Chargers Have the 13th Best Talent Under 25

Scott Kacsmar of FootballOutsiders.com released his latest “Under-25 Talent” rankings on ESPN Insider yesterday with the Los Angeles Rams claiming the number one spot on the list.The Chargers http://www.authenticlosangeleschargers.com/cheap-drew-kaser-jersey , however, are a tad closer to the middle of the pack. They fell seven spots to 13th this year after being ranked 6th prior to the 2017 season. Here are some notes from Kacsmar on the ranking:On OGs Forrest Lamp and Dan Feeney:“Injury erased guard Forrest Lamp’s rookie season, so hopefully he’ll have a good start at right guard this season while Dan Feeney remains at left guard. Lamp was considered to be the top guard prospect in the 2017 draft, so this could be a nice addition that people may be overlooking because of that rookie injury.”On WR Mike Williams and TE Hunter Henry:“Injury also slowed Mike WIlliams’ development at wide receiver last season. Another injury knocked out tight end Hunter Henry, who has posted some great metrics in his first two seasons. If not for that injury Youth Michael Schofield Jersey , the Chargers would have ranked a few spots higher.”On DE Joey Bosa and other defensive players:“At least the Chargers still have a dominant edge rusher in Joey Bosa, who racked up 42 hurries last season. They may have also hit big in the draft again with safety Derwin James, expected to bea Week 1 starter barring another catastrophe. The secondary is loaded with young depth that already has experience, including Desmond King and Trevor Williams.”Kacsmar is correct that, without the recent injuries Color Rush Mike Williams Jersey , this team would be ranked in the top ten. Without Henry, a top player at his position already, it’s tough to make the case on the young corners and Bosa, alone. Depending on how the recent rookie class develops, it may sky-rocket this team up the list for 2019 and beyond. The Rams promoted receiver KhaDarel Hodge from the practice squad and activated right guard Jamon Brown from the suspended list.Hodge joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Prairie View A&M. He appeared in all four preseason games Color Rush Melvin Ingram Jersey , catching eight passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.The Rams were down to four receivers after placing Pharoh Cooper and Mike Thomas on injured reserve.Brown served a two-game suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. He started all 16 games last season, but Austin Blythe might keep Brown on the sideline.“I going to do whatever is asked of me,” Brown said, via Rich Hammond of the Southern California News Group. “Blythe, he played well the first two weeks and I think he earned and deserved every right to continue to keep that up.”The Rams also announced they signed quarterback Brandon Allen and defensive end Marcus Martin to the practice squad.
