Chi Minh (HCM) City will be the focal point of the grand celebration, one of the most important political and cultural events of the year that highlights the country's strong determination and will to achieve national independence and reunification, organizers said in a statement on Monday.
Highlights of activities in the city will be the grand meeting and parade to be held on April 30, which will be broadcast live on television and radio. The parade will be attended by high-ranking leaders of the party and government, army and social organizations, delegations of foreign diplomatic corps Wholesale Dallas Cowboys Jerseys , representatives of overseas Vietnamese community and local residents.

On the occasion of the Liberation Day this year, a ceremony will also be held in the city for the replacement of old statue depicting President Ho Chi Minh and a kid located in front of the City Hall with a new one. The opening of the walkers-only Nguyen Hue Avenue in the city will also be held.
