S, Maryland v. Michigan State

Darnell Savage Youth DeAndre Carter Jersey , (12 PM on ESPN2)Excited about this top name prospect, folks. Savage is a hitter on the backend for the Terrapins who is unafraid to fly downhill to the football — but I think he’s rangy enough to play deep. He does have good strength as a nickel rotation player, though I’m excited to get deeper into his man coverage ability in the future. - SolakJD Spielman, WR, Nebraska v. Ohio State (12 PM on FOX)Spielman and teammate Stanley Morgan Jr. actually comprise quite the formidable duo for a Nebraska team that has underperformed this season. Ohio State brings a staunch secondary to the match-up, with healthy corners in Damon Arnette and Kendall Sheffield returning to the field. Spielman is only a redshirt sophomore, but has impressed with the ball in his hands this season. - SolakJosh Allen, Edge, Kentucky v. Georgia (3:30 PM on CBS)Few defensive lineman have had as productive a season as Josh Allen. The Kentucky junior has been integral to the Wildcats’ impressive season. Georgia’s balanced, explosive offense will be in Allen’s crosshairs this Saturday and his performance could dictate the game. - NatanRiley Ridley, WR, Georgia v. Kentucky (3:30 PM on CBSBrother of Calvin Ridley — yeah, the ‘Bama wideout and first round pick of the Atlanta Falcons — Riley plays at rival Georgia. He doesn’t get nearly the volume his older brother did at the FBS level, but you could argue that Riley is more physically talented. He’s better in contested catch situations and loves to climb the latter; he’s also got a staunch test in Kentucky CB Derrick Baity awaiting him in this big SEC match-up. - SolakDavid Sills, WR Womens Jason Peters Jersey , WVU V. Texas (3:30 PM on Fox)In what is poised to be a high scoring affair, the skill players will be on full display. David Sills is enjoying a huge senior season where he has 9 touchdowns on less than 40 catches. Texas’ defense has been stronger this year than in seasons passed, but Sills is Will Grier’s favorite target and should see a healthy dose of opportunities to make big plays in a huge game. - NatanGarrett Bradbury, iOL, NC State v. Florida State (3:30 PM on ABC)Slept on nationally, Bradbury is a super mobile pivot for the Wolfpack, and much credit of NC State’s strong rushing attack over the last few seasons belongs to Bradbury’s work in the middle. As a pass protector, he’s lacking in size and ideal power — but we’re seeing that matter less and less at the NFL level (just look at Jason Kelce!). Florida State’s got some big boys up front though, so this is a nice test. - SolakMiles Sanders, RB, PSU v. Michigan (3:45 PM on ESPN)In the shadow of Saquon Barkley’s leaving for the NFL, Miles Sanders has shone this season. With over 800 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground, Sanders has taken over as the spark for the Nittany Lion offense. His number is sure to be called several times against a very talented Michigan defense and his ability to punish the Wolverines on every carry will weigh heavily on his NFL prospects. - NatanCorrion Ballard, Safety, Utah v. ASU (4 PM on ESPN)Utah is flying under the radar as a ranked team and their senior leader on defense is similarly underrated. Corrion Ballard is a 6-3, 200 pound defender with experience at both safety positions. He’s a smart and physical player who has been key in the Ute’s success this season. ASU has a lot of big play potential on offense and Ballard will be called on against the run and pass to limit a resurgent Sun Devils team. - NatanGarrett Brumfield Youth Alshon Jeffery Jersey , iOL, LSU v. Alabama (8 PM on CBS)Nobody on the field has a bigger test than Brumfield, who will be tasked with handling Alabama’s latest monstrosity, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. Brumfield is a dancing bear out there who still needs technical advancements, but his physical upside is as good as any guard prospect I’ve seen thus far in the 2019 class. He’ll garner quite a few fans if he has a good game under the biggest spotlight of college football. - SolakGreedy Williams, CB, LSU v. Alabama (8 PM on CBS)The Marquee Matchup of the weekend is easily the top three match between LSU and Alabama. The Roll Tide is arguably fielding their best offense ever with inarguably their most explosive passing game. Greedy Williams is still largely regarded as the best cornerback prospect in the country and he will need to perform like it on Saturday night if LSU wants a chance to take down the behemoth of Alabama. - Natan ESPN put out some “way too early” NFL power rankings following Super Bowl LIII and you might be surprised to see the Philadelphia Eagles did not make the top 10. In fact, they’re all the way down at No. 12.Power rankings are admittedly silly but, hey, they give us something to talk about. And that’s what we do here at Bleeding Green Nation: talk about the Eagles. You’ll be shocked to learn that I think 12th is a little too low. I mean, why are the Pittsburgh Steelers — who didn’t even make the playoffs — ahead of the Eagles? Why are the Texans — who got beat by the Eagles in Week 16 and then lost by two scores at home in the Wild Card round — also ahead of Philly? I think the Eagles should be considered a top 10 team, at least. With that said, I do see reason why some could have reservations about the 2019 team. The Eagles could undergo a lot of change this offseason with a number of key players potentially leaving: Nick Foles, Brandon Graham, Jason Peters, Darren Sproles Womens Brandon Brooks Jersey , Ronald Darby, Jay Ajayi, Jason Kelce, Golden Tate, Jordan Hicks, etc. There’s also obvious concern about Carson Wentz’s ability to stay healthy. But the upside of Wentz and Doug Pederson, who has proved himself as one of the league’s better coaches, should be good enough to reasonably put the Eagles in the top 10. Other thoughts from these power rankings:Lol at the Los Angeles Rams at No. 1. I don’t doubt they’ll be in the playoff mix once again next season but we’re really ranking them as the top team after scoring the fewest points in Super Bowl history? After Sean McVay got completely pantsed? After Jared Goff showed why teams shouldn’t really be all that afraid of him?Somehow the New England Patriots are only at No. 4 coming off their sixth Super Bowl title.I think some could make a case for the Eagles over the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens. But I don’t think those teams being ahead of Philly is egregious. The Chicago Bears at No. 6 is tricky. Their defense is really good, yeah, but I just don’t know about Mitchell Trubisky.Around the NFC East: the Dallas Cowboys are 13th (right below the Eagles), the New York Giants are 21st, and Washington is 25th. We’ll have to see what New York and Washington do at quarterback before we can get a better gauge of where they stack up heading into 2019.
