AFC East Roundup: fantasy football sleepers With the NF

L regular season just around the corner it marks another occasion that is getting ready to come up; fantasy football. In the AFC East there are a lot of players that are guaranteed to get picked up by a team ranging from Tom Brady to LeSean McCoy. This week on the AFC East roundup http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-jerry-hughes-jersey , we will be looking at a fantasy sleeper on each of the four teams in the division that may help you bring that championship home.Buffalo Bills: TE Charles ClayIt has been reasonable to say that Clay has not lived fully up to the expectations from when he signed with Buffalo a couple years ago. Clay is hoping to pick up where he left off having four touchdowns in the final couple weeks of the season last year. He was ranked 16th among tight ends in last year’s fantasy rankings but he has the potential for a break out season. With a new offensive coordinator and starting quarterback in either Nathan Peterman or Josh Allen, expect Clay to be used a lot more than in the past. Predictions have him just outside the top ten for his position this season but don’t be surprised if he is on the board in the later rounds of your draft.Miami Dolphins: RB Frank GoreWe know that the starting running back for the Dolphins this season will be Kenyan Drake but do not sleep on his backup in Frank Gore. Expect Gore to be used in a lot of short yardage situations and down near the goal line. If Gore is consistently getting into the end zone inside of the five-yard line that will be easy fantasy points in your pocket. You do not have to prioritize him either in your draft with him being your backup. He could possibly be there for a nice low-risk, high-reward last pick depending on how large your league is.New York Jets: DefenseThe Jets defense as a whole can be quite valuable for fantasy owners this year. This defense has made upgrades from last year getting the best cornerback in free agency with Trumaine Johnson and still have Leonard Williams up front. The Jets defense may be ranked last in fantasy projections but the team has the second-easiest schedule in the league up until Week 8. One can easily use their defense for the first half of the season before switching them out if the situation calls for it. New England Patriots: WR Cordarrelle PattersonThe Patriots always seem to have a couple fantasy sleepers on the roster each season and expect this one to be no different. Patterson is that speedy deep threat that Brady loves to use every season so expect Patterson to take advantage of that. He is outside the top-50 receivers in preseason rankings so you will not having to worry picking him up in the later rounds. Without Brandin Cooks, Brady will be looking for a new deep target and Patterson can be that guy. Levi Wallace had a heck of a year. As an undrafted free agent, the rookie landed with the Buffalo Bills where he fell to the practice squad with a cornerback group having decent depth to start the year. In Week two http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-jeremy-kerley-jersey , Vontae Davis retired at halftime which eventually led to Phillip Gaines taking over opposite Tre’Davious White. Phillip Gaines had a bit of an issue with defensive pass interference (among other concerns) and was cut after a particularly bad outing against Da Bears. With a suddenly depleted defensive back roster, Wallace got the call to the active squad and never looked back. Let’s see how he did. Play 1This is Levi Wallace’s first drive of his first regular season NFL action. It’s pretty impressive that he diagnoses the play, directs one of the budding stars in Matt Milano, and then attacks the perfect receiver for the play call. Not every pre-snap routine is top notch like this one, but Wallace is constantly communicating. For his part of the play itself Cheap Zay Jones Jersey , he drives as soon as he sees Quincy Enunwa turn his head. The pass is deflected, but even had it been caught this play is dead in the water thanks to Wallace. Play 2That isn’t to say he won’t make some mistakes. Wallace is so fixated on his man that he essentially tackles Matt Milano. As a result, some options open up for the Jets, though luckily they didn’t capitalize. Play 3Wallace’s aggressive nature can be a problem as well. Here that combines with good ol’ fashioned inexperience. Not realizing the receiver is coming in to block, Levi Wallace bites inside. By the time Wallace realizes what’s up the play is lost. Play 4More rookie eagerness and inexperience prevents a splash play in this clip. Wallace skirts the edge quite well and is in position to make a tackle five or six yards behind the line of scrimmage. He takes a bad angle to the inside and the running back gets outside of Wallace. The run still goes down as a loss Bills Marcus Murphy Jersey , but this is a play Levi Wallace likely wanted a do-over on. Play 5Let’s take a look at pass coverage. Wallace wasn’t tested as much as you might expect as an undrafted rookie. He often held up well, with solid instincts and change of direction ability to stay with his man. Wallace is in good position here thanks to good anticipation on the route. Play 6And here’s a big reason why Wallace held up well in the final stretch of games. The ability to flip his hips leads to an easier time changing direction while maintaining speed. Play 7To start with the bad, Wallace nearly always turns sideways immediately at the snap rather than backpedal. Sometimes Wallace even telegraphs this pre-snap. This is something that can be taken advantage of by shiftier receivers. To close with the good, Levi Wallace is like glue on this route, even navigating the hesitation move beautifully. SummaryLevi Wallace is a pleasant surprise Youth Rafael Bush Jersey , becoming the rare case where the depth players work out better than the planned starter. Wallace shows good awareness that unfortunately isn’talways matched by his experience and ability. There are a few things a clever team could exploit in Wallace’s game but several other aspects that make it hard to play against him. Wallace has already outplayed expectations, but look for him to make a bigger impression in year two.
