"MapleStory 2" officially arrives today in South Korea

"MapleStory 2," the Nexon free-to-play MMO Sandbox, will be released today in South Korea. The game featured more than 400,000 characters created during its various Closed Betas. At launch, the maximum level will be increased to 40, and Nexon intends to increase this to 50 in an August update. The game will also feature new skills and more extensive maps (including Shadow World), a new boss called 'Captain Mock', the return of the boss 'Papulatus' (MapleStory 1), more styles of Buy MS 2 Mesos haircuts, and 2nd season of Guilds Championship.

There is no official information about the launch of MapleStory 2 in the West.
