Kostas Manolas seals historic Roma

The celebrations http://www.floridapanthersofficialonline.com/Adidas-Jared-Mccann-Jersey went on so long that for a while it seemed Roma’s incredulous supporters would never go home. The sea of red, white and yellow flags in the Curva Sud were lifted with pride, strangers were hugging each other and the anthems floating around the Roman air were still being belted out a good 20 minutes after the Calle Jarnkrok Authentic Jersey conclusion of one of the most remarkable comebacks in the history http://www.authenticbuccaneersofficial.com/Nike-Brent-Grimes-Jersey.html of the Champions League.

It had been an extraordinary occasion, with one glance off the head of Kostas Manolas in the 82nd minute sparking scenes of pure elation among the locals, and nobody should criticise Roma for reacting as if they had just become the champions of Europe. They achieved something extraordinary, defying the odds on a wild night at the Stadio Olimpico by overhauling a 4-1 deficit to Barcelona from the first leg, and how the underdogs cherished reaching the semi-finals for the first time since 1984.

Barcelona had nowhere to http://www.officialnewjerseydevils.com/Adidas-Cory-Schneider-Jersey hide. Last year they stunned Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16, advancing despite being thrashed 4-0 in the first leg, but the shoe was on their leaden foot this time. They were reduced to such a state of disarray that even Lionel Messi was booked for cynically hacking at Aleksandar Kolarov and Ernesto Nikita Zadorov Womens Jersey Valverde’s sluggish team could have no complaints about their third consecutive quarter-final exit, even though Roma tortured their fans by leaving it late and almost blew it when a defensive mix-up presented Ousmane Dembélé with an opportunity to rescue La Liga’s champions-elect.
His chip drifted over Alisson Becker’s unguarded goal, however, and the truth is that Barcelona, so insipid until they were behind, deserved to go out. They will be no great loss on this evidence, even if neutrals will mourn Messi’s absence from the last four, and no condescension should be aimed at Roma given that Eusebio Di Francesco’s fearless team finished top of a group that contained Atlético Madrid and Chelsea and beat Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ra'Shede Hageman Womens Jersey last 16. Nothing summed up their defiance more than the players who got their second and third goals. Daniele De Rossi and Manolas both scored at the wrong end in the first leg, leaving Roma with an enormous challenge, but they chose the perfect http://www.calgaryflamesofficialonline.com/Adidas-Matthew-Tkachuk-Jersey way to respond, standing tall while their opponents cowered.
Roma, fourth in Serie A, had leaders all over the pitch. “Mission Impossible” was the headline on the front of Gazzetta dello Sport and even the most devoted follower of I Giallorossi could have been forgiven for thinking Barcelona’s advantage was too imposing. Only 11 sides had recovered after losing the first leg by three goals or more in this Womens Jacob Larsson Jersey competition’s 63-year history and Roma faced opponents who had the safety net of Messi’s genius.
But with red smoke billowing out of the brilliantly boisterous Curva Sud and the noise deafening, the hosts wasted no time exposing the frailties in Barcelona’s defence. Alessandro Florenzi’s long pass in the sixth minute was perfectly flighted and the outstanding Edin Dzeko, who had kept the tie alive with his artful poaching in the first leg, bustled Jordi Alba and Samuel Utiti aside before rolling the ball past Marc-André ter Stegen.
Valverde will be criticised for his defensive focus. He opted for pragmatism, starting Sergi Roberto and waiting until the 85th minute to introduce Dembélé and Paulinho, and still Barcelona were overwhelmed in midfield, where De Rossi, Radja Nainggolan and Kevin Strootman were powerful, creative and dominant. Luis Suárez’s only noteworthy contribution was picking up a booking for timewasting and it was strange to think that Barcelona remain unbeaten in the league given how reliant they have become on Messi.
Alisson was protected by his back three and the damage for Barcelona would have been more severe at half-time if Patrik Schick had shown greater precision with two free headers or Dzeko had snuck another effort past Ter Stegen. cheap jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys

Boone, Cora scout each other's rosters as Yanks

BOSTON -- Fans here don't think much anymore about the home run Aaron Boone tucked just inside Yankee Stadium's left-field foul pole in October 2003. The Boston Red Sox, after all, have won three World Series since then, including putting an end to their so-called curse a year after that American League Championship Series defeat. But in New York, it's a different story. Virtually anywhere Boone has gone in the Big Apple during the 15 years following his 11th-inning walk-off that put the New York Yankees in another World Series, a stranger has had a story to tell him.

Just this past Sunday morning, on his way to the Bronx for the series finale against the Orioles, Boone, now the Yankees' manager, listened patiently as his Uber driver giddily recalled a bloody mess he made of himself the night of Game 7. "He jumped over something and he cut his arm and stuff," Boone says, grinning. "He was pretty fired up." Starting Tuesday night, Boone and his fellow http://www.officialtampabaylightning.com/Adidas-Matthew-Spencer-Jersey first-year manager, Boston's Alex Cora, will attempt to keep their emotions in check as they battle for the first time in 2018. Ahead of the three-game set at Fenway, we caught up with the managers and former ESPN broadcasters to get their take on each other's teams, and on what they believe they'll bring to the old rivalry in their new roles.

When the Astros -- with Cora as the team's bench coach -- visited Miami last May, Giancarlo Stanton was in the midst of a 14-game homerless stretch, the longest drought Jamie Oleksiak Authentic Jersey of his MVP season. He was particularly quiet Prince Amukamara Jersey against the Astros, going 2-for-9 with one double, two walks and four strikeouts. But as Cora watched a Marlins game on television later in the season, he noticed Stanton had changed his mechanics at the plate.
"I know he made an adjustment with his front leg," Cora says, referring to Stanton moving his front foot closer to the plate than his back foot, making his swing more compact while maintaining his power. "I think he's more disciplined on the inside part of the plate now, and that's why he's been able to cover the plate more because he's been disciplined.
"We've got to wait and see which Stanton we get [this] week. These guys, they change a lot. For how great they are, they have their weeks that they're aggressive, Timmy Jernigan Authentic Jersey others they're passive and others they're hitting home runs. Hopefully we get the aggressive ones. Obviously he's very talented. It's going to be very difficult, we know that. But I think you take a look at our [starting pitching] staff
and it's a pretty good one, too. You've got to be ready, but we feel that we have the pitching to compete with them." Stanton enters this series having gone 3-for-28 (.107) with 16 strikeouts in the Yankees' six-game homestand. He recorded two five-strikeout games this past week, drawing boos from the home crowd. As enticing as the Green Monster must have looked to Aaron Judge during his superhuman rookie season, it wound up having the effect of an emerald-colored wall of Kryptonite.
Judge homered in his first at-bat against the Red Sox last April 26 -- his birthday Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Authentic Jersey -- at Fenway Park. He didn't go deep again until his second-to-last at-bat there -- 86 plate appearances later -- on Sept. 3. Overall, he was 11-for-73 with two homers and 30 strikeouts against the Sox, who attacked him with elevated fastballs and cutters. Thirty-one percent of the pitches Judge saw from Boston were in the upper-third of the strike zone, according to ESPN Stats & Information, and he batted .097 and slugged .194 against those pitches.
But while pitching coach Dana LeVangie, the lone holdover from last http://www.officialcardinalsbaseball.com/authentic-13-matt-carpenter-jersey.html year's coaching staff, figures to tap into that successful scouting report, Cora won't assume the Red Sox have solved the riddle of Judge. "For whatever people think, he has his holes, but this guy controls the strike zone," Cora says. "He does an outstanding job of not expanding. At that stage of the playoffs, it's different and the stuff he was seeing [from the 2017 Astros] was http://www.falconsauthenticofficialstore.com/keanu-neal-jersey_c-492.html tough. But he's a complete player.
"You know what really got my attention about Judge? The way he plays defense. He won one of the [ALCS] games defensively -- he robbed a home run, he got a ball in the gap. He's a great athlete. He can do a lot of stuff. He picks his spots running the bases. He's more of a complete player than what people think. He reminds me of [Green Bay Packers tight end] Jimmy Graham. http://www.footballgiantsofficial.com/WOMENS_YOUTH_MARK_HERZLICH_JERSEY.html He's that type of athlete. If he wanted to, he could be a tight end in the NFL."
Tanaka and Martinez will see each other again this week when the righty Tanaka pitches Wednesday. In barely two weeks with his new team, Martinez has already doubled, tripled and homered for the Red Sox. Boone and Yankees pitching coach Larry Rothschild are well aware of the big-fly potential Martinez possesses. They know 34-year-old vet Hanley Ramirez has that same capability, too -- "He's already got a couple big hits for them," Boone says of Ramirez.
But Boone's biggest concern is how dangerous Boston is once it gets runners on base ahead of Ramirez and Martinez in the heart of the order."It's a very athletic team," Boone says. "Kind of different than the old-school Red Sox that will kind of bash you to death. This is a team that's really athletic on defense and on the bases.

KL Rahul's fastest IPL fifty floors Universe Boss Chris Gayle

L Rahul created a new record of scoring the fastest half-century in the Indian Premier League and guess who he credited after the match? None other than 'Universe Boss' Chris Gayle.

Rahul's 14-ball fifty saw Kings XI Punjab open their IPL 2018 campaign with a resounding win against Delhi Daredevils in Mohali on Sunday. And it came as no surprise that Rahul took inspiration from the big-hitting West Indies, who was left out of the playing XI.
"I have realized over the years playing with you (while being part of the RCB squad),and I have spoken to you over the last couple of years about how to pace the innings and you always keep telling about getting into good positions and then http://www.authenticsandiegopadresshop.com/Chase-Headley-Jersey body reacts. That's http://www.ramsfootballofficialproshop.com/WOMENS_YOUTH_TYRUNN_WALKER_JERSEY.html all I was trying to do and I'm really happy that it came off today," Rahul added.
Chasing 167, KXIP owed their sensational start to Rahul, who hammered six fours and four sixes. He eventually perished for a 16-ball 51 but KXIP were so far ahead in the game that even after slowing down in the middle overs the team was matching up with the required run rate. They eventually reached the target with 7 balls to spare.
Rahul is no stranger to records in the shorter formats. He had scored a hundred on ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2016. A few months later, he Authentic Rodger Saffold Jersey became one of Logan Couture Womens Jersey only three Indian batsmen to score a T20 International hundreds.
IPL 2018, Kings XI Punjab vs Delhi Daredevils: KL Rahul's 14-ball 51 blasts Punjab to victory
But on Sunday he did not even realise that he had scored the fastest fifty and only got to know about the record when Yuvraj Singh reminded him about it after joining him in the middle during the run chase.
"It is great to have records under your belt. Yes, I didn't really realize that I had got a record, I had got to fifty because, like I said, I was just waiting for the ball to leave the bowler's hand and strike it. So once I got there and everyone started clapping I realized I got Authentic Ryan Murray Jersey to fifty," the 25-year-old explained his delayed reaction and acknowledgement on reaching his half-century.
Gayle himself was mighty pleased with what he saw from the dugout and congratulated the Karnataka opener on the record.
"Fastest fifty, you seemed a bit surprised when you saw everyone was clapping, like you didn't realise that you actually reached fifty, but you hit the fastest fifty in the IPL history. That's a great record and zI think you will have many more to score in this format," the 38-year-old Jamaican said.
Left out of India's ODI and T20I squads for the South Africa tour, Rahul was itching to make a statement. He could not assert himself in Sri Lanka during the Nidahas Trophy but he was determined to do exactly that in the IPL. wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys

Liverpool have been charged with
Pep Guardiola has been hit with two separate Uefa disciplinary charges as a result of the Manchester City manager’s dismissal in the Champions League defeat by Liverpool.Guardiola was sent to Chris Long Jersey the stands by the referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz at the end of the first half after coming on to the pitch at half-time to protest over a disallowed effort by Leroy Sané. The Spanish official ruled out the tap-in for offside, though there was considerable sympathy for the City manager given the ball came to Sané after Loris Karius’s punch rebounded off James Milner.

Having been ordered away from the dugout and technical area Guardiola was then subject to a Uefa regulation that forbids any communication with coaching staff on the sidelines, but it is understood the governing body believes he may have contravened this rule and will charge him with improper conduct.

Guardiola has admitted telling the referee the goal should have stood, though he denies using bad language. The flashpoint came at a crucial stage of the match, with City leading 1-0. http://www.authenticavalanchejerseys.com/Authentic-Conor-Timmins-Jersey Had Sané’s effort counted they would have gone in 2-0 ahead, with every chance of going on to cancel out Liverpool’s 3-0 lead from the first leg. In the event their momentum stalled in the second half and Liverpool scored twice to run out 5-1 aggregate winners.
Liverpool have been charged with http://www.authenticbuccaneersofficial.com/Nike-Davonte-Lambert-Jersey.html disciplinary offences over the behaviour of their fans. Uefa alleges fireworks were let off and objects thrown at the Etihad, just as they were outside Anfield when the City team bus was attacked before last week’s game. Uefa’s control, ethics and disciplinary body next convenes at the end of next month.

The basic statistics from those three defeats make for interesting reading. City dominated every metric, Albert McClellan Jersey as is so often the case. In defeat to Liverpool (twice) and Manchester United they had more corners (23 to six combined) more shots (51 to 19) and – of course – more possession of the ball. Move over, McShay. Time for my annual

three-round mock draft in which I play the general manager for each team at each pick for the 2018 draft. That's all 100 picks from Rounds 1-3. You can check out Todd's http://www.officialauthenticravenstore.com/womens_matt_judon_jersey here. To be clear: I'm not projecting picks based on what I'm hearing around the league. This is me making three full rounds of picks based on what's best for each team at Aaron Dell Youth jersey that slot, so that each team gets an "A" grade. And it's not easy to get an "A." I'll be discussing some of my picks on SportsCenter All-Access on ESPN and WatchESPN on Tuesday night.

This is my top-ranked quarterback, running back and 3-technique defensive tackle with the Browns' first three picks. General manager John Dorsey is in a great spot with two picks in the top five, and it would be tough to pass on NC State's Bradley Chubb at No. 4. Could you imagine him getting after quarterbacks on the other side of Myles Garrett? I went with Barkley, though, who will help make better the quarterback that Cleveland takes at No. 1.
Christian would be in the mix to replace longtime left tackle Joe Thomas, and Hubbard is one of the top true 4-3 defensive ends in this class. This class is going to hinge on the quarterback. The Browns have added some weapons in the offseason, and Allen wouldn't have to start right away with Tyrod Taylor on the roster. I still think the Giants should grab a quarterback with their pick (unless they get blown away by a trade offer). Eli Manning is 37 and on the down side of his career, and New York has a talented roster that shouldn't be picking this high in the future. Is GM Dave Gettleman really going to pass on a signal-caller who could be Manning's ready-made replacement?
Wynn could be an immediate starter, as the Giants lost interior linemen Weston Richburg, D.J. Fluker and Justin Pugh in free agency. Hines is an undersized speedster (he ran a 4.38 40-yard dash at the combine) who will help in the receiving and return games. Hand, a former five-star prospect, underwhelmed at Alabama, but he has the physical tools that teams look for at the end of Day 2. He would play defensive end in a 3-4 scheme.
But unlike Cleveland, which can pick its quarterback of the future at either No. 1 or No. 4, Buffalo will probably be forced to trade up from No. 12 in the first round if it wants to make one of the top four quarterbacks -- Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen or Baker Mayfield -- its potential franchise cornerstone. With the division rival Jets already having moved to No. 3 in likely pursuit of a quarterback, the Bills would have to do a deal with the New York Giants for the No. 2 pick should they want some security about selecting their desired quarterback.
Such a deal could cost the Bills a http://www.officialdallasstars.com/Adidas-Jaromir-Jagr-Jersey “ransom,” as Beane has called it, and could strip the club of half or more of its six selections in the first three rounds. For a team that Beane and coach Sean McDermott have characterized this offseason as being a “long way” from championship contention, those early-round picks could be valuable in building a roster that was not only among the weakest in the playoff field last season, but also among the NFL’s oldest.
The retirement of the 34-year-old Incognito and January’s announcement by 32-year-old center Eric Brian Cushing Authentic Jersey Wood that his career is over due to a neck injury help the Bills get younger. However, the departures have only created another void for a team with many short- and long-term holes. Ryan Groy, the Bills’ backup center last season, and John Miller, a 2015 third-round pick who lost his starting right guard job to Vladimir Ducasse last season, are among the candidates to start at left guard. Groy or free-agent signing Russell Bodine could start at center. In any case, the Bills are downgrading from Incognito and Wood.
There is also no obvious starting middle linebacker on the roster. Preston Brown, who has started almost every game the past four seasons in that role, signed with the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason. There is also a lack of proven options at No. 3 wide receiver and nickel cornerback.
The Bills could address those needs in the draft, but they must also keep an eye toward the future at several other positions. They have four running backs who are 29 or older, including LeSean McCoy. Top receiver Kelvin Benjamin is in the final season of his contract, and two defensive starters -- tackle Kyle Williams, 34, and outside linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, 34 -- have one year left on their contracts and are seemingly close to retirement. Starting cornerback Vontae Davis is also on a one-year deal with no long-term replacement on the roster.
Add in uncertain long-term futures in Buffalo for tight end Charles Clay, right tackle Jordan Mills and defensive ends Jerry Hughes and Shaq Lawson, and the Bills have almost universal needs across their roster. Safety is the only position with a certain outlook beyond 2018.
Beane has made it clear this offseason that he likes having a high volume of draft picks, and those could come in handy rebuilding a roster that could look drastically different than the one which exceeded expectations to make the postseason in 2017.But Beane has also stressed that the NFL is a “quarterback league,” and it is hard to win without one. That could mean Beane bundling his picks to take a swing on the highest-drafted quarterback in franchise history.

PH Malditas eye FIFA Women's World Cup berth against China

The Philippine women's national football team's bid for qualification to the 2019 FIFA Women's World http://www.bengalsonlineofficialauthentic.com/Vincent-Rey-Jersey Cup continues on Monday night when they play powerhouse China at the King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman, Jordan.

Kick off is at 4:45 p.m. in Jordan, or 9:45 p.m. in the Philippines.

The Filipinas are trying to build on their remarkable 2-1 upset of hosts Jordan last Friday night (Saturday morning in Manila), with a win over China propelling them to the World Cup in France in 2019.
An own goal from Jordan's Yasmeen Khair and a Sarina Bolden strike gave the Philippines their first three points of the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup."We started with a win against the hosts, and in our plans before we came to Jordan we had always envisaged taking three points from our first match," said Philippine head Mitchell Trubisky Womens Jersey coach Rabah Benlarbi.
"It is very important to have a balance, something which I believe we have along with the fact that we live together, we win together and we die together," he added.
Benlarbi, however, is well aware of the challenges posed by China. He was an assistant coach of China during the 2016 Rio Olympics, and saw how the Chinese routed Thailand, 4-0, in their first assignment of the tournament.
"I know China's players, and I know their strengths, and their weaknesses," said Benlarbi. "They have changed some players, but they are still a very strong team."The Malditas are once again the underdogs against China, which has won the AFC Women's Wilmer Flores Womens Jersey Asian Cup eight times.
However, Benlarbi said the Filipinas are "very http://www.avalancheofficialauthenticstore.com/Aj_Greer_Jersey_Adidas motivated."
"If we can beat China, it would be excellent for us as it would virtually assure us of a place in the World Cup," he Stephen Tulloch Womens Jersey said. "For us, reaching the FIFA Women's World Cup would be a great achievement."
If the Malditas lose to China on Monday night, they can still secure qualification against Thailand in their last match of the group round. For more sports coverage, visit the ABS-CBN Sports http://www.jaguarsofficialnflprostore.com/Nike-Lerentee-Mccray-Jersey.html website.

It’s not like I wanted to miss

Danny Welbeck has learned to deflect criticism and is no longer overly influenced by those who wonder whether he really belongs at the highest level of club and international football.

The Arsenal and England forward confounded the doubters by scoring twice in his club’s 3-2 home win against Southampton on Sunday but somehow spurned a three-yard sitter that looked a strong candidate for “miss of the season”.

“In professional football, there are always going to be critics,” said Welbeck, who also created Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s opener. “You see people are criticising Cristiano Ronaldo and he’s at the pinnacle. Every day in every single walk of life, you can do something good and people will have something bad http://www.jetsfootballofficialshop.com/Authentic-Muhammad-Wilkerson-Jersey to say about you. You just get on with it and do your job as best you can.”
As Meat Loaf’s song said, “Two out of three ain’t bad” – and Welbeck duly made no apology for Authentic Denver Broncos Jersey refusing to beat himself up over his failure to make the most of an opening conjured by Alex Iwobi and Jack Wilshere. “It isn’t like I wanted to miss,” Welbeck said. “I just couldn’t stretch enough to get there – but that’s football.
“In your mindset you just have to know there’s going to be another opportunity and you have to keep focused. I’ve been through much tougher stuff than that. So it’s nothing. You just have to keep your mindset strong.”
After missing more games than he cares to remember in the wake of serious injuries to both knees sustained between May 2015 and January 2017, Welbeck has scored nine goals this season, his Authentic Russell Wilson Jersey best return since the 2013-14 campaign.
“Danny is getting sharper and has slowly come back to his best,” Arsène Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, said. “He had every reason to feel sorry for himself and think that this mountain was too big for him to climb but he worked Authentic Paul Hornung Jersey hard with http://www.bearsfootballproonline.com/Markus-Wheaton-Jersey people questioning him. It’s the most difficult test for a sports person. What he has done is exemplary.”
With a knee injury prompting Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s absence from Wenger’s side for the Europa League quarter-final second leg at CSKA Moscow on Thursday night, Welbeck is likely to start in Russia as Arsenal aim Authentic Steve Mason Jersey to extend their 4-1 first-leg lead.
“As you’ve seen I can play with Pierre [Aubameyang] and Lac http://www.vancouvercanucksofficialonline.com/Adidas-Erik-Gudbranson-Jersey [Alexandre Lacazette],” he said. “It’s nice. The competition for places gives you that added motivation to improve and better yourself. I’ve had it my whole career. It’s healthy but I know I can link up with plenty of players in this team.”
Like Wenger he will always have his critics but, right now, Welbeck feels the north London horizon is bright enough to quite possibly help him ensure a successful return to Russia in England colours this June. “I’ve been through seasons where I’ve not played a lot of games and its been difficult due to injuries and stuff like that,” he said. “But that’s past, that’s gone.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The final five weeks of the

2017 NFL season offered overwhelming evidence of the profound impact quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo had on the San Francisco 49ers. What wasn't as apparent was just how far that effect would reach. Now, more than three months removed from the end of the season and about a month since the start of free agency, the NFL's veteran-quarterback carousel has stopped spinning. In San Francisco, the ride reached its conclusion in a way that was difficult, although not impossible, to envision a year ago at this time. And for quarterbacks Garoppolo and Kirk Cousins, the outcome probably wasn't what they originally expected, either.

The Niners believe they have their franchise quarterback in Garoppolo and backed that up with what was then a record-setting contract. Cousins followed suit in landing with the Minnesota Vikings, a team that wasn't connected to him for most of his ongoing saga with the Washington Redskins.
In an alternate, albeit realistic, universe, Cousins would have been reunited with 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, and Garoppolo would likely have either been traded elsewhere or hit the market and found himself in a bidding war akin to the one Cousins just sorted http://www.officialdodgersteamshop.com/Matt_Kemp_Jersey through. Speaking to ESPN's Adam Schefter on his podcast, Shanahan offered some insight into his ties to Cousins -- Shanahan was the Redskins' offensive coordinator during the quarterback's first two NFL seasons -- and how Garoppolo altered the Niners' seemingly preordained plans.
I think everyone knows how I feel about Kirk," Shanahan said. "I think most of the league feels that way. ... I think anybody in free agency, of anyone who needed a quarterback, if they thought they had a chance at Kirk, I'm pretty sure every team in the league would have gone for him." In a league in which the "what if" game is easy to play, the Niners-Cousins scenario was anything but far-fetched. As far back as the 2017 owners meetings, the Niners were already planning to wait until 2018 to find their franchise quarterback. They had signed veteran Brian Hoyer as a placeholder and had no intention of using their No. 2 overall pick on a top quarterback such as Mitchell Trubisky or Deshaun Watson.
No, the Niners had eyes for Cousins, and Womens Blake Martinez Jersey although they were well aware there was no guarantee he'd hit the open market, they felt strongly they'd have an opportunity to acquire him. Much as Shanahan's affinity for Cousins was well known, so too was how Cousins viewed the chance to reunite with his http://www.coltsfootballofficialproshop.com/WOMENS_YOUTH_FRANK_GORE_JERSEY.html former offensive coordinator. So long as the Redskins didn't put the franchise tag on Cousins, the Niners had the salary-cap space to outbid any other team and ties to Cousins that would make it difficult for him to turn them down.
"That was the plan," Shanahan told reporters at last month's owners meetings. "I had a relationship with him. He was a good quarterback that I had been with and I had a strong feeling -- I think everyone did -- that he was going to become available. Nothing was set in stone; you never know what the Redskins were going to do, and you never knew if they would come to Teddy Bridgewater Authentic Jersey a deal, but signs were pointing that he was going to be available. And, of course, when I came to San Francisco, we didn't have a quarterback on the roster, and we were looking to get one, and that was going to be a huge possibility. But things change. Something else came across us and we are very happy that it did."
As recently as early October, when the Niners and Redskins prepared to play in the nation's capital, neither side was exactly denying that a match could be coming in the offseason, although they did their best to downplay it. Little more than two weeks later, that "something else" came courtesy of a phone call from the New England Patriots.
To hear Shanahan and general manager John Lynch tell it, the Patriots offered Garoppolo for the Niners' second-round pick. With no guarantee that Cousins would be available or even that they'd land him, the Niners say they took all of about 10 minutes to say yes. After all, Garoppolo was already on their radar and they had asked about acquiring him as far back as the scouting combine in February 2017.
"We made the trade, but then there were some days when Kyle Shanahan was, like, in mourning, because I think everybody knows his master plan was to have Kirk Cousins come in eventually," Lynch told ESPN Radio in March. "I was proud of Kyle, because I think he knew this was the right thing for our franchise. And he didn't hesitate. But then, even then, Jimmy had to really prove himself."
At the owners meetings, Lynch explained he was trying to describe how impressive Garoppolo had been to make the 49ers deviate from the potential plan. He also compared the day the team traded for Garoppolo to Christmas morning. That assessment fit better with how Shanahan remembers it."I think the mourning thing was a little bit off, but we were ecstatic when we got the trade," Shanahan said. "It kind of came out of nowhere, so we were truly pumped up about it. It surprised us at the time. But I think really what he was trying to explain was after we made that trade, nothing was a set deal."
In landing Garoppolo, the Niners had an idea of what they were getting, but he'd only started two NFL games and was a more unknown commodity than Cousins. Regardless, the price for Garoppolo was worth getting a talented quarterback in the building and giving him some time to work with Shanahan. cheap jerseys from china cheap jerseys china wholesale nfl jerseys cheap nfl jerseys

At the time, the 49ers believed that, at worst

Garoppolo provided them options no matter how much he played or how well he performed over the final eight games. If he struggled or was just OK, the team could tag him and get a longer look in 2018. That could still have left the door open for Cousins, and that indeed was still a possibility after the trade. Finally, in what seemed the most difficult-to-attain option, Garoppolo would get a chance to play and would look so good that the Niners would shut down their search for a franchise quarterback and pay him like one.

Even without the benefit of an offseason to learn the offense, Garoppolo took over late in a loss to Seattle and never looked back. By the time Garoppolo engineered a drive to beat Tennessee on Dec. 17, Shanahan knew he had his man.

“Jimmy went out there and played very well in the first game," Shanahan said. "I was extremely excited. The second game I was even more excited. By the third game, I think we all kinda forgot about free agency and about the draft, and we were like, ‘All right, we can isolate on one guy right now,’ and we were very happy that it happened.” With Garoppolo at the controls, the Niners won their final five games and improved in nearly every major statistical category. The day after the season, Lynch declared that signing Garoppolo was the top priority. Sure enough, on Feb. 8, Garoppolo inked a five-year, $137.5 million deal with $48.7 million fully guaranteed.
Meanwhile, in Washington, Cousins got a heads-up that he would become this year's most coveted free agent when the Redskins agreed to a deal for Kansas City's Alex Smith. That set off a frenzy in which multiple veteran quarterbacks found new homes. Despite the Niners being out of the mix, Cousins had no shortage of suitors willing to make him the game's highest-paid quarterback. That's exactly what C.J. Mosley Jersey happened when he signed a three-year, fully guaranteed $84 million deal with the Vikings on March 15.
Although Cousins didn't get a chance to reunite with Shanahan in a familiar offensive system, he did land with a legitimate Super Bowl contender, flush with offensive weapons. For their part, the Niners get a less-proven player http://www.dolphinsauthenticjerseys.com/Authentic-Adam-Joseph-Duhe-Jersey in Garoppolo, 26, but one who brings more upside to a young team trying to build a long-term contender. After Cousins signed in Minnesota, Shanahan reached out and congratulated his former pupil on his new deal. Not so long ago, such a conversation seemed all but certain to happen right here in the Bay Area, with Cousins sporting a red-and-gold tie. Alas, it wasn't to be. "I’m really happy how it ended up for all sides,” Shanahan said.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Rams' aggressive pursuit of going from NFC West Division champions to Super Bowl champions in 2018 has been one of the NFL's hottest offseason topics. The impact Jake McCabe Jersey of the Rams' bold moves to acquire cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters, receiver Brandin Cooks and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has not been lost inside the San Francisco 49ers organization. After all, the Rams sit at the top of the Niners' division, and the two teams have a longstanding rivalry that appears on the verge of being must-see once again.
"It is what it is," coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters at last week's NFL owners meetings. "They've added some firepower this offseason, Golden Tate III Jersey and I think we have, too. I know they're trying to get better, and they have, and hopefully we are, too." In some ways, the 49ers are now in a similar position to where the Rams were last year at this time. Like the Rams of the 2017 offseason, the Niners are coming off a losing season but are making calculated moves to round out their roster in hopes of engineering a big turnaround. Those Rams added a stabilizing piece on the offensive line in tackle Andrew Whitworth and an offensive weapon who had been underutilized in his previous stop in receiver Robert Woods. They also added some under-the-radar talents they viewed as scheme and locker-room fits, such as cornerbacks Kayvon Webster and Nickell Robey-Coleman and pass-rusher Connor Barwin.
Although some of the positions are different, the 49ers have followed a similar blueprint, making big investments in a key offensive lineman (center Weston Richburg) and giving a larger-than-expected contract to an offensive weapon they believe can do more than he has previously (running back Jerick McKinnon). They've also taken fliers on some more budget-friendly players they hope can blossom in their system in guard Jonathan Cooper and pass-rusher Jerry Attaochu. Cornerback Richard http://www.authenticsavalanchestore.com/calvin-pickard-jersey_c-448.html Sherman could be considered a happy medium between a big addition and a low-risk move as he recovers from a ruptured right Achilles.
As it stands, the 49ers can only hope their offseason moves help them make the leap from NFC West also-ran to division winners. The Rams, meanwhile, have turned their attention to taking the next step toward claiming a Super Bowl title. Their big-name additions have made splashy headlines, but the real story is that the Rams clearly believe their http://www.saintsonlineofficialshop.com/WOMENS_YOUTH_MICHAEL_THOMAS_JERSEY.html Super Bowl window is open now and intend to jump through it before having to pay top dollar for quarterback Jared Goff in a couple of years.
That's a position the 49ers haven't yet reached, and it's a big part of the reason why they aren't getting caught up in some sort of headline-driven arms race. Instead, having already paid out a massive contract for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, the Niners are attempting to balance becoming genuine playoff contenders now and setting themselves up to sustain that status in the future. It's why, even with plenty of cap room, the Niners didn't throw big money at bank-breaking free agents such as Andrew Norwell and Allen Robinson.
“I think you do everything you can to win now, but you can never do it at the expense of your future,” Shanahan said. “And I’ve been in this league a long time, I think we’ve all waited a long time to have an opportunity like this. This isn’t something that you go in recklessly and just try to make yourself look good right away.” wholesale nfl jerseys cheap jerseys free shipping wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap jerseys cheap jerseys china

NFL players have succumbed to protest pressure

From Robinson to Ali, the power of player http://www.montrealcanadiensofficialonline.com/Adidas-Mark-Streit-Jersey activism has always http://www.officialauthenticcardinalsstore.com/womens_haason_reddick_jersey been rooted in its moral imperative. The recent wave has been no different, motivated by moments like in August 2014, when Ferguson police shot Michael Brown dead and left his body on the street, baking in the http://www.authenticoilersshoponline.com/authentic-25-darnell-nurse-jersey.html summer heat for hours.

Or when police choked Eric Garner to death that same summer, or killed Philando Castile and Terence Crutcher in 2016. People filled the streets to protest the violence. Players like Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid joined them in on-field protests.

The sports world did its best to kill the protests, aided by a media that largely refused to understand the revolt and by the willful ignorance of owners and fans who never believed this part of America was a problem. The efforts appear to have succeeded. Kaepernick is still without a job. Reid, a free agent safety, said on March 22 that if signed by a team he would discontinue his two-year practice of kneeling during the anthem in protest of police brutality.
The next day, Malcolm Jenkins, Anquan Boldin and Devin McCourty -- three members of the Players Coalition, Dan Girardi Womens Jersey a group of activist players that in November negotiated with owners an $89 million partnership to contribute to social causes -- gave the keynote address at a Harvard seminar on criminal justice reform.
Speaking about on-field protest, McCourty told USA Today, "That was a vehicle that we used to draw attention, but doing some type of protest on the field every week is not going to stop an unarmed black kid from getting killed."
The players have clearly succumbed to the prolonged hostility to their cause and suffer a terribly absent sense of self. Their union is ambivalent toward protest, even as jobs are being threatened. Kaepernick, the hero to the people who never quite wanted to lead the people, is still an unquestioned inspiration to millions, but he hasn't spoken nationally in more than Ryan Kalil Womens Jersey a year.
In the void, his moral urgency has been co-opted. Unwilling to couple labor solidarity to protest, the players let Kaepernick die professionally, sacrificing their one strength management feared: the power of their numbers.
The coalition said their partnership wasn't a quid pro quo to end protests, yet that is what it has become. Players took ownership's money without asking for fairness. Kaepernick and now possibly Reid, who remained unsigned heading into April, have been the human cost -- and everyone seems all right with that.
Yet while the players were cutting deals with owners -- the same owners who have been historically dishonest with them about the dangers of their sport, men who have called them "inmates" and treat them as disposable -- children from Parkland to Chicago, tired of gun violence, many first inspired by Kaepernick, went precisely to the place the players negotiated to avoid:the streets.
The kids went out and marched, a million strong. They incorporated the kids from Columbine who are now adults, and the parents from Sandy Hook.
When black kids wrecked by gun violence felt omitted, they forced their way into the fight, made themselves be seen. The movement incorporated Steven Souza Womens Jersey military veterans who shared their gun-control views, a strategic alliance that obscured the violence of constant war but muted accusations that the kids were unpatriotic.
It was alliance-building the players ignored-hundreds of police officers lead anti-police brutality organizations -- and the result was being branded as anti-cop.

Farrell responded in kind

Farrell responded in kind
For all that the scoreboard makes for desperate reading yet again for Northampton, perhaps the most miserable aspect of this latest hammering is that Saracens Mike Moustakas Authentic Jersey hit top gear only intermittently in reaching their fourth half-century against the Saints this season.

Alex Lozowski was masterful at outside-centre and Maro Itoje commanding but the ease with which Northampton were sliced and diced in the second half – shipping 48 points without scoring a single one themselves – represents their lowest ebb in a dire season. “There’s embarrassment throughout the squad and the coaches,” said the Northampton coach, Alan Dickens.
Nine different try scorers ensured Saracens moved on from their European Rugby Champions Cup http://www.officialpadreshop.com/authentic-1-ozzie-smith-jersey.html exit at the hands of Leinster in emphatic style and remain on http://www.teamusahockeyjerseys.com/Adidas-Ryan-Mcdonagh-Jersey course for a home Premiership play-off. They have now scored 237 points, at an average of more than 59, in their four crushing wins over Saints and this was their highest total. “It says a lot about the group, after a six-day turnaround from Dublin, how mentally tough we were,” said the Saracens director of rugby, Mark McCall.
Remarkably, Saracens led just 15-13 at the interval. Indeed, Northampton turned down a penalty within Stephen Myler’s range that would have taken them into the break ahead, yet Sarries turned up the volume in the second half and Saints capitulated again. Ultimately, the season cannot end early Stephon Gilmore Womens Jersey enough – the brief bounce they enjoyed with Alan Gaffney’s arrival has now disappeared in the rear-view mirror. A tranche of players have been let go – in truth a lot of deadwood – and the only optimism stems from the anticipation that surrounds Chris Boyd’s arrival from the Hurricanes next season. He cannot, however, work miracles.
It was an inauspicious start from Northampton – Teimana Harrison butchering rugby’s equivalent of an open goal after a fine long pass from Myler. Five minutes later Saracens had their first try with Sean Maitland’s inside pass freeing Lozowski. Saints were then on the board after a high tackle from Owen Farrell – one of three by the fly-half in the first 40 minutes – with Myler on target.
Farrell responded in kind before the Saints hooker Reece Marshall, making his first Premiership Harrison Smith Womens Jersey start, finished well in the corner from close range. Northampton were ahead after another Myler penalty before Saracens upped the ante, kicked to the corner and Schalk Brits touched down from the driving lineout.
Perhaps given a reminder or two at the break, Saracens were suddenly in the mood and a muscular carry from Itoje led to Ben Spencer going over in the corner. The hammer blow came when Mako Vunipola powered over after a period of pressure and the coup de grace followed with a deliciously disguised chip by Farrell for Liam Williams to collect and add the fifth try.

That's also why the 49ers have wisely avoided

making any reactionary moves meant as a clear response to what the Rams have done. The temptation when a division rival adds talent the way the Rams have would be to mortgage the future in an effort to counter. Such an approach might offer a quick fix at the expense of consistency. But Shanahan is quick to remind that the Niners' goal is to compete with the Rams not only in 2018, but beyond.

“[Suh] is a good player, there’s a lot of good players in this league," Shanahan said. "I know one of the best is there, too, with [Aaron] Donald, so it’s gonna be a huge challenge. I http://www.shopjaguarsnfljerseys.com/Paul-Posluszny-Jersey was messing with [Rams coach] Sean [McVay] about it, but I’m sure they’re gonna draft some more good ones also. We plan on improving our team, which I think we’ve done, and I think it’s gonna be a challenge this year, and I think it's gonna be a challenge for years to come. And we look forward to it.”
Of course, before the Niners can compete with the Rams for a division crown, they must first climb out of the NFC West basement. Even after finishing last season with five consecutive wins, the 49ers still finished last in the division for the third straight year. There's plenty of optimism around the team based on that finish and on what Garoppolo could do with a full offseason to learn Shanahan's offense.
Still, the Niners' roster needs plenty of work, something general manager John Lynch and Shanahan have not lost sight of even as buzz around their team builds. Until proven otherwise, the Rams wear the crown and have earned the right to be division favorites. And while Seattle looks to rebuild around quarterback Russell Wilson and Arizona seeks a quarterback capable of taking a solid roster back into contention, Shanahan is
looking forward to the challenge that awaits as the NFC West reclaims its place as one of the NFL's toughest neighborhoods. “I think we've got four good teams in our division," Shanahan said. "I know Arizona and Seattle have been at it for a while, and I’m not gonna act like they’re not gonna be there every year also. There’s four good organizations, good coaches, good players. It’s a tough division to be in, but it makes it more fun also.”
how the starting two guys end up," Shanahan said. "They've got to be able to play both. We practice everybody at every spot. Once people do end up becoming the for-sure starter or the competition is over, then you'll leave them at one spot, but you're always mixing around because you can only dress a certain amount on game day and you've got to be very versatile."
If one were to look solely at the draft status of those three guards, the easy conclusion would be that the Niners are set at the position. The reality, however, is far different. Of that trio, only Garnett is an original draft pick of the Niners, taken No. 28 overall in 2016. Tomlinson came to the Niners in a trade just before the start of last season after entering the league as the No. 28 pick in the 2015 draft by the Detroit Lions.
But none of the three was drafted by the current regime of Shanahan and general manager John Lynch. Further, of the three, only Cooper profiles as a natural fit in Shanahan's outside-zone-heavy offense. That system requires guards to have the Authentic Brent Seabrook Jersey speed and athleticism to get out in space and block http://www.seahawksofficialsproshop.com/Sheldon-Richardson-Jersey at the second level. Last season, the 49ers allowed 43 sacks and averaged just 3.92 yards per carry between the tackles, 22nd in the league. All of which means that the Niners might not be out of the market for guard help when it comes to the NFL draft. And for as long of a shot as it might be that he falls, we can't rule out a match between San Francisco and Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson should he tumble to No. 9.
Widely regarded as one of the top three-to-five players in the draft regardless of position, Nelson is projected to be off the board before then. But in Nelson's case, the positional caveat can be tossed aside because his position is very much a factor in how he'll be valued. Traditionally, the only offensive linemen to go in the top 10, let alone the top five, are tackles. Since 1988, only three guards -- including Cooper -- have gone in the top 10. Nelson will likely be No. 4 and for good reason.
A unanimous All-American as a junior, Nelson was the Fighting Irish's most valuable player in 2017. He started 36 games for Authentic Jeremy Hill Jersey Notre Dame over the Authentic Kendall Fuller Jersey past three seasons and earned a reputation for his strength, athleticism and nasty streak at 6-foot-5, 325 pounds. Nelson bench-pressed 225 pounds 35 times at the scouting combine, tied for second-most among offensive linemen. From the time Nelson was a child, he looked the part of a future professional football player. Before each season of Pop Warner football, Nelson would have to lose 20 pounds just to meet the weight requirement to play against kids two or three years older than him. To build toughness, Nelson often had to overcome his own family to achieve success in sports. With parents who were each the youngest of six kids, Nelson eventually became the youngest out of 39 nieces and nephews.
Nelson refined his athletic abilities on a basketball court, as a goalie in soccer and, of course, on the football field. His former strength coach once referred to Nelson as a "balletic grizzly bear" with a "bizarre blend of grace and power."

Numbers game fails to add up

Long before he forged a reputation as a one‑man insurance policy against relegation, Sam Allardyce was known for his fondness for facts and figures. He played the percentages in an essentially risk-averse brand of football. He has sought solace in the statistics. He still presents himself as a blend of old and new, traditional judgment and Moneyball-style metrics. “That’s the beauty of our matrix of statistics today, which backs up your eye,” he said.

His notion is the numbers support his case. His programme notes for last month’s defeat by Manchester City amounted to a blizzard of self-justifying statistics. It seemed a selective interpretation John Collins Youth jersey of the data available because after Saturday’s Merseyside derby stalemate made him only the third manager to register 50 goalless draws in the Premier League – and at times Liverpool Claude Giroux Jersey threatened to render him only the second to suffer 200 defeats – other numbers were more unflattering.

Everton had four touches of the ball in the Liverpool box in the opening hour. They have mustered a solitary first-half goal since January. Under Allardyce, they have hosted Chelsea, both Manchester clubs and Liverpool. Over 360 minutes, they have recorded only three shots on target and one goal.
All of which suggests either a lack of quality, a surfeit of timidity or both. A £200m outlay in the past 12 months ought to have injected ability, even if three-quarters of the spending preceded Allardyce’s appointment. Yet the fearful football that an often outspoken character has overseen may highlight his innate caution.
“It could have been that in the first seconds and boosh. The crowd get up,” Jürgen Klopp said, trying to mimic the blood and thunder of a stereotypical derby; this rather placid affair had insufficient thud, even if there were a Anthony Zettel Jersey few blunders as Everton mislaid a third of their passes and Curtis Lazar Youth jersey misdirected a couple of late attempts to break the deadlock.
“Let’s face it, they have got a terrific team, haven’t they?” Allardyce asked and when Liverpool are at full strength, the answer would be in the affirmative. Yet their front three included Danny Ings, whose last goal came more than 900 days ago, and Dominic Solanke, whose 23 Liverpool appearances have yet to produce any. Their full-backs were Nathaniel Clyne, making his first appearance of the season, and the out-of-position central defender Ragnar Klavan, who Klopp thought had never even played on the flank in his four-year Bundesliga career, let alone for Liverpool.
His immediate opponent was Theo Walcott who, for 80 minutes, did his best work as a supplementary right-back before belatedly running at Klavan. A Liverpool team who had never played together before – and probably never will again – http://www.bearsfootballproonline.com/Hroniss-Grasu-Jersey showed more cohesion and perhaps the most meaningful game of http://www.pittsburghpenguinsofficialonline.com/Adidas-Chad-Ruhwedel-Jersey Everton’s campaign served as a microcosm for much http://www.authenticoilersshoponline.com/authentic-29-leon-draisaitl-jersey.html of it: slow starters lost their way in the middle before seeking an uplifting ending. It eluded them.
A complication, on the day and over the campaign, has been the presence of Wayne Rooney. The Evertonian is nonetheless the top scorer and struck away from home against Liverpool and Manchester City. However, he is yet to find the net in 2018 and completed a different double, substituted in the 57th minute on successive Saturdays. Rooney’s reinvention as a midfielder has been a mixed affair, and he laboured again while Everton looked underpowered and poor in possession. Allardyce was asked if it is a concern the 32-year-old now struggles against the best opposition. “I can agree with you to a certain degree,” he replied.
It poses a question if Rooney’s appearances are rationed, if Everton’s biggest name is brought out only for the smaller games. They only gained a foothold in midfield when the more energetic Idrissa Gueye replaced him, a solid platform enabling them to spring Leighton Baines and Séamus Coleman forward on the flanks. Briefly, Everton resembled the side who had taken many a major scalp at Goodison Park before their 15-month drought.

For students and professionals just starting off with Revit Architecture training courses, understanding the fundamentals behind how Revit families work is extremely valuable. Whether working on small-scale projects or implementing BIM techniques for projects of a larger magnitude, knowledge in this area constitutes a major portion of all the building elements that go into your Revit project.

For anyone just entering the world of architectural BIM and Revit, working with Revit families is an integral concept to get to grips with. Small and large AEC firms consider family creation and modification an important part of developing a project workflow and bringing standardisation into projects. The following sections aim to bring greater clarity into the concept of families:

Basic Overview of Revit Families
A family in Revit consists of a group of elements that have common parameters and a similar graphical representation. As a result, although different objects belonging to the same family may have differing values for some or all of their parameters Christian Pulisic USA Jersey , the set of parameters remain the same. In Revit, some families can be created (or existing ones modified) right in the project environment whilst others have to be created (or edited) outside the project.

Categories of Families
All families in Revit are organised in different categories, such as ceilings, columns, doors Chris Wondolowski USA Jersey , floors, furniture, and furniture systems, among others. The total number of categories remain fixed i.e. the user cannot add more categories or delete the existing ones. The ‘furniture’ category comprises families and family types, including bar stool Chris Pontius USA Jersey , carpet, chair-array, desk-reception, sideboard, and drafting table Brek Shea USA Jersey , among others. To take another example, the ‘columns’ category comprises families, including chamfered column, rectangular column, round column Brad Guzan USA Jersey , and wood timber column.

Family Types
Simply put, these are the variants existing within the same family. For instance, a ‘cabinet-storage’ family consists of four variants, each varying in dimensions. The key point to note is that these four variations have the same set of parameters; however, the value of those parameters varies. Unlike categories Brad Evans USA Jersey , users can create new (or delete existing) family types within the project environment.

Changing Family Type Parameters vs. Changing Family Instance Parameters
One of the important things that beginners need to understand is the difference between changing parameters of family types and modifying parameters of individual family instances. Each element inserted in a Revit project is an instance of a particular family type. This instance is an entity which has a set of properties. When you change these parameters (called family instance parameters), you are modifying a single instance of a respective family type. On the contrary, when you change type parameters, all the instances of the said family type placed in the project change accordingly.
As a case in point, if we place 15 double.
