Eagles players and officials made individual decisions to not go to the White House for a scheduled celebration of their Super Bowl title Womens Kareem Hunt Jersey , leaving two players actually planning to make the trip to Washington before the visit was canceled by President Donald Trump, according to players and a person familiar with the arrangements.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity Wednesday because of the sensitivity of the issues.
All-Pro center Jason Kelce said players filled out forms anonymously indicating whether they wanted to go to the White House, not make the trip or go to Washington and do something else. ”It’s a little bit disappointing as a country right now that we’re so divided, I think that’s the bigger disappointment,” said Kelce, who became a folk hero in Philadelphia for an impassioned, profane rally speech he gave after a day of antics during the city’s Super Bowl parade.
The players did not urge a collective decision on what to do as a team, giving each player his own option of whether to take the trip.
Defensive end Chris Long, who skipped the trip last year when he was with the New England Patriots and again decided early to not attend, said he hopes athletes on championship teams in all sports won’t have to make the decision when Trump’s term is up for re-election in 2020.
”The players didn’t create this division (in the country),” Long said. ”I’m extremely proud to be part of this team.”
Safety Malcolm Jenkins, an outspoken leader for social reforms, held up handwritten signs on issues important to him and other players instead of verbally answering questions.
”You aren’t listening,” one sign said. Another said that former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick gave $1 million to charity. Kaepernick began the wave of kneeling protests in the NFL as a way to protest racism and police brutality, and is working through a grievance case against the league after he was not signed by any team following his run with San Francisco.
Another sign by Jenkins read: ”More than 60 percent of people in prison are people of color.”
Coach Doug Pederson said before practice that he was looking forward to going to the White House to be recognized as Super Bowl champions but he wouldn’t further discuss details of the trip’s breakdown. He declined to provide information on how things escalated to the White House accusing players of abandoning their fans by deciding to not attend.
”What you’ve seen and what you’ve heard is enough. I’m not discussing it,” Pederson said. ”The team is great. We’re united. Our goal is 2018. It’s over. It’s behind us. We’re moving on.”
Trump rescinded his invitation late Monday and instead turned the ceremony for the Eagles on Tuesday into his own brief ”Celebration of America” after it became clear most players weren’t going to show up. Trump tied the dispute to his criticism of players who have kneeled during the national anthem Henrik Lundqvist Jersey Kids , even though no Eagles players kneeled for the song during the 2017 season.
Also Wednesday, hockey player Devante Smith-Pelly said he would skip a White House visit if the Washington Capitals win the Stanley Cup. Smith-Pelly, one of two black Capitals players, spoke about Trump to Canada’s Postmedia.
”The things that he spews are straight-up racist and sexist,” Smith-Pelly said with the Capitals a victory away from their first title. ”Some of the things he’s said are pretty gross. I’m not too into politics, so I don’t know all his other views, but his rhetoric I definitely don’t agree with. It hasn’t come up here, but I think I already have my mind made up.”
On Tuesday, NBA stars LeBron James and Curry both said they wouldn’t visit.
Eagles Tight end Zach Ertz wore a Team USA soccer jersey while answering questions and said he’s ”proud to be an American.”
”Everyone in this locker room understands that everyone’s heart is in the right place,” Ertz said. ”We weren’t going to let someone try and formulate an agenda. What’s unique about this locker room is that everyone’s treated with respect, people truly care about one another, people respect other people’s opinions. We’re united.”
Long took a shot at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for staying silent on the matter.
”If he doesn’t want to stand up for his players, that’s not my business,” Long said. ”I know my teammates are great men. There’s men of faith in this locker room. There’s men who serve their communities. There’s men who have a lot who give back to people with a lot less.”

After missing the playoffs for the second straight year, and eighth time in the last 11, the New York Islanders head into the offseason with much work to be done.
The most important task is signing captain John Tavares Authentic Ryan Kerrigan Jersey , who is set to be a free agent this summer.
Tavares has said all along he hopes to be back with the only franchise he’s played for, but doesn’t know what will happen. However, with the season having ended less than 48 hours ago, he needs to take a breather first. ”Take some time to not even think about hockey for a few days,” Tavares said Monday. ”And then prepare for the offseason and training, and obviously the contract will come up here as well.”
Tavares, 27, just wrapped up the final year of a six-year, $33 million contract, and would be the top free agent available July 1. The face of the Islanders since they selected him No. 1 overall in the 2009 draft, Tavares had 37 goals and 47 assists this season, finishing a goal and an assist shy of the career highs he set in 2014-15.
”This is where I hope to be and I’ve stated that,” he said. ”Just have to take some time and figure out what I want to do.”
Islanders co-owner Jon Ledecky and general manager Garth Snow have both repeatedly said they want Tavares to return, and Snow reiterated that Monday.
”We want to be in a situation where he has the Stanley Cup in his hand, wearing an Islanders jersey, and we want him to retire as an Islander Authentic Jordan Eberle Jersey ,” Snow said.
Ledecky read a statement in which he declined to address the futures of any player, or the statuses of Snow and coach Doug Weight, saying the team was ”committed to long-term success,” and defined that as ”competing every year for the Stanley Cup and eventually winning a fifth ring.”
He added: ”For the past season, as owners we have failed. We sincerely apologize to our fans. We want to express that our ownership group is totally committed to winning and providing the resources to do just that.”
The Islanders finished 35-37-10 despite getting off to a strong start in which they won 15 of their first 24 games.
However, injuries to defensemen Calvin de Haan and Johnny Boychuk started them on a tailspin in which they lost 30 of their final 45 games (15-24-6).
There were some bright spots, led by Mathew Barzal’s 22 goals and 63 assists that make him the leading candidate for the Calder Trophy as the league’s top rookie. Also, Anders Lee had the franchise’s first 40-goal season since Jason Blake in 2006-07, and Josh Bailey had career bests of 18 goals and 53 assists.
Some other things to know as the Islanders head into the offseason:
IMPROVING THE DEFENSE
Finding a way to improve the defense needs to be the second priority this summer – after retaining Tavares. The Islanders finished eighth in the league in scoring with 261 goals, but gave up a league-worst 293. They were also last in shots allowed and penalty-killing,
Nick Leddy had an unseemly minus-42 rating, the league’s worst since Pittsburgh’s Rico Fata (minus-46) in 2003-04. Calvin de Haan was lost for the season in December and is also set to be free agent. On the bright side, Ryan Pulock and Adam Pelech, both 23, established themselves as solid young defensemen.
THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT
Barzal and Anthony Beauvillier, both 20 Jonathan Marchessault Jersey , formed a solid second line with Jordan Eberle, 27, combining for 180 points to complement the top line of Lee-Tavares-Bailey (217).
Eberle had 25 goals and 34 assists in his first season in New York, and Beauvillier had a breakout second season in the NHL with 21 goals and 15 assists.
WHO’S IN GOAL?
Thomas Greiss is the only goalie signed for next season, with Jaroslav Halak set to be an unrestricted free agent. Greiss dealt with an injury down the stretch and finished 13-8-2 with one shutout and a 3.82 goals-against average.
Halak was 20-26-6 with a shutout and a 3.16 GAA in the final season of a four-year deal. The 32-year-old had a solid first season, going 38-17-4 with a 2.43 GAA in 2014-15, but totaled just 50 wins the last three years.
SNOW’S JOB
With the Islanders having made the playoffs just four times in 12 years since Snow was hired as the GM, he was asked if he deserved to stay on the job.
”Yeah,” he said. ”When I took over this position it was a situation where it was an all-out rebuild. … Now we’re in a situation where we feel we can compete for a Stanley Cup.
”You can go through the lineup and have a pretty common theme of successful stories of where we’ve built through the draft. And I think our prospect pool at this point in time is impressive as well.”
HOME AND HOME
The team’s struggles this season were punctuated by losses at Barclays Center, where they were 59-26-16 since moving to the Brooklyn arena before the 2015-16 season.
However, they lost 15 of their final 22 games there to finish with a losing record on home ice for the first time since 2013-14.
Now, the Islanders will be splitting home games between Barclays Center and the Nassau Coliseum – their former home – for at least the next three seasons until a new arena is built at Belmont Park.

FLORHAM PARK Womens Terrell Suggs Jersey , N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have signed four players to their 10-man practice squad, including 2017 sixth-round pick Jeremy Clark.
The defensive back, who played both safety and cornerback during training camp, joined safety Brandon Bryant and linebackers Frankie Luvu and Anthony Wint on the practice squad Sunday.
Clark missed almost all of last season while recovering from a knee injury suffered while playing at Michigan. He played in the regular-season finale last December against New England.
Bryant signed with the Jets after going unselected in this year’s supplemental draft. The former Mississippi State star had six tackles in New York’s preseason finale at Philadelphia.
Luvu, an undrafted free agent out of Washington State, had an impressive camp while running with the Jets’ first-team defense at times.
Wint was signed by New York after rookie minicamp following a standout career at Florida International.
Zach Eflin and the Phillies are on a roll.
Eflin pitched seven strong innings for his sixth straight victory, Andrew Knapp had the winning hit for the second straight game and Philadelphia beat the Baltimore Orioles 3-2 on Tuesday night for its 11th win in 16 games.
Rhys Hoskins had a two-run double, rookie Seranthony Dominguez pitched four outs for his eighth save and Maikel Franco made a game-saving defensive play for the Phillies Youth Dion Phaneuf Jersey , who pulled within 2 1/2 games of the Braves for first place in the NL East.
”It was a great team win,” Eflin said.
Eflin (7-2) allowed two runs and five hits with six strikeouts and no walks to become the first Phillies pitcher since Cliff Lee in 2011 to record six consecutive wins. The right-hander has a 1.91 ERA while striking out 34 and walking six in 37 2/3 innings over that stretch.
”More aggressive and trusting my pitches,” Eflin said.
The Phillies bullpen preserved the win, but it got interesting.
Tommy Hunter got the first two outs of the eighth before manager Gabe Kapler went to Dominguez with Orioles star Manny Machado up.
”One of the best hitters in the game, you try to neutralize him with your best bullet,” Kapler said.
Dominguez walked Machado and Mark Trumbo to load the bases for Chris Davis. Franco made a stellar diving play to his right at third base to snare Davis’ ground ball before throwing him out at first to keep the Phillies ahead 3-2. The out was upheld after an Orioles challenge.
”Play of the game,” Kapler said. ”Got us the win.”
Franco, who has been in and out of the lineup this season Mikko Rantanen Jersey , cherished the out.
”I just tried to make a good play and make a good throw,” he said. ”I wanted that play so bad.”
Trumbo homered for Baltimore, which has dropped eight of nine.
”The effort was there,” Trumbo said. ”The frustration, it’s as much as you make of it.”
The game was delayed 1 hour, 25 minutes due to rain and played mostly under a persistent drizzle.
Philadelphia took a one-run lead in the fourth on Knapp’s two-out triple to right off Alex Cobb (2-10) that scored Nick Williams. Knapp, Philadelphia’s backup catcher, started two days after his game-ending homer in the 13th lifted the Phillies over the Nationals 4-3.
Cobb gave up three runs on four hits with five strikeouts and three walks in 6 2/3 innings.
Trumbo staked Baltimore to a 1-0 lead by crushing Eflin’s 94 mph fastball into the seats in left in the second.
Philadelphia went in front 2-1 in the third on Hoskins’ two-out double off the wall in left that scored Franco and Cesar Hernandez.
CHEERS FOR MANNY
Machado Authentic Harrison Smith Jersey , speculated to be a target of the Phillies either via trade or free agency, was loudly cheered when he was introduced by PA announcer Dan Baker prior to the contest.
EFLIN’S BLISTER
Eflin was pulled after just 82 pitches, and Kapler said that was partly because of a blister on Eflin’s right middle finger. Eflin said he was ready and able to continue if asked. Eflin was hampered consistently by blisters last season, but Tuesday was his first time dealing with one this year.
TRAINER’S ROOM
Orioles: OF Colby Rasmus has been placed on the restricted list after informing the club that he was leaving the team. Rasmus has struggled with a left hip injury for two seasons. Wilkerson, who is 4 for 17 since making his debut June 20, was injured in Sunday’s 8-2 win over the Angels.
Phillies: RHP Jerad Eickhoff (right lat strain) will throw live batting practice Wednesday. He has been out all season. … Reliever Edubray Ramos (right shoulder impingement), who has been on the DL since June 25 Christopher Tanev Jersey , threw a bullpen Tuesday and could be activated on Friday.

Alfred Morris knew the right opportunity would come Vladimir Tarasenko Jersey , even as training camps opened and he remained home in Texas.
Once the San Francisco 49ers called, Morris didn't take long to get comfortable with his new team.
With a stellar performance in Saturday's exhibition at Indianapolis, the veteran running back appears to have earned a spot on the 49ers' 53-man roster.
Coach Kyle Shanahan said Morris may not even suit up for Thursday's exhibition finale against the Los Angeles Chargers, a strong indication that the staff already views Morris as a regular-season contributor.
Patience paid off for the two-time Pro Bowler.
"I wasn't panicking," Morris said of the wait to find a job. "It wasn't if I would be on a team, it was when. I had teams reaching out, even in OTAs, but I didn't think it would be a good fit so I turned it down. I knew I would get an opportunity. It was just waiting for the right opportunity."
The 29-year-old Morris carried 17 times for 84 yards in Saturday's 23-17 loss to the Colts, displaying a physical style of running that should fit well with San Francisco's offense. Starting running back Jerick McKinnon is known more for speed and shiftiness, and the 5-foot-10, 222-pound Morris can provide a bruising change of pace.
McKinnon and second-string running back Matt Breida have missed the majority of the preseason with injuries, which provided the opening for the 49ers to sign Morris on Aug. 13.
McKinnon (strained calf) and Breida (separated shoulder) are expected to be available for the Sept. 9 opener at Minnesota.
Shanahan, who's familiar with Morris when both were with the Washington Redskins, liked what he saw Saturday.
"It was just good to see him do it live Authentic Clay Matthews Jersey ," Shanahan said. "I thought we blocked very well, so we gave him an opportunity to do it. . But we had a couple 3rd-and-1's where I thought we missed a guy (blocking) in the backfield and he got hit behind the line of scrimmage but still was able to get us a yard. Those are the ones that allow you to stay on the field and keep running plays."
There isn't a ton of intrigue left before the 49ers cut down to their final 53-man roster. One battle is at right guard between Mike Person and Josh Garnett, but when asked about Person, Shanahan said, "It's his job to lose right now."
Shanahan confirmed that backup quarterback C.J. Beathard would start Thursday against the Chargers. Jimmy Garoppolo and several other starters are expected to be held out to avoid injury.
When training camp began, Morris was at home in Cross Roads, Texas, a town of less than 1,500 people. He relished the extra time with his wife, Lindsey, their 3-year-old son, Josiah, and their 1-year-old daughter, Grace. At times Bobby Ryan Jersey , Morris said, he had to calm his wife's nerves about when he might get a call from an NFL team.
"I had a peace, honestly," he said. "At times my wife was like, 'Well, what's going on?' And I'm like, 'It's OK, it's OK.'"
NOTES: Linebacker Reuben Foster (concussion) and running back Joe Williams (ribs) didn't practice Wednesday, although Shanahan wouldn't rule either out for Thursday. Foster would have to clear concussion protocol. . Tight end George Kittle (shoulder) returned to practice in a limited capacity. . The 49ers signed undrafted running back Ja'Quan Gardner to a three-year deal Tuesday and waived safety Chanceller James.
Chris Paul had 27 points and 12 rebounds while James Harden scored 24 points to power the Houston Rockets to a 100-87 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday night, taking a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference semifinal series.
Paul, playing the sidekick to Harden for most of his first season in Houston, took center stage, controlling the tempo and getting to his favorite spots as the Rockets led from start to finish.
Donovan Mitchell scored 25 before fouling out and Joe Ingles had 15 for the Jazz.
Mitchell started finding lanes to the basket late and got the Jazz within 85-80 after he fueled a 10-2 run. But Paul, who matched his scoring high for this playoff run Milan Lucic Jersey Kids , hit a pull-up jumper and found Trevor Ariza for a 3-pointer to put the Rockets back up by double digits and they never looked back.
NEW ORLEANS (AP) – Kevin Durant had 38 points and nine rebounds and Golden State soundly defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 118-92 on Sunday to take a commanding 3-1 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series.
The Warriors responded to their 19-point loss in Game 3 with a resounding effort that produced a wire-to-wire win with leads as large as 26 points.
Durant made 15 of 27 shots. Stephen Curry scored 23, Klay Thompson added 13 and Quinn Cook, who was a Pelicans reserve earlier this season, contributed 12 points.
NEW YORK (AP) – The NBA has fined Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri $25,000 for walking onto the court at halftime of Game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers to verbally confront officials for reversing a call.
It stems from an incident that occurred Saturday night during the Raptors’ 105-103 loss to the Cavaliers.
Toronto had been called for 14 fouls in the first half, compared with eight for Cleveland. The Raptors were irate that what had appeared to be a Serge Ibaka basket and potential free throw was downgraded to a foul with no basket and no free throw.
CLEVELAND (AP) – LeBron James banked in a running one-hander at the buzzer, giving Cleveland a 105-103 win over Toronto on Saturday night in Game 3 and shoving the Raptors to the edge of their most devastating playoff exit.
After the Raptors tied it on rookie OG Anunoby’s 3-pointer with eight seconds left, James took the inbounds pass, dribbled the length of the floor and in one motion, dropped his 10-footer in front of Toronto’s stunned bench.
James finished with 38 points, Kevin Love added 21 and 16 rebounds and Kyle Korver 18 for the Cavs, who can sweep the Raptors for the second straight year.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Al Horford scored the go-ahead basket for Boston late in overtime in a wild Game 3 where the Philadelphia 76ers gave away the basketball and the confetti, leading the Celtics to a 101-98 win on Saturday night.
The Celtics go for the sweep on Monday.
The ending to regulation was about as wild as it gets for both teams. JJ Redick threw away the basketball on an errant pass to no one that was scooped by Terry Rozier who threw to Jaylen Brown for the basket and an 89-87 lead.
Seconds later, Marco Belinelli stunned everyone with a falling 22-footer in front of the 76ers bench as time expired that sent the game into overtime – and confetti mistakenly blasted from the cannon. There was about a seven-minute delay while team employees scrambled to clean up the mess on the court.

SAN JOSE Womens Henrik Zetterberg Jersey , Calif. (AP) – Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves in his fourth shutout of the playoffs and the expansion Vegas Golden Knights are headed to the Western Conference Final in their inaugural season after beating the San Jose Sharks 3-0 in Game 6 of their second-round series Sunday.
Jonathan Marchessault opened the scoring, Nate Schmidt added an insurance goal that was only detectable by replay and Cody Eakin sealed it with an empty-netter to help Vegas become just the third team in NHL history to win multiple series in its first season.
The Toronto Arenas won the Stanley Cup in the first postseason in league history in 1918 and St. Louis won two rounds to win the all-expansion West Division in 1968.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) – Brayden Point and J.T. Miller scored second-period goals, helping the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Boston Bruins 3-1 Sunday and advance to the Eastern Conference final for the third time in four years.
Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 27 shots – 14 in the final period – for the Lightning, who rebounded from losing the series opener at home to eliminate the Bruins in five games.
David Krejci scored in the final minute of the first period to give Boston a 1-0 lead that Point erased with his unassisted goal at 10:43 of the second.
Miller’s power-play goal broke the tie less than four minutes later, and Anton Stralman added an empty-netter with 1:29 remaining to end any chance for a Boston comeback.
WASHINGTON (AP) – Jakub Vrana scored the go-ahead goal with 4:38 remaining, Braden Holtby made 35 saves and the Washington Capitals beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3 in Game 5 Saturday night to take a 3-2 lead in the second-round series and put the back-to-back defending Stanley Cup champions on the brink of elimination.
Vrana made coach Barry Trotz look like a genius for moving him to the top line alongside Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov, replacing Devante Smith-Pelly in the second period. Vrana sprung Kuznetsov for a breakaway on Washington’s tying goal 52 seconds into the third and finished off Ovechkin’s pass for the game-winner.

Key losses: RB Jonathan Stewart, OG Andrew Norwell, TE Ed Dickson, DE Charles Johnson, DT Star Lotulelei, CB Daryl Worley, S Kurt Coleman, QB Derek Anderson.
Strengths: Panthers added speed and quickness to ease QB Cam Newton's workload Mario Lemieux Jersey , acquiring veteran WRs Smith and Wright, and drafting Moore and Thomas. Solid depth exists at running back, led by Christian McCaffrey and Anderson. TE Greg Olsen looks healthy and strong after missing nine games last season. Defensive front seven is outstanding, spearheaded by DEs Mario Addison and Julius Peppers (11 sacks each in 2017), DTs Kawaan Short and Dontari Poe, perennial All-Pro MLB Luke Kuechly, and OLBs Shaq Thompson and Thomas Davis (suspended for first four games). PK Graham Gano missed one field goal last season.
Weaknesses: Offensive line devastated by knee injuries in preseason, losing three starters (LT Matt Kalil, RT Daryl Williams and LG Amin Silatulo) to injuries 鈥?although none considered season-ending. Aside from steady CB James Bradberry, secondary remains huge question mark. Speedy rookie CB Jackson expected to start with veteran Ross Cockrell (broken leg) out. Panthers must adjust to three new coordinators: Norv Turner (offense), Eric Washington (defense) and Chase Blackburn (special teams). Roster getting old fast with several core players on wrong side of 30.
Fantasy Players To Watch: Simply put, draft McCaffrey. Coach Ron Rivera wants to get McCaffrey "25 to 30 touches" per game 鈥?more than double rookie season when he had 1,086 combined yards and seven TDs. Breakout season is ahead if he holds up physically. Had 71-yard touchdown run in preseason vs. Dolphins.
Vegas Says: Super Bowl 50-1. Over/under wins 9.
Expectations: Carolina should compete for fifth postseason berth in past six seasons barring any more injuries. But can Panthers get by New Orleans? Saints swept all three games last season, including playoff. Getting offensive linemen back on field ASAP is priority for starting season fast. So, CC Sabathia, did it feel like a really big night in Bronx?
”I wish I could tell you it did,” he said, ”but it didn’t.” Instead, he just pitched as if the calendar read October, rather than June.
Sabathia shut down the high-scoring Red Sox, Greg Bird hit two home runs and Aaron Judge connected off a college teammate as New York bopped Boston 8-1 on Friday evening to edge ahead in the AL East.
Not since the famed Bucky Dent playoff game in 1978 had the Yankees and Red Sox met so late in a season when they owned the two top marks in baseball, the Elias Sports Bureau said. Home runs decided this matchup, too, with Miguel Andujar also going deep for New York.
”I mean, we’re a good club,” New York manager Aaron Boone said. ”We’re a confident group, we know we can play with anyone.”
The biggest crowd of the year at Yankee Stadium was in the spirit as lines formed outside the gates more than 3 1/2 hours before the start. The pro-Yankees chants began prior to the first pitch, the anti-Boston shouts soon followed.
Sabathia (5-3) helped end Boston’s four-game winning streak, less than a month from his 38th birthday. He gave up one run and six hits in seven innings Authentic Melvin Gordon Jersey , and improved to 6-0 in his last seven starts against the Red Sox.
The big lefty bounded off the mound to field Mookie Betts‘ tapper and throw him out to end his outing. Slowed by knee problems in the past, a pumped-up Sabathia kept in motion and jogged to the dugout.
”High-stepping right there, you mean?” he said.
Betts and Andrew Benintendi hit consecutive doubles in the fifth for Boston’s run in the opener of a three-game series.
”It’s important,” Betts said. ”As long as we make it to the playoffs, anything can happen.”
Steve Pearce, acquired a day earlier from Toronto, batted cleanup in his debut for Boston. He doubled on the first pitch he saw and also singled off Sabathia.
”I was actually kind of jittery my first at-bat, so it was good to get that out of the way,” Pearce said.
”It would have been nice if we got the win, so that kind of overshadowed what I did at the plate. But I felt comfortable,” he said. ”It was a great atmosphere.”
Eduardo Rodriguez (9-3) gave up five early runs. Boston fell to 3-4 against its rivals this season, and 12 more games are left.
Judge connected for his 21st homer, a two-run drive in the seventh off Justin Haley. The former Fresno State players eagerly chatted for a while behind the cage during batting practice – after facing each other for the first time in the majors, the rookie reliever angrily kicked at the mound dirt as Judge circled the bases.
”We were really good friends, and it’s a joy to see him having success,” Judge said. ”We respect the competition. He might strike me out tomorrow http://www.officialavalanche.com/authentic-adidas-j.t.-compher-jersey , and I’ll tip my cap to him, and it’ll be see you down the road.”
Gleyber Torres hit his first career triple and scored on Andujar’s single in the second. Torres added a sacrifice fly in a four-run fourth, capped by back-to-back homers from Andujar and Bird.
Bird added a solo drive in the eighth. The Yankees lead the majors with 131 home runs.
”No matter who you facing, if you miss on the plate that’s what’s going to happen,” Rodriguez said.
DRURY’S BACK
3B/1B Brandon Drury was called up from Triple-A and likely will see action with Boston starting left-handers the rest of the weekend. Acquired from Arizona, he began the season as the starting 3B, but went on the DL in early April with blurred vision and migraines. He provides a righty-hitting option at 1B. The team considered promoting Tyler Austin, but he has back trouble.

”He hadn’t gotten a hit in four at-bats,” manager A.J. Hinch said of the second basemen who led the American League in hits each of the past four seasons and is the MLB leader so far this year.
Altuve was actually in an 0-for-13 slide before his fifth at-bat Wednesday night against the Texas Rangers. His 115th hit of the season was a one-out single off Chris Martin, who then hit Yuli Gurriel with a pitch before an errant pickoff throw allowed both runners to move up. That set up Evan Gattis‘ tiebreaking sacrifice fly in a 5-4 victory.
Gurriel homered, doubled and scored twice as the Astros overcame an early four-run deficit. His fifth homer, leading off the fifth against starter Mike Minor, tied the game at 4.
Josh Reddick also went deep for the Astros, who their eighth consecutive road game against Texas and are a majors-best 32-14 on the road this season. The Astros have a 12-4 advantage in the season series between the instate division rivals that has only a three-game set remaining in Houston later this month.
Shin-Soo Choo homered and had a single to extend his on-base streak to 44 games Jamie Benn Jersey , the longest in his career and in the majors this season. That matches Otis Nixon’s streak in 1995 for the Rangers, and trails only Julio Franco’s 46-gamer in 1993 for the team record.
Texas led 4-0 after Choo’s one-out solo homer started a three-run outburst in the third off starter Gerrit Cole.
Collin McHugh (4-0), who won 48 games as a starter for the Astros the past four seasons, allowed only one hit over three scoreless innings. Ken Giles worked the 10th for his 12th save in 12 chances.
”You’re talking about a 19-game winner in the big leagues. Those don’t grow on trees,” said Astros reliever Will Harris, who worked out of a jam in the sixth before McHugh took over. ”He goes out there and he knows who he is. He mixes it up, he’s a strike thrower and he’s a fearless guy out there.”
MESSY MOUND
The start of the game was delayed for a few minutes after Minor had issues with the mound during warmups. The ground crew came out to work on the slippery dirt. Cole also was unhappy with the mound. Martin (1-2) slipped and fell down when throwing the pitch that hit Gurriel. The Rangers said afterward that Martin was being evaluated for a left groin issue.
”The mound early seemed to be slick http://www.officialredwings.com/authentic-adidas-dylan-larkin-jersey ,” Rangers manager Jeff Banister said.
DEEP ON THE ROAD
The Astros have homered in 24 consecutive road games, three short of the MLB record set by the Oakland Athletics earlier this season. Baltimore also went deep in 24 consecutive road games in 1996.
RACKING UP K’s
Cole, who threw 108 pitches to get through five innings, struck out seven to increase his season total to 158. The only Astros pitcher with more strikeouts before the All-Star break is Mike Scott, with 167 in 22 starts in 1986. Cole has made 18 starts, with two more scheduled before the break. … In four starts against Texas this season, Cole has 40 strikeouts in 25 innings.
FAR FROM PERFECT
Minor retired the first 19 San Diego batters he faced in his previous start a week earlier. The lefty allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits over six innings against Houston with four strikeouts and three walks.
”Probably not as sharp as he’s been http://www.officialsabres.com/authentic-adidas-jack-eichel-jersey ,” Banister said. ”Looked like they were sitting on slider.”
TRAINER’S ROOM
Astros: Hinch said C Max Stassi was feeling better than expected after getting hit by a pitch on his right (throwing) wrist in the first inning Tuesday, on the same day starting catcher Brian McCann had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Rangers: 3B Adrian Beltre, baseball’s active career hits leader (3,108), was scratched from the lineup about an hour before the game because of an infected tooth. He had a root canal and then traveled with the team to Detroit. … RHP Tony Barnette went on the 10-day disabled list. An MRI revealed a strained lat that will keep him from throwing for at least four weeks. He left Tuesday night’s game in the middle of a batter.
UP NEXT
Astros: Justin Verlander (9-4), who has lost his last two starts, is on the mound when the Astros return home for the opener Thursday night of a four-game series against the Chicago White Sox.
Rangers: The Rangers open a 10-game Victor Hedman Jersey , 11-day trip that will take them to the All-Star break when they play Thursday night at Detroit. Texas also plays at Boston and Baltimore before their next home game July 20.

The Oakland Raiders have signed cornerback Daryl Worley just over a week after his release by Philadelphia following an arrest.
Worley was let go by the Eagles on April 15 after being arrested near the Eagles' practice facility. Police used a Taser on him after he became combative and NFL Network also reported that a gun was found in Worley's vehicle.
Philadelphia had acquired Worley earlier in the offseason from Carolina in a trade for receiver Torrey Smith. Worley was a third-round pick by the Panthers in 2016 and had 150 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions and 19 passes defensed in 31 games.
The Raiders also announced on Monday that they have exercised the fifth-year option on receiver Amari Cooper. After posting 1,000-yard seasons in his first two seasons in the NFL, Cooper struggled last season with 48 catches for 680 yards and seven TDs.
The $13.9 million option keeps Cooper under Oakland's control through 2019. It is only guaranteed for injury.
Authentic Washington Redskins Jerseys
Pittsburgh’s drama-filled season ended shockingly. A final Authentic Jordan Reed Jersey , forgettable act.
No shot at the Patriots. No seventh Super Bowl trophy. No tomorrow.
And when it ended following a game no one expected, Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown and the rest of the dejected Steelers searched to find words to describe all that had gone wrong. This was a struggle from the start.
”It wasn’t our day,” Roethlisberger said. ”It wasn’t our year.”
Doomed by two first-half turnovers and a pair of head-scratching play calls on fourth down, Pittsburgh was stunned in the AFC playoffs by the Jacksonville Jaguars, who outslugged the Steelers 45-42 on Sunday to earn a trip to New England for next week’s conference championship.
Roethlisberger, who had wondered if he was washed up after throwing five interceptions in a loss to the Jags on Oct. 9 Victor Hedman Jersey , set a franchise postseason record with five touchdown passes but it wasn’t enough as the Steelers (13-4) couldn’t stop a Jacksonville offense that was supposedly weak.
”It’s disheartening,” said Brown, who caught two TD passes and played at his All-Pro level while battling a calf injury. ”I thought we had the right guys. As a player, you live for these moments. Now we start all over.”
As Roethlisberger dressed at one end of Pittsburgh’s locker room, a few of his teammates sat at their stalls in disbelief.
This wasn’t the plan.
Cam Heyward handled wave after wave of questions about the team’s numerous defensive lapses. Bell downplayed that his messy contract situation created an unnecessary distraction in the days leading up to the game, and cornerback Artie Burns sat in his uniform and stared blankly at the floor.
The Steelers never recovered from a 21-0 first-half deficit and are now left to wonder what might have been. Twice they got within seven in the second half only to give up back-breaking plays to the Jaguars, who rushed for 168 yards and seemed to come up with a big play whenever they needed one.
”It’s crazy that we couldn’t get off the field,” Heyward said. ”They played better than us – simple as that.”
The Jaguars had the Steelers out of step early on. After rookie Leonard Fournette’s second TD Womens Jared Goff Jersey , the score set up by linebacker Myles Jack’s interception of Roethlisberger, Jacksonville was up 14-0 and Pittsburgh’s rowdy fans were using their Terrible Towels to muffle their disgust.
The Steelers seemed to panic when coach Mike Tomlin elected to go on fourth-and-inches and then inexplicably ran a sweep to Bell that got snuffed. Later, Roethlisberger threw an incompletion on fourth down when a simple sneak might have moved the chains.
”We didn’t execute well enough and they did,” Tomlin said when asked about his decisions.
Roethlisberger went 37 of 58 for 469 yards and the five TDs, the last coming with 1 second left.
It was a sobering moment for the star quarterback who has orchestrated so many comeback wins during a 14-year career. Roethlisberger found some solace in his final throw.
”Nobody quit and that speaks volumes about this team,” he said.
Roethlisberger also dismissed any talk the Steelers were looking past the Jaguars and a rematch with the Patriots, who handed Pittsburgh its only loss in the last 11 games.
”We were dialed in,” he said. ”I know I wasn’t looking forward.”
Bell finished with 155 total yards and afterward sidestepped much talk about his contract. He was franchise tagged by the team for $12 million this season and has made it clear he wants more money.
”I wasn’t thinking about it Duncan Keith Jersey ,” he said. ”All I was thinking about was getting to the Super Bowl.”
As for his own future, Roethlisberger indicated that he intends to return next season. The 35-year-old has hinted at retirement, but that seemed far from his mind as he swallowed a loss few saw coming.
”I don’t know what’s going on with people’s contracts,” he said. ”I don’t know how many years guys have left. I know the guys up front are all under contract and that’s a good feeling. I definitely have a desire to play football. I love this game. I love these guys. It’s tough. It stings.
”You hate losing at home. I feel bad because I feel like I let the fans down and my teammates down. I feel like I let a lot of people down and I’ll take it all myself. I look forward to next year with those guys.”

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) New York Jets linebacker Dylan Donahue received a three-month suspended sentence and was fined $1,000 for a DUI crash in his hometown of Billings, Montana.
The Billings Gazette reports Donahue pleaded guilty Friday through his attorney and was sentenced at the same Municipal Court hearing.
Donahue was charged after hitting an abandoned vehicle in May 2017, causing his Jeep to flip. The crash happened 10 days after he was drafted.
Donahue pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving while intoxicated for causing a wrong-way crash in February that injured four people in the Lincoln Tunnel Blake Comeau Jersey , a 1.5-mile (2.4 kilometer) tunnel under the Hudson River that connects Weehawken, New Jersey, to Manhattan.
Donahue spent a month in a substance-abuse treatment facility in Florida soon after the tunnel crash and told reporters Thursday he hadn’t had alcohol since then.

New Orleans Saints Customized Jerseys
The Dolphins kept both Brock Osweiler and David Fales as backup quarterbacks on their initial 53-man roster and coach Adam Gase said Sunday that he doesn’t anticipate dropping either one from the roster if the team moves to add players at other positions.
Gase said that the plan is to have both Osweiler and Fales Womens Todd Gurley Jersey , each of whom played for Gase with other teams, behind Ryan Tannehill all season.
“It’s one of the most important positions in football. … We wanted to make sure we have the right guy,” Gase said, via Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.
Gase did not specify which of the quarterbacks would come into a game in the event Tannehill needs to come out. He said the order on the depth chart changes “day to day.”
The rumor mill is in overdrive, with nuggets such as these: LeBron James has looked at schools in Los Angeles, he’s not particularly fond of Houston and he’s hugging restaurant diners in Miami.
Ah, free agency is back.
It technically starts Sunday at 12:01 a.m. EDT in the East, 9:01 p.m. Saturday out West, but is already well underway everywhere in the sense that everybody is talking about what might happen. James is once again the biggest domino that will fall; he may opt out of his contract, but that doesn’t mean he’ll leave Cleveland – and he may opt in for nearly $36 million next season Colton Parayko Jersey , but that doesn’t mean he’s certain to be staying, either.
Boston guard Kyrie Irving has a word for these days: Pre-agency.
”That’s actually a title to describe what’s going on now,” Irving said. ”But yeah, we know that 12 a.m. July 1st, that’s when it just starts getting nutty.”
James is hardly the only person who will create that nuttiness.
Paul George has a decision to make about his future; stay in Oklahoma City or move on, with the Los Angeles Lakers believed to be his dream destination. San Antonio has big decisions to make about Kawhi Leonard; they can take a risk and keep him for the final year of his contract, offer him a new deal or trade him elsewhere. And what happens in their cases will surely impact what James does, much in the same way the Chris Bosh decision in 2010 helped really pave the way for him to go to Miami.
Thing is, nobody knows what’ll happen. Hence, the intrigue.
”That’s the challenge in this league Jakub Vrana Jersey ,” James said during the NBA Finals, when his Cavaliers were swept by Golden State. ”I think every GM and every president and every coaching staff is trying to figure out how they can make up the right matchups to compete for a championship and win a championship.”
The Los Angeles Lakers will have about $61 million in cap space; half the league might not have any. So this summer, with cap space for most teams at a premium, the biggest moves might have to come through trades.
”There has been a lot of discussion with a lot of teams about a lot of players,” Heat President Pat Riley said. ”I just feel there’s a restlessness on the part of teams, and also there’s a reluctance to do things. … It’s hard to pull the trigger on that kind of thing.”
Golden State’s Kevin Durant will be a free agent in name only – he’s already said he’s returning to the Warriors. Golden State will spend free agency bolstering its bench, and the best team in the NBA should be better in the next couple of weeks.
All that’s left to decide there is what terms Durant wants.
”Whatever he wants,” Golden State general manager Bob Myers said. ”Sometimes you don’t negotiate. … He’s earned the right to sign whatever deal he wants. I just want him to sign `a’ deal. I want him to be happy and want him to know that we want him as long as he wants to be here. He’s earned that, to kind of lay out the terms.”
Philadelphia isn’t tampering, but isn’t being shy: Both coach Brett Brown and newly minted rookie of the year Ben Simmons have come out this offseason and said how much a great veteran will help their team.
”Maybe that is a free agent Womens Robin Lehner Jersey , a big free agent who we can lean on and learn from,” Simmons said.
He didn’t say ”LeBron,” but sure sounds like James.
Houston will look to add James as well in an effort to find the formula that will supplant the Warriors. The Rockets nearly ousted Golden State in the Western Conference finals, wasting double-digit leads in both Game 6 and Game 7 of that series – all while Chris Paul, who seems likely to stay in Houston but could choose to leave, was sidelined with a bad hamstring.
But Rockets star James Harden, the NBA’s MVP, didn’t sound like he would be clamoring for James to come to Houston.
”I don’t think there is a piece that we need to bring in or take away,” Harden said. ”We’re great with what we have.”
Miami is the place where James left Cleveland for once before, and it’s clear that he still enjoys South Florida. And the rumors about him and the Lakers have swirled for some time Authentic Jaccob Slavin Jersey , though Lakers President Magic Johnson – perhaps offering a word of caution – said the rebuild of his team will take two summers.
”We don’t know what people are going to decide to do and we can’t control that,” Johnson said. ”So if guys decide not to come here, it’s not a failure. We turn to next summer. Next summer, if nobody comes and I’m still sitting here like this, then it’s a failure.”
James isn’t looking to fail. But until he decides where he can win, everyone waits.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Russell Westbrook needs 16 rebounds.
His Oklahoma City Thunder need a win even more.
In Wednesday’s regular-season finale at home against the Memphis Grizzlies Mikko Rantanen Jersey , Westbrook has a chance to accomplish something that has never been done in NBA history.
But a win for the Thunder would improve Oklahoma City’s playoff position and could possibly even lift it into a top-four seed in the NBA playoffs.
If Westbrook hits that rebounding mark, he would become the first player in league history to average a triple-double in back-to-back seasons. Westbrook has already clinched double-digit averages in scoring (25.6 points per game) and assists (10.1).
In Monday’s win at Miami that clinched a playoff berth, Westbrook had 18 rebounds to get into striking distance of the mark.
“It would be another incredible milestone this year, but it’s not about that. It’s about our team and it’s about winning,” Thunder coach Billy Donovan said. “Rebounding helps us win. The assists get other people involved. I think it speaks to him as a player, more than anything else, in how unique he is.”
With a win Artemi Panarin Jersey , the worst the Thunder could finish would be as the No. 6 seed, avoiding Western Conference powers Golden State and Houston in the first round.
A loss to Memphis could drop Oklahoma City into a matchup against one of the two behemoths.
Oklahoma City needs Portland to beat Utah on Wednesday, coupled with a win over the Grizzlies, to earn home-court advantage in the first round.
For Memphis, the game will mark the end of a forgettable season. The Grizzlies will miss the playoffs for the first time in eight seasons.
A loss would give Memphis 60 losses in a season for the first time in a decade.
The Grizzlies’ season had plenty of promise before point guard Mike Conley was lost for the year in mid-November, eventually requiring surgery to repair his injured heel.
Memphis should land a high draft pick after clinching the second-worst record in the NBA with Monday’s loss at Minnesota.
The Grizzlies will have about a 20 percent chance at earning the top pick in the draft and the worst pick they could have is No. 5.
But even with their struggles, Grizzlies interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff said the players have made progress and competed well http://www.officialsabres.com/authentic-adidas-jack-eichel-jersey , even if wins have been hard to come by.
“Every time they step on the floor they compete to win and that’s the sign of what you want in your program,” Bickerstaff, who replaced David Fizdale in late November, told the Memphis Commercial Appeal. “Everybody from the outside can say whatever they want to say. That’s just a distraction. It’s disrespectful to say those guys are tanking and trying to lose because those guys that are on the floor every night have something to prove, whether it’s here, whether it’s somewhere else. If it’s another team, you know Womens Justin Tucker Jersey , these guys want to stick. They want to be a part of the NBA so every single night they’re giving their best effort.”
It’s been known for a while that receiver Terrell Owens will grace the cover of the Hall of Fame edition of the Madden 19 video game. The base edition of the game will feature a guy who is systematically putting together his own Hall of Fame credentials.
Steelers receiver Antonio Brown will be on the cover of Madden 19.
Being on the cover isn’t quite what it used to be, because most people download the game directly to their consoles without ever buying the box that contains it. Still, Brown’s presence will surely dominate the start-up screen that will be seen by every Madden player, every time the game is loaded.
For Steelers fans who play Madden, that will be a nice break from the last two years, which features Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on Madden 18 and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski on Madden 17.
The game has been around for 30 years now, and for more than a decade it’s been the only console game licensed to use NFL logos Jason Zucker Jersey , names, and likenesses. Although there was a stretch where the game maybe wasn’t improving the way that it would have improved if actual competition existed (like the 2K series), the last three editions have been great. Here’s hoping Madden 19 will be even greater.

In general, we can not compare the heat of both games in a "fair" way. Because Fortnite is available on three different platforms, the PS4, the Xbox One as well as the PC, and especially its Battle Royale mode - the reason for Fortnite Items this terrible growth - is free-to-play.
Meanwhile, all of PUBG's players are now on PC, and most of them spend $ 30 (~ 680k in Vietnamese currency) to own the game. As of December 12, more than a month later, the new PUBG landed on the Xbox One for the Fortnite Weapons same price.
The most common point between these two games, perhaps the hackers are more and more blatantly abusive.

Wide receiver Martavis Bryant was one of the players cut by the Raiders on Saturday as his bid to make the team ended a little more than four months after Oakland sent a third-round pick to the Steelers to acquire him in a trade.
Bryant’s release came at the same time that word broke that he’s facing another suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. It also came after a summer that saw Bryant come in for criticism from Raiders head coach Jon Gruden on multiple occasions聽and General Manager Reggie McKenzie said that the total package wasn’t something the team could rely on this season.
“The bottom line: With the competition we had Youth JuJu Smith-Schuster Jersey , we feel like we got some good players, man,” McKenzie said, via ESPN.com. “And with Martavis, he missed some practice Carl Soderberg Jersey , a lot of practice time with minor ailments, and guys just came in and competed. And at the end of the day, the guys we rewarded were the guys who came to work every day and made plays. We just didn’t see it from him at the end of the day. It made it clear that he was not going to be one of the guys we were going to be able to count on.”
Bryant missed the entire 2016 season because of a suspension and could be looking at another ban of that length. If so, it would be a major blow to his chances of continuing his NFL career with any team in the future.
As noted on Thursday, the “dramatic turn” in the Colin Kaepernick collusion grievance promised by lawyer Mark Geragos presents its own drama. Either Geragos delivers or he doesn’t Authentic Artturi Lehkonen Jersey , and he’ll take the heat that goes along with writing a check that reality couldn’t honor if there is no dramatic turn.
So as we wait for the dramatic outcome to the promise of a dramatic turn, let’s spend some time wondering what it may be. Geragos suggested that someone would be dropping a dime, which presumably would cause the NFL to drop a deuce. (Geragos actually said someone will “dime out” the NFL, but if I didn’t phrase it as “dropping a dime” it would have looked odd to use “drop a deuce.” And I never turn down a chance to use “drop a deuce.” And now I’ve been able to use “drop a deuce” three times. Actually, four.)
So if someone is going to be dropping a dime Colton Sissons Jersey , it would have to be someone who knows what’s been going on. While discussing the Geragos claim during Thursday’s PFT Live, I wondered aloud whether the dime-dropper will be former NFL P.R. executive Joe Lockhart, who surely knows what was going regarding any potential coordination (collusion) between the league office and the teams in order to keep Kaepernick unemployed. With word emerging on Wednesday that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had testified that he was “proud” to see Lockhart gone, maybe Lockhart decided to take the gloves off.
Although it’s been impossible to track down any details in the day or so since Geragos said what he said, I get the feeling it’s not Lockhart. I get the feeling it could be someone in even better position to drop the kind of dime that would indeed result in Ivan Provorov Jersey , well, it would be immature to use it a fifth time. Eagles players and officials made individual decisions to not go to the White House for a scheduled celebration of their Super Bowl title http://www.officialredwings.com/authentic-adidas-dylan-larkin-jersey , leaving two players actually planning to make the trip to Washington before the visit was canceled by President Donald Trump, according to players and a person familiar with the arrangements.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity Wednesday because of the sensitivity of the issues.
All-Pro center Jason Kelce said players filled out forms anonymously indicating whether they wanted to go to the White House, not make the trip or go to Washington and do something else.
"It's a little bit disappointing as a country right now that we're so divided, I think that's the bigger disappointment," said Kelce, who became a folk hero in Philadelphia for an impassioned, profane rally speech he gave after a day of antics during the city's Super Bowl parade.
The players did not urge a collective decision on what to do as a team, giving each player his own option of whether to take the trip.
Defensive end Chris Long, who skipped the trip last year when he was with the New England Patriots and again decided early to not attend, said he hopes athletes on championship teams in all sports won't have to make the decision when Trump's term is up for re-election in 2020.
"The players didn't create this division (in the country) Brent Seabrook Jersey Kids ," Long said. "I'm extremely proud to be part of this team."
Safety Malcolm Jenkins, an outspoken leader for social reforms, held up handwritten signs on issues important to him and other players instead of verbally answering questions.
"You aren't listening," one sign said.
Another sign by Jenkins read: "More than 60 percent of people in prison are people of color."
Coach Doug Pederson said before practice that he was looking forward to going to the White House to be recognized as Super Bowl champions but he wouldn't further discuss details of the trip's breakdown. He declined to provide information on how things escalated to the White House accusing players of abandoning their fans by deciding to not attend.
"What you've seen and what you've heard is enough. I'm not discussing it," Pederson said. "The team is great. We're united. Our goal is 2018. It's over. It's behind us. We're moving on."
Trump rescinded his invitation late Monday and instead turned the ceremony for the Eagles on Tuesday into his own brief "Celebration of America" after it became clear most players weren't going to show up. Trump tied the dispute to his criticism of players who have kneeled during the national anthem, even though no Eagles players kneeled for the song during the 2017 season.
Also Wednesday, hockey player Devante Smith-Pelly said he would skip a White House visit if the Washington Capitals win the Stanley Cup. Smith-Pelly, one of two black Capitals players, spoke about Trump to Canada's Postmedia.
"The things that he spews are straight-up racist and sexist Womens Deryk Engelland Jersey ," Smith-Pelly said with the Capitals a victory away from their first title. "Some of the things he's said are pretty gross. I'm not too into politics, so I don't know all his other views, but his rhetoric I definitely don't agree with. It hasn't come up here, but I think I already have my mind made up."
On Tuesday, NBA stars LeBron James and Curry both said they wouldn't visit.
Eagles Tight end Zach Ertz wore a Team USA soccer jersey while answering questions and said he's "proud to be an American."
"Everyone in this locker room understands that everyone's heart is in the right place," Ertz said. "We weren't going to let someone try and formulate an agenda. What's unique about this locker room is that everyone's treated with respect, people truly care about one another, people respect other people's opinions. We're united."
Long took a shot at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for staying silent on the matter.
"If he doesn't want to stand up for his players, that's not my business," Long said. "I know my teammates are great men. There's men of faith in this locker room. There's men who serve their communities. There's men who have a lot who give back to people with a lot less."
The Raiders are leaving Oakland Nikolaj Ehlers Jersey , but Oakland isn’t leaving the Raiders. At least, not all of Oakland.
Raiders owner Mark Davis told lvsportsbiz.com that he expects 10 percent of the season tickets at the new Las Vegas stadium to be bought by Raiders fans who live in Oakland. Another 10 percent, according to Davis, will be Raiders fans who live in Los Angeles, the team’s hope between its two stints in Oakland.
Davis added that, of the Personal Seat Licenses sold to date, 73 percent come from Nevada and the other 27 percent comes from outside the team’s eventual new home state.
As to PSLs, lvsportsbiz.com has obtained some information about the financial investment. According to lvsportsbiz.com, seats from the sections in the corners of the 200 level have PSLs of $7,000 or $7 Youth Jaden Schwartz Jersey ,500 per seat, with an annual cost of season tickets at $3,300. In the club levels of the stadium, PSLs will cost as much as $75,000 per seat.
It’s still not entirely clear whether the stadium will open in 2020 or 2021, and it’s also not known where the Raiders will play in 2019; their lease in Oakland expires after the coming season.

LeBron James is inspiring more than just kids with his school in Akron.
Cleveland Browns cornerback T.J. Carrie said Wednesday that the NBA star has motivated him and other athletes to be more active in their communities. ”Are we doing enough?” Carrie asked.
Earlier this week Luca Sbisa Jersey , James, who recently left the Cleveland Cavaliers and signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, opened the I Promise School, a year-round facility designed for at-risk kids and their families, in his hometown. The school is funded by a partnership between Akron City Schools and the LeBron James Family foundation. Along with a curriculum that caters to a student’s needs Andrew Shaw Jersey , the school has a food pantry and provides transportation and other educational resources to some of the city’s most needy residents. It currently serves only third- and fourth-grade students, but the school plans expand to grades 1-8 by 2020.
Carrie, who signed with the Browns as a free agent in March after four seasons with Oakland, said James’ efforts lead him to want to do more. Two years ago, the 28-year-old launched his own youth foundation.
”I’m talking to my team now Jonathan Huberdeau Jersey ,” he said. ”OK, LeBron’s doing this, we’re not on his level, but the level that we’re on, what can we do to achieve and make a huge difference within the community out here?”
Carrie said some of his teammates have discussed ways in which they can help others.
Carrie also has Ohio connections. The California native played at Ohio University before being drafted by the Raiders in 2014.
Although James is leaving after his second stint with the Cavaliers Nazem Kadri Jersey , Carrie believes his work in Ohio remains.
”LeBron has done an amazing job here in the state of Ohio, period,” Carrie said. ”It sets precedents for what we should do as athletes on how we are a role model to a lot of kids that we may not know, that we may not see but that know us.”

Every NHL team is consistently pushing for success and that is something that should always be thought about. In the process, it is important to note that sometimes team rush players through their serious injuries to help with their success. This is such a risky gamble because injuries need to be taken very seriously and can ruin their superstar鈥檚 careers if not treated with the proper care. The NHL is such a competitive and dangerous league that players need to be in their best state to be聽able to compete in it. Rushing a player is such a monumental mistake but teams often do this for the short term benefit of their squad.
With all of this said Authentic Artturi Lehkonen Jersey ,look at fifteen players who were rushed by their teams to come back. In doing this, these players have suffered through even worse injuries and some never played another NHL game again. There comes a point in these examples where it seems that these teams care more about the success of the team than the actual well being of their players. This is something that the NHL needs to be more aware of and that will be presented through these specific examples.
Nonetheless, here are the unfortunate fifteen times the NHL clearly didn't care for the health of their players. Cheap New York Jets Jerseys
San Jose coach Peter DeBoer said Tuesday that the Sharks have had to work for everything they have accomplished this season. After an inconsistent start Morgan Rielly Jersey , the club reached 100 points for the first time since 2014.
However, through three playoff games, they have barely broken a sweat.
The Sharks look to complete a four-game sweep of the Anaheim Ducks in their first-round Western Conference series on Wednesday night at SAP Center in San Jose.
After taking the first two games in Southern California, San Jose scored four power-play goals and rolled to an 8-1 rout in Game 3 on Monday night at the Shark Tank.
San Jose has outscored Anaheim, 14-3, and is 6 for 17 with the man advantage in the series.
“One night it’s (Logan) Couture’s line. One night it’s (Joe) Pavelski’s line. One night it’s somebody else,” DeBoer said. “I think our group has played well the entire three games, just different lines have stuck pucks in the net at different times.”
Couture and Pavelski are tied for the team lead with five points apiece Ryan O'Reilly Jersey , while Evander Kane has a club-best three goals. Seven Sharks each have a minimum of three points in the series.
“You want to finish it at home in front of your fans, especially against a rival,” Couture said. “We know it’s going to be loud. We know they’re going to be energized.”
With the benefit of all four lines rolling, Martin Jones has been nearly flawless in net. The 28-year-old set a franchise postseason record for most saves in a regulation contest with 45 in Game 3 and has stopped 98 of 101 shots in the series.
“It’s not just the saves, it’s the timing of the saves,” DeBoer explained. “When you make saves at key times or the right times of the game, you just have that confidence as a group to try and make some more plays or take a chance here or there.”
Jones is one playoff win short of becoming the second player in team history with 20 victories, joining Evgeni Nabokov (40 postseason wins between 2000 and 2010.)
With their backs to the wall Nate Thompson Jersey , the Ducks would appear to have no option but to come out flying in Game 4. Or do they?
“We have to take a singular approach, and focus on the first shift, first period,” coach Randy Carlyle said Tuesday.
A key to staying focused would be forgetting how Anaheim has gotten to this point — especially after a game in which it set a club record for most goals allowed in a playoff game.
“You can’t think about that game anymore,” defenseman Hampus Lindholm told the Ducks’ official website. “That’s in the past now. We just have to go out there for the fourth game. It’s going to be a do-or-die game for us. We’re going to compete as hard as we can.”
Lindholm is one of three goal-scorers in the series, along with Rickard Rakell and Jakob Silfverberg. Ryan Getzlaf, Anaheim’s all-time playoff scoring leader with 120 points, has just two assists.
“We’ve got to create more chances and score more goals. And tighten up defensively Tyler Seguin Jersey ,” defenseman Francois Beauchemin told the Los Angeles Times.
John Gibson has a 4.17 goals-against average and .882 save percentage in the series. While it’s almost a certainty that he’ll get the nod once more, backup Ryan Miller is 7-2-1 with a tie and a 1.78 GAA and .948 save percentage in his career in San Jose.
Game 5, if necessary, is set for Friday night in Anaheim.
Defensive tackle Maurice Hurst was considered a possible first-round pick before an irregular heartbeat was detected during a medical exam at the NFL Scouting Combine and questions about whether he’ll be able to have a long career in the NFL helped push him to the Raiders in the fifth round.
While he might not like where he wound up being drafted, Hurst likes the landing spot. He said that watched a lot of film of Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins while at Michigan and is excited to have a chance at filling a similar three-technique role with defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, who previously held the same job in Cincinnati.
“It definitely gets me amped up,” Hurst said, via NBC Sports Bay Area. “The Bengals Nicklas Backstrom Jersey , their best player was their three technique. That’s the focal point of their defense, and that’s what coach Guenther is used to getting, and what he has got his whole time in the NFL [with Atkins]. He drafted Geno, and it says something for him drafting me and P.J. [Hall, a second-round pick this year]. I think he expects a lot from us and expects us to fill that role he had with the Bengals.”
Expecting Atkins-esque production from any rookie would be a mistake, but immediate positive impact of any kind from Hurst would be a good development for both the Oakland defense and Hurst’s chances of putting those health concerns behind him for good.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was suspended Tuesday without pay for the first two games of the regular season for violating the NFL's conduct and substance-abuse policy.
The NFL said Foster will also be fined for violations from a weapons offense and misdemeanor drug charge that were resolved earlier this offseason.
Foster will miss San Francisco's games against Minnesota and Detroit before being allowed to return on Sept. 17 before the Niners play Kansas City.
"I accept the League's decision and am sorry that my mistakes have hurt my team Marc-Andre Fleury Jersey ," Foster said in a statement. "I have a responsibility to the 49ers, our fans and our community, and I am committed to learning from this situation and making better choices in the future. The support I have received over the last five months has been humbling, and I do not take it for granted."
Foster was charged in January in Alabama with second-degree marijuana possession. That charge was eventually dismissed after he completed a first-time offender diversion course.
Foster then faced more serious charges for an incident in California in February. He was initially charged in April with felonies for domestic violence Justin Abdelkader Jersey , making criminal threats and weapons possession after being accused of beating up his ex-girlfriend.
A judge ruled there was no probable cause on the first two charges after the ex-girlfriend recanted the allegations and the judge found no other evidence to support the charges. The weapons charge was reduced to a misdemeanor and Foster pleaded no-contest to that in June.
He was sentenced to two years' probation, 232 hours of community service, and $235 in fines. He will not be allowed to own guns while he's on probation.
The 49ers initially told Foster to stay away from the offseason program after the felony charges were filed in the domestic violence case before welcoming him back after that was resolved in May.
"Our organization understands and supports the League's decision," general manager John Lynch said. "Although we are disappointed that Reuben will not be with our team for the first two games of the season Devin Shore Jersey , we will continue to work with him on making better decisions and eliminating unnecessary distractions. We are encouraged to see Reuben take responsibility for his mistakes, and hopeful that he has learned from them as well."
The 49ers drafted Foster 31st overall last year after questions about his health and character caused him to drop from being a possible top 10 pick.
Foster delivered on the field, ranking second on the team with 72 tackles in 10 games as a rookie and looking like a key part of San Francisco's defensive future.
In listing the options available to Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell, I forgot to include one possibility that may not be as remote as many would believe.
Bell could choose to sign the one-year franchise tender and to show up for training camp and the preseason.
That could be the deeper message in his vow to have his best season yet. Beyond it being an indication that he won’t be skipping regular-season games Ryan O'Reilly Jersey , Bell could be hinting that he’ll do everything in his power to be ready to hit the ground sprinting in 2018. Given his fairly slow start to 2017, surely sparked by the fact that he first showed up six days before the first Sunday of the season, Bell’s best season ever could be more likely to be achieved if he’s there for training camp and the preseason.
That’s not a report that he’ll be there or even a prediction that it will happen. It’s just something to watch as training camp opens — and it’s one way that Bell could get the fans behind him at the outset of what likely will be his last season in Pittsburgh.
