Preserving the environment in a way that the future generations can get access to the same or rather enhanced resources is the need of the hour. A sustainable model of living is being adapted across the world and India too has its own sustainability goals. The government has been working with the private sector and NGO’s for a long time to promote the sustainable model of living in the Indian society.

Jones In case you missed the earlier news Mike Remmers Jersey , the Minnesota Vikings have acquired offensive lineman Brett Jones from the New York Football Giants in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. We knew that the Vikings were likely going to be looking for offensive line help, and it appears that the deal for Jones is a pretty good one for the purple. But, since I don’t know a whole lot about Jones, I reached out to our friend Ed Valentine from Big Blue View, SB Nation’s home for New York Giants football. He gave me a little bit of information about Jones, and here’s what he had to say.Well. . .the rule of thumb is that if fans of the other team don’t think it’s a good trade for them, then it must be a good trade for us, right? As mentioned in the previous post about Jones, he did start 13 games for the Giants last season, with 12 of those starts coming at center (and the other coming at left guard). He got the same second-round tender placed on him this offseason as Nick Easton did, and could very well be playing for a big deal somewhere next season.I’m still reading up on what Jones has to offer, but someone that’s watched him a heck of a lot more than I have seems to think that the Vikings got a pretty good player out of the deal, and gave up just a seventh-round pick next year, when the Vikings should have several extra picks in their back pocket thanks to compensatory selections. On the surface Cheap Everson Griffen Jersey , this appears to be a solid move by Rick Spielman. We’ll see where Jones fits in once he finally gets to Minnesota, but I don’t see anything to be disappointed with at this point.Vikings’ NFC North Rivals: News and Notes from Camp One week into the preseason schedule - well, two if your team is the Chicago Bears - and there’s plenty to focus on inside the NFC North. On the field, the Bears were again beaten, this time by the Cincinnati Bengals 30-27; the Detroit Lions dropped their game with the Oakland Raiders 16-10; the Green Bay Packers defeated the Tennessee Titans 31-17; our Minnesota Vikings, of course, defeated the Denver Broncos 42-28.Chicago BearsThe Bears - like every other team - kept their starters off the field for the most part against Cincinnati.Mitchell Trubisky completed only two passes for four yards in two series.Later, on a play in which Cincy’s 2017 first round pick John Ross slipped and fell to the ground while running his route, the Bears’ Kyle Fuller made a nice play and snatched the ball out of the air returning it for a pick-6.The Bengals’ first and second teams outscored the Bears 23-14 going into the half before the scrubs finished out the game.**on a side note, former Viking Moritz Boehringer, who is trying to earn a spot with the Bengals this year as a Tight End did not play in the game.It seems that he’s getting very limited reps in camp, and may be a practice squad stash.2018 First Round pick Roquan Smith has ended his holdout, as he and the Bears have finally agreed to the terms of his contract. The holdout had to do with certain language in the contract, which potentially could have allowed the Bears to reclaim some of the guaranteed money if the young linebacker were to be suspended for an illegal hit with his helmet.Smith played his college ball at Georgia Cheap Kyle Rudolph Jersey , and could make his preseason debut this weekend against the Denver Broncos.Detroit LionsDetroit played the Oakland Raiders, and also sat most of their starters. One player who logged pretty significant time was rookie running back Kerryon Johnson, who rushed for 34 yards and caught passes for another 33 yards. The Lions may have finally found the back they’ve been looking for ever since Barry Sanders retired.Johnson even flashed a little bit of vintage Sanders on Friday - though the play was called back.Ameer Abdullah is beginning to run away with another one of the spots in the backfield, as he had a great game as well.Theo Riddick did not see the field, although there is some speculation that he may be the one who is becoming expendable. The Lions have a really crowded backfield, and there’s a good chance that a pretty good player will have to be cut loose. And speaking of players who could be cut loose, Lions safety Miles Killebrew was moved to Linebacker this week and logged only seven snaps. Some are wondering if he could be caught up in a numbers game in the Lions’ crowded competition at the Safety position. He’s another player that I could see the Vikings showing interest in - if he is indeed let go.The Lions will take on the New York Giants this week at home.Green Bay PackersThe Packers boatraced the Titans 31-17 this week, and the talk in Packerland is centered around this year’s squadron of undrafted, unheralded, or just plain unstoppable Wide Receivers. This script is beginning to feel very familiar:Aaron Rodgers prepares for another season while the team brings in several new receivers who wow during camp and become the next great hope.Jarrett Boykin.Jeff Janis.Ty Montgomery (before he was a running back).Jared Abbrederis.Geronimo Allison. The 2018 version includes illustrious names such as J’Mon Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Jake Kumerow, and Equanimeous St. Brown. Those four combined for 15 catches for 265 yards and two touchdowns.Imagine what Aaron Rodgers career would look like if the Packers were as good at finding defensive players as they are finding fourth string wideouts!Speaking of A-a-ron, he wants his preseason action to come this weekend at Lambeau Field Andrew Sendejo Jersey , in front of the home fans. And the young receivers better be ready, as well.Rodgers had been quite vocal about the sloppy play of the offense earlier in camp.To hear him tell it, his knowledge of the Packers playbook dates back perhaps all the way to advent of the forward pass, and he wants his young wideouts to know that they better be well versed in it, as well. From our friends at Acme Packing Company:That’s more than a hundred years of offensive knowledge to digest before Thursday.I see late night cram sessions, Ramen Noodles, and a case of JOLT Cola in their future.Hope the youngsters are ready! In more serious news, the Packers got some good news on the injury front, as Pro-Bowl left tackle David Bakhtiari, along with rookie defensive back Jaire Alexander both returned to practice this week. The Packers meet up with the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.

Through the years: throughout the passed couple of decades when it comes to wide-left missed field goals Womens Customized Minnesota Vikings Jerseys , but overall the Vikings have had solid kickers who knew how to get the job done.Let’s take a dive into the Vikings time capsule and start in 1998. More specifically, the 1998 NFC Championship game against the Atlanta Falcons. Why not bring up bad memories? For those who don’t know, kicker Gary Anderson was perfect all season heading into that matchup against the Falcons. He went 35 of 35 and his longest coming from 53 yards. He was three of three in the playoffs before he missed the 39-yard field goal that could have potentially put a stamp on Minnesota going to the Super Bowl. That was the only time in his career where he made every field goal in the regular-season. Anderson played with Minnesota until the 2002 season. He played in 78 regular-season games and for the most part had a pretty successful boot. He nailed 109 of 129 field goals while with the Vikings, that’s a 84.5 percent success rate. That’s not bad at all. According to Athlon Sports, Anderson is considered the sixth greatest kicker in Super Bowl era history. The man played for 25 seasons and despite what happened in that championship game, he was still a respectable kicker from a statistical standpoint. After Anderson’s departure from the team there were seven different kickers (including Doug Brien who replaced Anderson in the 2002 season for six games before Minnesota called back Anderson). Five of them had a success rate of at least 80 percent. It’s fair to say that an 80 percent field goal success rate is quite respectable, at least in my eyes. Since we’re on the topic of botched field goals, let’s get Blair Walsh out of the way, shall we?A classic playoff matchup against the Seattle Seahawks and a field goal was all that was needed for the Vikings to advance to the next round. Oh, did I mention it was a 27-yard field goal? No? Well, it was. Walsh did the same thing Anderson did, wide left. Walsh, who had an amazing sophomore and junior season at the University of Georgia, where he hit a near 90 percent both years showed inconsistency when he had a lackluster freshman and senior season. He showed the same type of behavior with the Vikings, except it was a little backwards. He had an outstanding rookie season, he kicked 35 of 38 field goals, while going 10 of 10 from beyond 50 yards. At that time it seemed like Walsh was the perfect replacement for veteran kicker Ryan Longwell. During his second year it seemed like Walsh would be the guy, he kicked 26 of 30 field goals (86.7%). His third season is where he started to show his inconsistencies, he kicked 26 of 35 (74%). He bounced back in his fourth year, but then had another rough season the following year. In his five seasons with Minnesota he had a field goal percentage of 84.2, where he kicked 133 of 158.Honestly, Longwell was probably the most consistent kicker the Vikings have had since 1998. Anytime he would go out and kick I had complete confidence in him to make that kick. It was the same way I felt about Walsh when he was first in the league. The difference between the two is Longwell had consistency and Walsh didn’t. Although Longwell played with Green Bay for nine seasons and is a member of the Packer Hall of Fame, he still came to Minnesota and kicked ass for six seasons. In his 96 games, he hit 135 of 154 field goals (86%). Unlike Anderson and Walsh, Longwell never really had that big time blown missed kick. Once Walsh became a bust and just crushed whatever hopes the Vikings had to continue in the playoffs, his struggles continued into the following season. That’s when Walsh was cut and good ole Kai Forbath took his spot. I got to say, Forbath was a trusty kicker, was he not? In 2016, in the seven games he played for the Vikings he hit 15 of 15 field goals. Despite his success with field goals, he managed to miss three extra points, which resulted in 78.6 percent. In the 23 games that Forbath participated in for Minnesota, he only missed six field goals. He went 47 of 53 with field goals and 45 of 53 with extra points. Let’s not forget about Hall of Fame kicker Morten Andersen. He played one season with Minnesota back in 2004. According to Athlon Sports, he is the second greatest kicker in Super Bowl era history. He nailed 18 of 22 field goals (81.8%). The two outliers who performed under 80 percent were Aaron Elling and Paul Edinger. Elling played 23 games with the the Vikings from 2003-2004, he only had a field goal percentage of 72 percent, he hit 18 of 25. Edinger played one season in 2005 and kicked 25 of 34 field goals (73.5%). He’s known for his 56-yard game winning field goal against the Packers (someone actually hit a clutch kick). The reason Vikings fans may be so critical of kickers is because we are used to having successful kickers rather than bad ones and when one does miss a big field goal we are even more disappointed. We’re not even mad, just disappointed. Like a parent scolding their kid. Ease up on Daniel Carlson, he’ll come around鈥?I hope. Many facets of the game of football were on display tonight. For the majority of the game www.vikingscheapshops.com , defense was not one of them.Under a picture-perfect California sky, the Minnesota Vikings kicked off the NFL’s Week Four schedule Thursday night by taking on the Los Angeles Rams .The Rams won the toss and deferred, bringing Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense onto the field to start the game.Cousins’ passing offense moved the ball down the field, and Dalvin Cook’s running was hot and cold.On third-and-ten from the Rams sixteen, Cousins hit Vikings newcomer Aldrick Robinson on a pretty pass in the end zone.Fellow Vikings newcomer Dan Bailey banged the extra point through, to make the score 7-0 Vikings. The drive went 13 plays for 75 yards and took 7:05 off the clock. The Rams, wearing their classic blue-and-yellow jerseys went on their own 12-play, 75-yard drive before quarterback Jared Goff hit running back Todd Gurley on a quick-hit pass to even the score at 7.The offense seemed to be picking on Anthony Barr just a bit, and Gurley blew past Barr on the touchdown. The Vikings took over, and Cousins once again drove the Vikings down the field, including a couple of very nice third-and-fourth-down conversions.Dan Bailey came in for the 37 yards try.For a few fleeting milliseconds, it seemed like the kick was going鈥?you guessed it, wide right. The familiar *BONG* of the uprights sounded, and the ball鈥?went鈥?THROUGH!!!!!ZOMGWEHAVEAKICKERAGAIN!!! 10-7 Vikings. The Rams struck quickly on the next drive - against Anthony Barr yet again - with Jared Goff hitting wide receiver Cooper Kupp in stride for a 70-yard catch-and-run touchdown, giving the Rams their first lead of the game at 14-10.It probably wasn’t entirely Barr’s fault, as replays showed Mac Alexander was initially covering Kupp.Cousins and the Vikings offense didn’t flinch one bit.Three plays, seventy five yards, 1:22 off the clock.Bang.Bang.Bang.Passes of 34, 24, and finally a 17-yard touchdown, again to Aldrick Robinson, putting the Vikings on top 17-14.Apparently both coaching staffs had reached the end of their playbooks, as both teams exchanged three-and-outs.Then, the Rams stormed back down the field on a four play, 71-yard drive which culminated with Goff hitting Cooper Kupp yet again, to put the Rams back on top 21-17.The drive was marked by poor play and penalties in the defensive backfield.Momentum, body language, everything was pointing at the Rams at this point. The Vikings went five yards on four plays before punting. Then, Xavier Rhodes held his man, kicked the penalty flag, and Jared Goff then hit Brandin Cooks in stride for a 47 yard touchdown, making the score 28-17 Los Angeles. The Vikings abysmal clock management once again reared its ugly head, with the team wasting twenty seconds before bringing in Dan Bailey, who booted the ball through the uprights once again, bringing the Vikings to within eight. At halftime, the score stood at 28-20 Rams.To begin the second half, Vikings Defensive End Danielle Hunter made two nice plays and the Rams were forced to punt.Rams Head Coach Sean McVay reached into his bag of tricks to attempt a fake punt Minnesota Vikings T-Shirt , which the Vikings covered well, forcing the turnover on downs. The Vikings were once again forced to punt. The Rams then benefitted from an absolutely awful non-call on a block in the back by guard Rodger Saffold, which allowed Todd Gurley to scamper 57 yards. That brought the Rams into field goal range, and Sam Ficken booted it through making the score 31-20.The Vikings took over with 5:21 left in the third quarter.Kirk Cousins hit Stefon Diggs on a couple of nice plays, then nailed Adam Thielen for a 45 yard score. The Vikings lined up for two, where Cousins then hit Latavius Murray in the flat for the two-point conversion, bringing the Vikings to within three at 31-28.The Rams would answer back yet again, as Jared Goff hit Robert Woods down the seam for a 31-yard touchdown over (it hurts to even say, at this point) Anthony Barr, making the score 38-28.After a Vikings punt, the Rams ran over five and a half minutes off the clock. The Vikings defense held, and forced a field goal attempt by Sam Fickens from 28.Fickens missed, and the score held at 38-28.The Vikings then went on nine play, 58-yard drive which ended with a Dan Bailey 40-yard field goal, bringing them within a touchdown of the Rams, at 38-31.With just over two minutes remaining, the Vikings got the ball back with a chance to tie, but Kirk Cousins was stripped of the ball by Rams Defensive End John Franklin-Meyers, and the Rams recovered, effectively ending the game.Quarterback Kirk Cousins was 36/50 for 422 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was sacked four times, for 30 yards. He also led the team in rushing, carrying four times for 28 yards.Dalvin Cook rushed ten times for 20 yards, and Latavius Murray and Roc Thomas ran a combined three times for six yards. The Vikings receivers stat lines were as follows:Stefon Diggs 11/123, Adam Thielen 8/135/1, Kyle Rudolph 5/57, Laquon Treadwell 4/47, Aldrick Robinson 2/33/2Defensively, the Vikings stats would be laughable, if it didn’t hurt so much.Danielle Hunter grabbed the only sack of the night, the team forced no turnovers, and gave up 556 yards of total offense. If there is a silver lining, the team held the Rams to just 1-of-6 on third-down.The problem is that the Rams had twelve drives, which means six times, they never had to worry about a third down conversion. With the loss, the Vikings fall to 1-2-1 on the season.Up next is another road game, this time against the World Champion Philadelphia Eagles.Thank you to everyone for hanging around the game threads and also thanks to those of you who found your Vikings coverage right here on the Daily Norseman.

Saints vs. Chargers 2018: travelled out to my backyard of Los Angeles New Orleans Saints Womens Hoodie , California this past week, having taken part in joint practices with the Los Angeles Chargers in Costa Mesa, and culminating with a preseason game in the Chargers’ surrogate home in Carson.I’ve had the great fortune to see the Saints play four times in Southern California since the 2016 season after they hadn't been to the region for a very long time.I’ve given recaps for those games at San Diego (Week 4) ‘16, at Los Angeles (preseason) ‘17, and at Los Angeles (Week 12) ‘17.This will be the last time the Saints play at StubHub Center, as the Chargers are set to move into their massive new Inglewood venue with the Rams in 2020.I’ll miss seeing the Saints in this quaint venue, enjoying the chance to get up close with the team in ways that could not be afforded in usual NFL stadiums and will most certainly be impossible in LA’s upcoming mega-stadium.Much like seeing your favorite musical act in a tiny club, rather than the local arena, this was a unique change of scenery. Here we go with my view from Section 123 in the second row of the end zone near the Saints sideline***StubHub Center, the NFL’s smallest venue by a wide margin, prepares to host Who Dat Nation - SoCal Chapter.***Head Coach Sean Payton about to take advantage of a pregame photo op.***The Saints’ running backs corps.Who stays, who goes?***The Dynamic Duo of the Saints backfield, both playing in a game together for what will likely be the last time until Week 5.***Cameron Meredith snagging some passes in pregame warmups.***Benjamin Watson follows Cam in line to make a grab.***Drew Brees may seem like a lock to make this team, JT Barrett, not so much.***The 2017 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Alvin Kamara, is primed to make another splash in 2018.***The defensive backfield had long been the Saints most glaring weakness. Now the talent in the secondary is quite impressive, led by the 2017 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Marshon Lattimore.***The best leg in the business is currently one of the longest-tenured Saints, and he’s back for another season in Black and Gold.***The pregame huddle led by Head Cheermeister, Drew Brees.***Here’s the breakout star of last year’s preseason game in Los Angeles, Al-Quadin Muhammad.***Here, Muhammad is joined by First-round pick, Marcus Davenport, in his first game action of this preseason.***Cam Jordan proves an impressive sight to behold up close.***Sheldon Rankins certainly ranks 98 out of 100 on the “Big Boy” scale.***Expectations will be undoubtedly high for this pair in 2018.Add in Ken Crawley to complete the Saints’ “No Fly Zone”.***Second-year standout, Marcus Williams has been supremely motivated since he left the field in Minnesota this past January. He was focused yet remained quite loose in warmups.***The team prepares for kickoff.***Chris Banjo focuses on the game at hand.***It’s time for the opening kickoff!***No “View From” post is complete without the “Cariello Special” cheerleader shot.***Tom Savage with the handoff to Jonathan Williams.***The diminutive venue was full of Saints fans. Who Dat! The New Orleans Saints are coming off their best offensive performance of the young 2018 season, 534 total yards, last week in a 43-37 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons. They ride that momentum into New York this Sunday to take on the 1-2 Giants. New Orleans (2-1), still without suspended Pro Bowl running back Mark Ingram, are playing their second consecutive game on the road. New York meanwhile, is coming off a 27-22 defeat of the Houston Texans for their first victory of the season. The Saints enter the game ranked 4th in the NFL in total offense, and their 104 points scored are second in the league. They take on a Giant defense that ranks 15th in total yardage, and have surrendered an average of 21 points per game. Let's have a look at some of the key matchups on the offensive side of the ball for New Orleans. SAINTS PASS OFFENSE vs. GIANTS PASS DEFENSE Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty ImagesThe Saints have the league's 3rd most productive passing attack, and possess two of the most feared receiving weapons in the NFL. Third year wideout Michael Thomas leads the league in both receptions (38, a league record after three games) and receiving yards (398), catching an amazing 95% of his 40 targets. Thomas overwhelms nearly all defensive backs with his size, strength, and route precision, while possessing strong hands to snatch the ball in traffic, and is skilled at creating yards after the catch. An even bigger threat to defenses in the open field is Alvin Kamara, last year's offensive rookie of the year. Kamara has 30 receptions, third in the league, and leads all NFL running backs with 289 receiving yards. Thomas and Kamara have accounted for 63.7% of the Saints passing yardage so far this season, mostly because of their incredible ability, but also in part due to a lack of consistency from the team's other receivers. Ted Ginn Jr. (135 yards, 2 touchdowns) and tight end Benjamin Watson (134 yards) are tied for third on the team with 12 receptions. No New Orleans target other than Thomas www.saintscheapshops.com , Kamara, Ginn, and Watson have as many as five targets or 3 catches. Offseason acquisitions Cameron Meredith (free agent) and Tre'quan Smith (draft, 3rd round) have just 1 catch each, and must be more productive to increase the effectiveness of the passing attack. Delivering the ball of course, is one of the football's all-time greats, Drew Brees. The 18-yr. veteran broke the NFL record for career completions last week against the Falcons, and now sits just 418 yards away from passing Peyton Manning as the NFL's all-time passing yardage leader. Brees has completed 80% of his throws for 1,078 yards and eight touchdowns so far this season, and has not thrown an interception. He combines his uncanny accuracy with a fiery competitiveness, bullying his way for two rushing scores in last Sunday's comeback in Atlanta. The New Orleans offensive line has only allowed their quarterback to be sacked five times, and has stood up well despite the team's pass-heavy attack. New York ranks 13th in pass defense, a big improvement from their 31st ranking in the category a year ago. One reason for this though is the fact that the Giants faced limited passing attacks in the Jaguars and Cowboys within the first two games of the season. Last week against Houston, they surrendered 385 passing to Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. New York has been missing two of it's best defensive players, cornerback Eli Apple (groin) and edge rusher Olivier Vernon (ankle), neither of whom are expected to play this Sunday. The Giants still have a number of capable defensive players, but have just four sacks and two interceptions on the young season. Cornerback Janoris Jenkins and safety Landon Collins are dangerous playmakers on the back end, and linebacker Alec Ogletree is one of the most versatile defenders in the game. Donte Deayon has been playing for Apple at cornerback, a position that the Saints look to have a distinct advantage. Rookies Lorenzo Carter and B.J. Hill were added this offseason, along with free agents Connor Barwin and Mario Edwards, in hopes that they could combine with Vernon to increase New York's pressure from the edge after only 27 sacks last season. They have the strength and athleticism to challenge Saints tackles Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk, but the New Orleans line must also keep Brees free of inside pressure. Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty Images~ Key Matchup: Brees vs. Ogletree/Jenkins/Collins ~Kamara and Thomas will each face stiff challenges from Ogletree and Janoris Jenkins in one on one matchups during the game, but they have both proven that they can be effectiveagainst any defense. Brees threw the ball to eight different receivers in last week's victory, completing touchdown passes to Meredith, Ginn, and fullback Zach Line. He was as sharp as he's ever been through his exemplary career last week and against Tampa Bay in week one, as the Saints put a combined 83 points on the scoreboard. During the week two win against Cleveland, Brees was just slightly off the mark at times (for him), missing a few easy scoring chances. With Ingram out of the lineup again New Orleans Saints T-Shirt , it's clear that Brees has to be at the very top of his game for the Saints offense to have success. Ogletree, Jenkins, and Landon Collins are dangerous playmakers who can turn a mistake into an instant defensive score if the offense is even slightly off. SAINTS RUN OFFENSE vs. GIANTS RUN DEFENSE Photo by Daniel Shirey/Getty ImagesNew Orleans continues to struggle running the football without Ingram. The team ranks just 28th in rushing yards, and is averaging less than four yards per carry. They had their best rushing output of the season against Atlanta, finishing with 143 yards on 27 attempts, but that was bolstered by a few big gains from Taysom Hill and Ginn. Kamara leads the team in rushing with just 141 yards, but does have two scores on the ground and has run for two 2-pt conversions. Both Jonathan Williams and Mike Gillislee have been extremely disappointing, and get no more than a few carries per game as a change of pace. The Saints have often brought Hill into the game in short yardage or close to the goal line, and he combines with Kamara to open up numerous rushing opportunities along the perimeter of defenses due to the athleticism of both players. Left guard Andrus Peat has missed the last two games with injury, and replacement Josh Leribeus has struggled along with center Max Unger and right guard Larry Warford to open up interior running lanes. The Giants are 18th against the run, and have given up 4.6 yards per rush. Damon Harrison and Kerry Wynn form one of the league's better run defending duos up front, and Alec Ogletree was obtained in an offseason trade to upgrade the team's linebacking play. New York prevented Jacksonville's Leonard Fournette and Dallas' Ezekiel Elliott from having big games against them, but neither present the open field threat that they will face in Kamara. Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports~ Key Matchups: New Orleans offensive line vs. New York defensive front ~The Saints had their best rushing success of the year by attacking the edge of the Atlanta defense with the run, rather than the up the middle. They were able to get Kamara, Hill, and Ginn in space, averaging over five yards per rush. The same approach may work best for the New Orleans offense this game. Defensive tackle Damon Harrison is a strong run defender inside, but the Giants edge defenders, despite good size, are better suited for pass rushing roles. The athletic Saints line needs to get to the second level of the New York defense to neutralize Ogletree and Collins, allowing Kamara some additional space on runs and screens. WHAT TO LOOK FOR Historically, the Saints offense has struggled to put points on the board when they travel to New York to face either the Giants or Jets. The continued struggles of the New Orleans pass defense puts additional pressure on their offense to be nearly flawless in their execution. The Saints will get Thomas and Kamara involved early and often, but the success of players like Watson, Meredith, or Josh Hill in the middle of the field will be paramount to keeping the Giant defense off balance and out of position. The Saints bring a far more explosive offense than New York has faced in Jacksonville, Dallas, or Houston to begin the year. New Orleans will need to get on the board early to dictate the pace of the game and slightly reduce the pressure on their reeling defense. Continued aggressive and mistake-free play should be the formula for an important road win against what looks to be an overmatched opponent.

It seems like the New Orleans Saints import a standout defensive player from the Canadian Football League every year:Delvin Breaux http://www.thesaintsfootballauthentic.com/ken-crawley-jersey-authentic , Adam Bighill, and Erik Harris are the three most-recent signees.Sure, results vary - Breaux is still waiting to join a team ahead of next month’s training camp, Bighill returned to the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers after a year on New Orleans’ practice squad, and Harris is currently getting starter reps at safety after being nominated for last year’s Pro Bowl off of special teams play.Harris struggled to get on the field in New Orleans after a rough initial summer. He got turned around to take some bad angles in preseason games and didn’t look to have the range the Saints coveted, and later found in Marcus Williams.Relegated to special teams duties, Harris ended his rookie season with a torn ACL in practice following his interception of Drew Brees.Fortunately for Harris, things have turned up in a big way. He’s since joined the Oakland Raiders and earned unprompted praise from $100-million head coach Jon Gruden, then followed that up with some great practice reps in place of injured starter Marcus Gilchrist. While Harris didn’t make the roster in New Orleans - better players like Williams, Vonn Bell, and Chris Banjo leapfrogged him on the depth chart - it’s cool to see a former Saints hopeful find some success.Considering Harris’ close friendship to Breaux - they were teammates in the CFL Youth Michael Thomas Jersey , and the New Orleans native stood by in support of Harris at his 2016 Saints tryout - and the Raiders’ thin group at cornerback, it’s simple to connect some dots and wonder if Breaux could end up at the Silver and Black’s training camp next month. It’s a shame neither of them worked out long-term in New Orleans, but these guys remain easy to root for. Adam Thielen was putting together yet another stellar performance for the Minnesota Vikings, who were on the verge of extending a three-point lead late in the second quarter when Thielen plunged forward for extra yardage after a short first-down catch.New Orleans defenders P.J. Williams and Alex Anzalone converged and pried the ball loose at the 14, and Marshon Lattimore scooped up the fumble to start a 54-yard return . Two plays later, the Saints were in the end zone to complete that sharp momentum shift right before halftime in their 30-20 victory on Sunday night ."That's probably the biggest reason we lost the game," said Thielen, who had seven receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown. "When you have the momentum going into the half, you're going to score points and then you get a chance to get the ball in the second half, that's a huge play. It can't happen, and obviously I'm going to take ownership of it."In the third quarter http://www.thesaintsfootballauthentic.com/ted-ginn-jr-jersey-authentic , the other half of Minnesota's dominant wide receiver duo made a costly mistake, too. Stefon Diggs, who had his own standout game with 10 catches for 119 yards and a score, stopped a drag route too soon while an under-pressure Kirk Cousins tried to dump the ball off but had it intercepted by P.J. Williams for a 45-yard touchdown return ."It was all on me, and the guy got an easy pick," Diggs said. "Maybe if we could get that play back, things would be different."The last time the Vikings faced the Saints, Diggs famously turned a sideline catch into a 61-yard touchdown on the last play of their NFC divisional round playoff game to beat the Saints 29-24. The "Minneapolis Miracle," it was called. This time, for all the highlight-reel and chain-moving catches Thielen and Diggs made during this prime-time game, the moments that stood out the most were these twin Minneapolis mistakes."We turned the ball over http://www.thesaintsfootballauthentic.com/alex-okafor-jersey-authentic , yes," coach Mike Zimmer said. "This is still a good football team."Thielen, who matched the all-time NFL record set first by Calvin Johnson for Detroit in 2012 with his eighth straight 100-yard game, was having a hard time accepting any of his positive contributions afterward given the potential 14-point swing his fumble produced in a game the Vikings ultimately lost by 10."You're the best player on our football team," Cousins told Thielen immediately after the turnover. "It happens."Unfortunately for the Vikings (4-3-1), it happened at one of the worst possible times. The same went for Diggs on the second-and-8 play from the Minnesota 44 with New Orleans leading 20-13."What's interesting about it is they have been so good, and you take for granted the fact that they're human and mistakes happen," said Cousins, who went 31 for 41 for 359 yards. He added: "We have a good locker room and a good group of guys who stay together and play hard for one another, and that's going to be a big piece of our story here down the stretch the last eight games."

since early in the fourth quarter of Week Nine and Josh Adams ran for a touchdown in the second quarter of the game. That’s the end of the good news for the Eagles through the first 30 minutes of Sunday’s game in New Orleans. Drew Brees threw two touchdown passes Cheap Sheldon Rankins Jersey , Mark Ingram ran for a score and the Saints are up 24-7 at halftime.Brees is 15-of-22 for 205 yards overall against an undermanned Eagles secondary and the Ingram/Alvin Kamara duo has combined for 112 rushing yards. An outstanding performance by the Saints offense is nothing new and their defense has done its part on Sunday as well. Marshon Lattimore picked off Carson Wentz to kill one Eagles drive, Sheldon Rankins got a sack on third down to do the same in the second quarter and Alex Okafor got another sack just before halftime to help ensure the lead would hold up.The Eagles have just 109 yards overall and it seems unlikely they can muster what it takes on both sides of the ball to end the Saints’ eight-game losing streak.Trey Hendrickson and Devaroe Lawrence showcase Saints DL depth against Cardinals [Film Study] The decision on who to cut off on the defensive line come the end of the preseason is going to be difficult for the New Orleans Saints coaching staff. Without Alex Okafor (ankle sprain), Cameron Jordan (veteran rest) and Marcus Davenport (minor muscle strain) not playing the defensive end players in particular have gotten extra looks and many are the making the most of them. Several players have received significant snaps on the EDGE through the first two games. Trey Hendrickson (25 Defensive Snaps, 3 Special Teams)has continued where he left off last season and could quietly be in contention for the starting spot opposite Jordan. (This would seem to be Okafor’s to lose, with Davenport being a pass rush specialist). Last week we talked about T-Rex’s ability as a pass rusher and some of his favorite pass rush moves, and this week he showed us even more variety.Trey HendricksonSomething mentioned briefly in that article was that Hendrickson wasn’t seen as a stalwart against the run, but it wasn’t necessarily considered a weakness. It is an area of his game that he still had to improve upon and last night showed, that while it’s still a work in progress, it’s trending in the right direction. In the above play we see Hendrickson lined up as a seven technique outside the tight end in a two point stance. The second year player out of Florida Atlantic does a good job of driving the tight end back with good hand placement and power to lock out before shedding the block and tackling the runningback behind the line. His ability to control the blocker and push him back towards the mesh point, which cuts off the runningbacks angles, is an example of improved run blocking technique.Speaking with someone close to the team they noted this about Trey’s performance against Arizona Cheap Alvin Kamara Jersey , “He’s playing a stand-up 7 tech in a 5 man front, basically 3-4 OLB stuff. The fact that he’s able to be this explosive with his hands without using the ground as a platform is really scary.” His performance as a pass rusher was also notably positive. As in the formation about, and you’ll see the Saints deploy this look regularly, Hendrickson is once again a seven tech lined up wide of the right tackle. The speed off the edge here leaves him look as if he was unblocked. Nick Underhill noted that not only did he look quick off the edge, but that he was also guessing snap counts which lead to him being in the backfield before the opposing offensive linemen could react. Devaroe LawrenceHendrickson wasn't the only lineman impressing both fans and analysts against the Cardinals. For the second straight week Lawrence worked from the inside earning multiple pressures, a pass break up and a tackle for loss. Devaroe saw 26 snaps on defense which was good for second most among defensive tackles. (Taylor Stallworth had 32). His best play came on a deep twist concept.Rookie quarterback Josh Rosen makes a smart play to throw the ball down at the feet of his receiver to avoid the sack, but the pressure by Devaroe is what causes this incompletion. He is going to cross from B gap to opposite B gap showing very good short area quickness and agility. Devaroe reads the hip of Jay Bromley and plays off of it, dipping behind and then explodes from a lowered base with very good hand placement and play strength to rock the left guard back towards the quarterback. Plays like the one above show why the Saints have chosen to keep Lawrence around even with him struggling with injuries about both the collegiate and professional level. His back-story, one that Luke Johnson of NOLA.com writes about here, makes him a player everyone wants to root for and see succeed.Al-Quadin MuhammadMuhammad showed a couple of good plays as well, including being a factor on the outside in the play we just saw with Lawrence. The young defender out of Miami racking up 27 snaps on the EDGE was the most of any defensive end in the game last night Terron Armstead Jersey , and while there is still evidence of the “rawness” that was his buzzword coming out of the 2017 NFL draft we can also see progression. As a unit, this is a negative play for the defense. Bromley fails to properly engage and lock down the double team which allows the left guard to carry up to Anzalone and clear him. Craig Robertson fails to extend and lock out against the fullback and is blocked out of the play even though he initially fills the gap. However, a positive on this play is Al-Quadin who has outside containment. Hand placement inside the left tackle while controlling his inside shoulder allows Al-Quadin to walk him back behind the gap forcing the runningback to cut up field. Generally, you always want to push players runners and receivers inside where you have help. Muhammad then struggles to efficiently disengage, which is something he’ll need to continue to work on, but he did his job.The push-pull technique that Muhammad is using here was something we saw last year and is one of his go to pass rush moves. While he isn’t able to finish the play by sacking Rosen (or altering the throw) the first half of the rep shows very good play/grip strength with the athletic ability to control the edge.Hau’oli KikahaNot to be forgotten, Kikaha is fighting to stay on the roster and is doing so from multiple positions on defense. Kikaha (22 Defensive Snaps, 6 Special Teams) also saw time on special teams against the Cardinals which is not something we’re used to seeing. If he can provide value as a special teams candidate it increases his odds of making the roster. While Kikaha has failed to live up to the expectations his 2nd draft grade places him he has to be given credit for finding ways to stick around. He’s seen snaps both as a defensive end and as the back up strong side linebacker this preseason.Coming out of college one of Kikaha’s strengths was his hand usage and that trait is on display here. Utilizing a double swat and rip Kikaha is about to run the arc and apply pressure to the Cardinals quarterback. Like many of his plays for the black and gold he’s close, but not close enough. As an edge rusher the team needs to see more of him finishing plays instead of just influencing some. Other Notes:Mitchell Loewen - Loewen had some good reps, and right now the main thing to watch for his consistency and general improvement in overall technique. There are a lot of half rep wins on Loewen’s tape, including last night. On some plays he’ll take control at the beginning but lack the ability to sustain Max Unger Jersey , and on others he’ll lose the rep but still be a factor in the play due to his grit and motor. Jay Bromley - There were some positive plays for Bromley, but if he’s going to make the Saints roster he’ll likely be doing it as the backup to Tyeler Davison as a one gapping nose tackle. In this regard Bromley didn’t have the best showing against the Cardinals. While he was able to generation pressure from the inside on a couple of passing plays he didn’t show enough as a gap stuff to help keep the linebackers clean on running downs.Taylor Stallworth - He saw the most snaps of any defensive lineman with 32, and while there were flashes of success there weren't enough for the amount of snaps he played. Overall Stallworth is having a strong training camp and preseason, and like many of the young players talked about in this article continual improvement on technique will lead to more wins. As of now I’d have him behind Lawrence, but above Bromley, in the fight to take what is likely the 4th (and last) DT spot on the 53 man roster. Sheldon Rankins & David Onyemata - Both looked good in limited work. Onyemata is still the raw and overpowering bull in a china shop while Rankins is the technician putting it all together methodically. The team is pretty happy with what they have with these two and that’s why they’re listed as 1a and 1b. Tyeler Davison - Davison only saw eight reps with the defense early in the game. most of the defensive line starters saw limited and were enjoying the game from the sideline. With just a couple of weeks left in the preseason the battle for the final defensive line spots are becoming one of the best training camp and roster battles to watch. While many players on this list are locks (Hendrickson, Rankins, Onyemata, etc.) there is still a spot or two for one of these lesser known players to make it.

New England keeps Keionta Davis and Ted Karras on its 53-man roster The NFL’s cutdown deadline came and went Youth Dont'a Hightower Jersey , and the New England Patriots have not yet officially announced the roster moves they have made in order to get below the 53 men threshold. However, the first names of bubble players to stay on the team and survive cuts have already emerged: three of the depth defensive backs have made the team, as did a pair of linemen.According to NESN’s Doug Kyed, defensive edge Keionta Davis has made the team......as did offensive lineman Ted Karras (per the Providence Journal’s Mark Daniels):Davis and Karas were two of the pleasant surprises this summer. Both were fighting for their roster lives but rose to the occasion: Davis saw plenty of time with the starting defense and responded well by registering 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hits during the preseason. He will now serve as a rotational piece of the Patriots’ defensive edge rotation, and likely see the field on passing down as a sub rusher.Ted Karras, meanwhile, returns for a third year as New England’s primary backup along the interior offensive line. The former sixth-round draft pick has started games in both of his previous seasons with the team http://www.thepatriotsfootballauthentic.com/patrick-chung-jersey-authentic , and is a valuable and experienced backup option at center and guard.Former Patriots linebacker Harvey Langi finds a new home, signs with Jets’ practice squad As a result of second-year man Harvey Langi missing considerable practice time over the course of the summer, the New England Patriots opted to release him during September’s roster cutdowns. While there were rumors of him joining the team’s practice squad, he was never signed and remained on the open market – until yesterday: according to the NFL’s transactions wire, the New York Jets have signed the 26-year old to their practice squad.Langi originally joined the Patriots in 2017. After he went unselected during the draft, the Patriots signed him to a free agency contract. Over his first NFL offseason, Langi quickly established himself as a player worth keeping in the fold: following a strong training camp and preseason http://www.thepatriotsfootballauthentic.com/marcus-cannon-jersey-authentic , the Brigham Young product made New England’s 53-man roster and started his rookie year as a developmental depth option at linebacker. However, his season came to a quick end on October 13: Langi and his wife, Cassidy, were waiting in their car at a red stoplight when they were rear-ended by a driver going 50 mph. The couple survived the crash but not without suffering serious injuries. Cassidy sustained fractures to both her hips as well as broken ribs, Harvey injured both his neck and his head – injuries that would keep him off the football field for the rest of the season.Seven months removed from the near-fatal car crash, Langi was back on the Patriots’ practice fields during organized team activities and minicamp – one of the feel-good stories of the year. Practicing without any visible physical limitations, the second-year defender was in a position to fight for a roster spot at the linebacker position. However Youth Joe Thuney Jersey , his bad luck returned: he suffered an internal laceration and was held out for the entire preseason – which ultimately led to his release.Langi is not the first ex-Patriot dealing with injuries to join the Jets: in May, the team also claimed former third-round draft pick Antonio Garcia on waivers. Garcia missed all of his 2017 rookie season due to blood clots in his lungs and was let go by the Patriots after the team acquired Isaiah Wynn and Trent Brown over draft weekend. However, the Troy product did not turn his career around in New York and was released again in late August.
