The eighteen year veteran finished behind Kyle Rudolph and Robbie Gould. His third place standing earns him a $5,000 donation from Nationwide to the charity of his choosing. This challenge is not to be confused with the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award itself. This challenge is the hashtag that floods your Twitter in the last month or so of the season. The actual award will be given out on the eve of the Super Bowl at the NFL Awards Show and is decided on by a special panel of judges.Peppers has a legitimate shot to win the award thanks to the part he played in relief efforts after Hurricane Florence devastated the Carolina coastlines this fall. He donated $100 Carolina Panthers T-Shirts ,000 of his own money and dedicated a couple of his off days during the season to visit the afflicted areas. His good deeds resemble those that won J.J. Watt the award last year, albeit without the gaudy donation numbers. If Peppers does win https://www.carolinapanthersfanshop.com/hats , he’ll join Thomas Davis as the only Carolina Panthers to ever receive the honor. According to our latest FanPulse survey, a majority (83% Carolina Panthers Hoodie , in fact) of Panthers fans believe our biggest rival is the Saints. The Falcons came in a distant second place with just 17% of the votes. It was a two horse race as the Buccaneers and Seahawks received no votes in our poll.Note: This really isn’t much of a surprise, but I believe if we asked this question in 2015 the Seahawks would have received a decent amount of votes. Probably not enough to overtake the Saints/Falcons Ryan Kalil Color Rush Jersey , but enough to be noteworthy.Aside from being division rivals, I thought it would be interesting to find out why Panthers fans hate the Saints more than any other team. They play in another conference. It’s been a while since they’ve been really good. They sometimes seem to toil in anonymity as far as NFL franchises go. And they are the Cowboys next opponent. The Tennessee Titans come into the game against the Cowboys with many similarities to their host. Both teams are 3-4. Both teams play outstanding scoring defense. Both teams struggle to put points on the board on offense. Both have young quarterbacks who have at times looked like the future Trysten Hill Jersey , and at other times have struggled. So what’s going with the Titans? Let’s check in and see since it’s not a team that is a natural rival and the Cowboys haven’t played the Titans in four years. The Titans come in on a downturn in their fortunes after the starting the season hot. Additionally, they didn’t make a move at the trade deadline. As you can imagine, some of the fanbase is not happy with the team doing nothing at the deadline. The Cowboys fanbase got a little injection of hope when the team traded for Amari Cooper and fired Paul Alexander. We’ll have to wait and see if that pans out or was fool’s gold, but the Titans fanbase Amari Cooper Color Rush Jersey , or at least some of it, seemed resolved to a mediocre fate.So what are some of the issues for the Titans? Well, the play of quarterback Marcus Mariota has been in question. He has been dealing with an injury but seems to be healed up now.One of the biggest concerns for the Titans is their inability to score touchdowns. Mariota was asked what they needed to improve on.It might be tough for them again this week as the Cowboys defense is excelling in the redzone. On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys need to have one guy on their mind.On the back end of their defense Emmitt Smith Color Rush Jersey , they have another pretty good player. Some quick nuggets about the Titans. They don’t run the ball particularly well. They also struggle with passing downfield. You do have to keep an eye on Mariota as he can beat you with his legs like Dak Prescott. The Cowboys and Titans definitely come into this game with a lot of similarities. One difference is the Cowboys made big moves during their bye week, the Titans stood pat after putting out feelers but not liking the prices required to grab a player. The Cowboys are favored by a range of 4 to 6.5 points through various oddsmakers. If Dallas is going to have any chance of making a playoff run, it starts on Monday night. Michael Gallup had no time to celebrate a homecoming victory over the Falcons a week ago. His sister informed the Cowboys receiver after the game that their brother, Andrew https://www.dallascowboysfanshop.com/Roger-Staubach-Jersey , had taken his own life.鈥淭hat was by far the toughest thing I had to do was hear news like that,鈥?Gallup said Sunday in his first public comments about his brother, via Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. 鈥淵ou don鈥檛 know how to think. Just sit there and cry. I just cried. I got in the car with my sister and cried the whole way home.鈥滸allup stayed in Georgia with his family before returning in Jerry Jones’ private plane for Thursday’s game against Washington. He flew back to Georgia in Jones’ plane after the game to attend the funeral Friday.Gallup played 36 of 70 snaps and made two catches for 19 yards.鈥淚t was more of the fact that I need to be there for my team,鈥?Gallup said. 鈥淭hey have always been there for me. I was there for my family. I sat down with my mom and I asked if I was good to come back and play. She said of course https://www.dallascowboysfanshop.com/Tony-Dorsett-Jersey , 鈥榞o have fun鈥? It was very important to me to make that game.鈥

following a 2018 season that did not meet expectations. The team entered with hopes of contending for a playoff appearance Jaquiski Tartt Jersey , but stumbled to a 4-12 record after losing quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a torn ACL in Week 3.Expectations will climb again in 2019, but before we get into that, it’s time to take a look back at the season that was for the current roster. There will be turnover in the coming months, but let’s start the offseason with a stock report on the 49ers roster. We’ll go through each position group and offer stock up or stock down for each player, and then stock up or stock down for the position group as a whole. Today we move on to the safeties.Jaquiski Tartt: Stock downTartt struggled with a shoulder injury in 2018, missing six games before landing on injured reserve for the final two weeks of the season. The 49ers’ starting safety also missed seven games in 2017 after a broken forearm landed him on injured reserve after Week 9. In eight starts, Tartt totaled 42 tackles, four tackles for loss, two pass breakups and an interception in 2018. His 66.6 grade from Pro Football Focus ranked 56th among safeties. Tartt signed a two-year, $13 million extension during the offseason with the 49ers. He’s likely penciled in as a starter at either safety position.Jimmie Ward: Stock way downWard likely won’t be with the 49ers in 2019. The former first-round pick was placed on injured reserve for the fourth time in five seasons after suffering a broken forearm during the 49ers’ Week 12 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ward’s fifth-year option guaranteed him $8.5 million last season, making him the team’s highest paid defensive player. He played a mix of cornerback and free safety with mixed results, only totaling 24 tackles and one forced fumble.Ward heads toward free agency having played 51 of a possible 80 games since being drafted in 2014.Adrian Colbert: Stock way downColbert looked like a diamond in the rough at the close of 2017 and earned a started role heading into this past season. Unfortunately, Colbert regressed significantly in 2018 and was routinely victimized by blown assignments and missed tackles. He also struggled with various injuries before a Week 7 high ankle sprain landed him on injured reserve for the remainder of the season. Colbert registered 21 tackles and one pass breakup in six starts. His 31.7 grade from PFF ranked him 91st among safeties in 2018. Colbert should be seen as a backup as the 49ers look to upgrade at free safety this offseason.Marcell Harris: Stock way upHarris missed most of training camp and the preseason with a hamstring injury. He began the season on injured reserve and didn’t take the field until Week 9 against the Oakland Raiders. The 49ers’ sixth-round pick started the last five games of the season and racked up 20 tackles and four tackles for loss. Harris took advantage of an injury-riddled secondary and made a strong bid for a starting spot in 2019. Antone Exum Jr.: Stock slightly upInjuries to Colbert, Tartt and Ward forced Exum into the spotlight on the 49ers’ defense. He played in 15 games this season and started seven, totaling 41 tackles http://www.49erslockerroom.com/authentic-patrick-willis-jersey , two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and an impressive seven pass breakups. Against the Los Angeles Chargers, Exum kicked off the game with a pick-six of quarterback Phillip Rivers. Exum is headed for free agency in the offseason but played well enough to earn consideration as a backup for the 49ers in 2019.Overall: Stock way downThe 49ers’ safeties, considered a strength in the offseason, is now among the roster’s weakest position groups. The defense fielded eight different safety combinations throughout the season. Colbert disappointed while finishing the season on injured reserve along with Tartt and Ward. Harris showed promise late in the season and will compete for a starting role in the offseason. D.J. Reed played some safety, but his future appears to be at nickel back, for the time being. The 49ers are without a starting-caliber free safety, which is among the defense’s most critical positions. Whether through the draft or free agency, the 49ers need to upgrade at safety if the defense is expected to take a step forward in 2019. It’s time to start scouting the 49ers opponents for 2019. Today it’s the Cleveland Browns.PDTShareTweetShareShare49ers 2019 opponent preview: Cleveland BrownsI remember a few years back when Johnny Manziel was taken in the first round. There were reports later that Kyle Shanahan, who was the offensive coordinator at the time, had Derek Carr ranked first, Jimmy Garoppolo second, and then everyone else. Then Manziel sent a text to then-Browns quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains that he wanted to “wreck the league” in Cleveland. Then-head coach Mike Pettine got wind of it and that was what made the Browns pull the trigger. You know how that story ended. Wow...we’ve come a long way since the Browns were drafting quarterbacks like that in the first round. Somewhere in there I’d like to remind everyone that Manziel managed to beat the Jim Tomsula-led 49ers and still find his way out of the league. Long after that mess, we have Freddie Kitchens in his first head coaching gig. Kitchens began as the offensive coordinator for a handful of games after the Browns had enough of Hue Jackson. While the signing seems a bit premature given Kitchens’ experience as an offensive coordinator Tevin Coleman Jersey , he’s shown quite a bit of promise with the young rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield. They were active in free agency signing over 10 players if you count extensions given out to their roster. But nothing was more high-profile than the trade acquisition of Odell Beckham Jr. The Browns gave up safety Jabrill Peppers, a first round pick, and their second third round pick. After Kitchens, free agency, and that OBJ trade, the Browns appear to no longer be lovable losers. At least on paper. Draft picksRound 2: Greedy Williams(CB) Round 3: Sione Takitaki (OLB)Round 4: Sheldrick Redwine (S) Round 5: Mack Wilson (ILB)Round 5: Austin Seibert (K) Round 6: Drew Forbes (OT) Round 7: Donnie Lewis Jr.(CB)Notable free agent acquisitionsKareem Hunt (RB)Eric Kush (G)Sheldon Richardson (DT)Demetrius Harris (TE)Notable tradesOdell Beckham Jr. — The Browns gave up a first round (17th overall), a third round (95th overall),and safety Jabrill Peppers to the New York Giants in exchange for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Olivier Vernon — The Browns traded guard Kevin Zeitler, for defensive end Olivier Vernon. The Browns have been busy busy busy. That’s just a handful of free agent signings. They signed running back Kareem Hunt. The signing comes after Hunt was released from the Kansas City Chiefs three months prior when video of his [Hunt’s] domestic violence incident surfaced. Behind that, Harris should be a decent tight end. Sheldon Richardson is a good signing as well that should help what is becoming one of the better defensive lines in football. They didn’t have a first round pick thanks to that OBJ trade, but I doubt Browns fans care. The San Francisco 49ers were in the mix for OBJ, but that No. 2 pick was just too expensive to pry from John Lynch’s hands—which was a good move. Their first pick was Greedy Williams. Once seen as an early first round talent, Williams dropped in projections as the pre-draft process wore on. With a season of on-field development he could be a star in this league. I was a fan of Takitaki, and thought the 49ers may look into him but had no idea he would go as early as he did. I thought he’d go in the fifth round at the earliest. Shows what I know. Sheldrick Redwine is another personal favorite as is Mack Wilson who I think the Browns got as a steal. Just one problem with all of this. Williams is talking Super Bowl already. D’oh!The matchupIf there’s one game I’m personally interested in, it’s the 49ers vs. the Browns. The Browns talent on paper compliments everything the 49ers want to do on both offense and defense. It’s also a Monday Night Football game which will make it more fun. And I think “fun” is the right word when describing how this game will go. This will just be a fun game. Right now if I’m looking at both rosters Dante Pettis Jersey , the Browns are the better team—again on paper. I think the 49ers can prove some things in the first three games to show they are ready for prime time and the Browns could be the exclamation point to show they have improved and all that talk about their roster in 2018 wasn’t just talk. The Browns will need to prove that they aren’t lovable losers anymore. They will have a hard road to come in here at 4-0. Their first two games are the Tennessee Titans and the New York Jets, both winnable. But then they have the Los Angeles Rams and the Baltimore Ravens. The Rams are the Rams at this point, and the Ravens will either have an amazing season or be reeling with the league already figuring out this read-option thing. Nick Chubb and Odell Beckham Jr. will need to get going early. That’s a one-two punch that if the 49ers can’t match up to (or for the love of God, not bust coverage on) they will get behind fairly quickly. On the other end, the 49ers can easily play keep-away and just run the ball to keep that duo off the field. Mix a few Mitch Wishnowsky punts (DRINK!) in to keep the Browns playbook limited and maybe they can get by with a field goal. The Browns also could fire on all cylinders and just score, score, score, and have that defense of theirs make the 49ers hate their lives that night. It’s very possible. Of course, with that same offense the Browns have behind Baker Mayfield, this very well could turn into a shootout with Odell Beckham Jr. making Levi’s Stadium his backyard. The 49ers have the firepower to match up to the Browns, but I don’t think they can get this one done. I’m going to go with a Browns win late after a few touchdowns in the fourth quarter to seal this and neither team looks bad in the whole scheme of things.

DENVER (AP) — First Domata Peko Color Rush Jersey , Emmanuel Sanders wagged his right index finger in the face of Rams cornerback Troy Hill . Now, he’s pointing it right at himself after Denver’s fourth consecutive loss. After his taunt came back to haunt the Broncos, Sanders accepted the blame for Denver’s latest loss in a monthlong tailspin that has fans in the Rocky Mountains bracing for back-to-back losing seasons for the first time since 1971-72.“I guess this loss is on me,” Sanders said after the Rams escaped frigid Denver as the league’s lone unbeaten team following a 23-20 win Sunday over the Broncos (2-4), who became the first team in NFL history to allow a 200-yard rusher in back-to-back games.Sanders thought he had a 44-yard TD catch from Case Keenum as he tumbled into the end zone in the first quarter. He sprung to his feet and wagged a finger at Hill.Side judge Brad Freeman threw the flag, calling a personal foul on Sanders for taunting.Ordinarily, the flag wouldn’t have mattered much because the 15-yard penalty would have been enforced on the ensuing kickoff and Brandon McManus, after giving Denver a 7-6 lead with an extra point, undoubtedly would still have booted the ball out of the end zone for a touchback.Upon review, however, it turned out Hill had the last laugh, having touched Sanders before he crossed the goal line. That put the ball at the 1.The penalty pushed them back to the 16.After runs of 1 and 5 yards, Keenum’s throwaway on third-and-4 brought in McManus for a field goal instead of an extra point and his 28-yarder cut Denver’s deficit to 6-3.They never did get the lead and those four points would have made the difference in a three-point loss.“Me, honestly, I feel like the league is getting soft,” Sanders said. “I’m having fun. I didn’t do anything crazy to the guy besides say, ‘Hey, I got you on that play.’ I pointed my finger at him. And they threw the flag.”Sanders said he’s done that his whole career and has never been flagged for it.“It was a great throw by Case, I came down with it, big play, emotions are high. It’s not like I walked up to him and head-butted him or something,” Sanders said. “But it cost my team. We lost by three points. I feel like we could have easily punched that ball in and gotten four (more) points. I guess this loss is on me.”Vance Joseph Demarcus Walker Jersey , who fell to 7-15 as head coach, talked to Sanders on the sideline.“He can’t do that,” Joseph said. “He knows that.”Well, he does now.“I don’t think I did anything too crazy besides point a finger and tell the guy, ‘Hey I got you on that play.’ I don’t see the penalty in that,” Sanders said. “But I learned from it and like I said, it cost my team. I’ve just got to keep chugging along and don’t do it again.”The costly foul from a nine-year veteran came one week after Sanders’ fellow SMU alum, rookie receiver Courtland Sutton , chased down Marcus Maye at the 1 following a 104-yard interception return at game’s end, leaving the Jets safety with the longest such play without a score in NFL history.“We played two of the best teams in the league, the Chiefs and the Rams, and the games came down to crunch time. And that just shows you what kind of team that we are,” linebacker Shane Ray declared. “We’re a great football team.”Not at 2-4 they aren’t.Even Fox play-by-play man Dick Stockton dissed the Broncos by beginning the telecast saying, “the undefeated Rams take on the Denver Nuggets.”Other takeaways from Week 6 included:CUTTING OUT COLINThe 49ers posted dozens of photos on its website of past games against the Packers in advance of their Monday night game without at first including any of Colin Kaepernick, who set an NFL record for QBs by rushing for 181 yards in a playoff win against Green Bay on Jan. 12, 2013, threw for 413 yards in a season-opening win against the Packers in 2013, and led a winning drive in a playoff game in Green Bay on Jan. 5, 2014.“We have fond memories of those games and that should have been displayed on our website,” the team said in a statement after adding images of Kaepernick. “This oversight does not properly reflect the appreciation our ownership and this team have for Colin.”GRONK HONKTom Brady made light of yelling at Rob Gronkowski in an Instagram post following the Patriots‘ 43-40 win over Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. In the second quarter, the sideline microphones picked up Brady yelling at Gronkowski to stand up out of his stance, and Brady ended up calling a timeout on the play.Gronk came up big in the fourth quarter with a stiff-arm that helped him gain 42 yards and set up a field goal that gave New England a 40-33 lead.“Gronk https://www.broncosfanstore.com/Chris-Harris-Jr-Jersey , you can line up however you want if you keep stiff-arming people like that,” Brady said.MISSED CALLSAl Riveron, the NFL’s senior vice president of officiating, acknowledged for a second straight week that officials goofed in not calling a running back for lowering his head and barreling into a defender. In his weekly video, Riveron said Patriots rookie Sony Michel should have been flagged for lowering his head to initiate contact with Colts safety Clayton Geathers in Week 5.A week earlier, Riveron noted that Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt should have been flagged for doing the same thing to Broncos safety Justin Simmons.Although Hunt got away without a penalty, his illegal hit did result in a $26,739 fine.NO EXCEPTIONSRiveron defended referee Clete Blakeman’s crew, which didn’t flag Steelers receiver Justin Hunter for blocking Bengals DB Tony McRae beyond 1 yard past the line of scrimmage on Antonio Brown’s 31-yard TD catch from Ben Roethlisberger with 10 seconds left that gave Pittsburgh a 28-21 win on Sunday.“The contact is initiated by the defender,” Riveron said on Twitter , “and therefore the receiver is not responsible for this contact.”NFL rule 8, Section 5, Article 4 states: “Blocking more than 1 yard beyond the line of scrimmage by an offensive player prior to a pass being thrown is offensive pass interference.”The rule book, however, doesn’t specify an exception for defenders initiating contact. ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Mike Shanahan attended a Denver Broncos practice for the first time since he was fired as coach on New Year’s Eve 2008.“I was glad he was here,” new head coach Vic Fangio said after practice Saturday. “I think it’s good he’s here. Mike’s got a big part in the rich history of this franchise and he’s welcome to come here anytime he wants.”Fangio said he and Shanahan go back a long way “as competitors but not long as friends. We’ve just gotten to know each other the last” several years. In addition to chatting with Fangio, Shanahan spent time talking with team president and CEO Joe Ellis and new offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello, who worked for Shanahan’s son, Kyle, in San Francisco, as well as assistant offensive line coach Chris Kuper Shaquil Barrett Color Rush Jersey , a draft pick of Shanahan’s in 2006.Rookie guard Dalton Risner, who grew up in Wiggins, Colorado, said Shanahan’s visit was a treat.“When I grew up watching the Broncos, I watched Mike Shanahan constantly,” Risner said. “To see him out there, I wanted to shake his hand after practice. I didn’t get a chance to and I think he’s gone already. So, big bummer, but I still saw him watching me practicing out there, which was pretty cool.”Shanahan spent 14 seasons in charge of the Broncos, guiding them to two Super Bowl titles in the late 1990s with John Elway at quarterback. His 146 wins, including the playoffs, are the most in club history.Elway, now the Broncos general manager, toyed with the idea of bringing Shanahan back as head coach last year but stuck with Vance Joseph, whom he fired after a 6-10 season. Fangio replaced Joseph on Jan. 10.Shanahan attended the dedication of the Pat Bowlen Field House adjacent to the team’s practice fields a couple of years ago and was on hand when the Broncos honored their first Super Bowl-winning team during a game against Green Bay in 2015. But this marked his first visit to the main football facilities and practice in 11 years. After leaving the Broncos, Shanahan coached the Washington Redskins from 2010-13.Also on hand for Saturday’s practice was Lloyd Pierce, coach of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.“He’s a friend of mine and him and his staff happened to be in Colorado on a two-day junket and he called and wanted to come down and watch us practice and he’s going to sit and visit with us a little bit,” Fangio said.Notes: TE Troy Fumagalli sat out the Broncos’ first full pads practice with a sore hip and is day-to-day and WR River Cracraft will miss at least a week with an unspecified muscle strain.

Jackson remains a major topic of conversation these days. The veteran receiver has another year on his contract Matt Gay Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jersey , but he has been clear about his frustrations and desire to move on from the team. Whether or not Tampa Bay will let him go and save some money remains to be seen. For his part, quarterback Jameis Winston seems eager to work things out with Jackson. Of course, that’s a two-way street. But Winston is in Atlanta for the Super Bowl and did an interview with Michael Vick on Friday. In the short time the two spent together, Vick asked about Winston’s relationship with Jackson. The young quarterback remained very complimentary of his receiver and spoke as if the two will be on the same team in 2019:Of course, Winston isn’t the kind of guy to openly bash a teammate, so this might not be any indication of the team’s plans for Jackson. The struggle between the two has been well-documented, as they just can’t seem to get on the same page. But with this and the report that new head coach Bruce Arians wants to work things out with the 32-year-old, could there be a good chance of No. 11 giving things another shot? We’ll find that out in the coming months. As far as expectations for 2019, Winston seems focused on letting his actions do the talking.2018 saw Winston dial back his “rah-rah” tendencies a bit. Whether that was a good thing or not has been debated. Some have said he wasn’t allowed to be himself, but others saw his more subdued leadership style as a sign of maturity. Either way, he seems set on working hard and getting the Bucs into contention. When Vick brought up the playoffs, Winston said “it’s necessary.”Elsewhere in the interview, “Jaboo” talked about his new coach, where the team can get better and the weapons on his offense. BOURBONNAIS https://www.thebearsfanshop.com/Jonathan-Bullard-Jersey , Ill. (AP) — When NFL officials visited Bears camp to show a film on rule changes aimed at player safety, inside linebacker Danny Trevathan realized he’d have to alter his style.“Shoot,” Trevathan said. “I was on the film.”One of last season’s most physical and controversial plays landed Trevathan a one-game suspension, and joined several other incidents of brutality in causing the NFL to curtail the use of helmets in tackling.Trevathan’s helmet-leading hit knocked Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams out of a Sept. 28 game and resulted in a two-game suspension — later reduced to one on appeal.Possibly more than any other Bears player, Trevathan must now keep his physical, aggressive style in check.“I’ve got to be able to move on from it and learn the new techniques,” Trevathan said. “The game is constantly changing. That’s what we get paid to do, I guess. I’ve got to take that in my play.”Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio believes it’s a matter of accepting change for all defensive players, and eventually they’ll adjust as with other rules.“One of the most non-football rules ever put into football was the 5-yard illegal contact rule,” Fangio said. “If coaches from the 60s rose from the dead today they would want to go back in their grave with that rule.“And we’ve adjusted.”Bears coach Matt Nagy is seeing signs of Trevathan controlling his play.“There’s a leadership element, which goes without saying,” Nagy said. “There’s a physicality that he brings.”The Bears had what Nagy called their most physical practice of camp Sunday, complete with a full-contact red-zone period. And Nagy noticed Trevathan pulling back at one point when he could have easily smashed rookie wide receiver Anthony Miller.“There was a play today where he could have knocked (Miller) into the stands and he decided not to, and that was in a live period,” Nagy said. “So to me Akiem Hicks Color Rush Jersey , when you see that, I’m going to point that out to the team tonight because that wasn’t stupidity. That was a veteran being smart, not taking out one of our guys.“He knows it’s live, he knows he doesn’t have to prove anything, so just play smart.”Trevathan also views playing under control as a benefit to his own health. This is important because Trevathan has missed 10 games the last two seasons due to injuries, and the defense suffered then without its field general. The effect on the Bears’ defense without him is obvious. In 2016, the Bears allowed 152 yards rushing a game without Trevathan starting seven games, and 98.4 yards in nine games when he started. Last year they allowed an average of 97.5 yards rushing in 11 games with Trevathan and 140 yards a game in five without him.“It’s imperative that I be on that field,” Trevathan said. “I’m not going to let my team down anymore. That comes with a responsibility: just taking care of yourself.“You know plays happen; you get injured. It’s only going to make the defense better when I’m out there because I’m going to push and I’m going to work my tail off and I’m not going to let anybody beat me.”Like the rest of the Bears, Trevathan watched former Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher get inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame over the weekend. Trevathan gained insight from Urlacher’s speech, particularly in regards to overcoming adversity and being a good teammate.“That’s one of the main reasons why I came here — the tradition at linebacker,” said Trevathan, who left Denver as a free agent after 2015. “It’s not an easy job, but like he (Urlacher) said, it’s like the tough stuff makes you grow.“I’m here for a reason Bobby Massie Jersey , and I like playing linebacker for the Chicago Bears.”NOTES: Wide receiver Taylor Gabriel missed Sunday’s practice after suffering a foot injury in Saturday’s session. Nagy called it “day to day” and not serious. It’s "sack a Viking" week here in the Den! "Happy draft day White Danny Etling Jerseys , folks! The first round of the NFL’s annual college player selection meeting — click here for all you need to know about it — will take place today and the New England Patriots have plenty of options at the end of round one: they have the deep roster to go after the best available player, the perfect spot to trade down to acquire additional picks, and the ammunition to move up the board for one of their targets. That’s what the reigning world champions could do, but what should they do? Pats Pulpit’s staff has some answers to this question.Bernd BuchmasserTeams like first round picks because of that sweet, sweet fifth-year option — and the Patriots should take advantage of this and swing a trade. Think about it: the draft is deep in the second round, and New England might also be able to pick up an additional high choice for next year (and a stronger quarterback group) by moving down today. Of course, it always takes two to tango so if a trade-down doesn’t materialize I would go for either a player like defensive tackle Jerry Tillery or offensive lineman Chris Lindstrom.Rich HillI think the Patriots should take the best lineman that’s on the board. If that’s an offensive lineman, like Dalton Risner or Greg Little, that’s great. If it’s a blue chip defensive lineman like Jerry Tillery, that’s great, too. Games are won in the trenches and there are plenty of receivers that will be available in the second and third rounds. What do I think will happen? Get ready for another defensive back in Foxboro...Alec ShaneI’d love to see the Patriots package their first rounder and one of their seconds to move up and grab an EDGE defender, especially if there’s a run on other positions and someone like Josh Allen falls to them in the middle of the round. That said, I look forward to welcoming an interior offensive lineman or a DB onto the team with open arms.Oliver ThomasNo. 36 overall is the highest the Patriots have driven for a wide receiver since Bill Belichick took the keys. But if New England’s war room stays parked at No. 32 overall — and if the D-line likes of Clelin Ferrell, Jerry Tillery and Dexter Lawrence are off the board — it might be time to shift gears. Ole Miss’ A.J. Brown isn’t a shiny hood ornament of a wideout. He also didn’t play tight end at Iowa under Kirk Ferentz. That’s all right. There’s a translatable, big-slot game with Brown that I could see New England valuing more than most at his position.Matthew RewinskiSince all of us have been Mossed by our own draft predictions vs. what Bill actually thinks is important year after year Danny Etling Jerseys 2019 , here’s my best guess at where Belichick’s going to zag when we all expect him to zig: I’m calling off-ball linebacker early. You’ve seen the difference on this defense with Dont’a Hightower on the field vs when he’s in the tub, correct? For as good as Kyle Van Noy’s become once Bill unlocked his true skills, there’s just nothing that makes a Belichick defense tick like the Hightowers, the Mayos, and the Bruschis. And Jerod Mayo wound up retiring at 30 years old once his body finally realized how brutal making 200 tackles a year and shedding hundreds of blockers can be on a man.And really, if we’re being honest, there isn’t a single position group on this defending championship team that WOULDN’T be improved with a shot of prime blue-chip talent. Think about it. Yes, even the secondary, especially if the NFL keeps pushing the game towards Madden scoring levels. If that sounds like a Kool-Aid copout, then, well, it wouldn’t be the first time, and it won’t be the last time.Michael McDermottIdeally they go in the trenches with either a quality OT or DT. Players to watch will be Montez Sweat and Dexter Lawrence, both of whom have considerable flags with Sweat’s heart condition (less of an issue than with Maurice Hurst a season ago) and Lawrence having limited pass rush upside. If those guys are available past 25, go get them. Otherwise NE should look at staying put and going after Jerry Tillery White Derek Rivers Jerseys , Greg Little, or Kaleb McGary (trade back from 32 if McGary is the target) unless they love A.J. Brown. Brown reminds me of Anquan Boldin a lot as a physical Z/slot receiver who had a knack for getting big catches when it mattered most (ask Cardinals or Ravens fans about that). If the players I all mentioned are gone by 32, Patriots should trade back and try to add a pick for next year (ideally a 1st, would be OK with a 2nd). As for predictions, I’ll probably never come as close as I did 3 years ago. That was just a lucky guess. Mark SchofieldIf one of the Iowa tight ends falls into the 20s or so, then I would explore moving up a few spots to grab either Hockenson or Fant. Absent that happening, I think the move is to address either the offensive line or the defensive front. Jerry Tillery, Dexter Lawrence and even Jeffery Simmons make sense on the defensive side of the football, and Dalton Risner or Chris Lindstrom would make sense as versatile players on the offensive line for them at 32. There is value to be had on Day Two at both tight end and wide receiver. I don’t see them drafting a quarterback at 32, even Will Grier. I still think he’d be available for them on Day Two. Slot Machine PlayerSorry, but I’ve been wrong enough for the year. I’m way ahead of my quota. I will say that if I watch the first round, they’ll trade out of it, and if I don’t they’ll pounce. The first year I missed the first round we got Boomtower and Jones. I’m planning on missing it this year....Ryan Keiran Trade up for Clelin Ferrell. He has all the makings of a perfect Trey Flowers replacement, he’s young, and he (should) be available in the range where the Patriots could realistically use their surplus of draft picks to get up to. They can’t leave this draft having made 12 or even 10 picks Derek Rivers Jerseys 2019 , and 8 would be a stretch as well. Be aggressive and go get the best fit to replace the star you lost. Otherwise, go get Jerry Tillery or AJ Brown. Same logic applies minus replacing Flowers.Pat LaneI don’t think the Patriots will be drafting at 32 at all. Either they’ll be trading up for a player they love, or they’ll be trading back for a team to go up and get someone they love. If they move up, my guess is either Hockenson or a defensive lineman like Clelin Ferrell, Montez Sweat, or Christian Wilkins drops to the mid-20s.Patriotic ChiefDL or OL or they get lucky and one of the only legit 1st round WR/TE projects slips. The biggest need is receiver but with two 2nd round picks and plenty of ammunition to move anywhere we dang well please in the 2nd round I don’t see any reason to reach for a receiver there and I am absolutely confident BB will not do that. My suspicion is we end up with a DT. I think the drafts deepest high quality talent is at edge talents and offensive line. That’s also a need for almost every teams. That pushes the DT down the board since it’s not quiet as pressing a concern for several teams. What I don’t want to see addressed is QB or DB but if that is the BPA then so be it. Tom Brady is skipping the Patriots’ voluntary offseason program for a second consecutive year, Ryan Hannable of NESN reports. Brady was among 14 players who were not on the field for the team’s OTAs on Thursday, joining Sony Michel, Isaiah Wynn, Michael Bennett, Patrick Chung, Demaryius Thomas, Kyle Van Noy, Deatrich Wise, Austin Seferian-Jenkins White Deatrich Wise Jerseys , Nate Ebner, Yodny Cajuste, Nick Brossette, Ryan Allen and Joe Cardona, per NESN.Brady, 41, presumably is spending more time with his family during the offseason.Missing out on the team’s voluntary workouts certainly didn’t impact Brady in 2018. He passed for 4,355 yards, 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in the regular season and added 953 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in the postseason. He has yet to meet rookie receiver N’Keal Harry, though the two have connected on social media. But Brady and Harry will have plenty of time to get to know one another during the mandatory minicamp and in training camp.

It’s about a friendship, and the love that we have for each other. But I did win, so I do get a chain and he gets to pick and whatever he picks I’m just going to wear it and that’s a gift.”Barkley now has it. And Mayfield hasn’t disclosed how much it cost.Hopefully, Mayfield didn’t buy it from Drew Brees‘ jeweler. Hopefully, Barkley won’t leave it unattended while he goes for a workout.

Ahead of rookie minicamp, Buffalo inked eight UDFAs but still has three spots left on their 90-man roster and a slew of rookies coming in for a tryout this weekend. Here are some short scouting reports on all the signed players.LB Tyrel Dodson, Texas A&MPoor measurables and instincts; he does have the speed you want in a linebacker prospect. May be best suited to an outside linebacker roll where he is free of blockers and able to punish runners in space.WR Nick Easley, IowaOnly 5’11”, Easley was purportedly quick enough at his pro day to earn a position in the slot. Iowa doesn’t field the most prolific passing offense, but he came down with 52 catches last season to lead the team.LB Juwan Foggie, CharlotteA late convert to the linebacker position, Foggie was originally a wide receiver, so you know he has good speed for the position. Took well to the position change, but has only spent two years as a linebacker.OL Blake Hance, NorthwesternAn experienced four-year starter along the offensive line for Northwestern. Has the size you want, but never really became a solid tackle in college. Could be worth a look inside, as he paved the way for two very productive running backs during his time.QB Tyree Jackson, BuffaloA prototype quarterback, Jackson is knocked for his polish but there are things to like about his game in addition to his size and arm. His pocket work and his ability to improvise Youth Devin Singletary Jersey , in particular, was better than many prospects at the position this year.CB Cam Lewis, BuffaloWas a starting outside cornerback with the Bulls this past season, managing to show off his ball skills by coming down with three key interceptions. Has decent speed and size for the position, but could be asked to move inside.K Chase McLaughlin, IllinoisNever missed an extra point in his career and was 4-of-6 from beyond 50 yards out during his senior season. Made 20 field goals in 2018, and was ranked second in the country in 50+ yard makes. Seems to have a big enough leg.WR David Sills V, West VirginiaCame late to the position as a former quarterback recruit, but quickly put up big numbers at WVU with Will Grier. Poor athlete, but has some ability to high-jump passes. Was deadly in the red zone in college. With the retirement of Derek Anderson, Jackson certainly has a path to the Bills’ opening day roster. Buffalo kept just two quarterbacks the last two cut-down days, though. In 2017 it was Tyrod Taylor and Nathan Peterman with Joe Webb meeting with special teams and wide receivers more than QBs. In 2018, Peterman and rookie Josh Allen were all who were left after the trade of AJ McCarron. Sills also has a great shot for the roster, considering the question marks at wide receiver in Buffalo. They presumably have at least one wide-open roster spot for the position where he’ll be competing with Isaiah McKenzie, Ray-Ray McCloud III Womens Devin Singletary Jersey , Duke Williams, and a couple other players who were on Buffalo’s roster a year ago at various points in time.McLaughlin is another player who could crack the roster, as kicker Stephen Hauschka was not good as the season progressed following an injury. If he’s healthy and back to his old form, they won’t move on from him. If he’s not, the big-legged kicker from Illinois has a strong shot.Last year, only Robert Foster made the opening-day roster as a UDFA but Cam Phillips replaced him before they were swapped back. Cornerback Levi Wallace was added after the Vontae Davis fiasco and became the starting cornerback almost immediately. ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Patricia had no time to reflect on missing the playoffs for just the second time during 15 NFL seasons. For one, this isn't New England, where the rookie Detroit Lions coach spent his first 14 seasons as an assistant. And, Patricia said, there are still two games left for the Lions to play."I'm not going to put anything into summation," Patricia said after a 14-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday mathematically eliminated the Lions from contention. "I think we're going to be focused on this game and trying to make sure to analyze this game and where we can get better," he added. "There's a lot of areas that we can work on."The Lions fell to 5-9 and will miss the playoffs for a second consecutive season, while also guaranteed a losing record for the first time since a 7-9 finish in 2015.The result was indicative of an injury-depleted roster and a team in transition. Leading rusher Kerryon Johnson missed his fourth straight game with a knee injury. Detroit was also dealing with a patchwork group of receivers with Marvin Jones on injured reserve, Bruce Ellington out with a hamstring injury and Golden Tate traded to Philadelphia in October.Though Kenny Golladay had a career-best 146 yards receiving Authentic Devin Singletary Jersey , Detroit punted on six of its final possessions in squandering a 13-7 lead in the fourth quarter.Bills rookie Josh Allen hit undrafted rookie receiver Robert Foster for a 42-yard touchdown with 10:26 remaining. And Allen sealed the victory by leaping for a 2-yard gain to convert a fourth-and-1 at Detroit's 41 with 1:47 left. And the Lions' usually reliable special teams also cost them.Detroit opened the scoring on Stafford's 4-yard touchdown pass to Andy Jones, but botched the extra-point attempt on Don Muhlbach's bad snap."Awful. I didn't do my job right," Muhlbach said, noting he had difficulty raising the ball off the ground. "I let everybody down."Then, following Foster's touchdown, Stafford responded by marching the Lions 45 yards on the next possession only to have kicker Matt Prater miss a 48-yard field goal wide right."I don't have an excuse," said Prater, who entered having hit his previous 14 field-goal attempts. "You want to come through and make plays for your team when you get the opportunity. And it's frustrating not to."Patricia said there was plenty of blame to go around."There's plenty of situations out there on the field where we could do more to do better to help us win," Patricia said. "It starts with me. Have to go out and execute better."Though Stafford finished 22 of 29 for 208 yards passing and a touchdown, the Lions' offense all but dried up in the second half. Detroit managed just 117 yards offense and five first downs over the final two quarters. That was particularly apparent on what proved to be Detroit's final possession. The Lions gained just 2 yards in going three-and-out in punting from their own 33 with 2:56 left."We had our chances and opportunities and just didn't make enough plays as a team," Stafford said."Yeah, it's frustrating. You play this game for the opportunity for the playoffs and a chance to win the whole thing," he added. "So any time that gets taken away from you, it's disappointing."

I bought Iron Core Edge for a song. It isn't what I expected, but if you're with me so far then it should be really clear to you what's going on here. It's been very cold here since I've found ideal results. It's essential to be aware of what's going on in Iron Core Edge. Don't worry, it's earth friendly. It's a dog-eat-dog world.
