Epic's Fortnite Infinity Blade'Repair' Feels Dangerously Close To Trolling

Fortnite has introduced a Fortnite Items brand new god grade weapon that nicely, literally makes you a god. The Infinity Blade is Fortnite Items a one-location-only sword you're able to pull out of the floor at Polar Peak, and it transforms you into a superpowered death tornado. It's comparable to if Thanos arrived in Fortnite, but the huge difference is that this isn't a separate LTM in the game, but a part of all the standard modes.

Players and pros alike have been calling for Epic to remove the sword from aggressive, or even to remove it entirely from regular Fortnite manners and also to make it its LTM rather like we had with Thanos. But the only response from Epic concerning the problem from Epic was buried up to Now in a downvoted reddit thread I could barely find it:

"We have fixed a problem that was causing the Infinity Blade to give +100 HP on elimination in Explorer Pop-Up Cup, instead of +50 HP. Eliminations using the Infinity Blade in the Explorer Pop-Up Cup will only provide +50 HP." That is right, Epic's only comment on all this is saying that they have fixed a bug that was granting 100 wellbeing on kill instead of 50 wellbeing on kill.

I mean, surethat bug was fortnite weapons creating the sword even more OP, but it's like 5 percent of the issue and doesn't speak to buy fortnite weapons the core issue, that's the very existence of the sword at the first place. I requested Epic directly and they told me that they had no opinion.
