NFL fantasy football waiver wire: 6 adds and 3 drops for Week 4 It’s time for another round of fantasy football waiver wire adds and drops as we enter Week 4. Week 4 AddsFalcons WR Calvin RidleyThe Falcons are finally getting great production from their first-round pick Trayveon Williams Cincinnati Bengals Jersey , as Calvin Ridley has been targeted 13 times and scored four touchdowns over the past two weeks. The former Alabama star burned the Saints for 146 receiving yards and three scores on eight targets in Week 3. He clearly has passed Mohamed Sanu as the No. 2 option next to Julio Jones, making Ridley one of the top pickups you need to make this week. Bengals TE Tyler EifertThe Bengals finally got some much-needed production from Tyler Eifert, who is working his way back after missing much of the last two years due to injury. Eifert caught six of eight targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 31-21 loss to the Panthers. He had just five catches for 67 yards combined over the first two weeks, so this was a big step forward. He’s still splitting time with C.J. Uzomah, though Eifert is slowly getting the bulk of the snaps and targets. Eifert was owned in just 56 percent of CBS leagues as of Sunday. Raiders WR Jordy NelsonThe Raiders are a mess, but that has at least led to Derek Carr throwing the ball a lot through the first three weeks. That continued in a Week 3 loss to the Dolphins, where Jordy Nelson re-emerged from the fantasy graveyard to catch six balls for 163 yards and a score on eight targets. If he keeps that up, Nelson will become a weekly starter again, but for now, he’s good receiver depth on your bench. Ravens RB Javorius ‘Buck’ Allen It’s hard to say you should add a guy that has 102 total yards through three games, but when he has four touchdowns, you can’t let him sit on waivers either. That’s the case with Buck Allen Renell Wren Cincinnati Bengals Jersey , who continues to slowly take away touches from Alex Collins, who did have a score and 68 yards in a Week 3 win over the Broncos. Allen is still worth adding if you need running back help. 49ers RB Alfred MorrisThe 49ers were hit hard on the injury front in Week 3 (more on that later), which included Matt Breida suffering a knee injury. He did return to the game but had his touches limited to just 13 in a loss to the Chiefs. That allowed Alfred Morris to get more snaps, as he ran for 67 yards and a score on 14 carries. Even if Breida is fine, Morris is someone that needs to be rostered as a handcuff at worst. Packers WR Geronimo AllisonIn addition to having one of the best names in the NFL, Geronimo has now over 60 yards receiving in every game this season while scoring twice on 13 catches. The Packers have been featuring him early and often this year, so get him on your fantasy team if you need receiver help. Week 4 Drops49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo The 49ers fear Jimmy Garoppolo tore the ACL in his left knee late in Sunday’s 38-27 loss to the Chiefs. Garoppolo will have an MRI on Monday to confirm the extent of the injury, but the initial prognosis within the team is that he’s out. It’s a tough break for the rising star, as his season is likely ending before the calendar even turns to October. Even if he somehow plays again this season, he’s struggled to make the fantasy impact that we all thought he could. He has just five total touchdowns in three games and has averaged under 250 yards per game. He’s safe to drop. Jets WR Robby Anderson Despite a promising start to the year, Robby Anderson is struggling just to get targets in the Jets’ suddenly anemic offense. Quincy Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse both drew more targets in the 21-17 loss to Browns. For the season, Anderson has just six catches on 10 targets for 90 yards and one score. That’s just not going to cut it Trayveon Williams Jersey Womens , so you can cut bait with him now. Bengals WR John RossThe Bengals had high hopes for John Ross coming into this season, and for good reason. The former ninth-overall pick had a strong training camp and preseason, enough to think he had clearly established himself as the No. 2 wide receiver in this offense. But after three games, Ross has just five catches for 27 yards and one score. Even with A.J. Green sidelined for much of the loss in Carolina, it was Tyler Boyd and Tyler Eifert who carried the passing game, while Ross crumbled and gave up on a route that led to a game-sealing interception.Ross can be dropped in all leagues except deep dynasty leagues.Bengals Bytes (9/25): Defense will have a chance at redemption with red hot Falcons up next PFF 2019 NFL Mock Draft 1 | NFL Draft news and analysis | Pro Football FocusLead NFL Draft Analyst Steve Palazzolo outlines his first 2019 NFL Mock Draft after 4 weeks of action in the 2018 NCAA football season.Defense hits erase as Falcons loomBengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick and his defensive coordinator Teryl Austin have been around long enough to know September isn’t December. The day after Sunday’s soul-searching 31-21 loss for a defense that allowed rushing yards and third downs at will, neither man blinked in the hot glare of scrutiny.Glasgow's Break-Out Year Takes A KneeBengals sophomore defensive tackle Ryan Glasgow was just coming into his own in the first three games of this season and now he’s on his own after tearing his ACL during one of his break-out games Sunday in Carolina.Quick Hits: Austin Takes Blame; Glasgow Surgery May Be Family AffairWhen the Bengals hired defensive coordinator Teryl Austin back in January the word was he was a stand-up guy that extracted loyalty from his players and on a Grim Reaper Monday that proved to be true.Winners and losers from the Bengals’ Week 3 loss to the PanthersFor the average NFL team, the difference between starting 3-0 and 2-1 is quite disparate. Per Pro Football Reference, teams opening with a 3-0 record in the current playoff format earn postseason berths 72.3% of the time. A 2-1 start, on the other hand, gives clubs only a 52.3% chance at making the playoffs.Bengals' defense surprised, flattened by PanthersDown to its last chance Trayveon Williams Cincinnati Bengals Jersey , the Bengals' defense dug in to stop the run. The Carolina Panthers ran the ball six straight plays, got a pair of first downs and finished them off. This time, there was no big play to save a defense that's given up a lot of yards in three games.Bengals' turnover magic ran out against PanthersIt sure seemed like the Bengals’ defense was headed for late-game heroics for the third straight week, but the opportunistic defense of the first two weeks failed to generate a turnover in a 31-21 loss to the Panthers on Sunday. “We didn’t make any bounces go our way,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. “We had opportunity and we’ve got to make them bounce our way.”Cincinnati Bengals lose Ryan Glasgow to season-ending injuryRapoport said Glasgow, a second-year player from the University of Michigan, suffered a torn ACL. Glasgow, a key reserve, played in all three games this season and appeared in all 16 games as a rookie. Glasgow, a 6-foot-3, 300-pounder, was a fourth-round pick by the Bengals in 2017.Bengals’ Green on groin injury: ‘I’ll be fine’Green sustained the injury while attempting to make a leaping catch over the middle in the third quarter and did not return in Cincinnati’s 31-21 setback to the Carolina Panthers.Marvin Lewis wants John Ross to better ‘protect his quarterback’John Ross is the biggest talking point coming out of the Cincinnati Bengals’ 31-21 loss to the Carolina Panthers — for all the wrong reasons. Ross was the intended target on two Andy Dalton interceptions Trayveon Williams Jersey 2019 , making him a target for an overall miserable day. A.J. Green had already talked about the issues. What’s next for Bengals defensive line after Ryan Glasgow tears ACL?CINCINNATI – As the son of two orthopedic surgeons, Ryan Glasgow knew the news was bad before Bengals trainer Paul Sparling got to him as he lay writhing on the Bank of American Stadium turf Sunday in Charlotte.Random BytesBen Roethlisberger, Steelers Hang on to Beat Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buccaneers on MNFIt was only a matter of time before Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick stopped playing like an MVP and the Pittsburgh Steelers stopped playing like a last-place team, and both early-season trends ended Monday.Ryan Fitzpatrick 1st in NFL History to Throw for 400 Yards in 3 Straight Games"FitzMagic" hasn't dissipated entirely, as Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick bounced back after a slow start Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers to make history.
