18 win total Youth Kenny Moore Jersey , odds of Luck and Hilton as yardage leaders We all knew that the Indianapolis Colts weren’t going to get much love on expected win totals, with or without Andrew Luck under center. But, Luck is back and will play. Now, the focus appears to largely be on the questions surrounding the team’s defense, and probably concerns over Luck’s durability. There are literally an endless amount of bets with the casual gambler’s most enjoyable plays coming on Super Bowl prop bets. However, if casual isn’t exactly how you’d describe your affinity for making wagers, then there is quite a list you’ll want to get a look at.There’s the odds of whether Andrew Luck will start Week 1 or not, the chances of Colts’ rookies Jordan Wilkins, Nyheim Hines and Darius Leonard will land rookie of the year honors on their respective sides of the ball, all the way down to if Luck’s backup, Jacoby Brissett, will lead the league in passing yards. You even have the ability to wager on everything from “Will any game end in a tie?” to “Will any players be suspended for kneeling during the National Anthem? Yes, more of that in my life, please! These are just some of the bets available at mybookie.ag, but there are a few more that I think are particularly interesting for Colts fans if they’re being objective about their expectations at this point in the rebuild.Colts win total | over/under 7.5 winsvia mybookie.agI have to believe this is fairly simple to gauge whether or not the Colts will at least be a .500 team in 2018. Quite honestly, I think Luck makes this roster an instant 8-win team regardless of the defense, his playmakers or any coaching inefficiencies. Just look at the last six years, with a intelligent division of the first three years of Luck’s career versus the last three. Luck plays 48 of 48 games, has no known physical limitations and the team wins 33 of those games.Over the last three seasons, Luck has played in 22 of 48 games and the team wins 20. This doesn’t seem nearly as difficult to project the Colts at least to be a .500 team. On the other hand, the division has gotten better, the Colts will play 4 of 2017’s top 15 overall defenses and, of course, there is always the unknowns when it comes to injuries.Odds Andrew Luck will lead NFL in passing yards: 20/1via mybookie.agAs much as we believe Luck should challenge for the league lead in passing yards, he’s never done it even when he’s been fully healthy. He has led the league in touchdown passes (2014) once, but a lot will have to go right for Luck to surpass those annually at the top of the yardage leaders.Luck’s best season in this respect, was that same 2014 season in which he passed for 4,761 yards, landing him at third in the league. That total would have placed him fifth in 2012 http://www.coltsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-quenton-nelson-jersey , third in 2013, fourth in 2015 and fourth in 2016. Had he put up a season like in 2014 last season, though, he would have indeed been tops in the league, by nearly 200 yards even.Mybookie doesn’t necessarily feel like the smart money is on Luck right now — which makes sense with all things considered — although his odds have risen from 25/1 just since camp got under way. These odds would earn you a $2,000 return on a $100 bet plus your money back. Betting is dangerous, but there’s money to be made on the Colts this year if you’re a degenerate. Consider it a term of endearment. We can point to the Colts theoretically having a much better offensive line this year, which we expect to accompany a more effective running game and some very interesting playmakers at receiver. But, we don’t know much of anything right now and this one might be a little riskier in my eyes, albeit, very possible just the same.Odds T.Y. Hilton will lead NFL in receiving yards: 16/1via mybookie.agHe’s done it once, he can do it again. At least that would be my mindset if I were Hilton. Although mybookie is giving Hilton some reasonable odds to have a shot at it this year, it would likely deserve the best season of his career in order to attain it if recent years are any indication.Over the past 5 seasons, the average league-leader in receiving yards finished with 1,639 yards. Hilton’s best season was in 2016 when he accrued 1,448 yards which did lead the league, however, there have been 12 individual seasons in that time span with more than 1,448 yards. In short, Hilton would probably need to average 20 yards per reception while maintaining his average of 81 receptions throughout the season. This, in order to reach the average league-leader’s total over that five-year span. On the other hand, he could also just catch 100 balls and equal his average from 2017 (16.9 YPR) — that would be cool too.I don’t think I would say that if Luck leads the league in passing yards that Hilton will necessarily follow with league-leading output. However, it makes more sense to me that if Hilton does end up leading the league in receiving yards, it’s quite likely that Luck leads the NFL in passing yards as well.Odds Colts will win AFC South: 3.8/1via mybookie.agHere’s the one that will likely not be decided until the final few weeks of the season. If everything is equal, and there aren’t year-changing injuries on any AFC South squad, I think it’s fair to say each team has a legitimate shot to come out on top. With that said, I get why the Colts aren’t picked to win the division. The Jacksonville Jaguars have their defense that they really showcased last season. Marcus Mariota is believed to have a ton of potential and the Tennessee Titans’ are an improving roster. The Houston Texans are a scary defense when all of the pieces are in place and they’ve got massive expectations for Deshaun Watson. But, the Colts have the best quarterback in the division — hands down — and an offensive line that is worlds better on paper than anything they’ve put out on the field in years. Each team has their obvious weaknesses, though Darius Leonard Jersey , as well. The Colts and Titans have a new coaching staff, the Jaguars have Blake Bortles and the Texans have been one of the most banged up teams (like the Colts) over the past several seasons. How you can expect the Colts to bring up the caboose with Luck on the field is beyond me. As I mentioned before, though, I get picking one of the other teams to win the division, but not for the Colts to end up being the doormat yet again. One thing is for sure, the division is in a much better place, competitively, than it’s been in several years. For starters, with each of the divisional teams, the coaching looks to be in a better place. The quarterbacks, collectively, are a better group and have quality building blocks in place to keep the division a challenging one for the foreseeable future.More Colts 2018 season bets:Will the Indianapolis Colts make the playoffs?Yes: 13/4 | No: 11/50o/u 7.5 Regular Season WinsOdds to win:Super Bowl: 55/1AFC Championship: 25/1Offensive Rookie of the Year:Nyheim Hines: 55/1Jordan Wilkins: 80/1Defensive Rookie of the Year:Darius Leonard: 28/1Will Andrew Luck start Week 1 for the Colts?Yes: 1/3 | No: 2/1Jacoby Brissett to lead the NFL in Passing Yards: 80/1Marlon Mack to lead the NFL in Rushing Yards: 50/1TY Hilton – 1050.5 Receiving Yards (O/-140 | U/+110)TY Hilton – 6.5 Touchdowns (O/U both at -115)How many games will it take Adam Vinatieri to break the NFL career points record? o/u 8.5 GamesColts News: Analytics playing a bigger role under Frank Reich How analytics are changing the Colts one decision at a time – The AthleticGeorge Li and John Park, the Colts’ two football data analysts, provide the information, and the coaching staff and front office do what they want with it.Colts Notebook: Marlon Mack Returns To Practice | WFNI ESPN 107.5 / 1070 The Fan | Indy's SportsCenterOn Wednesday, the Colts were indoors for their first practice in Week Four. The rookie for the San Francisco 49ers is slated to start in his debut on Sunday in Minnesota at a relatively new position of middle linebacker with all the responsibilities that come with calling the defensive signals."I'm very excited http://www.authenticsminnesotavikings.com/cheap-xavier-rhodes-jersey , being this will be my first start," Warner said. "I'm just trying to make sure I'm as prepared as possible heading into that game on Sunday. I'm just going to do what I do, which is ball out and make plays and be the leader out there as the Mike."The Niners drafted Warner in the third round out of BYU in part because of his ability to guard tight ends, running backs and even slot receivers in the passing game as an outside linebacker. But Warner has spent most of his time on the inside for the 49ers and is filling the void created by the two-game suspension that has sidelined Reuben Foster. Now instead of being counted on to show off his coverage skills in space, Warner will need to take on much bigger offensive linemen in the run game for San Francisco."I feel like it's kind of my natural position, you could say http://www.authenticsminnesotavikings.com/cheap-matt-wile-jersey ," Warner said. "Obviously, I didn't do a lot of that in college. But just being out there, I feel like if I wasn't as natural, I probably wouldn't be doing as well as I am — and being in the position I'm in."Playing middle linebacker comes with lots of responsibility as Warner will be the man relaying the defensive calls from coordinator Robert Saleh to the rest of the defense. It's a task he welcomes and that his coaches feel he is more than prepared to handle."He was one of, if not the smartest interviews I've ever had personally at the combine for a linebacker," Saleh said. "He's picked it up well. He's got great command of it. He's got a long way to go. I don't want to crown him quite yet White Tom Compton Jersey , but he's a rookie, he's going to have his peaks and valleys, but we have great confidence in him."Warner said he never doubted he was physical enough to play in the box and said most of the critics who said he couldn't just hadn't seen him do it. Saleh credited San Francisco's scouts for finding plays from Senior Bowl week and other games that showed that Warner was willing to take on the contact that he will have to deal with in the middle of the NFL defense.Saleh said that showed up again in the preseason and he has no questions about Warner's physicality and ability to tackle. The bigger challenge this week might come in dealing with Minnesota's offense that relies heavily on run-pass options that make life difficult on linebackers and has star running back Dalvin Cook healthy again after last year's season-ending knee injury.Warner said he has studied film of Cook from last year and Eagles games from last year to try to get a sense of what kind of offense new coordinator John DeFilippo runs. He particularly watched how Philadelphia played against Atlanta and the Chargers last season since those teams run a similar defensive scheme to San Francisco's.Dealing with the RPOs that the Niners are anticipating will be key to their success."It puts stress on the defense as a whole if you're not prepared for it," Warner said. "So that's why we're kind of making some adjustments to make sure we're not getting hit in certain areas where we're not protected."NOTES: LB Malcolm Smith (hamstring) is doubtful. ... LB Dekoda Watson injured his hamstring in practice and will miss the game. ... T Erik Magnuson (hamstring) is also out Sunday.Minnesota Vikings sign wide receiver Aldrick Robinson Some moves were put into place over at Minnesota Vikings headquarters early Monday afternoon that resulted in the official signing and a hopeful signing of two new players, along with the departure of one. The Vikings have signed former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Aldrick Robinson and have decided to waive kicker Daniel Carlson. Minnesota hopes to sign former Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey, but our very own Daily Norseman writer Ted Glover has you covered with that part of the story here. Now about Robinson:Some may consider Robinson to be a journeyman. He’s participated in 70 games with four different teams over the past seven seasons. The 5-foot-10 White Trae Waynes Jersey , 187-pound wideout spent three years with the Washington Redskins, where Kirk Cousins was throwing the rock around. He was traded to Baltimore where he didn’t play any. He then spent a full season with both the Atlanta Falcons and the 49ers. In the 70 games that the 29-year-old has played in, Robinson has recorded 69 receptions off of 145 targets for 1,191 yards and nine touchdowns. Last season he played in 16 games and was targeted 48 times and only caught 19 passes, but managed almost 14 yards a carry. The move came after a lackluster performance by Laquon Treadwell who missed a few key passes that were thrown to him in Sunday’s game against the Packers. It will be interesting to see how Robinson will fit in with the already lethal Minnesota offense.

Michael Bennett http://www.coltsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-ryan-kelly-jersey , DT Haloti Ngata, TE Dallas Goedert, WR Mike Wallace, LB Corey Nelson, P Cameron Johnston, rookies CB Avonte Maddox, TE Dallas Goedert, DE Josh Sweat.Key losses: RB LeGarrette Blount Joe Haeg Jersey , TE Trey Burton, TE Brent Celek, DT Beau Allen, DE Vinny Curry, CB Patrick Robinson, WR Torrey Smith, offensive coordinator Frank Reich, quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo.Strengths: Plenty of depth at QB with Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles backing up Carson Wentz. Before he tore ACL Authentic J'Marcus Webb Jersey , Wentz had MVP-caliber season. Offensive line could be best in NFL with nine-time Pro Bowl LT Jason Peters returning from ACL injury to join pair of All-Pros — C Jason Kelce and RT Lane Johnson — and Pro Bowl RG Brandon Brooks. Defense was mostly excellent except when it faced Tom Brady.Weaknesses: Defense lacks depth at linebacker and is counting heavily on Jordan Hicks returning from his second Achilles tendon injury. Offensive line is inexperienced beyond starting five and backup T Halapoulivaati Vaitai. Johnston enters his first season.Fantasy Player To Watch: TE Zach Ertz. First-time Pro Bowl pick who caught go-ahead TD pass in Super Bowl, Ertz had 74 catches for 824 yards and eight TDs. He's Wentz's go-to guy and numbers could get better with addition of Goedert helping cause matchup problems for defenses inside red zone.Vegas Says: Super Bowl 9-1. Over/under wins 10.5.Expectations: Eagles enter season trying to become only ninth team to repeat as Super Bowl champs and first since New England following 2004 season. It won't be easy. Division opponents got better, and conference is tougher. But team is young, talented and motivated, especially Wentz because he watched Super Bowl victory from sideline. If key players stay healthy, they could make another deep run.2018 Week 4: Texans vs. Colts 2nd Half Open Thread — Colts trail 21-10 The Colts offense has become an absolute disaster at this point. They are unable to get anything going, they are relying entirely on the relationship between Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton to have any chance, and self-inflicted wounds have put the team in a horrible position heading into the half. A bad snap from Ryan Kelly recovered for a touchdown and a strip sack turnover deep in their own territory have allowed 14 of Houston’s 21 points. The defense simply will be unable to win football games alone. Chris Ballard and Frank Reich better figure things out quickly or the wheels will fall off on the hope for 2018.Pester Deshaun WatsonOn Houston’s first drive Youth Chester Rogers Jersey , pressure from Denico Autry and Darius Leonard impacted Watson’s efforts to get the ball out. Autry came up to pick up his first sack in Indianapolis after falling into zone coverage. Leonard came around the end and picked up a sack that was incorrectly called on the field. Rather than use a challenge, Frank Reich allowed the incomplete pass to stand and forced the Texans offense to face a 3rd and 20. As the half was approaching its end we saw a coverage sack from Anthony Walker and a devastating edge rush from Jabaal Sheard and Kemoko Turay. These were key plays that gave the offense a chance to cut into the Texans first half lead and keep the Colts within reach before the half.Red Zone EfficiencyThis has gone the opposite direction. The Colts need to find a way to actually get to the red zone before they can worry about efficiency. Right now Indianapolis is seeing its offensive line struggle with the Houston front. The receivers are dropping passes and leaving Andrew Luck with only T.Y. Hilton as an option to get the ball moving. Frank Reich is going to need to come up with something during the half if the Colts are going to get an important early season win.Andrew Luck’s Decision-Making and AccuracyThere have been a couple of passes that were slightly inaccurate today but from an arm strength perspective, Luck has really looked good. He hasn’t had a lot of help from his receivers who have allowed the ball to bounce off of their hands throughout much of the game but Frank Reich will need to find ways to get the ball out fast or get the ground game going if Luck is going to be able to do real damage.Offensive BalanceFrankly, there isn’t any. The Colts have failed to create any threat of a running game and are having to rely entirely on Andrew Luck. This has allowed the Texans to pin their ears back to generate pressure. It is unlikely that life will get any easier in the pocket if Reich can’t manufacture a way to move the ball on the ground.Slow Down the Texans Pass RushA bad snap resulting in a defensive touchdown and a sack allowed by Le’Raven Clark for Jadeveon Clowney. Two sacks for J.J. Watt are starting to give him confidence against Denzelle Good. No offensive balance, no offensive rhythm, backup offensive linemen? Recipe for disaster in the second half if there aren’t some major changes.

We’re two games in and it is again time to take a look at the snap counts to see what we might be able to learn. The Colts are really trying to figure out their final depth chart as the preseason hits the midpoint http://www.authenticsindianapoliscolts.com/cheap-adam-vinatieri-jersey , and there are a few interesting things of note in the details here. Let’s jump in:Offense#PlayerPositionOffensive SnapsPercentDefensive SnapsPercentSpecial Teams SnapsPercent#PlayerPositionOffensive SnapsPercentDefensive SnapsPercentSpecial Teams SnapsPercentNotesJacoby Brissett saw a lot more time this week than last, going from 16 snaps in week one to 44. That’s a lot of film out there for any teams who might be interested in making a trade. Not sure the Colts are selling, but if they want to drive up the price, giving Brissett more time on the field makes sense. The competition at wide receiver is still raging. The absence of several guys with injury meant more snaps for some of the depth players. Notably, Reece Fountain and Steve Ishmael had fewer snaps than the rest of the group.Injuries have kept the offensive line playing a heavy number of snaps. They need the work to build some cohesion, but can’t risk any of these guys getting hurt. Playing just 5 snaps White J'Marcus Webb Jersey , it is tough to imagine running back Josh Ferguson making this roster.Defense#PlayerPositionOffensive SnapsPercentDefensive SnapsPercentSpecial Teams SnapsPercent#PlayerPositionOffensive SnapsPercentDefensive SnapsPercentSpecial Teams SnapsPercentNotesHassan Ridgeway saw an increase in snaps this week, perhaps to see if he could offer an encore performance of his week one effort. He rose to the occasion nicely and could see his role increase if he keeps it up.John Simon saw just 9 snaps last week and 29 this week. They had him on the field late in the game, which was somewhat perplexing. He has been a playmaker so far this offseason, but they are clearly trying to figure out how best to use him.Antonio Morrison had just 11 snaps in this game. Whatever Chris Ballard says about him, he is looking less and less like a guy who can make this team.Signed just two days prior, S Robenson Therezie was still given a chance to play and was in on 11 snaps.Clayton Geathers was given 20 snaps Youth Malik Hooker Jersey , offering solid contribution. He came out midway through a drive, which indicates the team had him on a pitch count as he comes back from his minor offseason knee surgery.Special Teams#First NameLast NamePosition#First NameLast NamePosition The Jets could be without two of their top playmakers on offense and defense for a while.Safety Marcus Maye has a broken right thumb that could sideline him for a few weeks, and leading wide receiver Quincy Enunwa has a sprained right ankle.Maye was injured in the third quarter of New York's 42-34 win over Indianapolis on Sunday. He was seen wearing a cast on his right hand after the game.Coach Todd Bowles had no immediate update on Maye's status during a conference call Monday. Terrence Brooks filled in for Maye opposite Jamal Adams against the Colts. The Jets also have Doug Middleton at the safety spot.Rontez Miles is on the physically unable to perform list and eligible to begin practicing, but Bowles was not sure if the veteran safety would do so this week.Maye's injury is the latest to a Jets secondary that is already without cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson (quadriceps) and Buster Skrine (concussion). Maye had been sidelined the first three games of the regular season and most of the preseason while recovering from ankle and foot ailments. The Jets also have some concerns at the wide receiver position with Enunwa and Terrelle Pryor (groin) leaving the game against the Colts with injuries. The New York Daily News reported Monday that Enunwa has a high ankle sprain, which would mean he would be out a few weeks.Enunwa has established himself early as Sam Darnold's favorite target, leading the Jets with 22 receptions and 287 yards receiving with one touchdown. The veteran receiver had just one catch for 9 yards — and was injured on the play in the second quarter when he had the ball knocked out of his hands by Darius Leonard. Al-Quadin Muhammad recovered for the Colts Youth T.Y. Hilton Jersey , and Enunwa limped off the field in noticeable pain.Enunwa was seen leaving the stadium wearing a walking boot on his right foot after the game.Bowles had no immediate update on the status of Pryor, who tweaked his groin against the Colts. Pryor had five catches for 57 yards, including a go-ahead 7-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Even days later http://www.saintsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-michael-thomas-jersey , since he was a rookie in 2012.The Browns stopped their 17-game losing streak by tying the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Gordon still isn't sure how he feels about it."Conflicted," he said.So was Gordon's game. And confusing. He wasn't supposed to start as punishment for missing training camp, but Gordon was on the field for the first offensive play because of a "miscommunication," according to coach Hue Jackson. The most dynamic player on Cleveland's roster, the former Pro Bowler figured to be a major element in the game plan, yet was only targeted three times by quarterback Tyrod Taylor.Gordon did make a leaping touchdown catch in the fourth quarter to tie it 21-all in the fourth quarter, but Taylor missed a chance to connect with the receiver late in regulation — a blown opportunity on a wet field that could have given the Browns their first victory since 2016.It was all so strange, especially the Browns not winning despite forcing six turnovers.Gordon, who has made personal decisions he regrets, can only think about what might have been."Definitely wish some things could just be altered in the course of the game," Gordon said Wednesday as the Browns ramped up preparation for Sunday's game in New Orleans. "But definitely can't look back anymore."Gordon's opener began unexpectedly and stayed that way.Last week, Jackson was adamant that Gordon would not be in the starting lineup against Pittsburgh after he missed more than three weeks of camp to address his personal health during his public battle with drugs and alcohol. Jackson said he was putting his foot down, and Gordon would not get any preferential treatment. But after the Browns forced a Pittsburgh punt and began a drive at their 36, Gordon was lined up to the far left before Taylor dropped back to pass before scrambling for a 6-yard gain.Gordon's appearance on the field led to confusion about whether Jackson had changed his mind or if coordinator Todd Haley was sending a message to his boss.Following the game, Jackson said he wasn't aware that Gordon was in until it was too late Larry Warford Jersey , adding another layer of puzzlement to the situation. On Monday, Jackson said starting Gordon was "a mistake" but refused to assign blame and insisted the team had "worked through it. It's done with. We move on."Gordon said he did what he was told and was shocked to start."Yeah," he said. "I was definitely surprised."Just as baffling was that Gordon did not play the rest of the first series or the entire second series — perhaps a delayed penalty. And although Jackson talked about keeping Gordon on a "pitch count" because he hadn't played in any of the four preseason games and was just coming off a hamstring issue, he ended up playing 69 snaps, second only to Jarvis Landry (81) among Cleveland's receivers.Gordon said the coaching staff decided at halftime to play him more than was originally planned. The Browns tried to exploit the Steelers' secondary by using Gordon's speed to stretch the field and create one-on-one matchups. The 27-year-old, who had only played in 10 games since 2014 because of substance-abuse suspensions, said the extra workload was needed."Physically I felt great," he said. "It was good to get that experience and that feeling underneath me, especially an overtime game, the weather and everything. The amount of snaps and reps, it's good for my body to feel that. I feel great now, I felt great during the game. It was just good to see that my motor was at a decent point at that late in the game."Cleveland's entire offense misfired in the opener, but Gordon believes the unit can take a large leap forward in Week 2."We have to," he said. "I think in the NFL, that's the biggest jump for most teams — after that first week. And for us Authentic Ted Ginn Jr Jersey , we've got to take off in a big way."NOTES: Saints star quarterback Drew Brees said Browns rookie QB Baker Mayfield "can be a lot better than me. He's got all the tools. He's more athletic, he probably can run around better, he's got a stronger arm." ... Mayfield shaved off a beard he had been growing since training camp. ... Starting DE Emmanuel Ogbah (ankle) missed practice and is unlikely to play Sunday against the Saints. LB Christian Kirksey was limited by shoulder and ankle issues but should be OK, Jackson said. How important is the tight end position to the Saints? Last month, the Saints made a decision to remove Coby Fleener from their roster as a post-June 1 cut. The move happened after two disappointing seasons in the Big Easy, leaving much to be desired at the tight end position. During his tenure in New Orleans, Fleener produced 72 receptions for 926 yards and 5 touchdowns. Overall, Fleener’s production has been rather consistent over his entire career.Coby Fleener’s Career StatsYearTmGGSTgtRecYdsY/RTDLngR/GY/GCtch%FmbYearTmGGSTgtRecYdsY/RTDLngR/GY/GCtch%FmbCoby Fleener’s Career StatsGaren ArmbrusterIt was rumored that Fleener was adjusting to a learning curve for the Saints offense, so Saints fans believed that the Stanford product was set to explode into his role as the Saints starting tight end. Unfortunately, this was not the case. In 2018, Fleener suffered the fifth documented concussion of his career, which ultimately placed him on the injured reserve list for the remainder of the season. On May 7th, the Saints released Coby Fleener, stating he was unable to pass a physical.Since the decision to cut Fleener, the Saints signed former tight end Benjamin Watson Youth Alex Okafor Jersey , who will most likely split duties with current Saints tight end Josh Hill. With the loss of a once promising Fleener, will the Saints have enough fire power at the position to be successful, or do they even need the position to be successful at all? If the offense follows the same trend it has over the last few years, then the Saints will have no problems moving forward.Saints Offensive Production Per Position Group (2013-2017)Garen ArmbrusterThis chart shows the amount of touches (rush) and targets (pass) each position group has had year by year. With Jimmy Graham no longer on the roster after 2014, production at the tight end position has steadily and strongly decreased; meanwhile, production at wide receiver and running back have seen increases over time. The most important thing in this chart is that the Saints offensive yards per game on average has increased over the 2013-2017 seasons.During the 2013-2017 seasons, the Saints ranked as high as the number one offense in the league and no lower than fourth. The lack of involvement at the tight end position has yet to hurt the Saints, and it shows no signs of slowing down with emerging offensive players on the team such as Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram, and Michael Thomas. In the end, we have seen some incredible play at tight end over Sean Payton’s tenure as head coach of the Saints. Payton, with his elite offensive mind, continues to show that any position can be just as important as another within his system. The future is bright in NOLA, and things are just heating up.

According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis Youth Customized Denver Broncos Jerseys , the Broncos have waived defensive lineman DeShawn Williams. The second-year player had a solid camp and preseason but could not crack an already deep Broncos defensive line.Williams is a second year player so he does have Practice Squad eligibility I believe so he is another name to watch in that regard. He has earned praise from coaches and onlookers all summer but the Broncos just didn’t have a spot on the roster for him. You have the likes of Derek Wolfe, Adam Gotsis, Shelby Harris, DeMarcus Walker, and Clinton McDonald ahead of him. He needed an injury to ever have a solid chance and that never happened. Williams was down right dominant at times last night in the preseason finale against the Arizona Cardinals. He was credited with a sack but with clearly a man amongst men out there. Williams like most will have to clear waivers before being able to join the Broncos practice squad. It is possible he is claimed by a team desperate for D-Line depth, but if that does not happen, expect him back with the Broncos in a few days.Broncos vs Bears: The No Bull Preseason Review After a rather poor showing in week 1, Broncos Country was treated to a much more competent showing from the teams’ first and second string units. The showing was very positive and encouraging which hopefully will help some of our more flighty fans back away from the ledge a bit.I thought the team looked much more ready to play against Chicago. It is still quite in fashion to throw shade Vance Joseph’s way, but honestly, he deserves some modicum of credit for the preparation that showed in this game as well as some very sound coaching decisions (QB changes, working younger players with more targets in the passing game, and giving our likely starters and rotational players heaver snap loads).DefenseOverall the defense was ready to play this week. Sure, the 3rd string defense got shredded www.broncosauthorizedshops.com , but let’s be real here: Chicago played a 10 year vet throughout the whole back half of the game. If the 3s were facing an actual 3, they likely would have had a more solid showing.Front 7What the heck happened to Shaquil Barrett? Having Shane Ray taking snaps over him still is just as pathetic as it was last season. Did his play fall off a cliff that we aren’t aware of or is he just getting buried by all the new shiny pass rushers the front office has been picking up?The guys up front this game looked very solid. Really kudos to all the 1st and 2nd team defensive linemen...the Bears consistently got beat up front and weren’t able to open up the kinds of gaps that gashed the Broncos in week 1.Brandon Marshall’s TFL really stood out to me during the Bears 2nd drive. That was the kind of run defense we see regularly from Todd Davis and is what we need to see more out of from the Inside Linebackers for the Broncos.I’m not sure which Linebacker was responsible for the RB out of the backfield on the Bears touchdown, but make no mistake, it was neither Von Miller nor the safety’s responsibility on that play (despite what the “analyst” calling the game said and drew on the screen).DeMarcus Walker showed some really strong interior pass rush in this game and was rewarded with a sack. I’m still encouraged that he’s the guy that is going to bring this pass rush back to its dangerous top-5 level we saw in 2015.SecondaryIsaac Yiadom is playing really friggin hard. He just looks a ton like a rookie who needs seasoning. His PI call was completely avoidable and he had another play where he was in position to break up the pass but was just a second too slow.Hopefully the Broncos don’t head into the season with him as the #3 guy...that I think would be a mistake for his development and for the team.Justin Simmons is the truth people. If he keeps playing the same way he’s been playing in the short action he’s gotten in 2 weeks of play, he’s going to be a guy everyone knows of by the season’s end. His INT was a superb showing of read / react time with great execution of athletic technique to make a play on the ball.Of all the younger corners, no one guy is sticking out to me as an answer and that’s a bad deal for this defense. Having a bunch of guys who you can’t trust to play man means you have to use zone more and more which is something this defense doesn’t excel at. Also we’re one injury away from serious trouble once the regular season starts. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Broncos find some corner help before we hit week one of the regular season.OffenseThere was more competent offensive play in this game than we saw for the majority of the 2017 season. The passing game got rolling, the run game was stout, and the coaches mixed in lot of different personnel and design into the game to keep the defense on its toes.QuarterbacksCase Keenum had a solid showing. We still haven’t seen a TD pass from him, but I feel like their focus with him at the helm has been more focused on working on concepts for the young receivers than it is about going after the end zone. Maybe that’s just me, but don’t get too down on Keenum yet.Chad Kelly was simply amazing. Not only did he look great against the twos, but he looked like a guy that has the potential to be a starting NFL QB. What is important is for him to stay humble and keep working hard at honing his craft just like he says he is. The team believes in him far more than they ever believed in any of the “quarterbacks” that took the field for the Broncos in 2017. I love the types of throws he’s making regularly - lots of heat paired with high accuracy which means only his guy has a real chance to make the catch.Conversely, Paxton Lynch officially shat all over his chance to be a starting QB for the Denver Broncos if not the whole NFL. When faced with a challenge to “look good against third stringers” he instead looked exactly the same as he looked the week before...which is to say like hot, steaming garbage. Also as the resident vocal “No Bull” writer on the site Denver Broncos Womens T-Shirt , please allow me to say this: I don’t buy the nonsense we’re hearing from him and the coaches one iota. There’s lots of hinting that he works hard all the time and has put in the time and effort. That’s nonsense. If he was working that hard, we’d have seen him tear up the Bear’s 3rd string defense like so much wet paper. The guy has great physical tools. Preparation at an NFL level matched with effort would have led to more than we’re seeing this year...heck we saw better football out of Tim friggin Tebow than we are with Lynch. The only name I can really correlate with Lynch is JaMarcus Russell at this point.LineI loved just about everything we saw from the line. Even Max Garcia looked pretty darn solid all game long. The guys up front won over and over which led to a very stout run game that was effective if not spectacular.Jared Veldheer is a frigging beast at right tackle. The guy was shoving defenders around like a boss and looked far better than any right tackle we had outside last season.Garett Bolles still looks like a darn solid player to me. I worry with our offense about the tackles constantly as a weakness on either side can absolutely ruin an NFL offense, but both sides look to be in very good hands for this season.Running BacksRoyce Freeman needs to go ahead and be the starter. He’s got twice the game that Devontae Booker does easily. He’s got power, balance, vision, and great burst. We’ll see how he ends up, but the guy reminds me a heck of a lot of what we saw from Maurice Jones-Drew back in the day.I also really like what I see from Philip Lindsay. He’s got the kind of speed on the field that can be a strong tool in the box for an offensive coordinator. That he’s also showing a ton of fight in special teams makes a really strong case for him to make the team.ReceiversDaesean Hamilton got a lot of targets this week and ended up with not a lot to show for it. I’m not terribly worried about it, but hopefully he shows some better work on the field under the bright lights than what we’ve seen through 2 weeks.Courtland Sutton is absolutely going to be a beast of a player for this team and he looks like a guy that has a real chance to make an impact in his rookie season to my eyes. He’s got that rare pairing of size and speed that make him a terror downfield for defenses to deal with and I don’t even think the team has been working in his jump ball skills during the preseason games just so opposing teams don’t have good film on how good he is at that!Special TeamsMarquette King was robbed from what would have been the best possible coffin corner kick in the NFL by a blind ref. The ball absolutely went out of bounds and sure didn’t look to me like the Bronco defender touched it before it went out of bounds. Final ThoughtsI’m super excited to hear that Will Parks didn’t have serious injury. The Broncos (knock on wood) have been pretty fortunate so far on the injury front...if you look around just at the AFC West, other teams are not nearly as lucky as we are. Next week the team gets some serious work with the ones against the Washington Redskins. As we inch closer and closer to the regular season, I’m getting pretty stoked to see a real game and week 3 of the preseason is the closest thing you will get to that this time of year. Do we need to watch for a veteran QB? Are you guys seeing any of the depth corners stand out as maybe having the goods? What great play did you see that I didn’t mention?Hit me up in the comments with your thoughts!

For many fantasy football players, average draft position, or ADP, give a good barometer of when certain players may be picked — a useful planning tool for draft day.But ADP should be treated as a loose, not rigid, guide to what to fully expect. Every draft is different and ADP doesn't always fully reflect a player's true value, as many drafters in the mainstream are not as fully informed as more savvy players. Here are some players who are being overvalued or undervalued based on their current ADP as compiled by FantasyPros in point-per-reception leagues.OVERDRAFTEDJerick McKinnon, RB, San Francisco (25th overall): There are very high expectations for McKinnon in a 49ers offense that is stirring a lot of buzz. While he is versatile and fast, McKinnon may not be built for heavy featured-back duty at 5-9 http://www.neworleanssaintsteamonline.com/marcus-williams-jersey , 205. He already has a knee injury that will cost him the rest of the preseason, and when Matt Breida returns from a shoulder injury, he may cut into McKinnon's workload, too. Picking McKinnon early in the third round is not advised, even if you totally miss out on acquiring him.Rex Burkhead, RB, New England (71): Experienced fantasy players know you can never fully trust a New England running back. Word recently came out that Burkhead is trying to play through a minor tear in his knee. Health and workload concerns lead to regular concerns and no upside, so avoid Burkhead this season.Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver (41): The widespread assumption is that Case Keenum is going to revive the Denver passing game and that Thomas' numbers will rebound accordingly. But Keenum must prove he is no one-year wonder who may revert to looking like a journeyman after leaving Minnesota. The Broncos may also be concerned that Thomas' best days are behind him, as they drafted Courtland Sutton as their possible next big playmaker.Brandin Cooks, WR, Los Angeles Rams (43): He was a minor disappointment last season in New England, as Cooks only caught 65 balls. Now he is with the Rams, where Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods are already established WR targets, plus Todd Gurley gets a lot of looks, as well. Cooks will still be relevant, but could also be very inconsistent and will be too frustrating for a guy with a fourth-round price tag.Jordan Reed, TE, Washington (87): Fantasy players who still get lured in by Reed should simply stop chasing his 2015 season and the remaining shreds of it from 2016. Reed played in only six games last season, and has missed 16 games over the past three years. That's a full NFL season, of course. He is much too risky to be the ninth tight end off the board.Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans (63): His ADP is based more on reputation than recent trends that may continue going forward. Last season, the Saints morphed into a team with outstanding RB play and a good defense. Brees no longer had to constantly fling the ball all over the yard as in the past, and look for the same approach in 2018. You're not going to see 4,800 yards or 31-plus TDs again.UNDERDRAFTEDTarik Cohen, RB Womens Sheldon Rankins Jersey , Chicago (82): He is going to be one of the true breakout performers of the 2018 season in PPR formats. New head coach Matt Nagy is going to unleash the explosive all-around talent of Cohen in an improving Bears offense. Cohen is a fine value selection who will truly emerge as an upside performer this year.Peyton Barber, RB, Tampa Bay (134): Obviously, most fantasy owners do not buy into Barber as the team's current starter and expect rookie Ronald Jones to quickly emerge and soar past him. But Barber could hold onto the job for a while, as Jones is having trouble adjusting to the pro game. Barber can be a good flex player for an extensive stretch to open the season.Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets (95): Last year, Anderson averaged nearly 15 yards a catch and scored seven times, despite the Jets dealing with QB issues. This season, the quarterback position should have more stability, so you should expect Anderson to continue his emergence as an exciting playmaker. He'll go over 1,000 yards this time.Calvin Ridley, WR, Atlanta (123): There should be more optimism surrounding what may be the best WR in this year's rookie class. Ridley is going to be an electric complement to Julio Jones; he's the No. 2 WR the Falcons have been seeking. If you nab Ridley in the double-digit rounds, you are really going to enjoy the returns when he has some impressive outings this year.Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Arizona (226): He is going near the end of drafts, but Seals-Jones could vie for top 10 fantasy tight end status this season. He is a big, fluid target who will become a prime threat for Arizona near the goal line. RSJ flashed some brief promise last season and should become a quality fantasy starter in his second pro season.Philip Rivers, QB, Los Angeles Chargers (108): He is the 15th QB off the board on average, and never seems to get the fantasy respect he deserves. Rivers was the eighth most productive QB in fantasy last season, and has been a top 10 QB in five of the past six seasons. If you wait on a QB, as is often recommended, you can get Rivers in the double-digit rounds and you'll strut, not walk, away from your draft table.

Seahawks sign UDFA RB Gerald Holmes Seattle Seahawks T-Shirt , waive WR Marvin Bracy With just a day until their first preseason game of the 2018 season, the Seattle Seahawks have made another roster move.Wide receiver and Olympic sprinter Marvin Bracy, signed by the Seahawks last Monday, was waived in order to make room for UDFA running back Gerald Holmes. Holmes, a four-year player at Michigan State, participated in the Indianapolis Colts’ rookie minicamp in May, however he never signed. Seattle is the first team he has signed for in the NFL. At 6-feet and 221 pounds, Holmes tested impressively at the Spartans’ pro day, jumping 10-foot-8 in the broad jump and 35 inches in the vertical. He has the body type to handle a heavy workload (even if it’s just in a preseason game) and the explosiveness Pete Carroll values in running backs. The Seahawks’ latest roster move is a wise one ahead of the first preseason game. The wide receiver group on Seattle’s roster is crowded, with 13 remaining on the roster after Bracy’s release. The running back group, meanwhile, has just five tailbacks, in addition to two fullbacks. The addition of Holmes will allow the Seahawks to give Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, J.D. McKissic and C.J. Prosise lighter workloads on Thursday night, while Holmes and Mike Davis can see touches well into the fourth quarter.Seahawks on tape: 46 Front defense reflects the final 53’s strength The Seattle Seahawks’ decision to put six defensive tackles on their final 53-man roster demonstrates one big strength of their roster. Yet, they still have only nine defensive linemen, revealing their weakest position depth-wise: defensive end. While the total of three defensive ends is the least they’ve ever carried, the Seahawks have only once had as many as six defensive tackles on the squad—in 2015.On the back-end, Seattle—without Kam Chancellor—has a new breed of safety. Tedric Thompson and Bradley McDougald are a near-interchangeable duo. They could each play free and strong. Not fitting the traditional prototypes Seattle Seahawks Hats , instead both feel more like hybrids. The off-season installation of a 46 front is therefore intelligent.(Football is full of different jargon for similar plays. The Seahawks did move Clark right onto the line of scrimmage into a three-point stance from this look, yet based on the personnel, referring to the front as a 3-4 eagle is tempting.)This preseason, Ken Norton’s arrival as defensive coordinator has undoubtedly brought with it more 3-4 ideas, principles and concepts—influenced by his time with the Oakland Raiders. Don’t be mistaken; this is still Pete Carroll’s defense. But remember; we’ve seen elements of three down linemen in the past. For instance: Kris Richard’s 3rd and long 3-2-6 pressure packages. It’s long been said by Pete Carroll himself, that Seattle is running a 4-3 with 3-4 personnel. In the ‘nickel is base’ world of the NFL, the 3-4 and 4-3 monikers have become more and more blurry. The important thing to focus on is this: The best scheme accentuates the strengths of player personnel while hiding the weaknesses. This is something, for all the talk of the Seahawks’ supposedly rigid 4-3 under, that Seattle has done well on defense. They adapt more than many would think.“The best scheme accentuates the strengths of player personnel while hiding the weaknesses.”That’s what this 46 defense attempts to achieve, stemming from the 1940s and Alfred Earle “Greasy” Neale’s Double Eagle front in Philadelphia. Carroll’s tweak appears to be letting his EDGEs pick the width they line up at, which sometimes results in the more natural defensive end playing tighter as a 4i. The Seahawks’ third preseason game, widely regarded as the regular season dress rehearsal, featured the front regularly. (This article keeps the clips to the first string defense, but it was run throughout the game.)Bootleg PressuringThe wide alignment of the EDGEs proved to be an effective bootleg killer against the Minnesota Vikings. The positioning means the defense can’t get outflanked. On the backside, this led to horrid blitzes or pressure for the Vikings’ rollout to deal with.In the following clip, Barkevious Mingo attacks on a backside blitz. He does well to get his arm to deflect the pass incomplete.Relying on safety rotation to pick up the spare man in the slot, Frank Clark blitzes with an excellent angle of attack at the backside hip of the quarterback. Once more, the bootleg pass falls incomplete after the near-instant pressure. The Tight 3The advantages of the formation tie in so sweetly with Seattle’s 2018 makeup: It enables them to play an extra defensive tackle, getting their best players on the field. The front also frees up the inside linebackers, often playing them as 50-techs. The weak inside linebacker can attack just one C-gap downhill Seattle Seahawks Womens Hoodie , and the big trio in the middle (3-t, 0-t, 3-t) should keep him clean. Take it from Rex Ryan, son of the inventor of the 46: Buddy Ryan.Coaching Football’s 46 Defense Jeff Walker and Rex RyanThis will be of even greater benefit to the speed of rookie Shaquem Griffin, who will be slotted alongside Bobby Wagner at WILL against Denver. Griffin has looked raw in his zone coverage drops/landmarks. Plus his pursuit angles have been over-aggressive. Providing him with less to focus on will be beneficial. With three-to-four of the four interior gaps occupied by the defensive line, the blitzing opportunities are plentiful for the inside linebackers. On this clear passing down, K.J. Wright moves out of the box to the EDGE and Wagner blitzes through the strongside B-gap. The tight three creates the room for him to get home on 3rd and goal. Clark drops off the edge in a zone to pick off any hot route to the number three receiver, covered in off-man by Tedric Thompson.Rasheem Green slants right, occupying both the left guard and left tackle. Wagner can then surge through untouched to bring down the quarterback.(This is a nice way to involve Green in the pressure package. Quinton Jefferson’s quickness would also suit such a role.)The EdgesAs the bootleg section touched upon, the front creates a more favorable alignment for players like Barkevious Mingo and Jacob Martin to play both the run and pass from. The eventual return of Wright will mean that Griffin’s filthy spin move off the edge can get into action via the front too. This again means one less defensive end is required.Mingo’s coverage below is near-perfect. He takes his read-steps, sees the running back releasing to his side and therefore drops to the flat. The missed tackle afterwards needs work, but this shows the rush-to-coverage situation the scheme generates. The more regular pass rushers of Clark, Green and Dion Jordan will be more raw at dropping. They do have the athleticism to do it into the flats, though. Here, Green correctly identifies that he has to drop with the fullback releasing into the flat. But his landmark and ball tracking is wayward, resulting in a completion for the first down. We’ll see it called against heavier personnel groupings, particularly on clear running downs. An extreme example would be a 3rd and 2 with the offense in 22 personnel. In addition to the positives already touched upon regarding that tight three, plus the way it stops the bootleg, it also allows Mingo to thrive through his versatility.Maximizing the SafetiesThe safety rotation in the scheme sees the position rotate down into robber positions. It also results in matching assignments that has the safeties picking up the free receiver in man coverage, or running with the deep crosser. This suits Thompson perfectly. As a robber attacking downhill Womens Customized Seattle Seahawks Jerseys , he has shown blistering closing pace attacking players this pre-season. Before Thomas’s return, the two-high nature of the defense would have been a way to negate the importance of range in what would still be largely cover 1 and cover 3. Now Thomas is returning, be it against Denver or later, but he would still succeed in the assignment. This video shows Thompson match the tight end’s route into the flat on the slant-flat concept after the Seahawks send Mingo off the edge. Thompson bullets downfield and stops the play for minimal gain. Delano Hill, the other two-high safety, rotates deep.Slant Negator?Slants are a route that Seattle will often give up, with their “Don’t get beat deep” philosophy holding far more importance. However, the angle of the dropping EDGE player from this 46 gives them an opportunity to get underneath slant routes to swat passes incomplete, or even intercept. The Vikings game showcased that, and—but for Mingo’s slip—he had a chance. As it was, Shaquill Griffin made a fantastic play to break up the pass.Prescient SchemeThere are other ways the Seahawks can be stout against the run while using one more defensive tackle, such as lining up a DT as a big two-gapping defensive end, 脿 la Red Bryant. However, the 46 keeps them symmetrically balanced if they so desire. It also enables them to put their players in the best position to succeed, such as Mingo and Martin, or Thompson and McDougald.Like any scheme, this 46 can be exploited. But Seattle is attempting to make the best out of a bad situation in smart fashion. That’s mightily encouraging. This way they will lean on their strong defensive line interior. Teams won’t want to run on this formation, be it a 7- or 8-man box. Furthermore, the natural counter to most runs—the bootleg—is often taken away too. That makes this a prescient move from the Seattle Seahawks

Center of attention: The Cleveland Browns found a variety of ways to make Drew Brees’ uncomfortable in the pocket on Sunday. The marquee match up of Myles Garrett vs Terron Armstead ended up being one sided in the latter’s favor. It was the battle on the interior of the line that proved to be the match up to look at where Larry Ogunjobi gave Max Unger all he could handle. The Browns used a variety of blitzes and stunts to bring pressure and the first sack the Browns had on Brees came in the 2nd quarter. The Saints are in shotgun facing a 3rd and 7. Cleveland has 3 down lineman and will run a stunt. Ogunjobi is playing the 0-tech and will penetrate through the weak side A-gap while the defensive end will loop around to the strong side A-gap. The stunt prevents a double team by Peat on Ogunjobi Color Rush Vonn Bell Jersey , who is able to key off the ball and uses a club/rip technique to get by Unger. As Brees reaches the top of his drop, he is swallowed up the defensive tackle for an 11-yard loss on third down and the Saints settle for a field goal. Ogunjobi got his second sack on another 3rd down in the third quarter. The Saints will line up in shotgun once again. Cleveland has 3 down lineman and will blitz the middle linebacker through the A-gap. Off the snap, Ogunjobi will attempt to use the club/rip move once again, but this time Unger is ready for it and prevents the defensive tackle from going around him. He then resets his feet and uses a long arm punch that knocks Unger out of his stance and he is unable to reset his anchor. Off balance, Ogunjobi is able to gain leverage and walk Unger back into the quarterback for another sack. On the sack that was wiped away by a flag, Ogunjobi is able to get by Unger using a “hump move”. This is where you start the pass rush with the club/rip move, but before following through on the rip the pass rusher will pull the outside arm of the lineman downwards, while simultaneously coming across the body of the lineman with a hard inside club. This move is best used when you have been beating the lineman with a rip move as it will use the lineman’s momentum against him as he tries to get outside in order to prevent the rip move up field. After beating Unger, he loses his footing but crawls to finish the play and bring down Brees by the ankle. Unger has been a solid center piece on the line since he arrived in the Jimmy Graham trade back in 2015. His normally sound technique was tested in this game, but the Cleveland defense is much better than their record indicates. Grady Jarrett and Terrell McClain of the Atlanta Falcons will be another tough match up, especially if Adrus Peat is unable to play. The Saints quick passing game led by Drew Brees’ quick release can help negate the pass rush, and will most likely be more prominent if Peat isn’t able to go.Saints cuts tracker: Tracking New Orleans roster moves, trades, rumors Marshon Lattimore Jersey , updates, and more The New Orleans Saints and the rest of the NFL clubs officially ended their preseason on Thursday night, and now we play the waiting game to find out how the 2018 roster will shape up.
