wide receiver Cooper Kupp sustained an MCL sprain on Sunday against the Denver Broncos:During the game Brandin Cooks Jersey Elite , Kupp was horse collar tackled by Broncos safety Darian Stewart. After the injury, Kupp was carted off the field but did return to the game. He tried to play with the injury but was removed from the remainder of the game as a precaution according to Head Coach Sean McVay.Currently there has not been a timetable set for Kupp’s return, though an injury of this magnitude typically sidelines players for multiple weeks:The Rams will more than likely move Josh Reynolds into the rotation. Woods will more than likely play more snaps in the slot with Reynolds handling the outside work. It will be interesting to see if the Rams decide to increase tight end Gerald Everett’s workload since he is more of a receiver than blocker at this point of his career and this could be the best chance for his snap count to increase.Next up the Rams will play the San Francisco 49ers. Two illegal hits cost David Onyemata more than he made for playing in New Orleans' season opener. The Saints defensive tackle was fined $40,108 by the NFL on Friday for two roughing-the-passer calls — $20,054 for each of the penalties — in a 48-40 loss to Tampa Bay last Sunday. The first came in the third quarter on an incomplete pass by Ryan Fitzpatrick, when Onyemata violated the new rule requiring defensive players to avoid putting their full weight on quarterbacks. The second occurred during a 36-yard touchdown catch by DeSean Jackson in the fourth quarter when Onyemata made contact with Fitzpatrick's helmet.Onyemata http://www.losangelesramsteamonline.com/brandin-cooks-jersey , in his third NFL season, makes a base salary of $630,000 this season — or $39,375 per game.Onyemata was one of several players fined $20,054 for roughing the passer in the league's opening weekend, joining the Los Angeles Rams' Aaron Donald Authentic Robert Woods Jersey , Minnesota's Sheldon Richardson, Atlanta's Grady Jarrett and Dallas' DeMarcus Lawrence.New England safety Duron Harmon was fined $26,739 for his hit on Houston wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, which drew a flag for unnecessary roughness.Los Angeles Rams cornerback Marcus Peters has to pay $13,369 for his excessive celebration after returning an interception during which he jumped backward into the end zone and grabbed his crotch against Oakland.Pittsburgh cornerback Artie Burns was fined $13,369 for removing his helmet and slamming it to the turf after a scuffle with Cleveland wide receiver Jarvis Landry.Miami defensive end Andre Branch was docked $10 Robert Woods Jersey Elite ,026 by the league for taunting after a blindside block of Tennessee left tackle Taylor Lewan, who suffered a concussion on the play. After an interception of Marcus Mariota, Reshad Jones was returning down the sideline in the third quarter when Lewan was pursuing him. But Branch hit Lewan from the left side and knocked him to the ground, causing a shoving match between the teams.Branch was later caught by television cameras shouting, "Body bag!" at Lewan as the offensive lineman left the field and headed to the locker room. Branch was not flagged for the hit, but was penalized for taunting — as was teammate Jordan Phillips http://www.losangelesramsteamonline.com/robert-woods-jersey , who was also fined $10,026.Cincinnati safety Shawn Williams was fined the same amount for his late hit on Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck. He was ejected from the game for the penalty. Also fined $10,026 by the NFL on Friday were Jets rookie Parry Nickerson (taunting), Baltimore's Matt Judon (unnecessary roughness), Buffalo's Dion Dawkins (unnecessary roughness) and Jacksonville's Yannick Ngakoue (facemask) and Cam Robinson (unnecessary roughness).

in the season opener seemingly validates the Ravens' effort to address their shortcomings of a year ago.Joe Flacco threw touchdown passes to each of his three new wide receivers Buffalo Bills Hoodie , the defense was relentless in its debut for coordinator Don Martindale and special teams chipped in with a pair of field goals and a 51-yard punt return in a 47-3 rout Sunday. For one day, at least, everything went according to plan."It's great to see it unfold," running back Javorius Allen said. "It's like a flower, and it blossomed."The Bills, on the other hand, had virtually all of their fears come true. They got nothing from the quarterback position, couldn't move on the ground and never recovered after falling behind 14-0 in the rain before the game was 14 minutes old."We got off to a very bad start. It seemed like we came out flat," running back and team captain LeSean McCoy said. "Collectively, we didn't play well. It wasn't one guy's fault, it was all of us."Most of the scrutiny fell on starting quarterback Nathan Peterman, who went 5 for 18 for 24 yards and two interceptions before being replaced by rookie Josh Allen in the third quarter. And now, one game into the season Cheap Customized Buffalo Bills Jerseys , there's a quarterback controversy. Coach Sean McDermott will consider his options carefully leading up to Sunday's home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers."I'm going to look at everything," he said. "It's too early to go one way or another."There was plenty of blame to throw around after Buffalo failed to make a first down until the third quarter and was penalized 10 times for 100 yards."It was a full, total team effort there," he said. Some things we learned about the Ravens and Bills:BALANCED ATTACKAlthough the Ravens have always had a reputation for an aggressive defense, their new-look offense helped pave the way for a lopsided win.Six players scored touchdowns, including receivers John Brown , Michael Crabtree and Willie Snead, who were signed as free agents to upgrade an ineffective passing game."It's just awesome because, in my opinion, we have one of the best defenses in the league," Snead said. "Nobody really expects us to put up those kind of points and be as dominant on defense as we are."The defense appreciated the assist."To be a good team you need a good special teams, a good offense and a good defense," linebacker Terrell Suggs said. "You can't have one without the other two."NO O-LINEAfter losing veteran center Eric Wood and Pro Bowl left guard Richie Incognito www.billsfootballauthentics.com , as well as trading away left tackle Cordy Glenn, the Bills hoped their revamped offensive line could jell in a hurry. It did not. The ground game sputtered and Buffalo yielded six sacks."There were times when I thought we could have been better up front," McDermott said.ONE DOWN, 15 TO GOLest anyone forget, the Ravens blanked Cincinnati on the road in last year's opener, a victory that ultimately proved meaningless in a 9-7 season."You can't tell anything by one game," Suggs said. "We got one in the can on our home field. It's only one game. We think we can get better."Despite playing without suspended cornerback Jimmy Smith and injured tackle Willie Henry, the Ravens were dominant on defense."The guys that played did a phenomenal job," Suggs said. "We have a couple of pieces out and we're looking forward to getting those pieces back."GETTING DEFENSIVEBuffalo was banking on a newly configured defensive line to limit the run, but the Ravens crossed up the Bills on a wet field by throwing the ball early."We thought they were going to try to run the ball more than they did, especially with the weather conditions," said defensive end Trent Murphy, an offseason free agent addition. "That was the biggest surprise."SACK HAPPYCornerback Tavon Young became the first Ravens defensive back to get two sacks in a game since Bennie Thompson in 1996.Young revealed that he hadn't had a sack since his freshman year at Temple."That's crazy Buffalo Bills T-Shirt , isn't it?" he said with a grin.Buffalo Bills suffer worst season-opening loss ever, but not worst blowout There were very few positives to take away from Sunday’s demoralizing, inept, season-opening 47-3 loss by the Buffalo Bills to the Baltimore Ravens at rainy M&T Bank Stadium. The Bills managed to go the ENTIRE first half without recording a first down, while allowing Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense to score five times and pile up yards en route to a 26-0 halftime lead. Nathan Peterman proved once again that preseason stats are meaningless. After putting up one of the best preseasons of any quarterback in the league, Peterman regressed big-time, completing only five of 18 passes for 24 yards, two interceptions, and an abysmal quarterback rating of 0.0. The vaunted secondary, supposedly this team’s strength, allowed Baltimore to easily convert a 2nd and 26 on the first drive of the game that set up the Ravens’ first touchdown, and looked out of sorts all game against a middle-of-the-road Baltimore offense. The day after the entire Bills unit seemed to sleepwalk their way through the opener, if Bills fans are looking for the tiniest bit of good news from Sunday’s debacle Buffalo Bills Hats , it is this: the 47-3 throttling at the hands of the Ravens wasn’t the worst loss in franchise history. That dubious distinction belongs to the 2007 Bills, who were thoroughly dominated at home by Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and the New England Patriots, 56-10 on Sunday Night Football. It was, however, the worst opening day loss by Buffalo, “besting” a 27-3 shellacking to the New York Titans (now the Jets) in 1960, the first game in team history when both squads belonged to the American Football League. Thankfully for Bills fans, Stephen Hauschka’s 35-yard field goal late in the third quarter ensured Buffalo wouldn’t suffer its third season-opening shutout, a feat accomplished in 1977 (a 13-0 loss to the Miami Dolphins) and 1983 (a 12-0 setback to the Dolphins).

The San Francisco 49ers could be welcoming back a big piece of their secondary. Cornerback Richard Sherman is dealing with a calf injury Youth Mike Person Jersey , but is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Arizona Cardinals, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.Sherman suffered his calf injury in Week 3, and sat out last week against the Chargers. He was a DNP this past Wednesday, and then listed as limited on Thursday and Friday. He was listed as questionable, and I suspect the team will make their final decision after pre-game workouts.Sherman has been the 49ers most consistent cornerback, bouncing back impressively from his 2017 Achilles tear. He said the calf injury is not connected to it, but lower leg injuries are going to keep us at least a little bit wary. For now, Sherman is good to go and might have a busy day against Arizona. Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk lead Arizona in receptions and yards, and Sherman is going to get at least some time against one or both of these guys.If Sherman does start, the question then is who plays opposite him. Ahkello Witherspoon opened the season as the starter opposite him, but has been replaced at times by Jimmie Ward. Additionally, Greg Mabin has impressed and is expected to get some work on Sunday. We might see a three-person platoon opposite Sherman. It was New Year's Day 2006 when Frank Gore first became a 100-yard rusher. And he still is one, which could spell trouble Sunday for the Detroit Lions. The ageless 35-year-old Gore had his most productive day of the season last week when he ran for 101 yards to help the Miami Dolphins beat the Chicago Bears in overtime. Now the Lions must tackle the challenge of facing the NFL's leading active rusher.Detroit has a leaky run defense, and Miami will again be without quarterback Ryan Tannehill , which could mean another busy day for Gore."He's definitely a guy they can kind of rally behind," Lions coach Matt Patricia said. "Frank has done an unbelievable job of taking care of his body and executing at a high level for a long time. He has an edge about him that has been able to carry him all the way through his career. He's always proving everybody wrong."While the Dolphins (4-2) will try to beat an NFC North team for the second week in a row, the Lions (2-3) are coming off a bye and three games into a stretch of 10 consecutive games against opponents now at .500 or better. Here are things to know about teams meeting for only the 12th time:THIRTEEN SEASONS LATERGore was a 22-year-old rookie when he first ran for 100 yards for San Francisco in the final game of the 2005 season, and last week he did it for the 46th time. That made him the fifth player since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 to have a 100-yard rushing game past age 34, joining Emmitt Smith, Marcus Allen http://www.the49ersfootballauthentic.com/laken-tomlinson-jersey-authentic , John Riggins and MacArthur Lane."I told him I wish I could have played with him 10 years ago," teammate Ja'Wuan James said, "just to see how that would have been."By one measure Gore is actually better now. Sharing carries with Kenyan Drake, he has an average of 4.9 yards per carry this season, his best since 2009."You can't think about age," Gore said. "You've got to continue like you're a young man out there."He might be able to do that against the Lions, who gave up 152 yards rushing to Ezekiel Elliott, 138 to Matt Breida, and 102 to Isaiah Crowell. Patricia's defense ranks third worst in yards rushing allowed per carry and per game. While Gore battered the Bears, Brock Osweiler threw for a career-high 380 yards subbing for Tannehill, sidelined with a throwing shoulder injury.Handing off to Gore was a kick, Osweiler said."That's something I'll never forget," he said. "Watching a future Hall of Famer from the field level is pretty special."NO SWEAT?While the Lions are 0-2 on the road, the Dolphins have won their first three home games for first time since 2002. Last week, Miami rallied from an 11-point deficit in the final 16 minutes of regulation against the Bears, who tired in 89-degree sunshine."We like playing at home, I know that," Dolphins coach Adam Gase said. "We like it hot. The other team wears down eventually, and we just keep fighting."The forecast for Sunday is 87 in Miami, compared with 47 in Detroit. Of course Youth Adrian Colbert Jersey , the Lions play indoors at home."We're not going down there to play the weather," Lions safety Glover Quin said. "We're playing the Dolphins."BALL HAWKSThe Dolphins have never led the NFL in interceptions, not even in the days of Jake Scott and Dick Anderson. But they rank first this week with 11, two more than they had all of last season."We're just hungry for the ball," safety Reshad Jones said. The secondary will be tested by one of the NFL's best trios of wideouts, and by Matt Stafford, who threw four interceptions in opener but has only one since.INCONSISTENTThe Lions recovered from an awful start with wins over Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers . If they play to the level of their competition, that would be good, because their next seven opponents are 22-11-1."We can play with and beat anybody," Quin said. "But we can also be beaten by anybody."REAL ESTATEMichigan native Gase and his wife lived in Dearborn when he was a Lions assistant in 2003-07. They sold their house there just in the past couple of years, although Gase is fuzzy on details of the transaction."I just remember my wife rented it out, and then that was the last thing I heard about it, and then all of a sudden she was like, 'Hey, I sold the house,'" Gase said. "I'm kind of not real good with the economic aspect of anything, so that's on her."AP Sports Writer Larry Lage contributed to this report.

weekend against the Colts http://www.billsfootballauthentics.com/micah-hyde-jersey-authentic , they’ll have to worry about possibly not having their best running back. For now, it’s expected that he will be able to play.In Buffalo on Sunday, Jacksonville tailback Leonard Fournette left the sideline during an altercation and threw an open-handed punch at an opponent. That brings a pair of infractions into play — unsportsmanlike conduct for leaving the sideline and unnecessary roughness for the punch.Per a source with knowledge of the league’s procedures, a suspension currently isn’t expected for Fournette, who was ejected for his behavior. The final decision will be made on Monday by Jon Runyan, who is responsible for the initial decisions made for on-field misconduct.Last year, Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch was ejected and later suspended both for leaving the sideline during a fight and making contact with an official during a Thursday night game against the Chiefs. Lynch’s decision to enter the fray despite not already being on the field was a factor in the suspension and in the decision to uphold the suspension on appeal.Buffalo Bills fantasy football preview, Week 4: LeSean McCoy is back The Buffalo Bills were left for dead after two weeks, having been outscored 78-23 in losses to the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers. Then http://www.billsfootballauthentics.com/stephen-hauschka-jersey-authentic , they traveled west and destroyed the Minnesota Vikings, winning 27-6 in a tremendously important road game. With such wild inconsistency, predicting which Bills are fantasy football-worthy is incredibly difficult. Last week, we projected solid days for quarterback Josh Allen and running back Chris Ivory, which turned out to be right. In the weeks before, however, we were hoping for strong days from the likes of wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (nope) and running back LeSean McCoy (still nope), but we were ultimately let down. With the Bills traveling to the not-yet frozen tundra of Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers this week, Bills fans are feeling far more optimistic than they were a week ago. Which players are worth starting in fantasy football this week? I suppose that depends on just how confident you are.QB Josh AllenAfter watching last weekend’s masterful performance from the rookie http://www.billsfootballauthentics.com/star-lotulelei-jersey-authentic , I’m all-in. Allen scored 27.74 points last week, good for fifth among quarterbacks in the week. Yahoo! has Allen projected to score 15.19 points this week, placing him at QB27. He’s only projected to outscore fellow rookies Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold, as well as San Francisco 49ers starter C.J. Beathard. Allen has surpassed his projection in each of his two pro starts, and while he might not have the same kind of production running the football that he did last week (10 carries, 39 yards, 2 touchdowns), the potential for extra points via the run makes him a good bet to surpass his projection yet again. If he can combine another solid rushing game with some hits in the deep game (as opposed to the near-misses he’s seen on long passes in the last two games), Allen will provide surplus value for those who have him on their fantasy roster.RB LeSean McCoyMcCoy is off to an incredibly slow start http://www.buffalobillsteamonline.com/lorenzo-alexander-jersey , though some of that has to do with the rib-cartilage injury he suffered during Buffalo’s loss to the Chargers. After rushing for 110 yards in the 2017 season opener, McCoy endured a similar swoon, rushing 67 times for 169 yards over Buffalo’s next four games. Once the offensive line found its footing, however, McCoy was able to rally and finish the year with 1,138 yards on the ground. He has to start turning his year around somewhere, and against a Green Bay defense that allows 124.3 yards per game on the ground and 4.7 yards per attempt, it’s the perfect time to do it. While he may not play as many snaps as he would if were completely healthy, expect McCoy to be effective on Sunday.Bills D/STThis is a weird hunch http://www.buffalobillsteamonline.com/jeremy-kerley-jersey , but I think Buffalo is going to be able to stop the Packers from running the ball, and I also think that they’ll be able to pressure superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is nursing a knee injury. As a result, the Bills could end up with a few sacks on the afternoon. If Tre’Davious White is able to smother the Packers’ top wideout, Davante Adams, then the stop unit could be in for another solid day.

Fired shortly after Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals Cheap JK Scott Jersey , former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy didn't get a chance to say goodbye to the team he coached for most of the past 13 seasons. On Wednesday, back into Lambeau Field to speak to the team, and the players bid him farewell with a standing ovation."He held it together as much as you can," third-year defensive tackle Kenny Clark said on Thursday. "It was emotional. It was emotional for all of us. Mike came in, and we were surprised he was even coming in. Seeing him, gave him a round of applause and thanked him. He was emotional about it, we were all emotional about it."Linebacker Clay Matthews spent all 10 NFL seasons with McCarthy."I was happy to see him," Matthews said. "Obviously, first thing's first, you understand that this is a business and not many people get that opportunity. For him to invest the past 13 years in this team Cheap Randall Cobb Jersey , has given his heart and soul to us, to have that kind of closure, it was great of the organization."I know we really enjoyed it. I'm sure he did from a closure standpoint. Obviously, we gave him the respect he deserved and sending him off with some final words."The Packers enter Sunday's home game against the Atlanta Falcons having lost five of the past six games to tumble to 4-7-1. Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, who were only 2-9 at the time, sealed McCarthy's fate.Less than three hours after the game ended, the team announced McCarthy's firing.Wednesday's return provided some closure."Mike came by the office, I think Tuesday we all saw him as a staff, which was great," Philbin said. "Then we talked Cheap Kevin King Jersey , and he wanted an opportunity to speak with the team. I was 100 percent, fully supportive of that, and he did a fantastic job talking to the team."Not just about football and winning football games, but his passion. His passion for the game, his love for the players was clearly evident. I'm sure it was emotional for him and everybody in the room. It was awesome. I thought he did a great job."The Packers reached the playoffs eight consecutive seasons spanning 2009 through 2016, a streak at the time matched only by the New England Patriots. However, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers missing most of the 2017 season with a broken collarbone, the Packers finished 7-9. The return of Rodgers for this season failed to return the Packers to championship contention and, ultimately, cost McCarthy his job."It was great" to hear from McCarthy on Wednesday http://www.packerscheapstore.com/nick-perry-jersey-cheap , receiver Randall Cobb said. "It was great that he had that opportunity. I think he's given a lot to this organization."Unfortunately, that's a part of the business, not only for players but for coaches, for everyone. Changes happen. This is a business, at the end of the day. They made a business decision."Notes: Clark was the Packers' nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which recognizes one NFL player for outstanding community service activities off the field as well as excellence on the field. "I was really happy. I always try to help people out and I always try to give back. For the Packers and everybody to recognize it, it's cool." ... RG Byron Bell (knee) and RT Bryan Bulaga (knee) missed practice for the second consecutive day. LS Hunter Bradley (ankle), who was injured on Wednesday, did not practice, either.Thursday Cheese Curds: The clock is ticking for Packers on the bubble With the 2018 NFL preseason almost 75% complete http://www.packerscheapstore.com/davante-adams-jersey-cheap , time is running out for players on the roster bubble. For the Green Bay Packers, this year’s cut from 90 to 53 players will be one of the toughest to make in several years. Thanks to increased and intense competition at several positions plus the emergence of several unknowns during the first two preseason games, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst will have his work cut out for him come September 1. This means 37 players are now entering their final week as Packers (save some that will compose the team’s practice squad). The final two preseason games will be their last chance to shine and earn a spot on the active roster.Who will back up Aaron Rodgers? What will the starting offensive line look like? How many wide receivers will be kept and who will they be?These are just a few of the questions Gutekunst and head coach Mike McCarthy will be forced to answer in just over a week. There are a lot of positions still in toss up phase, especially the backup quarterback battle. Who will emerge victorious? Check back at 3 pm on September 1 when rosters must be cut down to 53 players. You can read more on the bubble battles and more in today’s cheese curds.Final exhibitions loom large for multiple Packers on the roster bubble—PackersNews.comWill the fullback go extinct in Green Bay? Could the Packers keep an extra tight end thanks to Robert Tonyan’s stellar preseason? These are good problems to have but still pose quite the conundrum. I’m glad I’m not Gutekunst right now.In Year 13, Marcedes Lewis remains an open book—Packers.comGreen Bay is banking on Lewis plus Jimmy Graham to offset the loss of Jordy Nelson. It looks like it has a decent chance to pay off.Aaron Rodgers is worried about the new helmet rule—Packers WireRodgers, like most of us, is concerned on how officials will be able to effectively enforce the rule. One of these penalties are going to swing a game. Let’s just hope it’s not against the Packers and in a game of consequence.Packers are not shopping Randal Cobb—NFL.comYou may have heard the rumor about the Packers shopping the veteran receiver. Not the case, says NFL.com.News conference shows Urban Meyer still doesn’t get it—ESPN Apparently winning is more important to the Buckeyes than properly handling a domestic abuse case. The cowards at the university should be ashamed of themselves but they’re not. They’ll just continue to collect paychecks and Urban Meyer will continue coaching. What a joke that program is.

as they departed their fall meetings on Wednesday. So was Commissioner Roger Goodell. That's easy to do when TV ratings are up http://www.sanfrancisco49ersteamonline.com/dante-pettis-jersey , viewership across all digital media is strong, scoreboards are practically exploding with all the points being scored, and the number of close games through six weeks has been eye-catching.There's also the prospect of attracting billionaires from other sports when NFL franchises hit the market now that a cross-ownership ban has been lifted. Going in the other direction, the football billionaires are free to purchase teams in baseball, hockey or basketball that are not located in their NFL areas."I will leave you with something that I have said to the owners many times," Goodell said. "I don't think there has been a better time to be an NFL fan. The quality of the games and the enjoyment that comes with that, I hear it from the fans all the time — that is No. 1 for them. No. 2 is the access to the games and the way that fans are able to engage with the NFL. There are more platforms and more opportunities to do that. The experience is better because of technology. All of that creates a much better opportunity for our fans to enjoy football and NFL football."From our standpoint, we look at this as a great moment for us: the tremendous growth and the tremendous popularity of our game."There are storm clouds ahead, though. The unilateral policy the league put together in May barring players from demonstrating against social and racial injustice on the sideline during the national anthem remains in limbo. The players' union and its members fought back against the policy that would allow players to remain in the locker room during "The Star-Spangled Banner," but they could not kneel or sit by team benches during the anthem. And while Goodell correctly cited the strong and widespread community involvement being done by the league and players, the protests haven't gone away, nor should the players be penalized for expressing their concerns.Colin Kaepernick http://www.sanfrancisco49ersteamonline.com/earl-mitchell-jersey , whose kneeling during the anthem soon was embraced by many of his peers, hasn't been with a team since 2016. That comes down to the individual teams, of course, and not the league itself, and it's uncertain that Kaepernick would return to the field if given the opportunity. But does anyone truly believe that opportunity might come? There's also been a fan and media maelstrom — with complaints by coaches and players, both publicly and privately — about the inconsistency of officiating. When a defensive player admits he let up on a hit to prevent getting a roughing-the-quarterback call, that's a bad sign. Those defenders have little idea what is a foul anymore. One week, lowering the helmet to initiate contact, by the offense or the defense, draws a flotilla of yellow flags. Another week, when "incidental contact" is added to the equation, the penalties decrease exponentially. To its credit http://www.sanfrancisco49ersteamonline.com/solomon-thomas-jersey , the NFL is trying very hard with its rules to make the game safer. One mechanism for that is consistency with implementation of them.Another way of keeping players healthier and safer would be by increasing the size of rosters on game day. The Colts went into a recent meeting with the Patriots minus five starters and lost a few more during the defeat. It's difficult enough trying to win in Foxborough with a full complement of players. With third-stringers on the field, well, give Indy credit for not getting entirely blown out.The senseless requirement that seven of the 53 active players be declared inactive on game day can lead to more such inequities. If teams are paying 53 guys, let them all suit up.Indeed, as we move forward, the union would be wise to seek expanded rosters, and not just for the added salaries. That would help make the game safer, in part because fewer banged-up guys would wind up on the field. Also ahead, albeit not until 2021, is the expiration of the labor agreement. Already, both sides are building "war chests" for the likely lockout or players' walkout. Neither the owners nor the players have displayed an inclination for at least preliminary peace talks, if you will. Then again Authentic Laken Tomlinson Jersey , why would they at this point, with so many indicators looking so positive?Live updates from Kyle Shanahan, C.J. Beathard Week 5 Wednesday press conference The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice on Wednesday, beginning preparations for their Week 5 home matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Quarterback C.J. Beathard made his first start of 2018 in place of an injured Jimmy Garoppolo. He looked solid on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, and the 49ers head into Week 5 a favorite over the Cardinals.Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media at 12:25 p.m. and he will be followed by Beathard. The locker room will be open after that, and then the team hits the practice field at 1:25 p.m.The 49ers will stream the press conferences Twitter, Facebook, and the team’s app. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from the media sessions. www.49erscheapstore.com , game thread It is time for another exciting weekend of college football! Today we have eighteen of the top twenty five teams in action. There is an intriguing matchup consisting of two SEC teams (#2 Georgia at #13 LSU) as well as a PAC 12 showdown between #7 Washington visiting #17 Oregon. Both matchups could have major college football playoff implications. As of last weekend the San Francisco 49ers have one of the best odds of landing the number one overall pick. It remains to be seen where there 49ers will be selecting in April, however it is safe to assume that pass rusher is the top priority. Almost two months in, and this college football season is showing us that this pass rushing class could be a special one. That is great news for John Lynch and the scouting department. For now, sit back, relax, and enjoy the college football festivities...and of course鈥s always鈥ay the force be with our 49ers!For this week, Josh, Alex, and Greg each picked two players to talk about. All prospects highlighted are featured today; nonetheless, feel free to drop in the prospects you are watching. All game times listed are PT. Josh EcclesByron Murphy, CB, No. 1 - Washington Height: 5’11” | Weight: 180 lbs. | Projected 40 Time: 4.41 #7 Washington at #17 Oregon | 12:30 p.m. (PT) Saturday, October 13th (ABC/WatchESPN)Aside from the play of Richard Sherman, the secondary of the 49ers this season has - at best - been shoddy. There is a lack of awareness, discipline, and (at times) ball skills. Enter Huskies cornerback Byron Murphy. Murphy lacks the size that would boost his ability to provide support against the run but makes up for it with his undeniable knack for being a ball hawk. Through 6 games the redshirt sophomore has broken up nine passes and, more impressively, four times over the past two years, he’s had three breakups in a single game. He’s young and still growing into his body as he currently stands at 5’11” and 180 lbs but the Huskies have still been able to rely on his production on the defensive side of the ball as they’ve climbed their way up to #7 in the country. They’ll look to continue their PAC-12 dominance against an Oregon team coming off an impressive win against California.Damien Harris, RB, No. 34 - AlabamaHeight: 5’11” Weight: 215 lbs. | Projected 40 Time: 4.48 Missouri at #1 Alabama | 4:00 p.m. (PT) Saturday, October 13th (ESPN/WatchESPN)Matt Breida is becoming a solidified cog in the Kyle Shanahan offense but the jury’s still out on whether or not Jerick McKinnon can even stay healthy enough to be counted on for an entire season. Why not add some depth to a position of dire importance? Damien Harris is one of those runners who is able to gain yards at will - the same kind of runner who, given some improvement in the passing game - would thrive in this offense.Harris is coming off back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons and has accumulated a total of 361 yards on 51 carries (7.1 ypc) and 3 touchdowns so far in 2018. The Crimson Tide suddenly have an elite passing game which has led to them relying less on running the ball - and maybe the best thing about Harris is his modest workload, meaning there’s plenty of tread on the tires. He’s never carried it more than 146 times in a season and he’s averaging fewer than 10 carries this year. Alex EisenKendall Sheffield, CB, No. 8 - Ohio StateHeight: 5’11” | Weight: 194 lbs. | Projected 40 Time: 4.32Minnesota at #3 Ohio State | 9:00 a.m. (PT) Saturday San Francisco 49ers T-Shirt , October 13th | FS1This season Kendal has recored 12 tackles, 6 passes defended, and 1 interception. Sheffield is one of the fastest players in the nation and should be a candidate in the 40 yard dash at next year’s NFL Combine. Sheffield runs smoothly and fluidly through his hips, and picks up momentum and speed while defending deeper routes. He is a lock-down cornerback who plays physical in coverage. Last season he recored 40 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 9 passes defended, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries. Has a well-round skillset for the position and possess good instincts and ball awareness. Along with his speed, Sheffield has demonstrated his ability on tape to cut receivers off on their route, while breaking up their momentum and even eliminating them from the play altogether. I do have some concerns about his size, and it seems that scouts and evaluators would like to see him bulk up and add some weight before transitioning to the next level. As for the 49ers, there are question marks in the secondary, particularly at the cornerback position. Richard Sherman is not going to be around long-term and the jury still seems to be out on Ahkello Witherspoon. Sheffield isn’t going to be among the first handful of corners drafted, but he has the skillset that should transition smoothly at the pro level. A third round pick would bring great value to perhaps the fastest player in college football.David Montgomery, RB, No. 32 - Iowa StateHeight: 5’11” | Weight: 216 | Projected 40 Time: 4.54#6 West Virginia at Iowa State | 4:00 p.m. (PT) Saturday, October 13th | FS1Last season David Montgomery recored 1,146 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns, as well as 36 receptions for 296 yards receiving. Montgomery is an elusive back, with the ability to make quick cuts to evade oncoming defenders. Will break defenders ankles, and has demonstrated the ability to change directions on a dime. Has balanced, body control, with a good blend of upper and lower body strength. Has good vision and run instincts and will follow his lineman, looking for the open holes and lanes when carrying the ball. He trusts his feet, and has a strong initial burst up the middle. Will challenge opponents on contact and will often fight for additional yardage. Can be dangerous in the open field. On tape, he made opponents miss on multiple occasions with his quick cuts and change of direction. There are some concerns on tape about his pass blocking. Montgomery will look to improve in this area San Francisco 49ers Hats , particularly with his hands and how he positions himself in the backfield during passing plays. Overall, there is a lot to like about Montgomery, who at the moment is a day two selection in next year’s draft should the true junior declare. The San Francisco 49ers will have question marks at the running back position next year. With Jerick McKinnon recovering from an ACL injury the 49ers might be wise to select another back in next year’s draft.Greg ValerioLandis Durham, DE, No. 46 - Texas A&MHeight: 6’3” | Weight: 255No. 22 Texas A&M vs. South Carolina | 12:30 p.m. (PT) Saturday, October 13 | SEC NetworkAnother week, another edge defender highlighted - wonder what theme I am trying to convey. Nonetheless, Landis Durham is another speedy quick-twitch edge defender that displays great skills in rushing the passer. A converted linebacker, Durham has shown the capacity to improve and is continuing his impressive play from the year prior. He explodes off the edge blowing past defenders with speed, quickness, great balance, body control, and change of direction skills. Durham is a slippery player penetrating through gaps and stunts with great closing speed playing with bad intentions, and jets off the edge with athleticism, speed, and bend. A pass rush specialist, Durham will need to gain functional strength at the next level as he struggles to shed stronger defenders and is easily moved by power.KeeSean Johnson, WR, No. 3 - Fresno StateHeight: 6’2” | Weight: 202Wyoming vs. Fresno State | 7:30 p.m. (PT) Saturday, October 13 | ESPNUKeeSean Johnson is not a freakishly athletic wide receiver with explosive game breaking speed. He is, however, a good-sized dependable chain-moving receiver with consistent high production and a strong work ethic showcasing his capacity to improve each year. Johnson is a fluid route runner with a smoothness and sound technique to his game. He showcases great explosion off the line and displays nice bend on breaks coming out quickly with great suddenness and decent burst. He flashes strong reliable hands and is a natural pass catcher with excellent ball skills. Johnson wins in intermediate routes and although he does not possess elite speed, he does win deep match-ups with technique, length, body control, superb ball skills, and high pointing the catch with great athleticism. Johnson is the type of prospect one can find deep in the draft adding tremendous value at the next level. The San Francisco 49ers pass rush emerged in a big way last week against the Oakland Raiders. The team racked up seven sacks San Francisco 49ers Hoodie , with Cassius Marsh and Dekoda Watson combining for four of them. The Raiders are a bad football team, but entering the game, their offensive line was ranked in the middle of the pack in Football Outsiders’ adjusted sack rate.Marsh has shown talent since joining the team last year, but has been inconsistent in getting to the quarterback. Watson was primarily a special teams player in his first season with the 49ers, also serving as backup at the SAM linebacker spot. This offseason however, the 49ers worked Watson into an edge rusher role. He was still a backup at SAM, but the team wanted to mix him into the LEO role.Watson suffered a hamstring tear in practice prior to Week 1, and was placed on injured reserve. He returned last week, and he credits weight loss for his big performance in Week 9. He went on a mostly vegetarian diet to cut from the low 270s to 246 pounds, which is closer to the kind of weight the smaller edge rushers can bring in this defense.Considering Watson spent the first half of the season on injured reserve, it would make sense he would be particularly fresh in his return to action. And facing players who had seven games under their belt, that would give him an edge. He’s 30, so it’s hard to see him developing into something he has never really been before, but the thought is moderately intriguing.Watson is playing at a lower weight, and maybe that can put him in a position to at least modestly break out as a pass rusher. Through the first eight years of his NFL career, he had four total sacks. He has 1.5 sacks in his first game back, and he gets to face a bad New York Giants offensive line in Week 10. One more full sack will give him a single season career high. The rest of the season, the 49ers face some shaky offensive lines. After the Giants, they face the Bucs (currently 19th in adjusted sack rate), Seahawks twice (27th), Broncos (16th), Bears (14th), and Rams (8th). If the weight loss is actually giving him an extra speed edge, I’ve got to think he’s got at least one more sack in him.Watson is signed through the 2019 season. He’s not going to suddenly emerge as the dominant edge presence the 49ers will be building around for the future. But maybe he can provide a little something this season that provides some much needed depth next year if they invest a high draft pick or big bucks in an edge rusher.

NFC North Rundown Womens Kenny Clark Jersey , Week 3: Surprising results add mystery to the divisional chase On a day in which many NFC North fans were left in awe by the outcomes around the division,r a sloppy 31-17 loss to the Washington Redskins. With the loss, the Packers (1-1-1) at least momentarily have slipped out of a tie for first place in the division as they look to right the ship against the Buffalo Bills this week. But that task may not be as easy as once anticipated. The Bills shocked the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday with a dominating victory on the road. Left in rather unfamiliar territory, the Vikings’ defense will be forced to regroup after a day of confusion, especially in the secondary.Minnesota wasn’t the only surprise in week three, as the Detroit Lions pulled off a commanding upset of the New England Patriots after two humiliating defeats to start the regular season. Matt Patricia’s win over Bill Belichick for his first NFL victory as head coach couldn’t have come at a better time, with the Chicago Bears assuming sole possession of the lead in the divisional standings with a comeback win of their own.All in all, the results of week three leave NFC North fans uncertain about who the real contenders are and those stories are in today’s rundown.Detroit Lions (1-2)Won 26-10 vs. New England; Next at DallasDominant upset of Patriots gives Lions’ season hopeIn one of the biggest surprises of the week, Detroit “out-Lioned” the Patriots, according to Ricky Jean-Francois Authentic Clay Matthews Jersey , as Matt Patricia recorded his first head coaching win against his old boss. Also, the “Lucky 13s” and a strong offensive line allowed for a much-needed strong performance in Detroit.Minnesota Vikings (1-1-1)Lost 27-6 vs. Buffalo; Next at LA RamsWhere did that come from? Against all odds, Bills destroy Vikings in stunning fashionHere is a recap of the Bills’ shocker that left the Vikings in what the author calls a “purple daze” heading into a tough matchup with the Rams.3 Stats That Stood Out: Bills at VikingsA startlingly low number of rushing attempts was one of three very pivotal factors playing into Minnesota’s downfall against Buffalo.Defense’s miscommunication allowing big gains for Vikings opponentsComparisons can be made between the Viking defense that was uncharacteristically torched in the 2017 NFC Championship Game and the one that was beat badly Sunday against the Bills. All position groups, especially the nickel corners are to blame for the breakdowns.Chicago Bears (2-1)Won 16-14 at Arizona; Next vs. Tampa BayGame Recap: Bears win thriller in ArizonaBehind a second-half rally and four defensive takeaways, the Bears took a game from the Cardinals in addition to the lead in the NFC North.Khalil Mack’s dominance has Bears in Mitch Trubisky predicamentWhile the defense continues to impress in Chicago, the Bears are searching for some sense of consistency from Trubisky, who turned the ball over twice while showing a lack of accuracy and decision-making in the red zone. Training camp is over. The four preseason games are history. Everything each of them could do to make an impression is done, and now the only thing they can do is wait for the cuts to come in and hope that work is enough. We’ll soon find out.Backup quarterbacks experience ups, downs for Packers in 33-21 preseason loss to Chiefs | Packers NewsIf you were hoping for home run performances from DeShone Kizer and Tim Boyle to solidify the decision to move on from Brett Hundley, you didn’t get it Thursday night. While both had their moments, Kizer and Boyle were uneven throughout, leaving the Packers with more potential than productivity behind Aaron Rodgers.Return man Trevor Davis on shaky ground | Packers NewsDavis was praised at length by head coach Mike McCarthy this week, but that praise didn’t materialize into a big performance on Thursday. While his speed has always been electrifying, his on-field performance has left something to be desired. His brief stint caps a remarkable comeback and gives the Packers a dependable option on the right side of an offensive line whose performance this preseason has been anything but stellar. Packers need to go dumpster diving for OLB help | Packers WireBeyond Clay Matthews and Nick Perry, the Packers have no proven options at outside linebacker. Reggie Gilbert’s rise has been impressive, but with Kyler Fackrell and Vince Biegel making up the rest of the top OLB backups, there’s just not much there. Zach Kruse argues the Packers should look outside the organization for more help. What this weekend will teach us about Brian Gutekunst | The Power SweepFacing his first cutdown weekend, Gutekunst’s roster-building philosophy will be on full display. Who will he cut? Who will he keep? Will he look for new options from around the league? The answers to these questions may teach us quite a bit about how Gutekunst will handle the GM job going forward.

There is a great deal RuneScape gold of people that care about Classic but want to play Old School RuneScape and RuneScape 3 rather, he explained. Everyone is sad to see it go but for the most part I think the YouTube/Twitch side of this RuneScape community is currently recovering from the statement. RuneScape Classic content is a rarity these days with videos about it being generated maybe once every couple days or weeks.

Stock up http://www.giantsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-will-hernandez-jersey , toward their second preseason game, which would put them halfway through the preseason, let’s do a little “stock up/stock down” check on the 90-man roster.Stock upKyle Lauletta What Lauletta’s good game and Davis Webb’s poor one did on Thursday was remind us that Webb’s good play in practice didn’t end the competition to become the backup and potential heir to the throne of Eli Manning. That competition is just getting started. Lauletta, who got a handful of first-team reps during practice on Monday, may have also cracked open the door to competing for the backup role this season.Robert Martin and Jalen Simmons I have no idea if the Giants will end up with room on the roster for at least one of these young running backs, but both showed ability with the ball in their hands vs. Cleveland. Martin, an undrafted free agent from Rutgers, ran five times for 38 Hunter SharpThe wide receiver/return man took all the first-half punt and kickoff returns vs. the Cleveland Browns, and highlighted his evening with a 42-yard kickoff return. The takeaway? Sharp is getting the first opportunity to win the job as the team’s primary return man.John Jerry I still don’t know if the veteran guard makes the 53-man roster. He doesn’t have real positional versatility. He has taken some snaps at right tackle in training camp, but that’s not a spot anyone should want to see him playing during a game that counts. Jerry, though, was solid vs. Cleveland with no pressures allowed in 28 pass-blocking snaps.John GrecoThe 11-year veteran is locked in a competition with Jerry, Zac Kerin and Chris Scott for backup spots on the interior of the offensive line. He showed Thursday that he can still do the job, posting the highest Pro Football Focus grade of any Giants offensive lineman (80.6) in 38 snaps. He allowed no pressures in 28 pass-blocking snaps, and showed versatility by playing both guard and center.Nick Becton A 28-year-old offensive tackle who has not appeared in a regular-season game since 2015, Becton played both right and left tackle vs. Cleveland and allowed no pressures in his 28 pass-blocking snaps. I still believe the Giants will be scouring the waiver wire for a veteran swing tackle, but Becton earned a closer look with his work on Thursday.Kerry WynnThe veteran isn’t really an option as a stand-up outside linebacker in a 3-4. He is also light for a 5-tech defensive end, weighing 265 pounds. Wynn, though, continues to earn his keep as part of the defensive line rotation.Grant Haley The undrafted free agent corner made a pair of nice plays vs. Cleveland, one against the run and one against the pass. In the fight for reserve corrnerback spots, Haley is giving himself a chance.Robert ThomasThe defensive lineman had a sack of Baker Mayfield on Thursday and continued to show why he will likely be part of that defensive line rotation.Avery MossAfter missing the spring while recovering from injury, Moss is showing that he has the skills to be a useful EDGE player. His 89.0 grade in 20 snaps on Thursday was the highest PFF score recorded by a Giants defender.Stock downDavis WebbWebb is still the heavy favorite to be the No. 2 quarterback this season, but much of the positive buzz he generated with solid work in the spring and training camp evaporated into questions with his erratic performance vs. Cleveland. If Lauletta’s stock is up http://www.giantsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-janoris-jenkins-jersey , and it is, Webb’s is down. He needs a bounce-back effort on Friday.Alec OgletreeThere has been a lot of optimism about what Ogletree, acquired via trade from the Los Angeles Rams, would bring to the defense. Well, in just 11 snaps vs Cleveland, Ogletree earned the lowest grade of any Giants defender,a 40.9. Cleveland tight end David Njoku burned him badly for a 36-yard touchdown reception. There is a reason the Rams were willing to part with him. Was Thursday a sign they were rightDarian ThompsonThompson, trying to win the starting free safety job, had only a 45.9 PFF grade on Thursday. He also got hurt, suffering a hamstring injury. Curtis Riley might now have the inside track on that job if he can stay healthy after battling a hamstring issue of his own. Rhett Ellison is never going to step into the New York Giants' lineup at tight end and make people forget Evan Engram. The 29-year-old Ellison is an old-time tight end. He's tough. He's physical. He catches the ball, runs hard and blocks as well.Engram is the more modern version of a tight end. The 23-year old can run like a receiver, break a game open with a catch and help out a little with his blocking, which is not his strongest suit. When the Giants (1-2) face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, Ellison is going to step in for Engram, who sprained his knee last weekend against Houston and is going to be sidelined for a couple of weeks."There's stuff that I can't do that Evan does," Ellison said Thursday before the Giants practiced. "For me, it's just trying to execute the plays and find my role in the play that's called, and try to make a play."Ellison had his best game of the season this past weekend, catching three passes for 39 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown, in a 27-22 win over the Texans.Odell Beckham Jr., who leads the Giants with 24 catches for 271 yards, said all the receivers are going to have to step up to replace Engram, who led the Giants in receiving last season."Rhett http://www.giantsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-connor-barwin-jersey , we call him Mr. Consistent. I do, at least," Beckham said. "He always seems like he's in the right place at the right time, always making the plays, so everybody's got to step up."Ellison has spent a lot of time this week talking with Engram, who had 10 catches for 104 yards and a TD this season."A lot of people sleep on Rhett," Engram said. "He's definitely a teach-tape in the blocking game. The dude is a really good athlete and makes plays in the pass game too. So, no need to give him any speed. He was moving on some plays on Sunday, and I expect him to have a big game this weekend, and through the pass game. I know he's going to take care of his blocks in the run game."Giants coach Pat Shurmur worked with Ellison when both were with the Vikings."I'm fond of Rhett who he is as a player and as a person," Shurmur said. "He epitomizes a player that you want on your team. He's very good at what he does, he can line up anywhere, he finds a way to make plays. Some guys just have a knack for that. He finds a way to make plays. Very trustworthy and very tough, and he's wired like a football player, and that is what you're looking for."Shurmur even equated Ellison's toughness with that of Mark Bavaro, the outstanding tight end who was a member of the Giants' Super Bowl-winning teams after the 1986 and '90 seasons. The comparison was somewhat funny because Bavaro made a name for himself early in his career carrying a half-dozen San Francisco defenders on a 31-yard pass play in the '86 season."One of which was my dad," Ellison said, whose father Riki was a linebacker who played a decade in the NFL. "So, I'm sure my dad is not happy about this comparison."Ellison said he isn't approaching this game any differently than others in his seven-year career. He is spending time with backup tight ends Scott Simonson and rookie Garrett Dickerson to make sure they are up to speed. Engram is working with them, too."He definitely has been picking my brain a lot this year," Engram said of Ellison. "So have I with him in blocking and stuff. I have all the confidence in him. Like I said, I feel like I'm a vet sometimes when that happens. He's like the young kid asking me for help and stuff."NOTES: CB Eli Apple (hamstring) returned to practice on a limited basis. LB Olivier Vernon (ankle) was also limited. DT Damon Harrison (knee), RB Jonathan Stewart (knee) and WR Cody Latimer (knee) missed practice for the second straight day.

In Madden, such as the real NFL, a particular play ends if your whistle blows. But here, you are able to actually result in the poor bastard who had the ball wish he may go back to just being buried under an avalanche of Madden Overdrive Coins sweaty, mud-and-blood covered man bods. For instance, you may rip his helmet off and smash it into his face a half dozen times. This not simply affects his performance with the rest on the game, it’s sadistically satisfying.

I usually try to not read into things too much Ray-Ray Armstrong Jersey , but I must be honest and admit that an alarm bell sounded this week regarding right tackle Ereck Flowers and his preparation for the Jaguars game.First a little context. In the past, many players have told me that mastering the mental part of the game is more than 50 percent of the battle on game day. To do that, you have to be sharp in the classroom, demonstrating that you know your assignments inside and out. You also have to be willing to spend the extra time studying the film of your opponent, as the more you learn about him, the better prepared you can be.That brings us to this past Monday when Flowers, after sleeping on things following his rocky showing against the Jaguars the day before, came out to speak with the media. One of his responses that kind of stuck out like a sore thumb was in response to a question concerning his tripping penalty on the first play of the game.“Yeah, it was a quick pass, so I jumped out there too fast on it,” he said before dropping his bombshell.“Next time I know what type of player I’m against. He’s not really a speed guy, so next time I won’t jump out so fast.”Wait, what? Seriously, wouldn’t studying the tape have offered a clue as to what type of player he was facing before he went out there? If that wasn’t enough to make you go “Hmmm,” then how about this response from offensive coordinator Mike Shula Thursday when asked if he felt like he’s going to have to give Flowers blocking help. (Emphasis added.)“Everything ties in together. Guys have to win one-on-one’s. You’re going to have times where you’re going to slide. You want to mix your protections up whether you’re keeping your backs and tight ends in or free releasing them, not being predictable. 鈥?“To start with, guys got to know what they’re doing, know where their help is, got to get the ball out on time and then when we have backs or tight ends helping out, chipping on the way out or involved with protection, we got to do a good job with that too.”I’m really not sure how to take the comments by Flowers and Shula. I’d like to think neither was admitting that there was a lack of preparation, but given what we saw last week Janoris Jenkins Jersey , if that was the case, then shame on that player for taking a shortcut.Say what? I wanted to revisit a comment head coach Pat Shurmur made during his Wednesday press conference that left me confused. The comment was in response to a question about potentially falling to 0-2 because of how detrimental that might be in making the playoffs (which, as the 2007 Giants team will tell you, isn’t necessarily the case).Shurmur’s response to that question/statement was, “We don’t worry about that. That’s fun for everybody to talk about outside the building. “We didn’t do enough in the first game to win the game, and we’re working to do what we can to win this next one. Period. End of story. All that stuff is fun for everybody to talk about, but we don’t worry about that.”Considering that this next game is against a division opponent where the game can ultimately count for an extra half step in the standings if there is a tie, how can you not worry about falling to 0-2 when the next game on your schedule is a division opponent that can put you at that record?I kind of get where Shurmur was trying to go with his response — he’s said many times he lives in the moment. But I’m not sure his attempt at separating the next game from the 0-2 record went over quite the way as planned. Let’s calm down about Sam Darnold for nowI know Ed is going to touch upon this topic at some point, and I don’t want to steal his thunder, but I must weigh in here on the Sam Darnold-Eli Manning debate because I think it’s simply ridiculous that there even is a debate at this juncture.Seriously, I think we need to temper our enthusiasm about Darnold until he plays in several games and opposing defenses get some quality film on him in the Jets system before we go getting his bust ready for Canton. That’s not to say Darnold won’t become a very good player, but to sit there and compare him with the more accomplished Manning is just ludicrous at this point. The New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers get to entertain the nation on Monday Night Football in a few days. To learn more about the 49ers, we turn to David Fucillo of Niners Nation to answer our “5 questions” this week.Ed: The Giants and 49ers are both bad. Everything around the Giants seems negative, but at least from the outside it seems like there is some positivity around the 49ers? Does that seem right, and if so what is it attributable to?David: I don’t know that I’d call it positivity, so much as not being super-concerned about the team’s record. It’s disappointing losing six straight games, and it’s disappointing to not be competing for a playoff spot, but losing Jimmy Garoppolo is a built-in excuse. Don’t get me wrong, the 49ers have their problems that would have existed even with a healthy Garoppolo and a healthy Jerick McKinnon. The defense is inconsistent at best and is the worst in the league at forcing turnovers. The pass rush has been bad. The wide receivers have some upside, but have been fairly pedestrian to date. This team has problems it needs to address in the offseason and the personnel acquisition record of John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan has been hit and miss. The Garoppolo trade was critical to the rebuild, Mike McGlinchey is proving to be a stud at right tackle, and George Kittle is turning into one of the best tight ends in the game. However Kerry Wynn Jersey , Solomon Thomas has not broken out into his second year, and Reuben Foster has regressed badly while dealing with a shoulder injury. The free agent moves have not gone particularly great overall, although there has been value in guys like Marquise Goodwin and Richard Sherman. And yet, I think most people are comfortable with the process thus far. Once Garoppolo went down, we quickly began looking ahead to 2019. As for the team itself, it’s been nothing but praise for how Kyle Shanahan has handled a tough season. The 49ers players know this is not an overnight change, and Shanahan deserves credit for keeping them fairly even-keeled even as losses pile up.Ed: Nick Mullens. A nice one-game story or a kid you think can really be a viable starting quarterback for an NFL team?David: It sure helps facing the Oakland Raiders in your debut! I don’t know if an NFL team ever fully gives up, but the Raiders came about as close as one could to doing so in that game. The Giants defense is shaky enough that he could build on that performance, but it’s too early to say if he can emerge as a real starting QB option. A big weakness for him is arm strength, and we saw that show up when he was trying to hit his pass catchers on out routes. He can get the throw to them, but it’s a little slower, which means it’s easier to break up. I have to think the Giants will game-plan to force him to make some tougher throws. The big positive I took away was his performance against blitzes. Mullens only faced six blitzes, and was 4/6 for 85 yards and a passer rating of 149.3. I have to think the Giants will bring the heat a bit more than that to test the young QB. C.J. Beathard struggled big time when pass rushers got in the way, regularly throwing passes that were knocked down. That could happen with Mullens as well, but for one game he looked great against pressure.I doubt he is the next coming of Tom Brady because we all know how rare a talent Brady was. Odds are good he will have some decent games this year and eventually regress to backup form at best. I’m hoping the 49ers have found a diamond in the rough, but I’m keeping my expectations low.Ed: If you could take one player off the Giants roster and put him in San Francisco’s lineup (other than Odell Beckham or Saquon Barkley) who would it be? Why?David: On offense, minus Beckham and Barkley, I’d probably go with someone like Sterling Shepard. The 49ers had a great slot receiver last season in rookie Trent Taylor. He had offseason back surgery and has not been the same since. 2018 rookie Richie James is getting some work in the position, but overall, the 49ers are not getting enough from the slot, or from their wide receivers in general. Shepard appears to be getting work both inside and outside, and could be an intriguing option for the group. On defense http://www.giantscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-curtis-riley-jersey , y’all traded away players faster than the 49ers might have claimed them. Eli Apple would have been a potential choice. With the current roster, I might look at someone like Olivier Vernon. The 49ers edge rushers have struggled big time, finally showing up this past week against a bad Raiders team. Dekoda Watson and Cassius Marsh are not long-term answers off the edge. Vernon is not getting home to the quarterback, but he’s an interesting option for the 49ers to consider. I might also look at safety Landon Collins as the 49ers safeties have been inconsistent and dealing with a host of injuries.George KittlePhoto by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty ImagesEd: Who is the best player on the 49ers roster we probably know little to nothing about?David: It’s probably tight end George Kittle. He leads the 49ers in receptions and receiving yards, and is third and second in those two categories among all NFL tight ends. He is force in run blocking as well, making him arguably the most complete tight end in the NFL for the time being. He’s in only his second season, so if you want to argue about completeness, he’s arguably the most complete for his experience level. The 49ers spent a fifth round pick on him in 2017. He came from an Iowa offense that struggled to do a whole lot of much, and that coupled with a foot injury limited him to 22 receptions for 314 yards and four touchdowns in his final season. He flew under the radar, but he is quickly emerging as a player to watch this season. He’s got solid speed and plenty of physicality to handle most any defender at this point. He will likely earn a Pro Bowl nod this season, and could end up second team All-Pro.Ed: How do you see this game playing out? You don’t have to predict an exact score if you don’t want, but what are your expectations for Monday?David: On offense, it all comes down to Nick Mullens. He needs support from the ground game, but Mullens is as big an X factor as anybody in the NFL at the moment. He had a monster performance against the Raiders, but they’re the Raiders. I have no idea what to expect against the Giants, but I have to think the Giants will find new ways to test him. My guess is the 49ers offense is able to get enough done to get a win, but there is a fair amount of guess work given Mullens being the quarterback. On defense, a potentially rejuvenated (or just “juvenated” since they were fairly non-existent much of the first eight games) pass rush will look to get home against Eli Manning. Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard appear to be performing quite well this season, and present a serious challenge to a shaky 49ers secondary. The 49ers can win this game if they get home to Eli Manning and keep him from getting comfortable. The spread is a field goal, and I think this game ends up pretty close to that. I’ll go with a 23-20 49ers win.

http://www.authenticsnewyorkgiants.com/cheap-b.j.-goodson-jersey , New York Giants fans. Let’s hand out our final “Kudos & Wet Willies” of the preseason following Thursday’s 17-12 loss by the Giants to the New England Patriots.Kudos to ...Donte Deayon — Two interceptions, four passes defensed, three tackles. Yeah, he earned himself a roster spot.Chris Lewis-Harris — Same with Lewis-Harris. If he wasn’t secure in making the roster before Thursday, he should be now. No splash plays, but he was solid all night. His coverage was good, his open-field tackling was solid. That’s what you want from a reserve cornerback.Jhurell Pressley — Signed by the Giants mostly just to help get them through the final two preseason games when injuries hit the running back position, Pressley has seized the opportunity. He had 7 carries for 40 yards (5.7 yards per carry) Thursday and caught all 3 passes thrown to him. Could he emerge with a surprising spot on the practice squad?Robert Thomas — Had a sack, a quarterback hit and 3 tackles. Thomas polished off a nice season that should see him make the 53-man roster by having a nice game.James Bettcher — Just because it was fun to see the defensive coordinator go all sorts of ballistic after New England quarterback Danny Etling ran 86 yards for a touchdown on a bootleg.Amba Etta-Tawo — After an excellent spring and solid beginning to training camp, the young wide receiver had been quiet in the preseason. Thursday, he took a short pass from Kyle Lauletta 41 yards for a touchdown. Perhaps that secured him a spot on the practice squad.Wet Willies to ...Marshall Koehn — Missed another extra point Thursday. That was his second miss of the preseason. He won’t make the team, and kicking like that won’t find much interest from the other 31 teams.Preseason replay challenges — Pat Shurmur and Bill Belichick each challenged calls during the game. Booooooooooooooooo!!! C’mon, guys. The idea was to get the game over with, not stretch it out.Helmet rule — The Giants were penalized three times, at least two on calls that looked completely ridiculous. A flummoxed Shurmur said after the game “Some of the plays now, we’re getting flags that if those aren’t part of the game, I don’t know if we have a game.”Kwillies to ...Kyle Lauletta — Thursday was a great opportunity for Lauletta to get some much-needed extended playing time. Unfortunately, he didn’t do a lot with it. While Shurmur believed his night was better than his 8-of-19, 1 touchdown http://www.authenticsnewyorkgiants.com/cheap-kerry-wynn-jersey , 2 interception stat line indicated there were some missed opportunities. New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles. Two teams, and fan bases, that largely don’t like each other. With a game between the NFC East rivals looming Thursday, let’s venture into enemy territory and learn some things about the Eagles. Brandon Lee Gowton of Bleeding Green Nation answers our 5 questions.Ed: What is your assessment of the Eagles thus far? I thought they would win this division in a cakewalk, and they still might, but I’m surprised to see them at 2-3.Brandon: It’s safe to say the reigning Super Bowl champs have been a disappointment through the first five games of the season. This has been a team that just can’t stop shooting themselves in the foot. Take their most recent loss to the Vikings for example. After finally starting to string a promising drive together, Lane Johnson allows Carson Wentz to get strip-sacked and Linval Joseph recovers for a touchdown. Then they get another drive going and actually move into the red zone but Jay Ajayi fumbles at the 5-yard line. The Eagles recover a fumble at the Vikings’ 30-yard line with a chance to take the lead and then proceed to knock themselves out of scoring range by taking an illegal formation penalty followed by a grounding call. Mistakes are always going to happen during the game but it feels like the Eagles continue to make theirs at the worst times. Part of the reason the Eagles haven’t been able to get out of their own way is they have a number of position groups that are underperforming. The offensive line is arguably the biggest disappointment in this regard. After having one of the best lines in the league last season, Philly’s front is suddenly struggling to protect Carson Wentz. The third-year quarterback has been sacked 12 times and hit 27 times during his first three games back from ACL injury. I certainly don’t need to lecture Giants fans on the importance of offensive line play.Jim Schwartz’s defense isn’t off the hook, either. The Eagles’ secondary has been far too leaky. Philadelphia ranks 26th in big-play rate allowed. In the Eagles’ past two games, opposing quarterbacks have combined for 60/80 (75% completion), 645 yards (8.1 average), 4 TD, 1 INT, and a 98.8 passer rating. Put simply, the Eagles just aren’t playing like a good team right now.Ed: How much are they hurt by the loss of Jay Ajayi, and if the Eagles are indeed interested in a LeSean McCoy reunion is that something you would be in favor of?Brandon: Losing Jay Ajayi is significant because he’s the Eagles’ most talented running back, when healthy. The problem is he hasn’t been healthy this year. Prior to tearing his ACL, he suffered a fractured bone in his back during Week 2. I don’t know how he managed to play through both that AND a torn ACL against the Vikings, but that just goes to show you he’s one tough dude.Ajayi is the Eagles’ leading rusher this season with 184 carries and three touchdowns on 45 attempts. He hasn’t been Philly’s most efficient ball-carrier http://www.giantsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-will-hernandez-jersey , though. Surprisingly, fourth-string running back Wendell Smallwood leads the team in rush average at 6.0. In addition to his 150 yards on 25 carries, he’s logged 10 receptions for 96 yards and one score. He’s far from an elite back but he deserves some credit for stepping up.With Smallwood playing well and Corey Clement returning, I’m not ready to flat out panic about the Eagles’ running back situation. Those guys can be at least solid behind an Eagles offensive line that’s struggled in pass protection but has looked good while run blocking. But there’s certainly a lot of room to improve and getting a top weapon like Le’Veon Bell or LeSean McCoy would be really nice right now. The Eagles’ offense rank 28th in big-play rate. They need more play-makers.From a football standpoint, I think McCoy could make sense for the Eagles depending on the cost. From a personal standpoint, I don’t love the idea of rooting on McCoy given all the off-field stuff that’s going on with him.Ed: Where do you think the Eagles have a clear advantage in this game?Brandon: Well, in theory the Eagles’ defensive line should be able to get to Eli Manning. The Giants’ offensive line ranks 24th overall by Pro Football Focus. Football Outsiders, meanwhile, has New York ranked 31st in run blocking and 26th in adjusted sack rate. It seems like the Giants should struggle against an Eagles pass rush that’s generating the highest percent of plays where the opposing quarterback has been under pressure (57%), per PFF. The Eagles could very well make life difficult on Eli Manning and force him into some bad throws and/or sacks.Ed: Where do you think the Giants could have an advantage?Brandon: On the other hand, the Eagles’ pass rush didn’t really faze the Giants last year. Manning had two of his best games of the season against Philly. The Giants were able to get the ball out quick and it felt like the Eagles couldn’t stop the same slant route that the Giants were running over and over. The Giants should even be more difficult to defend now that Odell Beckham Jr. is back. You can be Pat Shurmur will try to get OBJ matched up against Eagles starting cornerback Jalen Mills, who has struggled this season. During last year’s Week 3 Eagles-Giants game, Mills was targeted a whopping 21 TIMES. New York saw a weakness and they tried to exploit it. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them go after Mills again this year.Ed: If you could have one player off the Giants roster for the Eagles NOT named Saquon Barkley or Odell Beckham, who would you take?Brandon: I’ll take Landon Collins. The Eagles are dangerously thin at safety right now with Rodney McLeod out for the season and veteran backup Corey Graham now dealing with a hamstring issue. Philadelphia’s three healthy safeties include: Malcolm Jenkins, Avonte Maddox, and Deiondre’ Hall. Jenkins is obviously a great player. Maddox isn’t even a real safety. The rookie cornerback never played on the back end of the defense until two weeks ago. The Eagles acquired Hall during final cuts and he hasn’t seen any defensive playing time despite the fact Philly is depleted at safety. Collins would fill the Eagles’ biggest need. I also considered Damon Harrison because he’s dominant and the Eagles are getting nothing out of their defensive tackles not named Fletcher Cox. Sterling Shepard would also help an Eagles wide receiving corps that’s not giving the team a ton right now.

Limited Andre Tippett Jersey , not that he needs to play more. The Broncos (2-2) haven't had a takeaway since the season opener, and the fulcrum of Denver's defense said the solution is simple: "I've got to get some sacks."Miller said if he can get to the quarterback like he did in the opener, when he dumped Russell Wilson three times, he can either force a fumble or a bad throw."I've got to play better. I've got to do better," Miller said. "... We've got some big-time games coming up and I've got to be big in those."Miller, who leads the Broncos into the Meadowlands to face the Jets (1-3) on Sunday, has seen his playing time dip by about 10 percent this season. He's missed more than a quarter of Denver's defensive snaps as his coaches aim to rotate Miller and rookie Bradley Chubb, the fifth overall pick in the 2018 draft, with Shaq Barrett and former first-round pick Shane Ray."If you want me to, I can play the whole game," cracked Miller, who has only done that twice in his eight-year career, against Cincinnati last season and at New Orleans the year before."I mean, it's just different this year . It's not me and DeMarcus (Ware) and the no-game guys behind us anymore," Miller said. "It's not like that. We've got big-time players between me, Chubb, Shaq and Shane."It's just tough. You have to find ways to get Shaq and Shane in there. I have to find ways to get on the field during crunch time and in the clutch, which I am in there, usually."Miller said this formula will keep all four pass rushers fresh and fit for the long haul."We just have a special situation here. We've got four great pass rushers and it would be a total injustice to have Shaq and Shane on the bench," Miller said.Miller has played 74.2 percent of the snaps this season. That's a significant drop from the 84.2 percent clip he's played over his previous six seasons (not counting the games he missed in 2013), and at that rate, would work out to the lowest percentage of his career. It wouldn't be too far from the 76.2 percent of snaps Miller played in 2015 when he led the Broncos to a Super Bowl win, however. That year, he was at his best in the playoffs, pulverizing Tom Brady in the AFC championship and Cam Newton in the Super Bowl.Miller's highest percentage of plays came in 2013 after he returned from a six-game suspension to start the season and logged 92.6 percent of the snaps before a knee injury sidelined him and forced him to miss that year's Super Bowl.Miller's heavy workload and weight gain that year may have contributed to his injury Irving Fryar Jersey Salute to Service , and both his physique and playing time have slimmed down since. He's averaged 880 snaps a year since his knee injury in 2013 after logging a career-high 962 snaps the year before he got hurt. He's on pace for 808 snaps this season.Statistically speaking, Miller has been quiet since racking up four sacks in the first two weeks of the season."It's a tough league and the sacks, they definitely come in bunches," Miller said. "I mean, I started the season off with three sacks and I'm like, 'Man, I'm going to get 45 sacks this season. It's going to be easy. And next game, I get two sacks and get one taken away and I'm like, 'Man, that would have been five sacks in two games."He's been held without a sack the last two weeks, both losses, including a 27-23 heartbreaker against Kansas City on Monday night in which Miller had just one tackle and couldn't bring down Patrick Mahomes, who switched the football to his left hand , then shot-putted it to Tyreek Hill with Miller dragging him down for a key first down on the Chiefs' game-winning drive .This week, Broncos coach Vance Joseph called out his coaching staff and his star players — although not by name — to do better after Denver cratered in crunch time against Kansas City."There weren't enough sacks on the quarterback," Joseph said. "We made maybe two plays on the ball the entire night. We need more. We need more from our main guys on both sides of the ball."When those comments were relayed to him, Miller showed he's not overly stressed about his sack slowdown."I mean, in my heart I feel like, you know, my mom always told me since I was a little boy that I was her star," Miller said. "And I just try to go out there and be the best player I possibly can be." The New England Patriots might be playing their most interesting game of the season on Sunday night. The Pats will be welcoming the undefeated, red hot Kansas City Chiefs to Gillette Stadium, and they will attempt to figure out a way to slow down Patrick Mahomes and the seemingly unstoppable Kansas City offense. As of right now, the 5-0 Chiefs are the best team in the AFC, and Mahomes already looks like a superstar.Luckily for the Patriots John Hannah Jersey , they are fresh off of two home victories against the Dolphins and the Colts, and they’ve got plenty of momentum heading into Sunday night’s game. But one thing is for sure: this game will tell us a lot about who owns the AFC. If the Patriots can find a way to win this game, it will show that they are still the team to beat in this conference. If the Chiefs win, it might serve as a ceremonial passing of the torch. There’s no doubt that this will be the most must-see game of Week 6, so don’t miss it under any circumstances. With that being said, let’s breeze through some picks for the rest of the Week 6 slate鈥?Home teams in caps, and lines courtesy of OddsShark.com)Cardinals (+10) over VIKINGSI’m definitely going to regret this pick, but 10 points is a pretty big spread, the Vikings have been a disappointment so far this season (they’ve yet to win back-to-back games), and the previously dreadful Cardinals seem to be slightly better with Josh Rosen at quarterback over Sam Bradford. After all, Rosen did finally get them a win last week at San Francisco. I’m taking the underdog to cover.Bills (+10) over TEXANSOnce again, I’m grabbing the underdog and I’m going to regret it. This Bills team is confusing; they definitely aren’t good, but they’ve somehow managed to pull off wins in two of their last three games. Does that make sense?Meanwhile, the Texans have underachieved big time (2-3 with their two wins coming overtime against sub .500 teams). Taking a loss, or at least an overtime win, over Buffalo this week would fit right into this weird season of theirs. Panthers (+1) over REDSKINSOh, look at this. I’m picking a road underdog for the third time in a row. But seriously, don’t be fooled because the Redskins are favored by a point. The Panthers are a couple of rungs above of the Redskins on the NFC ladder, due in large part to having the No. 1 ranked rushing attack in the league at 154 yards per game. That’s because they don’t only have a top tier running back in Christian McCaffery, but Cam Newton is also one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the league, even for a big guy. Panthers are taking this one.Bears (-3.5) over DOLPHINSAfter starting the season at 3-0, the Dolphins were brought back to earth in Week 4 by the Patriots, and they stayed on earth against the Bengals in Week 5. Now in Week 6, they are about to actually get hammered into the earth by that nasty Chicago Bears defense, which is currently second in the league with 18 sacks and 11 forced turnovers.JETS (-2.5) over ColtsRolling with the Jets here for two reasons: they are at home Authentic Tedy Bruschi Jersey , and the Colts do not feature one of the NFL’s premier defensive units. Indy is allowing 27.6 points per game.BROWNS (+1) over ChargersHere is something completely and totally crazy to think about: If it wasn’t for just a couple of small plays going a little differently here and there, the Browns could easily be 5-0 right now. Cleveland obviously isn’t winning any Super Bowls this year, but Baker Mayfield is changing the football culture in this city. The time is now to jump on the bandwagon.Steelers (+2) over BENGALSCincy is 4-1, but most of their games this year could’ve gone either way. Pittsburgh is finally starting to get things together after a slow start, and a good portion of that is due to the talents of running back James Conner. Against the Falcons last week, Conner rushed for 110 yards and racked up 75 receiving yards. He’s helping to keep the Steelers afloat. Meanwhile, I will take Big Ben over Andy Dalton all day, every day.Seahawks (-2.5) over RAIDERSBefore this season, I had faith in Jon Gruden 鈥?for some odd reason that I still can’t figure out. He has turned this Raiders team into an absolute joke. I really shouldn’t be surprised.Oh, and this is also one of those ridiculous international games. London deserves to get Jon Gruden’s team for thinking they should be able to host NFL games.Buccaneers (+3) over FALCONSThe 1-4 Falcons are a mess, and Jameis Winston is back for Tampa Bay. Perfect opportunity to grab the underdog 鈥?because I haven’t already done that enough this week.Rams (-7) over BRONCOSRams, baby. All day, every day. Also, at least one Robert Woods touchdown could potentially help my fantasy team get to 6-0, if Los Angeles needs a little extra motivation.Ravens (-2.5) over TITANSThis probably the most evenly-matched game this week. I’ll go with Baltimore here, just because Joe Flacco is currently on pace for almost 5,000 passing yards this year. He’s doing his best to protect his job from Lamar Jackson.Jaguars (-3) over COWBOYSYou know the Cowboys are in trouble when Ezekiel Elliott is responsible for 41 percent of their offensive production. The kid is obviously very good, but he can’t make this team win on his own.Chiefs (+3.5) over PATRIOTSDon’t miss the game of the week on Sunday Night Football. Bill Belichick is obviously the greatest defensive coach in the history of football, but he’s going to have to cook up something pretty spectacular if he’s going to slow down this juggernaut Chiefs offense.49ers (+9.5) over PACKERSI might be nuts, but 9.5 points seems like a lot for a 2-2-1 Green Bay team. If it wasn’t for Aaron Rodgers, the Packers would probably be 0-5. For the second year in a row, Green Bay might not even be a playoff team.
