Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson was on the field Tuesday as minicamp got underway Tanoh Kpassagnon Jersey , but the knee brace he’d been wearing on his right leg in previous offseason practices open to the media was not.

There was no announcement that Watson was ditching the brace and coach Bill O’Brien professed surprise about the development when he spoke to the media later in the day.

“I don鈥檛 know. I didn鈥檛 notice that,” O’Brien said, via the team. “I鈥檓 sure that was cleared with the proper people. I鈥檓 not the brace doctor or the brace coach.”

Watson tore his ACL last November and has been doing 7-on-7 work at OTAs as he pushes to return to the lineup for the start of the regular season. Running back Lamar Miller seems to think that’s a likely outcome as he said, via Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com, that he doesn’t “really notice any issues with his knee Deion Sanders Jersey , other than his coaches holding him back from certain drills.”

That will likely remain the case as minicamp wraps up, but it sounds like it won’t be a surprise if Watson’s doing just about everything come the start of training camp.

Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott says cutting quarterback Tyrod Taylor is not part of the team's current plans, though he won't rule out trading the three-year starter.

McDermott says it's too early to remove any option off the table "other than cutting him at this point," in answering a question as to whether the Bills would consider trading Taylor. "We're in a good position with some options out there, so that'll work itself out Jerry Rice Jersey ," he added at the NFL combine on Wednesday.

Taylor's future in Buffalo remains in question even though he helped lead the Bills to a 9-7 record and clinch the team's first playoff berth since 1999. Taylor has a 23-21 record with the Bills and went 8-6 last season while also being benched for one game in favor of rookie Nathan Peterman.

The Bills considered cutting Taylor last March before the quarterback agreed to restructure his contract by reducing it from a five-year to a two-year term.

Taylor enters the final year of his deal, and is due a $6 million bonus in two weeks. General manager Brandon Beane previously said the Bills could comfortably afford carrying Taylor's contract this year, which will count $18 million against the salary cap.
