NFL preseason Kellen Clemens poor outing

There were lots of empty seats at StubHub Center on Sunday night for the Chargers first preseason game attheir new but temporary home in Carson, Calif.The StubHub Center, where the Darrelle Revis Jersey L.A. Galaxy play, holds about 30,000 fans, by far the smallest capacity in the NFL. The third-year middle linebacker has been pegged for a bigger role in San Diego this season, including calling the defensive plays.Impact rookiesKenny Golladay, WR, Lions. The Northern Illinois product is looking like a potential third-round steal. Golladay has been impre sive during camp, and in Detroits 24-10 win at Indianapolis on Sunday, he caught three pa ses, all contested by Colts defenders, for 53 yards and two touchdowns.Jarrad Davis, LB, Lions. While he wasnt credited with the tackle, Davis the Lions first-round pick out of Florida was in the pile on the Colts first play from scrimmage. The stat sheet shows just one tackle for Davis, on a 6-yard run by Robert Turbin, but the Detroit Free Pre s reports the rookie played well in pa s coverage, blanketing tight end Jack Doyle on a Scott Tolzien incompletion early in the game, and helped force three-and-outs on the Colts' first two series.Chris Carson, RB, Seahawks. Seattles backfield is a crowded one, what with Eddie Lacy now in Adam Humphries Jersey town to join Thomas Rawls, C.J. Prosise and Alex Collins, but Carson is making his case for his share of carries.
