Path of Exile: Withering - Release Date and Trailer

The Grinding Gear Games team announced at the Path of Exile: Blight update will debut. An extension trailer was also released, showing its greatest attraction, the task inspired by the tower defense game.

Studio Grinding Gear Games announces the release date of the Path of Exile Blight expansion pack, a popular action RPG based on the free model and POE Currency micropayments. The team said that the expansion would release on September 6 this year. This term applies only to the PC version. This add-on will introduce a new challenge alliance to the game, where the plot will revolve around the title plague. Below this name is a fungal infection that controls the body of an infected victim. The Cassia sisters will try to destroy her, and the players will help her.

Attacking the plague group will defend all infected people. Fighting them will be similar to the tower defense strategy. The enemy will follow the visible route, and the player will use the automatic defense turret.

There will be many such defensive structures to choose from. For example, turrets will be able to freeze, set fire, smash and stun enemies, and hit them with electric shocks. Some of them will also provide the ability to summon reinforcements or strengthen the statistics of allies. You can also choose to upgrade these buildings with the Path of Exile Orbs.

To fight infection, we will get special oils to enrich objects with new effects. There will also be new devices. Blight will also offer three types of conversion prototypes, Necromancer, Poison Assassin, and Saboteur.
