SWTOR: Petition - Give Us a Netflix Series!

The reason for the petition launched two weeks ago is simple, fans say: Star Wars is more popular than it has been in a long time and now is the best time to tell stories from the history of the universe. That the creators of SWTOR Credits Disney know the Old Republic, they have already shown in the final of the second season of Rebels. The planet Malachor and the age-old battle heroes met in it contain enough references to Knights of the Old Republic and SWTOR to make the mouth water of fans.

The supporters would like to have this time, so important to them, in the history of the Star Wars universe in the form of a Netflix series on TV and screen. "Netflix has great content and can provide a platform to showcase it in a dark and adult form," the petition says.

However, even SWTOR fans doubt that the petition will ever bear fruit. In the SWTOR Credits US associated thread on Reddit, the users agree: even with a million signatories the chances of such a series would be vanishingly small.
