This German Player Is FIFA 17's First New Global Cover Athlete In Four Years

One in the surprising stories of FIFA 17 is the fact Lionel Messi will not be the global cover star. Messi has been about the series' covers to the past four years, but this current year, a different athlete is taken over. Publisher EA announced today which the German player Marco Reus has won the top's vote.

Reus plays with the German national team along with FIFA 19 Coins . He won probably the most of 3.one million votes cast inside the competition, beating Manchester United's Anthony Martial, Real Madrid's James Rodriguez, and Chelsea's Eden Hazard.

FIFA 17 launches on September 27 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
