Square Enix hires Sonic mastermind Yuji Naka

Acclaimed game designer Yuji Naka announced on Twitter this morning he was joining Square Enix.
Naka is advisable known because former head with the Sonic Team at Sega. Naka left Sega in 2006 to begin with Digimon Masters Online Gold his own independent studio, Prope. The studio released Let’s Tap in 2008 for your Wii, where players tapped a corresponding cardboard box to complement the cues on-screen. (In an age of Nintendo Labo, Nintendo’s own cardboard-gaming project, Let’s Tap feels ahead of their time.) Prope also created few Digimon games, including Digimon Adventure in 2013 to the Playstation Portable and Digimon All-Star Rumble in 2014 with the PlayStation 3.
Naka didn’t announce what he’ll be working on at Square Enix, but said his goal ended up being to create a pleasant game.
Just a fast note to inform you, I joined SQUARE ENIX in January.
I’m joining game development as before, and attempt to develop games at SQUARE ENIX.
I make an effort to develop a pleasurable Digimon Masters Online Tera game, please look to it.
Naka’s announcement marks the very first piece of big news to the developer since Prope released its last game, Rodea the Sky Soldier, to the Wii and Wii U.
Naka confirmed he joined Square Enix during the early January, but other information about his employment are scarce only at that time.
