Fortnite Update 4.2 Delayed; New Patch Time Announced

Update 2: Fortnite's new update, 4.2, has become due out on Wednesday. Server downtime will start at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST / 6 PM AET, although no estimate for the duration was shared. The new patch are going to be available as soon as the servers get home online.

Update: The new Fortnite patch has become delayed as a result of Fortnite Skins 's discovery of the unspecified issues. Related to this, some quests may not work as expected, Epic said. That includes among the Week 3 challenges.

Fortnite is constantly get new updates. Developer Epic Games announced today on Twitter how the battle royale game's next update is resulting on May 15.

Version 4.2 will arrive tomorrow starting at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET, and there is going to be some downtime linked to it. However, Epic would not specify how much time the downtime lasts. The patch is anticipated for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and we'll circle back with all the patch notes if they're made available.

In other Fortnite news, Epic has added one more dance emote. This one is termed the Chicken Emote, and it also really appears like Gob's wonderful dance from Arrested Development. Tomorrow's Fortntie patch seems to be the one that will take off the Infinity Gauntlet mode in Fortnite Traps. This mode provides a chance to play as Avengers: Infinity War bad guy Thanos. A recent patch made him simpler to kill, though he remains extremely deadly.
