praise for the Texas Tech guard.
But why settle for a rookie who may never develop into a franchise player when the Sixers can try and aquire the real deal?
The 76ers are open for business this summer and an organization that has long preached patience is now in the market for marquee talent to team with blossoming stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
”We are star hunting or star developing,” Brown said Friday. ”You’re not going to win a championship any other way.”
Brown hit on the ”star hunter” phrase at Thursday’s draft and again when he introduced Smith, acquired from Phoenix in a swap of first-rounders, and Wichita State guard Landry Shamet at the team’s New Jersey headquarters.
Brown had called Smith the team’s 1-B choice in the draft after they traded their 1-A pick Royce Freeman Jersey Broncos , Villanova forward Mikal Bridges, to the Suns in a trade that also saw the Sixers net an unprotected first-rounder in 2021.
Sure, the Sixers could keep that pick until `21 when draft rules are expected to change in time for high school graduates to again be eligible. But the real perk of the pick is the ability to dangle it as trade bait as the Sixers hunt in the rarefied air of NBA stars.
”It’s a tiny number of players,” Brown said. ”As we figure out who we deem to be stars, we understand that’s going to be a challenge. We also understand we don’t have to solve all this now.”
Meaning, the 2019 free-agent crop sure looks good, too.
Brown is calling the shots in the front office as the Sixers look for a new general manager in the wake of Bryan Colangelo’s resignation. Brown made the final decisions on draft night and – though he said he has no desire to balance dual roles – he’ll be the face of the franchise with plenty to offer in talent; success (52 wins; playoff series win); a first-class training facility; and at least $26 million in salary cap space.
The Sixers are also dealing with a wild card in Markelle Fultz Christian Kirk Jersey Elite , the No. 1 pick in last year’s draft whose rookie season was slowed by shoulder and mental issues that resulted in a broken shot and no playing time in Philadelphia’s last seven playoff games.
Fultz has been working with noted skills coach Drew Hanlen on rebuilding his mechanics. Fultz will likely skip summer league as he works on his jumper and tries to join Embiid and Simmons to form a trio of homegrown talent capable of making the Sixers contenders in the East. There’s always a chance Fultz could be packaged with a pick to try and pry Leonard from the Spurs.
Brown was an assistant with the Spurs and has a solid relationship with Leonard. Leonard, the 2014 NBA Finals MVP and two-time NBA defensive player of the year, has requested a trade from San Antonio after missing most of last season with a right quadriceps injury. Spurs GM R.C. Buford said there was a fractured relationship between Leonard and the only franchise he has played for.
Leonard is due just over $20 million next season, and can become a free agent in the summer of 2019. He is eligible to sign a $220 million extension with San Antonio.
If the Sixers strike this summer, they’d have to be confident Leonard would be willing to re-sign with them instead of walking away with nothing to show for the gamble.
The Sixers have their own free agents to deal with, and they’d love to have 3-point ace JJ Redick return, perhaps on another one-year deal. Wayne Ellington and Tyreke Evans Derrick Nnadi Jersey Elite , both Philly-area natives, are unrestricted free agents that would fit in a happy homecoming. And, of course, Paul George and LeBron James are on just about every team’s wish list this summer.
The Cavs can offer James a five-year, $209 million deal this summer. It’s possible James could choose to sign a one-year deal again with a player option and go through the free-agency dance again next summer.
The Sixers will get to make a pitch after letting others do it for them.
At Barclays Center, the NBA draft site, a plane flying above the arena carried three banners. One had LeBron James’ No. 23 with a crown and the Liberty Bell; another urges him to ”Strive for GOATNESS”; and the last reads (hash)PHILLYWANTSLEBRON.
Power Home Remodeling http://www.cowboysauthorizedshops.com/authentic-dalton-schultz-jersey , a Philadelphia-based company, has become a James recruiter, originally setting up three billboards in Cleveland urging him to come to the city. The company also flew Thursday’s billboards in Brooklyn.
”We’ll be aggressive and attractive in the free-agent marketplace,” Brown said.
But will it be enough?

The New Jersey Devils are not sure whether top defenseman Sami Vatanen is going to be available for Game 5 of their first-round series with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Vatanen is listed as day to day with an upper-body injury after being hurt on a big hit by Nikita Kucherov in a 3-1 loss Wednesday night that put the Devils within a game of elimination. The 26-year-old Finn did not make the trip to Florida on Thursday Youth Alex McGough Jersey , but he might join the team there.
Devils coach John Hynes didn’t give out much information about the injury before the Devils left.
”The focus right now is really on Game 5 and getting our team prepared to play and getting excited to play, and going through the video and making sure we are a better team and ready to put one of our best performances on the ice in Game 5,” Hynes said at a news conference in New Jersey.
Vatanen was hurt late in the first period of the Lightning’s win when he was checked in the shoulder and head area by Kucherov. He did not return.
No penalty was called on the play and Hynes screamed at referees Tim Peel and Wes McCauley before play resumed.
The NHL reviewed the hit Thursday and no supplemental action was taken against Kucherov, NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said in an email to an inquiry by The Associated Press.
Tampa Bay leads the series 3-1 and can wrap up the series at home Saturday.
”The good thing for me as a coach is that I have a lot of competitors in that room, guys with a lot of pride and guys who have had push back all year long,” Hynes said. ”Guys that have been counted out and all year long they have responded.”
If Vatanen can’t play, the Devils can replace him with either Mirco Mueller or Steven Santini. Mueller played in the first two games of the series, while Santini started the season with the team but spent the second half in the AHL
Replacing Vatanen will not be easy. He plays in all situations.
”Sami’s a really important part of our team Cheap Marcedes Lewis Jersey ,” Hynes said. ”He’s a really good player for us, but if unfortunately he isn’t able to go, it’s next man up. We’ve said it all year long, it’s not about the guys out of your lineup, it’s about the performance of the guys in your lineup.”
Vatanen has led the Devils in time on ice since being acquired from Anaheim in late November. He averaged 23:23 in the first three games of the series, but only played 6:46 on Wednesday night.
Vancouver coach Travis Green did a double take when he saw Alex Biega doing postgame TV interviews.
Biega got his first goal in over three years, Brandon Sutter had two goals and an assist and the Canucks beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 on Tuesday night.
”You don’t see that a lot with the Bulldog being interviewed after his game-winner, so I had to get a picture of it James Washington Jersey Steelers ,” Green said about Biega with a smile.
Biega, who last scored on Feb. 16, 2015, blasted a slap shot from the corner of the blue-line that cleared traffic and found the net, giving Vancouver a 2-1 lead three minutes into the third.
”The other (goal) was around the same spot, so I think I’m going to have to shoot pucks after practice around that spot,” Biega said.
Sam Gagner also scored for Vancouver, which has won three of four since losing seven straight. Jacob Markstrom stopped 23 shots.
Andrew Cogliano scored for the Ducks Royce Freeman Jersey Elite , who wrapped a four-game trip and are on a 5-1-1 stretch.
The loss dropped Anaheim into a tie with the Los Angeles Kings for third in the Pacific Division, though the Kings have a game in hand. The teams play Friday night.
”We’ve got probably two of the biggest games of the year coming up, L.A. on Friday night and Colorado on Sunday,” coach Randy Carlyle said. ”That pretty much sums it up, it’s desperation time for everybody and we’re going to have to play to a higher level than we did tonight.”
Anaheim’s John Gibson made 26 saves. He has been dominant against Vancouver, coming into the game 6-1-1 with a 1.37 goals-against average and three shutouts against the Canucks.
Vancouver got to him at 9:53 in the opening period. Daniel Sedin’s shot from the faceoff circle bounced off Gibson and right to Gagner, who batted in the rebound.
Markstrom made two big saves in the second period. The first off a 3-on-2 with Ryan Getzlaf setting up Andrew Cogliano and the second on Corey Perry shooting from inside the slot.
Markstrom later made a gaffe that lead to the Ducks’ tying goal. The puck took an odd bounce off the stanchion during a dump-in, and Markstrom was caught stranded as Cogliano whipped the errant puck in.
”If we win 4-1 and that is the goal that beat me I’ll take that any day Baker Mayfield Browns Jersey ,” Markstrom said. ”It’s frustrating when it happens, but if we win 4-1, I’ll take that goal any day.”
Sutter made it a two-goal lead when he burst out to a breakaway, hit the side of the net, then collected the puck and flipped it in over an out-of-position Gibson.
Sutter added his second of the night into an empty net with 16 seconds left.
NOTES: U.S. Olympian Troy Terry made his NHL debut for the Ducks. He played on a line with Ondrej Kase and Adam Henrique. … Newly signed Canucks C Adam Gaudette did not dress and is expected to make his NHL debut Thursday against Edmonton.

Shaquem Griffin just keeps on proving the doubters wrong as the star linebacker at UCF received his invitation to participate at the NFL Combine. The second-team All-American is looking to become the first player in the modern era to be drafted despite having just one hand. Griffin shared the moment over Twitter:#NFLcombine bound!! 馃檹馃従馃檹馃従馃檹馃従 #AgainstAllOdds pic.twitter.com/lAsCQj4TrV— shaquem griffin (@Shaquemgriffin) January 30 Authentic Oren Burks Jersey , 2018As you can see in the video, Griffin is wearing his Reese's Senior Bowl sweatshirt. Griffin impressed NFL coaches leading up to the All-Star game this past weekened and that's one of the reasons of his combine invitation. But what you can't see in the video is Griffin's left hand which was amputated at four years old. He was born with amniotic band syndrome which caused the fingers on his left hand to not fully develop. Griffin suffered through pain for the first few years of his life until one day when he had enough and grabbed a butcher knife at the age of four years old. He planned on cutting his fingers off himself at the age of four, but his mother intervened. The next day his parents scheduled the amputation of his fingers. The amputation didn't end Griffin's ability to play sports and he became standout player at UCF alongside his twin brother, Shaquill Griffin. Shaquill was not born with聽any deformations with his hands and played cornerback with the Golden Knights before being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2017.Unlike Shaquill, Shaquem redshirted his first year at the school so he was always one year behind his brother despite being just one minute younger. Shaquem made the most of his extra year in school as in 2017 he was a second-team All-American, the Peach Bowl Defensive MVP and helped lead UCF to the first undefeated season in school history. The assignment for Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris in his first start this postseason was easy to explain but nearly impossible to execute.
His job: Guard LeBron James, and keep the four-time NBA MVP from running the Celtics out of their own gym in the Eastern Conference finals for the second year in a row.
”He’s obviously the best player in the game,” said Morris, who during the week boasted that he was up to the challenge and on Sunday explained why he wanted it.
”Because I’m a competitor. He’s the best player, and I’m going to be able to tell my kids this one day.”
Morris scored 21 points and added 10 rebounds while pestering James into a playoff-high seven turnovers – and a playoff-low 15 points – and the Celtics opened a 21-point, first-quarter lead to scorch Cleveland 108-83 in Game 1.
Jaylen Brown scored 23 points and Al Horford had 20 for Boston Colts Kemoko Turay Jersey , which ran off 17 points in a row in the first and never allowed the Cavaliers within single digits again. The Celtics led by 28 when Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue pulled James for good with 7:09 left.
Game 2 is Tuesday night.
”I have zero level of concern at this stage,” said James, who was 5 for 16 from the floor and missed all five 3-point attempts.
”I’ve been down before in the postseason, but for me there’s never any level of concern – no matter how bad I played tonight, with seven turnovers, how inefficient I was shooting the ball,” he said. ”We have another opportunity to be better as a ball club coming in Tuesday night, and we’ll see what happens.”
Kevin Love had 17 points and eight rebounds, and James added nine assists and seven boards. The Cavaliers missed their first 14 3-point attempts of the game and shot just 32 percent in the first half.
By that time, Boston led 61-35 – the biggest halftime playoff deficit in James’ career.
”I think we’re very alert to the fact that we’ll get a heavyweight punch on Tuesday night,” Celtics coach Brad Stevens said. ”It’s another great challenge Authentic Jeremiah Attaochu Jersey , another great opportunity to experience something for this team.”
With injured stars Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving on the bench in street clothes, the Celtics continued their stunning run this season with what may have been the most surprising turn of events yet. A year after dropping the first two games at home against Cleveland in a five-game East final, the Celtics pounced on James, and the favored Cavaliers were never really in it.
”The last couple of playoffs, and our meeting at the end of year, they blew us out of the water,” Boston guard Marcus Smart said. ”We’ve got a different team, just like they do, and a lot of younger guys. So for them to see that, and have that feeling like we did tonight, is huge.”
TIP-INS
Cavaliers: Kyle Korver’s 3-pointer with nine minutes left in the third period was their first after missing 14 in a row. It cut the deficit from 28 points to 65-40. … Tristan Thompson had eight points and 11 rebounds.
Celtics: The Celtics improved to 8-0 at home this postseason. They do not have to win on the road to reach the NBA Finals. … Boston’s 36-18 lead at the end of one quarter was the second-largest in a playoff game in franchise history.
GET HYPED
The Celtics took the floor to a hype video that began with the broadcast of Hayward’s injury in the first quarter of the first game Josh Allen Jersey , at Cleveland. A variety of commentators predicted the team’s demise, including Hall of Famer Charles Barkley saying: ”Their season’s over.”
As more players went down to injury – including Irving, who came over from the Cavaliers last summer but was done for the season in March – the prophesies grew even gloomier.
But there the Celtics were, back in the Eastern Conference finals against the Cavaliers for the second year in a row – with Hayward, Irving, Daniel Theis and Shane Larkin all injured and Stevens down to an eight-man rotation.
It was more than they needed.
Starting in place of Aron Baynes, Morris backed up his boast that he could cover James better than anyone except Kawhi Leonard. The Cavaliers star had seven of Cleveland’s nine turnovers after accruing eight in the entire four-game, second-round sweep of the Raptors.
”Our confidence level is very high,” said Morris, who recorded the first postseason double-double of his career. ”The younger guys to the older guys, we think we can compete and play with anybody. At the end of the day Adidas Nathan MacKinnon Jersey , all the talking is done off the court.”
FAST START
Horford made his first seven shots and scored 10, including eight straight, during the 17-0 run that turned a three-point deficit into a 21-7 lead. After James wiggled his way to a layup – Cleveland’s first points in 4 minutes, 43 seconds – Boston ran off eight more points in a row; Brown had six of them, and he finished the quarter with 13 points and five rebounds.
Cleveland scored seven straight points early in the third and finished the quarter with six in a row to make it 78-64. But Boston made the first three baskets in the fourth and, after running off nine in a row to make it 96-68 with 7:09 left, the Cavs conceded.

Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin was charged Tuesday with threatening two former teammates who had harassed him in the NFL and with threatening his former prep school classmates, Los Angeles County prosecutors said.
Martin pleaded not guilty to four felony counts of making criminal threats and a misdemeanor charge of carrying a loaded firearm, district attorney's office spokesman Greg Risling said.
A post on Martin's Instagram page last month showed a shotgun and referred by name to the private Harvard-Westlake prep school in Los Angeles that he once attended.
The post also included mentions of the Instagram usernames of former Miami Dolphins players Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey and said suicide and revenge were the only options for a victim of bullying.
Martin left the Dolphins midseason in 2013 after accusing teammates of bullying. An NFL investigation found that Incognito Panthers Game Jerseys , Pouncey and teammate John Jerry engaged in persistent harassment directed at Martin.
Incognito was suspended for the final eight games and sat out the 2014 season before joining the Buffalo Bills.
Pouncey was released by Miami last week and agreed to a two-year contract Monday with the Los Angeles Chargers
The NFL's investigation also found that teammates threatened to rape Martin's sister, called him a long list of slurs and bullied him for not being "black enough." Martin is black and Incognito is white.
Court documents say Martin "did willfully and unlawfully threaten to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury" of Pouncey and Incognito. Both Pouncey and Incognito feared for their own safety and the safety of their families, the documents said.
Prosecutors said Martin also had a loaded firearm in his vehicle in Glendale Youth Rashaan Gaulden Jersey , but court papers provided no other details.
The name of Martin's attorney was not immediately known. Prosecutors said he is due back in court next month and faces up to six years in prison if he's convicted.

The massive LeBron James banner hanging in downtown Cleveland is being removed again following the superstar’s announcement he’s leaving the Cavaliers.
The 10-story billboard, which shows James wearing his No. 23 jersey with his arms spread wide has become a city landmark. It was also Eric Wood can finally announce he’s retiring after the Buffalo Bills released the veteran center in a move considered a formality after he was diagnosed with a career-ending neck injury in January.
The NFL transactions list on Thursday listed the Bills reaching an injury settlement and releasing Wood under the designation: ”Termination of vested veteran.”
The decision by the Bills ends a lengthy waiting period for the team and Wood.
By waiting until Thursday, the Bills limited the effect the player’s remaining bonus money will have on their salary cap. The more than $10 million in bonus money owed to Wood will now only count against the team’s salary cap this year rather than be spread over the two years left on the contract.
Wood declined to comment on being released by the Bills in a text to The AP. Wood did say he’s planning to attend Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly’s annual charitable auction and golf tournament in Buffalo this weekend.
Though Wood said he’ll never play again, the nine-year veteran balked at the last minute to announce his retirement during a news conference in January.
Wood read from a prepared statement and spoke for less than two minutes in revealing end of season tests discovered two discs being dangerously close to his spinal cord.
”Thanks to everyone who supported me throughout my career. And because of that, I am here today,” Wood said. ”I’m sure there are a lot of unanswered questions. I hope to address those at a later date. Thanks, and go Bills.”
According to the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, teams could have asked for a portion of bonus money to be returned if a player retired before his contract expired. There was Buccaneers Game Jerseys , however, a gray area if a player retired as a result of a career-ending injury.
Wood is from Cincinnati and spent four seasons playing at Louisville before being selected by the Bills with their second of two first-round picks in the 2009 draft. Wood earned a starting job entering his rookie season and appeared in 121 games, including one in the playoffs.
He was a respected team leader, popular in the community for his charitable work, and was the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee in 2015 and `16.
Aside from Wood, Buffalo’s offensive line must also replace starting left guard Richie Incognito, who abruptly retired in April and was then released by the Bills earlier this month.

Saints left tackle Terron Armstead rattles off travel destinations that 鈥?unfortunately for him 鈥?have nothing to do with the kind of jet-setting leisure a big NFL contract affords.
Rather Sean Lee Jersey , New Orleans' second-highest-paid offensive player has been on a protracted search for answers about how to stay healthy.
"I was able to start the offseason getting stronger in areas that were injured before," Armstead said, explaining that in the past Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys Womens , he wasn't able to train the way he wanted to because previous injuries were still healing.
In other words, when healthy, he moves well for someone listed at 6-foot-5 Carlton Davis Jersey Elite , 304 pounds.
"Things happen for sure Youth Philadelphia Eagles Jerseys , but I'm on top of anything I can do to prevent it and be out there for my team."
Notes: Saints first-round draft choice, defensive end Marcus Davenport, and veteran tight end Ben Watson both missed their fourth straight practices with undisclosed ailments on Saturday. Also not practicing were OL John Fullington, DB JT Gray, TE Micheal Hoomanawanui, DB Kamrin Moore, C Cameron Tom and RB Shane Vereen.
Earl Thomas is putting the pressure on the Seattle Seahawks for a new contract, saying he will not participate in any team activities until his contract situation is resolved.
That includes the upcoming mandatory minicamp.
The three-time All-Pro safety posted a lengthy statement on social media Sunday, saying he wants ”certainty in regards to the upcoming years of my career,” before he takes part in any Seahawks related activities. Thomas is entering the final year of his current deal signed before the 2014 season. He is scheduled to make $8.5 million in base salary in 2018.
Seattle opens its minicamp on Tuesday, and Thomas could face fines of about $84,000 if he skips all three days. Last week, coach Pete Carroll said he expected all players that had been skipping the optional team workouts – most notably Thomas, defensive end Frank Clark and cornerback Byron Maxwell – would be in attendance for the minicamp.
Clearly Thomas has a different idea of where things stand with the team that selected him No. 14 overall in the 2010 draft.
Thomas said after eight seasons he Youth Martavis Bryant Jersey , ”earned the right to have this taken care of as soon as possible.” Thomas has spoken openly of wanting a new deal since the end of last season, when some of his antics gave hints he wanted out of Seattle. In his statement, Thomas said he wants to remain with the Seahawks for the rest of his career.
Toward the end of last season there was some visible dissention. There was a brief rift with linebacker Bobby Wagner, who has become the vocal leader of Seattle’s defense with the departures of Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril and Richard Sherman this offseason. And Thomas caught everyone’s attention when he chased down Dallas coach Jason Garrett following Seattle’s win in Dallas and told the Cowboys coach, ”If they kick me to the curb, come get me.”
Seattle made the decision before April’s draft it would move forward with Thomas in 2018. Thomas was the one player under contract that could have landed Seattle a bounty of draft picks, but Carroll and general manager John Schneider held on to the star safety despite the contract uncertainty.
Thomas just turned 29 and was an All-Pro between 2012-14. Thomas had his 2016 season cut short by a broken leg, but he returned last year to play in 14 games with 88 total tackles and two interceptions.
”I’m going to continue to work my craft and put in work so that I can add to the team and give us the best chance to win,” Thomas wrote. ”I hope my teammates understand where I’m coming from. I believe this is the right thing to do.”

Denard Span came to the plate in the eighth inning http://www.49ersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-cassius-marsh-jersey , knowing the situation was why the Seattle Mariners traded for him three weeks ago.
The veteran outfielder kept his cool and stroked a pinch-hit double that scored two runs, leading the Mariners to a 7-6 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Friday night.
Span, batting for Guillermo Heredia with one out, hit a liner to the right-field corner off Matt Barnes (0-2) after Ryon Healy walked and Ben Gamel singled to left.
”I just tried to stay calm as possible,” Span said. ”Kind of a calm angry. This is huge for me. I’m the new guy around here and I just want to help these guys as much as I can and feel like I’m one of them.”
The Mariners acquired Span and reliever Alex Colome from Tampa Bay on May 25.
”He’s a huge addition to our club,” said Seattle manager Scott Servais. ”He has so much experience in those situations, so he understands how to slow things down. We’re going to have a lot more situations like that this season.”
Ryan Cook (1-0) got the win with a scoreless eighth inning and Edwin Diaz earned his major league-leading 26th save by working the ninth.
But Rob Whalen Corey Seager Jersey , who was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday, was the difference, pitching four scoreless innings of relief.
”This team is unbelievable,” Whalen said. ”It felt like a World Series game out there tonight. I just wanted to do whatever I could to keep us in the game.”
It was the 20th time this season the Mariners have come from behind to win. Seattle is 22-10 in one-run games.
Xander Bogaerts hit a three-run homer as part of a six-run third inning that gave Boston a 6-3 lead, but a spectacular defensive play by Seattle second baseman Dee Gordon on a hard-hit ball up the middle by Bogaerts that ended the sixth inning kept the Red Sox from adding another run.
The Mariners led 3-0 when Boston sent 11 men to the plate and had six hits and walk to chase starter James Paxton. The Mariners also committed two errors in the inning.
Paxton entered the game with a 0.39 ERA and 2-0 record in three previous starts against the Red Sox. Five of the six runs against Paxton were earned. He also threw two wild pitches.
”Pax had good stuff tonight, we just didn’t help him,” Servais said. ”The defense was shaky early. Paxton has carried us this year Patrick Corbin Jersey , so it was nice to get him off the hook.”
Boston tied the game at 3 on four singles and an error by third basemen Kyle Seager, before Bogaerts hit his 11th home run.
”We had a good inning and got a lot of runs,” Bogaerts said. ”But that one big hit, seems like Span always does that against us. I remember when he did it at Tampa early on in the year. Same thing down the same line.”
Jean Segura gave the Mariners a 1-0 lead in the first inning when he launched Rick Porcello’s fastball over the scoreboard in left field, a 420-foot shot. Seattle made it 3-0 in the second.
Mike Zunino knocked in two runs, including his 11th home run of the season to start the bottom of the seventh and cut it to 6-5 before Span came through one inning later.
”With him, you have to attack Falcons Game Jerseys ,” Boston manager Alex Cora said of Span. ”He keeps working the count. He’s a veteran guy. If you’re ahead, you have to bury him and we didn’t.”

NBA great Ray Allen tells the "AP Sports Weekly" podcast that the players who step up to take the big shots in the playoffs do so because they refuse to be overwhelmed by the moment.

"Those great players in the league will do that consistently Avonte Maddox Jersey Eagles ," Allen told podcast co-hosts Jim Litke and Tim Dahlberg. "They continue to do their jobs and don't let the circumstances get the better of them."
Allen also talks about his new autobiography "From the Outside: My Journey through Life and the Game I Love" and gives his opinion of the playoffs so far. Also joining Litke and Dahlberg is football guru Ross Tucker, who talks about the NFL draft and who he thinks will be the first quarterback selected.
