Two studios making in 2010's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Activision promises "near photorealistic" world

In a news release this afternoon, Activision formally announced Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and said that two studios are in work to bring the sport to market this November. Sledgehammer Games is working around the Xbox One/PlayStation 4/PC versions, while an independent studio being named later is handling the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 versions. Multiplayer shooter Titanfall was developed inside a similar Kronos 3 Gold way; Respawn Entertainment handled the Xbox One and PC versions, while Bluepoint Games developed the Xbox 360 iteration.
There's no mention of an Wii U version for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be the first entry inside the blockbuster series developed within Activision's new three-year, three-studio development cycle. That's not the sole first.
