Minnesota finishes with 13-3 victory over Tennessee

Vikings at Titans Final Score: The 2018 preseason is officially over Youth Everson Griffen Jersey , and from the action that took place in Nashville this evening, nobody is happier about that than the Minnesota Vikings and the Tennessee Titans.The purple finished their preseason on a high note, as they took down the Titans by a final score of 13-3 at Nissan Stadium.The first half was relatively slow, action-wise. The two teams went into the locker room at halftime with the score tied at 3-3 and neither team really able to do much on offense. In the second half, Kyle Sloter took over at quarterback for the relatively ineffective Trevor Siemian, and pretty well solidified his spot on the 53-man roster. After Siemian went 6-of-11 for 55 yards in the first half, Sloter went 11-of-15 for 130 yards and a 24-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Zylstra.Zylstra led the Vikings in receiving on the night, and definitely made his case to be included on the 53-man roster as well.The battle for the #3 running back spot appears to have been decided this evening as well. Mike Boone took over the lion’s share of the carries from there, and finished the night with 56 yards and 15 carries. Boone also chipped in a pair of receptions for 53 yards, including a 46-yard catch and run on a screen pass.Daniel Carlson, who had some definite issues against the Seattle Seahawks in the third preseason game, was 2-for-2 on field goals on Thursday night against the Titans, connecting from 39 yards in the first half and 22 yards in the second half.The Vikings finish their preseason with a record of 3-1, and will host the San Francisco 49ers a week from Sunday in the regular season opener. In the most recent Winter Olympics, Diggins teamed with Kikkan Randall to win the gold medal in the Women’s Team Sprint event in cross-country skiing. Wentz coughed up the ball and it floated into the arms of Linval Joseph, who rambled for a 64-yard touchdown and a lead that the Vikings didn’t relinquish.If memory serves me correctly, there were quite a few other Minnesotans that took home gold medals at the most recent Winter Olympics. If having them speak to the Vikings can get them to perform the way they did on Sunday, maybe the team should continue this trend of bringing them in to speak on Fridays. I don’t know how much it would help, but it doesn’t appear as though it would hurt.
