Massive changes to how PVP works

One of the very interesting announcements away from BlizzCon was sweeping changes to World of Warcraft's antiquated PVP system. Since World of Warcraft's launch in 2004, servers are actually divided into PVP and PVE versions. If you planned to kill others while questing on view world, PVP servers permit you to deal death without restraint. The problem achievable system is if your server heavily favors one faction and the other, getting a fair (and fun) fight is very rare. In an attempt to revitalize open-world PVP, Blizzard is scrapping PVP servers entirely.

Instead, a different system will permit players to attend their capital city and flag for PVP. When they go out into the world, they'll only encounter other players whorrrre also flagged for PVP. If you're currently trapped on the PVP server that favors the enemy faction and want to get some questing done, this can be great news. There's no window set for when these changes are going to be implemented, but my expectation is either with Battle for Azeroth's pre-launch patch or https://www.mmoah.com/warmane
