it builds a brand new ‘next-gen MMO’ and plans RuneFest

Jagex CEO Phil Mansell is making the press rounds soon, unloading interesting quotes on GIbiz, like the admission that Jagex felt it had neglected RuneScape gets hotter was centering on other projects that didn’t materialize. The good news could be that the studio has turned everthing around.
“A couple weeks ago we our highest peak concurrent user level for eight years,” he tells GIbiz. “In regards to subscription levels, it’s the best for seven as well as a half years. Those games are undergoing a real renaissance, and not just like a one off. We’ve had four numerous years of consistent growth now.”
That isn’t to say the organization is giving standing on other games, however. Mansell says Jagex is actually working away at other stuff. One of them will ideally turn into “mid-budget online title,” but additional?
